I have a funny story somewhat related to this. Well, related at least in terms of "eating things that cause massive suffering later."

About five years ago when I was still married, I went through a six-month period of constant stomach pain and bowel upset. My wife bought me a pack of peppermint oil capsules that are supposed to help with your digestion and ease stomach upset.

They're tiny little things and I took five or six of them with dinner. I didn't notice any effect whatsoever. I mean, zero effect. Nada.

The next morning, as I'm sitting on the toilet, I suddenly notice the scent of peppermint, which quickly becomes the very strong scent of peppermint. For an instant I wondered "WTF?" before realizing what I was smelling...and then the burning started.

The burning quickly progressed to extreme anal discomfort which, after about ten seconds, ramped up to atomic ass-rape with a candy cane dildo.

I actually yelped like a kicked dog, jumped off the toilet and straight into the shower in one move, and sprayed cold water on my ass for about twenty minutes. The pain was eye-watering and my ass was sore for about a week. Those damned capsules didn't dissolve until right before they exited and the pure peppermint oil felt like a napalm enema.

(I can't even imagine the aftermath of a ghost pepper.)

Your certification is perfectly valid and welcome on dive boats provided the dive site falls inside your certification (ie, not too deep or technical, etc).

Some things to think about:

  • Seasickness - Even if you don't normally get motion sick you might get seasick, it happens. Get some bonine before you go. Take it easy on breakfast and stay hydrated! If you are feeling seasick there are a few things you can do, get to a place with airflow, watch the horizon, of if possible lie down flat (preferably close to the boat centerline). You will usually feel better once you start your dive, so usually its worth it to do the second/third dive of the day. If you are using a wetsuit, it can make the feeling worse when wearing it fully zipped up on the boat, so try and minimize the time you have it fully zipped up if you are feeling seasick.
  • Gear storage - unlike a shore dive, storage space is limited. I'd highly recommend a mesh bag something like this for example. It lets you transport all of your scuba related gear in something that takes a minimum of space. I'd also recommend a dry bag for things like your wallet, keys, cellphone (if not left in the car), dry clothes etc. There is dry space on the boat obviously but its at a premium usually (depends on boat size/configuration).
  • Getting ready to dive/exiting the boat - Unlike on your shore dive where you likely gradually entered the water, you will go from boat to water very quickly. The boat crew should make an announcement to start gearing up, that is your signal to get into your wetsuit and be ready to go. A couple of key things, MAKE SURE YOUR AIR IS TURNED ON, make sure you removed the bungee cord or similar type of restraint from your tank/1st stage prior to getting into it so you can actually stand up when you are ready. You will exit the boat either via rolling off or via a giant stride (just depends on the boat/crew/etc). Don't be anyone in this video. Regardless of how you enter before you leave the boat.. mask on, reg in mouth, air into your BCD (nothing crazy, but not an empty BCD either), put a hand to your mask to help keep it in place, look in the water BEFORE you start the exit to make sure no other divers are there (tank to the head would SUCK). Give the boat crew the okay dive sign. Follow the DM's instruction on how they want you to descent/group on the surface/etc.
  • Getting back on the boat - It all depends on how the boat is setup. There are little elevator setups, multiple different types of ladders, swim up platforms etc. What the crew wants you to do ahead of time should be explained very clearly. Personally if it is a fins off ladder, I ask if I can keep them on my wrists instead (through the fin straps) of handing them up, having had to do a swim with no fins it is no fun. Regardless of the platform, be very cautious of its rise/fall with the ocean. Once you are safely onboard, get out of the way of people just leaving, swap your gear over to the next tank as soon as you can. Keep drinking fluids to stay hydrated.
  • dive briefings - hopefully the crew does this at a point when you aren't gearing up etc. But pay attention! This isn't the time to be screwing with your gear, trying to put something on, etc. Your only job at that moment is paying attention
  • tank dust covers - Don't put them back on after you dive, they are normally used to distinguish full vs empty tanks.
  • questions - If you have any questions what so ever ask them! Questions on dry land are better than questions on the boat, questions on the boat are better then questions in the water at the surface, and questions at the surface are better than questions underwater.

Prune juice. Seriously, nothing like it and it’s not that bad tasting, really.

