I have looked into this and can not find any source of this.

I can find cheats like this: http://www.infiniteeventservices.com/uploads/images/popcorn_butter_dispenser.jpg

As you can see it says Golden "Butter-y" Popcorn

I found another called butter burst and another called buttery popping and topping oil and buttery flavored popping oil

I can not find a provider of anything called "Real butter" though and suspect it is not real.

edit: Found one https://www.amazon.com/Odells-Original-Popcorn-Butter-10-Ounce/dp/B002VZWFZU, this says real butter popcorn topping and it is made from 99.95% concentrated butter so it is safe to say that one is real butter and not a brand name. It is not "butter" but it is clarified butter in that it is pure butterfat without milk solids and not named that because of a brand name.

I was the exact same as you - I could have lived on cheese alone but I've been (mostly) dairy free for over four years. My daughter was having a bad reaction to nursing and my dr suggested I cut out dairy and it was a miracle for her and me honestly. I'd always been gassy but just chalked it up to "I guess I'm just gassy" but the change was dramatic and I'm never going back. Seconding goat cheese because it doesn't mess with me as much as cow dairy, so occasionally I'll get the Trader Joe's sliced goat cheese and it's delicious! I've found ways to not miss it and honestly I realized how much better I feel without it. It seems I now gravitate towards Asian (Thai, Japanese, Vietnamese, etc.) restaurants, but I've also found ways to have delicious meals at Mexican, Italian, and American places as well. Let me know if you have any specific concerns about making the change and I'd be more than happy to do my best to help. I can recommend substituting Earth Balance for butter, and I typically use avocado to replace the "creaminess" of cheese on a sandwich. And for homemade pizzas or melts I can recommend Daiya (but NEVER eat it cold. So gross.)

A friend sent me a chain email at work on Wednesday with some "fun thanksgiving facts". One of them was the 46million figure. It's disturbing that people think this is a "fun whimsical fact" that 46 million sentient conscious creatures are brutally killed.

> Also, why do we not have good creamy vegan aerosol whipped cream yet?

This one doesn't have very good reviews, but FYI - https://smile.amazon.com/Soyatoo-Rice-Whip-Can-Ounce/dp/B00496V7Z8?sa-no-redirect=1

I bought it on amazon. Here’s the one I use https://www.amazon.ca/Cultures-for-Health-Yogurt-Starter/dp/B002HPHR0W. If you have any questions their customer support people are very knowledgeable and helpful.

I have tried for years to make yogurt using store bought yogurt as a starter, but it always got thinner and weaker with each batch, so I needed to buy fresh yogurt every couple of weeks. This heirloom culture just keeps going and going.

Daiya- Its not the same as real cheese, but its pretty good.

Of course, then you have to make it on your own.

Some of my friends accuse me, with some justice, of thinking that exchanging loving sensual massages is the cure to all sexual problems. In my case, I went through a period of zero interest in sex and, worse yet, zero arousal when we tried to have sex, so what little sex we had was terrible. We did a number of things, mostly aimed at reducing stress and helping me manage stress better, but what got my motor humming again was learning sensual massage with my partner and doing it regularly. The experience really made a believer out of me, and I have seen the same approach work wonders with other couples who are going through a sexual drought.

At the start, my SO would give me a full-body massage with no touch allowed in the genital area. I did his massage without that restriction, but also with no obligation for me to do anything for him. We started out doing 20 minutes each and gradually worked up. There's an account of how we managed online. This is from the discussion below the main post:

> We started going very, very slowly, working on the meditation and other kinds of stress management and exchanging full-body massages, with no sex at first, just learning how to do massage and learning what felt good and melted the tension away.

> This took several months, and I gradually began to feel like I was starting to wake up, just faint stirrings inside, but enough to wonder what would happen if we pushed things another notch. I started playing around, trying different kinds of caresses for getting him aroused. And along the lines of learning tantra, I started seeing how close I could get him to the brink of an orgasm and how long I could keep him there without going over, and also discovering what effects that had on his orgasms when he did finally finish.

