Please tell me that someone in this sub is using this Pokemon card binder to store their CC collection. Gotta churn 'em all!

Two suggestions:

Since you just started playing, the UltraPro Tower is great to just store two decks and some tokens. Comes in a ton of colors, is very durable, and holds what you need. The best for the price (around $10):

https://www.amazon.com/Red-Satin-Tower-Deck-Boxes/dp/B00FRIEAN8/

If you're wanting to bring multiple decks to casual play nights or similar events, you might want to consider investing in something that will let you bring multiple Corp and Runner decks. I like the Ultimate Guard Twin Flip n' Tray:

https://www.amazon.com/Card-Twin-Flip-Tray-Xenoskin/dp/B016CWIJXY/

Comes in multiple colors, the magnetic latches are strong, and is a great way to carry four decks (or five, since I take out the token tray and slip in another deck).

BONUS SUGGESTION:

The Quiver. I've filled my Quiver up with upwards of 8 constructed decks and a bunch of extras. It holds my cube at the moment, but is a great case if you find yourself wanting to bring lots of cards anywhere:

ABSOLUTELY watch all that, but if you don't have the time I'll give you the highlights.

For a regular deck box, Legion and Ultimate Guard make great boxes that tend to fit more than their reported value.

If you want to get fancy, any of the Ultimate Guard Flip'n'Tray or Monolith boxes are awesome. Also the Ultra Pro Satin Tower, pretty much the same as the Monolith.

If you need something as cheap as possible while also holding all your stuff (like d20s and d6s), the Ultra Pro Pro-Dual box will hold a full 75 card deck in one compartment and a Chessex 36ct d6 box and some d20s in the other.

Other than that I like the Ultimate Guard Deck'n'Tray, It holds a deck like the boxes with a tray for counters and dice.

u/wutitdopikachu · 4 pointsr/l5r

I use the Ultimate Guard and it's half the price of that deck box. (EDIT: Looking at US Amazon, it looks like the price of the Elder Dragon might be gouged by that one seller)

I take the central tray out so I can fit more stuff in the central compartment. It holds 2 dials, a 20 sided die, rings, first player token, and a bag of my tokens with just a little more room to spare (enough for two more 20 sided dice).

I was using the superhive and it’s a great product, but it was too squared off. Found this one that accomplishes the same thing better. Room for 2 mats, 14 sleeved decks in burger token boxes, and a small zippered token bag. Also has a removable shoulder strap.

Not really. I usually tinker around with containers until I find a good match.

[this one] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B016CWIJRU/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1) has been pretty useful. I keep 4 games in it (codenames, set, biblios, bang the dice game).

[this one] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00WFJJWM6/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and [this one] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00WFJJREO/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1&th=1) are pretty good too. I've used the latter for five tribes and Inis.

The ultra pro boxes are great too. Most smaller games or card games will fit in them. I kept codenames in one of the 250 (100?) card one for a while.

Some games, like Lords of Waterdeep and King of Tokyo can also be considerably reduced in size if you make some of your own components, particularly if you can replace the board. For both of these I printed custom version of the board on cloth and was able to reduce their required storage space to less than half.

Edit : I misread the question, here's the answer to what you asked : no, I have a couple of different style of boxes so I can usually tell at a glance what game is in which box. You could also label them if you'll have similar containers. Other than that they're all just in my closet.

u/SkywalterDBZ · 2 pointsr/l5r

Got one of these (https://www.amazon.com/Deck-Box-Satin-Tower-Metallic/dp/B01ANIMOBG/ref=sr_1_7?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1505674634&sr=1-7&keywords=ultra+pro+satin+tower) myself.

Much cheaper, token tray in bottom. Holds 2 regular or 1 L5R decks (Honestly it may even hold 2 of those, its capacity is higher than advertised).

u/zlforster · 2 pointsr/magicTCG

I’d recommend a nice deck box. It’s the sort of thing I want, but never would buy for myself. I was given an ultimate guard deck box. It’s got a spot for dice, and two sleeved decks. Amazon has it for $35, but my FLGS has them for less so it may be with shopping around.

Also dice in general. Your buddy probably has a bunch of d20’s, but something mini dice are super useful for counters. These are generally lost or “borrowed” and not returned, so this is something you can always use more of.