Or, if you would rather take something try Swiss Kriss tablets. Between these two things you’ll never have issues.

Price for both about 15 bucks.

Omg, I so relate. I'm terrified of vomiting and when I start to feel panicky, it's the first thing I freak out about! I'm so sorry to hear you're suffering so much. I think it's so important to reflect on why you are so scared of vomiting? As for me, I have Complex PTSD, BPD, and GAD. My anxiety is so hard to cope with, and I have trauma surrounding vomiting. I talked to my therapist about it and she's trying to help me realize that vomiting is a normal part of being a human. And that vomiting from a panic attack, illness, etc, is very far removed from the source of my trauma/fears surrounding nausea/vomiting. Pregnant women sometimes vomit every morning from morning sickness, people vomit if they feel nauseous from being on boats/planes/cars. Vomiting feels so horribly scary and miserable, and it feels like you've totally lost control!! But it will not kill you. It's discomfort, but you only ever have to experience that discomfort one moment at a time.

I've gone through spells of intense nausea for hours, with little to no emotional support, and I can tell you that it was hell on earth for me with my anxiety/panic problems. So I completely relate. hug

Aside from working it out in your head (why am I so scared of nausea/vomiting? how can I help myself remember that I won't die and it's a normal part of being human?), here are some other ideas that might help:

  • Chew anti-nausea gum
  • Use something like this http://www.amazon.com/Quease-Ease-Motion-Sickness-Instant/dp/B001P4C8N2#customerReviews
  • Maybe buy one of those anti-nausea wristbands
  • Maybe write down on a sheet of paper in pretty pens, that discomfort and nausea/vomiting are normal and okay and that you won't die, and that you'll be okay
  • Maybe get a stress ball or stuffed animal you can squeeze if you're feeling really scared of nausea
  • Please discuss all of this with a good psychologist if you haven't already, if you're able

When I get scared and nauseous, I tend to repeat things over and over, out loud, like "please help, help, help, help, help, I'm so scared, I'm so scared, oh my god, no, no, no, no." I relate to you so much and I feel for you so much. Please feel free to PM me if you wanna talk about it more.

Edit: Wanted to add that when I'm really nauseous, pacing the floor or walking outside helps. Sometimes just changing the environment can help a little and moving your body, can help.

First, was the ginger candy high in ginger and specifically for nausea? Get some good ginger gum and take it if you feel sick. Dizzy is one thing. Sick is another. The dizziness is partly you acclimating to it. Keep the confort settings on. Try each day - at least for a a few minutes. https://www.amazon.com/Ginger-Anti-Nausea-pieces-1-35-each/dp/B000K7B5FC

> Same for amylase, where can I get that?

The easiest (not cheapest) way is probably using Beano capsules. I pressure-cooked some sweet meal animal feed to make a gruel and then added a Beano capsule. Went from thick paste to watery gruel. The enzymes are heat sensitive.

It was an experiment to make a molasses porter, with some large part of the grain bill coming from the feed store.

Homebrew supplies sometimes have them in bulk. Also places that cater to distillers but you're treading a legality line here. I've heard that people who were buying sugar in bulk for a zombie apocalypses being assumed to be making moonshine. Just don't pick up a hundred pounds of yeast and some copper line, OK?

Malt syrup from homebrew stores is often labeled "Diastatic", which should mean that the enzymes are still present and could break down other items with the remaining enzymes. This starts going down the rabbit hole of homebrewing beer, and here it's common to use malted grain (with the enzymes from the malting process) to breakdown either roasted malted grain or unmalted grain. Again, too much heat deactivates or breaks down the enzymes.

If you're using a starch and expect to break it down using one process or another, you need to cook it to beyond it's "gelatinous" point first, and then usually lower the heat so it doesn't kill the enzymes, then add your malt, or syrup or enzymes. Heat speeds up the enzymes but too much kills 'em.

The exception to reaching the "gelatinous" point is to buy the stuff that has already been processed. In the "all grain" homebrew beer culture this means instant oats or instant rice off the grocery store shelf, or specialty stuff like processed rolled rye flakes (essentially instant oatmeal made with rye instead of oats)

one more thing, I'll leave it to you to discover how the Sumerian got their enzymes to brew beer with. They used last year's starvation food (food safety net) to brew beer. If your chemistry teacher ever did a demo with a saltine cracker and an iodine test for sugar, it's about the same thing.