> Part of this was me wanting to do something for him even if I wasn't in a position to share it, but I have to confess that a lot of it was pure curiosity on my part, my inner "mad scientist" coming out. Because I was standing beside the massage table I could actually see every reaction, every involuntary response to what I was doing. And it was like, here's this great biological and neurological puzzle, figuring out how the human male - or this human male - responds to tactile stimuli, and I couldn't resist the challenge! :)

> Eventually we switched the sequence, with me giving him the first massage. And doing that, and edging him for a good long while to a really strong orgasm, actually got me somewhat aroused. Then when he started massaging me, that just keep building a little bit at a time, so I encouraged him to try being more erotic, and having him gently massage my breasts and vulva actually felt good for the first time in ages!

> The progression was gradual, but I think I had my first orgasm in ages a few weeks later, and we had sex after the massages a few more weeks after that, for the first time in months. There was a lot of other stuff going on, including serious meditation practice and lots of non-sexual cuddle time. And the external situation was getting better for both of us too.

I know that massage therapy doesn't work for everyone. Some people dislike any kind of touch in this situation, not just sexual touch. But most people love getting a massage, and the hardworking mom of a two-year-old really deserves one! (Right?)

So if re-establishing loving touch is the goal, the question is whether she will allow you to give this a try. Does she like backrubs? Do they relax her when she's stressed? If so, you might suggest doing something like this as a way of helping her relax and as a way of sharing affection without having sex. Make it clear that giving her a massage isn't intended as foreplay, or as a bargaining chip to get her to give you something. Sex has to be completely off the table (heh!) unless she actually WANTS to do more.

If she agrees to give it a try, buy a folding massage table (under $90 from Amazon) and some virgin coconut oil, and maybe a good book on sensual massage with tasteful, completely non-pornographic photos. Start out with back rubs, and incorporate legs, arms, hands, and feet. Avoid the chest, abdomen, and crotch until she says otherwise. The butt can be off limits to start with or not, depending on whether she sees it as a sexualized area or just a spot that feels great when massaged.

Because of her upbringing and discomfort with nudity, you may need to cover the parts of her body that you are not working on with a couple of towels. It may seem silly to cover parts that are going to be seen and touched eventually, but some people feel much more vulnerable if they are completely uncovered all at one time. If she's one of them, be prepared with extra towels and adjust them as you go. If you have to, you can give a good massage without exposing more than a couple of square feet of skin at a time. Dimming the lights way down may also help her relax.

I hope this helps. Good luck!

u/screamingalmondmilk · 2 pointsr/icecreamery

Inulin is a soluble fiber used as a bulking agent (see icecreamscience.com for details), but not a replacement for milk powder in dairy recipes. I use about 4% of my ice cream mix.

I bought Ecomil's Almond Milk Powder, Hazelnut Powder and Chestnut Powder. I have yet to test it in my ice cream because there's some residue when I make almond/hazelnut/chestnut milk. It needs to fully dissolve for me to enjoy it's texture so I'm reluctant to try.

I wouldn't try soy milk powder unless you have really strong flavors to mask the soy. I tested mine repeatedly, but while it did give good textural improvements the taste was downright horrible in any flavors that didn't overpower it (like chocolate).

There is also rice milk powder, coconut milk powder and oat milk powder but I've yet to try these.

First off, I think this is the most elaborate contest I've ever participated in, so congratulations for that :P Fear cuts deeper than swords. I hope some of my items are awesome enough for some extra credit ;) Also I wasn't sure if duplicates are allowed. I will revise if necessary.

1.) Something grey and it's been on my wishlist.

2.) Rain, well not technically rain, she is a water bender :P Previously on my wishlist.

3.) Unusual, I think this is something I would use like twice a year. With ice cream or cereal.

4.) Someone else My sister and I want to start playing tabletop games. Previously on my wishlist.

5.) "Book" I took a little bit of liberty with this one because it's a graphic novel. But it's Batman, so...(Previously on my wishlist).

6.) Under a dollar.

7.) Cats There's a catbus in it, which is pretty much the best part of the movie. Previously on my wishlist.

8.) Beautiful As a Star Wars fan having the original trilogy on Blu Ray would be beautiful to me. I love high definition movies, especially ones that are aesthetically pleasing. Previously on my wishlist.