Hope this helps!

u/TheNerdyestNerd · 2 pointsr/cardsagainsthumanity

I've been using this case ever since I grew out of my Bigger Blacker Box, its been good to me so far. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XT3LS4M/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Some MTG related ideas - cool deck box, dice set, card portfolio, playmat

How about a drone? Or a couple of tickets to a nerdy convention? Accessories or upgrade for his computer? Does he have his own place? Maybe a Google Home or Amazon Echo?

u/beigemore · 1 pointr/KingdomDeath

Yes, the entire 1.5 core sleeved with official KDM sleeves (thin/penny sleeves) fits pretty easily.

Here is a post I made earlier about getting into the game.

>To give you an idea on deck building, here are some information that you will find helpful.

>https://www.reddit.com/r/pkmntcg/wiki/faq#wiki_beginners_guide_to_the_pokemon_trading_card_game

>https://www.reddit.com/r/pkmntcg/wiki/budgetdecks

>Now, I will also give you some important information what stuff you need to play your deck.

>Purchasing cards
=============

>For purchasing cards, I recommend buying a booster box and an elite trainer box for each new set that comes out then purchase singles. An elite trainer box also gives 5 of each Energy type and burn and poison markers as well as nice dice! One for flipping and the others for keeping track of damage They're made of acrylic, not cheaper cardboard that come with preconstructed decks.

>Sleeves
============================

>Also, I can't stress this enough but, you need sleeves. I recommend Ultra Pro Matte Sleeves. You would need 66mmx91 mm ones to fit Pokemon cards.

>http://www.amazon.com/Ultra-Pro-PRO-MATTE-Protector-Sleeves/dp/B00A3H7PEE/ref=pd_sim_21_1?ie=UTF8&dpID=51bmSHgIiHL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR143%2C160_&refRID=0FNV83F2P22B2ZK6RXEK

>You can never have enough sleeves. Extras are used to replace ones that look worn out. If you play with worn sleeves (marked) you can get in trouble.

>Playmat
>======================

>Another important thing is a play mat. I really don't like seeing players struggle to scoop up cards on the table instead of a mat; damaging their sleeves in the process!

>http://www.trollandtoad.com/p1064929.html

>Deck Boxes
>==============

>Get a couple deck boxes. I prefer boxes that match the colour of my sleeves. These tower ones are the ones I use. They store a lot of cards and you don't need dice bags to store your dice!

>http://www.amazon.com/White-Satin-Tower-Deck-Boxes/dp/B00FEKACD6/ref=sr_1_3?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1439742188&sr=1-3&keywords=ultra+pro+tower+box

>Dice
>=====================

>Lastly, you need dice. They are used in place of damage counters and coin flipping. For coin flipping die (in competitive play we use them instead of coins), you need a clear one. The rules state you need to.

>http://www.amazon.com/Chessex-Dice-d6-Sets-Translucent/dp/B000RZP7ME/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1440768952&sr=8-3&keywords=clear+dice

>Storing cards
>=============

>I store cards in a mix of binders and boxes. For binders, you either can use these or try to save some money and get these and these

>For boxes to store non-EXs, secret rares and Trainers, I use [these[(http://www.amazon.com/Trading-Card-Storage-Baseball-Basketball/dp/B00RS7K05I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1448893048&sr=8-1&keywords=card+storage+case+jammers)

>You also can use cardboard boxes for cheap here but I don't like them because they aren't secure.

This is the best (cheapest) solution I've found. One of these comfortably holds two decks or 24 dice. Unfortunately, while it's good for travel, it's impossible to search for your dice during a game while keeping them obscured from your opponent. I'd recommend the 200-count cardboard card boxes for this.

u/BigMacchia · 1 pointr/KeyforgeGame

hi, I'm not a game holder, but reading the size information, I can suggest or the double deck, if you want to keep more deck (I will say around 4 decks, with sleeves) Ultimate Guard 160 Plus Twin Deck... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00P9FJYJ4?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

or this is my favorite one

Ultimate Guard UGD010759 Sidewinder 100+ Standard Size Xenoskin, Blue https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B071LM1CSW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_T.FNBb7RBSKYH

for a couple of decks

Says it'll hold 18 of those. It's what a buddy and i have. We both really like them