This ran kinda long so let me cc: u/CodyDon because he might have some interest.

Having a bit of poop present is quite normal. If it concerns you or your partner, you can clean out. There are lots of ways to clean the colon before sex. Here's a good solution. Of course, there are many other ways to clean out such as a simple enema bag. Some prefer disposable products such as Fleet Enemas.

Hmm, have you tried taking salt pills in addition to drinking more water?

u/notthatbigbrother · 2 pointsr/AnalFissures

I am not a doctor, just a patient.

Stay hydrated. Figure out why you are straining and start making changes to your diet as soon as possible. Not enough fiber? Get some psyllium husk tablets. Hard stool? Colace(stool softener) I recommend both. It is extremely important to stay hydrated. Dehydration while on any of those will make bowel movements worse. Try to take a shower after every bowel movement, but avoid soap. You do not want to make the same mistake as me and let your skin dry out. If you do use soap I recommend vaseline or a&d ointment after a wash. Cold water may feel relaxing and numb the pain, but remember to do warm water sitz baths as well. The key to healing is increasing blood flow. The blood flow is low in the rectum so healing can take quite some time. Despite how much blood you might see after a bowel movement. Applying heat will increase blood flow. Unfortunately for you the pain from the fissure comes from your sphincter spasming and it will be hard to stop that without prescription medication. You might have some success with lidocaine, but that can be costly(see Dr. Butlers cream). Over the counter pain medicine will help as well. Avoid opioids(can cause constipation). True pain relief comes with the nitroglycerin ointment. Which also increases blood flow to the area and relaxes the muscle. Yes get the baby wipes, but I would avoid the neosporin and get the dr. butlers cream while you wait for an appointment to get the nitroglycerin. I highly recommend getting the nitro. Also look into lifting your legs while on the toilet into a squatting position. Don't wait on getting treatment for this. Although not life threatening if you wait and it gets worse you will regret it, trust me. Make an appointment to see a doctor/specialist if you can afford it. Maybe look into fasting for a day or two, or even intermittent fasting. Give your fissure some time to start healing before irritating it again with another bowel movement. You can't stop pooping, but you can limit how much you do it. If you do fast do some research on keeping your electrolytes in check. Like I said you do not want to become dehydrated. Good luck and stay hydrated!

I'm 6'5", 250lbs, and I've been running or lifting just about every day. I drink most of the 2000 calorie container each day, but I require about 3000-3500 calories for my body size, so I eat a meal and snack on top of that. My BM frequency increased quite a bit after starting Soylent 1.0. I went from once a day to 3, maybe 4 times a day, and now it's settled back down to two on average. I don't think the overall amount is much different though. Probably less, if anything. I've been adding whey protein, PB2, and assorted fruits to make smoothies for about half of my Soylent meals.

As far as the gas goes, I believe they're essentially adding Beano to 1.1, so perhaps you could pick up some to tide you over. My gas issues subsided after the first week, although I'm still above my baseline. Not really much different than when I eat oatmeal though.

I don't think that your eCigs or vaping habits would be responsible. Although, it's possible that munchies could get your bowel moving a bit because you're feeling hungry, even if you're not eating anything due to them.

Drinking Soylent slowly seems to help a lot, but I recommend getting something for the gas if it's not getting better. Perhaps cutting back on your Soylent intake just a bit would make things more tolerable. 1 "real" meal a day seems to be working well for me.

This has been a lifesaver for me, my anxiety and panic cause nausea almost daily.

A “serving size” of the gum is two pieces, but I find half a piece is enough to calm my insides while giving me the chewing motion to focus on, almost like meditation.