9.) Movie As a Browncoat, I would encourage anyone who has a remote interest in Sci-Fi to give this a chance. Previously on my wishlist.

10.) Zombie tool I don't think this needs explanation.

11.) (Updated) Useful for future. I have a desire to create meaningful video games. Previously on wish list.

12.) Add on I actually had this on my wishlist but removed it because add-on items are lame.

13.) Most expensive As previously stated, I want to be a game developer/designer so not only would it be fun to play with, I could create with it too. Previously on list.

14.) Bigger than breadbox Total in the box it is bigger than a breadbox. Previously on wishlist.

15.) Bigger than a golf ball It's a large book. Previously on wishlist.

16.) Smells good As a guy...I enjoy the scent of lavender.

17.) Safe for children toy I don't think this needs any introduction of why it's awesome.

18.) Back to school drawing helps keep me sane. Previously on my list.

19.) Current obsession I'm a noob to tabletop games. But have been wanting to get into it obsessively within the past month or so. And this also takes my love of A Song of Ice and Fire into the mix. Previously on list.

20.) [Amazing] (http://www.amazon.com/Sony-XBR-65X900A-65-Inch-120Hz-Ultra/dp/B00BSREQI6/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1376281533&sr=8-4&keywords=4k+tv) I've seen one of these in person at the mall and it literally made me stop walking the resolution was so incredible. I know it's as expensive as dicks...but man...when these are affordable...

Bonus 2) Made in Oregon I would have put Tillamook Ice Cream, since it's pretty awesome...but alas not on Amazon.

Edit: Changed an item because I saw it won't count because it's a duplicate.

Instead of cans of coconut milk you can get little individual shelf-stable almond milks they are often 10 for $10 at the grocery store where I am. Lighter than a can, but still tasty (and the chocolate ones are DELICIOUS).

u/[deleted] · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

I too dont have dairy! So when I need a fix, I drink this!

Surprise me!

u/Matronix · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Those are the best looking instant potatoes I have ever seen.

Did a search for that butter on Amazon...and came up with this

u/Eatyourfriendz · 2 pointsr/keto

When I happen to visit Starbucks... Americano with heavy cream on top. Sugar-free caramel. Hooray.

Edit: Also - since a lot of us get coffee at work, these things are miracles that don't require a fridge. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007VN10VW/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

> perhaps a better contract-manufacturer

Every time I see one of these posts -- which seems like every other day -- my mind shows me a picture of all the other liquid products sold daily in similar bottles, like this or this. Who ever hears of chocolate milk or OJ bottles that split, or have mold under the cap? And there's a gazillion times as many of those bottles moving around the country.

One difference is, the shipping channels are different. Nesquick etc. go in large quantities, whole pallets probably, in big trucks to grocery wholesalers' warehouses. From there they go in wholesalers' trucks to grocery stores, handled by drivers who deliver only groceries.

Just the same, somehow I think Nesquick or Tropicana and other big liquid-food-makers have a better grasp of this. It would be fascinating to hear from somebody who actually knows food packaging and shipping.

u/squishybloo · 2 pointsr/xxketo

Use coconut oil, then. 120cal per tablespoon. Amazon

u/emmyhikes · 2 pointsr/Ultralight

I'm vegetarian and lactose intolerant (and working my way toward being vegan) and I was interested in this too. I only drink almond milk, and you can cook anything with it (even mashed potatoes) and they don't taste any different to me, so I feel like it might be a good option.

So it turns out that powdered almond milk is a thing! Looks intriguing and I feel like it could work for you.

You could also just use water

How is it only 1g carbs when the same product in a different container is 9g carbs per serving?

https://www.amazon.com/Chobani-Whole-Greek-Yogurt-Plain/dp/B004B3KMTQ/ref=sr_1_fkmr3_1?almBrandId=QW1hem9uIEZyZXNo&fpw=alm&keywords=chobani+greek+yogurt+squeeze&qid=1572643900&sr=8-1-fkmr3

Oh. Answered below by anbeav. It's 1/9 the serving size.