I'm actually looking for something my fiance could get me for could get me for Christmas, so I'm guessing like up to $50, maybe more if she makes it her big gift. Your idea of the messenger bag got me looking, and I found this bag designed for cards. I think it might be what I'm looking for but can't really tell from the pictures.

u/Vextor17 · 1 pointr/Warhammer40k

Hello Balkan neighbor! KVISSLE is a good choice but lemme give ya advice on it. Ofc handle is a must and ya can find it easy. As for the front go to a hardware store get a plank and a hinge or two and the front is secure albeit those magnets are strong. Switch the panels onto the metal side and if ya have magnets in the bottom of the base they will stick like it was glued on. Also remove the panels and fill the inside with soft materials like foam or styrofoam to keep them extra safe and those thin points not break. Plus when ya play ya can do a badass reveal. But if ya do not want to lug that in a bus (i feel ya man...) i found some on amazon for that budget. Its this (29 euro), this (27 euro but a bit smaller) or this (37 euro). Now i dunno if they come with foam but that you can find easy for cheap or use the inside of egg cartons (they are really cheap and protect minis very well, they saved my 150+euro worth of minis with not a single one even having a small crack). All these cases can be lugged as a backpack or over the shoulder

u/Arelfel · 1 pointr/boltaction

I've been super happy with a game plus bag, you have to buy the foam trays separately. It uses pluck foam so you can make the exact shape you need for each mini.

Well i just got into this game just have one starter and just placed an order for a gravity feed. I'm just planning to use this plano lockjaw organizer. It worked great for when ran a Junior High D&D club, so planning on storing my dice, rule books and dice bags. And for the cards I'll use Deck box for my teams and then store any extras in BCW boxes from my baseball collecting days. It's a bit much for what i have know but it's what i have on hand don't want to spend money on storage rather save that money for when the DC Worlds Finest set is released.

I triple-sleeve all my decks. This fits all 100, triple-sleeved cards in the main compartment, leaving room for tokens and dice in the sub-compartment:

Amazon link.

u/kurosnake · 1 pointr/swdestiny

This one is great. Fits the theme but also fits other card games fine. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016PGOXI2/

u/Cirune · 1 pointr/arkhamhorrorlcg

This one! for player board and FFG's Countless Terror for map and everything else.

u/SonofaBith · 1 pointr/PucaTrade

I'm looking for the Kaalia card sleeves that came in the Ultra-pro Commander Tower Deck box. (as seen here): http://www.amazon.com/Magic-Commander-Tower-Set-Ultrapro/dp/B00PIV6LJK

I'm interested in either acquiring 10 sleeves, or the full pack of 120 sleeves that came in the box. I would prefer un-played (and will pay more if they are), but will take very light play. I'm negotiable on the price.
Since this is an "outside of Puca" transaction (meaning there is no trade number) I would prefer to send half the points first, and the remaining half upon completion. If you are a Gold member, I will send all the points up front, trusting your honesty. Message me here, or through Puca. Thanks for your help!

u/SidNYC · 1 pointr/magicTCG

I'd suggest some nice sleeves : http://www.amazon.com/KMC-80-Pack-Pochettes-Barrier-Perfect/dp/B00SSE5XTI/
Or a nice deck-box : http://www.amazon.com/Db-Flip-Tray-Xenoskin-Cards/dp/B00VTQE3KW/

The sleeves will protect his cards ( see this : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKrU35UDH18 )
The second will look classy and hold his deck. :)

u/sunnypreposition · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

I thought I'd checked it pretty thoroughly! The hidden card is in the game boxes. My secret santa got me [this] (https://www.amazon.com/Horrible-Case-Humanity-1250-1400-Capacity/dp/B0118O54FC)

u/Shade151 · 1 pointr/Netrunner

Lol, I could see myself doing that... but my girlfriend would kill me. She loves pennies. And collects coins. I would be shunned for defiling her precious copper plated zinc!

Thanks for the idea on the case, but I'm dead set on my sleeves. My brother got something similar for Christmas HorribleCase. It looks like I might end up with a few of these to start.

u/chansy93 · 0 pointsr/yugioh