Also it's 9g "net" carbs. 9 - <1 = 9. When counting carbs round up for all non-whole carbs.

e: NEVER trust a website's claimed nutrition info. ONLY go off of the printed nutrition label from the store, or a picture of it. They can and do lie for websites. They can't on nutition labels. Though be careful of odd wording all around it too.

u/Alpha-Centauri · 2 pointsr/gainit

I usually grab my Greek yogurt from Costco (Kirkland brand) and was pleasantly surprised to find they now stock a Chobani full fat Greek yogurt.

Edit: This is the product at my Costco in San Diego (amazon link cuz it actually wasn't on Costco's website, so maybe it is just my Costco):

u/kdawgud · 2 pointsr/financialindependence

my pleasure. Here is the heirloom culture I use, btw. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002HPHR0W

But it's super simple just to use some store yogurt as a starter if you're buying some anyway.

u/Cdresden · 2 pointsr/food

You've just about got it. You're correct about real butter soaking the popcorn and making it soggy. However, I'd avoid Reddenbacher's oil in favor of a dedicated topping -- don't use one that serves double duty. Get one like this or this. This is actually better, because it's made from butter. You can make your own topping by making ghee.

For the popping oil, if you want the best, use coconut oil. There are butter-flavored coconut oil products like this, but even plain coconut oil from the supermarket is better than Reddenbacher oil.

When you're ready to become a popcorn wizard, step up to the popcorn hammer. :)

Soy blenders. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002FYJW8U

This is what most top notch places in Portland use.

u/Helios-6 · 1 pointr/soylent

> transparent or semi translucent package

I don't believe it's possible with soylent aseptic process. The bottles are multi-layer with oxygen barrier. Jasper products (Soylent's contract manufacturer). If Soylent went with the "Snowman" bottle it might fair better. Ribs help resist denting in thin bottles like this. /u/fernly's Nesquick example uses a ribbed bottle for this reason.

u/bwfnubie · 1 pointr/soylent

this one has a good macro: http://www.amazon.com/Now-Foods-Instant-Powder-20-Ounce/dp/B003J4M8HW
3.5g fat 3g carbs 6g protein per 14gram serving. Too bad it's expensive. $12.22 per 546gram. In here only $2.5 per 500 gram.

Most soy milk powder has nice carb/protein/fat macros if it only list soybean as the ingredient. So, no added sugar/Maltodextrin.

Mine has similar macros but cheaper since my country produce lots of soy. Local price for soybean is $1 per 1kg in here.

I thought it was the ConAgra cheese sticks. At least those are the ones I had over here in the south.

u/dearcleanthatup · 1 pointr/expats

I miss these babies. Burritos. Kellogg's frosted mini-wheats. Decent, inexpensive wine. Fabulous, reasonably-priced wine. Wild-caught salmon. Cheap beef. Rustic bread. Food co-ops. Popeye's Fried Chicken. Smoked pork shoulders. Bacon and eggs cooked just so. Soul food. Turkey. Pies. Decent hamburgers. Real Pizza. Cardini's Caesar Salad Dressing. Romaine lettuce. Triscuits. Well made flour tortillas. Cheap corn tortilla chips. Jalapeño peppers.
Edit: Oh yeah, gravy.

Yeah, I have 2 cups of coffee every day. My wife has me use Stevia packets in lieu of other sweeteners and I use sugar free vanilla creamer (the singles.. they have less than 1 carb per) so it's a delicious low-carb treat in the morning and afternoon.

Creamer and Stevia packets

u/Frapp_ee · 1 pointr/vegan

If you like chocolate milk, hemp chocolate milk is great and tastes amazing. As another Redditor mentioned, I too like to use different types for different things. My personal favorite is vanilla almond milk. I like to use coconut and cashew milk when I make savory dishes because, well, they both taste savory. I like banana milk with my cereal because I usually have fruity cereal. You can find a good list of pairings here. It honestly depends on you, as there are so many options out there. And, by the way, thank you for making the switch to veganism! 💪🏼

u/AngelicBabyGirl · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Ick being lactose free sucks, I know first hand!

I drink and cook with Silk soy milk (I get the red container because it is plain) and lactaid milks (the one in the blue container).

As far as butter and other products, Earth Balance is really good!

Hope this helped a little! :3