Good luck, I hope you are able to break the cycle soon!

u/BigBlackHawks · 2 pointsr/pregnant

Have you tried Colace?

u/Id1otbox · 2 pointsr/ketogains

Are you making a conscious effort to increase sodium? I drink salt water when I lift and I feel weaker without it. I dissolve one of these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0091T8UFS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_T2faBbKYM65HK in my workout bottle. Give it a try. You also may need to keto adapt more. It may just take a little while for your lifting to get into a groove. Every ketogainer squats no problem, you can get there too. It's not the diet or "glycogen". You have plenty of glycogen.

u/Saipher · 2 pointsr/Vive

As many others have stated, for most it gets better over time. One thing I haven't seen mentioned is motion sickness wristbands. I've suffered from motion sickness in certain flat screen games so when I got into VR I was ready for it. Something simple like this (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076MSCX16/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) worked wonders for me in the past. It doesn't eliminate the sensation entirely but certainly reduces the symptoms, including the feeling of being sick afterwards. I will warn you though, as soon as you notice yourself feeling sick, dizzy, or "off" in any other way and you're wearing those, stop playing and take a break. Powering through with those on is definitely worse than powering through without them in my experience. They have allowed me to ignore the symptoms much longer than I should.

A recent example is Blade and Sorcery. That game uses locomotion and it was making me sick again. I started using the wristbands to alleviate the symptoms and at this point I don't wear them in that game unless I plan on playing for more than an hour. Last night I ended up playing for about an hour and a half and forgot to put them on but I was fine.

I ate plain carbs like bagels with dark, caffeine free soda like root beer. That’s what my child got nutrients from for about the first trimester and about half of the second trimester. If i ate those things, i felt fine and could function normally. I also got this thing filled with essential oils that you smell that really helped nausea. I kept it in my car if too much time lapses between my carb/soda meals lol

u/[deleted] · 2 pointsr/BipolarReddit

Oh my god, are you like my long lost sibling or something? I literally got on BipolarReddit to ask a question about head buzzing and saw your post. Like you, I've try two SSRI's and a Trycyclic because I need something for anxiety besides benzo's. I really have to limit myself on taking Xanax or it stops working and I'm not going on that route again increasing it. I have insane IBS and not much seems to help. Anyways, I just stopped taking Celexa about a week and a half ago because it was making me clench my jaw and giving me tension headaches. It was also making me rapid cycle and I've been rapid cycling since coming off the medicine. Yesterday and today I've been getting this "buzz" feeling in my head, almost like I'm high or something. It's euphoric and comes in waves, but it gets very annoying when it doesn't stop. I was gonna ask if I'm just getting this because my body is readjusting after stopping the Celexa.

I'm getting hella frustrated because I've tried numerous medications. I was on Lamictal for a while, but it made me have the same feelings of slowness and clumsiness you are describing. That and I went hypomanic and was 100% certain that I was fine and didn't need medication at all. Lamictal also made it hard to recall simple things. It would take me like a minute of struggling to remember someone's name that normally wouldn't be a problem.

I do have some tips for you though.
First of all IBS.
Watch what you eat and learn your trigger foods, it took me like 3 years to figure mine out. Some of my main perpetrators are sesame seeds, peppers or anything spicy, lettuce, and fruits with seeds. Also, drinking pop in the morning will guaranteed set off my IBS, but if I have a pop at lunch I'm fine. Sadly, most "healthy green foods" just so happen to be triggers for IBS. To get around this, you kinda have to pick and choose the vegetables you eat, or eat them at the end of a meal. Green beans never give me problems, so I've grown to love them. If you like salad, make sure to chew it really well and eat it after something like bread or some kind of meat like chicken. Avoid sesame seeds at all costs, I've gotten used to getting burgers without a bun and eating with a fork, or you can request to have two bottom buns on your burger and most fast food places will accommodate.

There are a few OTC things you can try that might help. First, probiotics are a miracle. This will probably be your new best friend: http://www.amazon.com/Natures-Bounty-Probiotic-Acidophilus-Capsules/dp/B001G7QRZS This is a 4 pack, which is more than an entire year's worth. They're chewable and taste like strawberry, I just eat one in the morning before breakfast. If you don't like strawberry, there are plenty of probiotics out there in pill form. Just look for "acidophilus", and you want to get one with at least a billion organisms per serving.

This won't entirely fix IBS because it never truly goes away, but I would say 75% of my IBS problems have gone away because of it. If you have cramping problems, I've found that peppermint oil capsules can help a lot with that. If I know I'm gonna be eating a heavy meal or if I have class or a meeting where I don't want to have an IBS attack, I'll take peppermint in the morning. It gets rid of the cramping and the urgency in case you do have an attack so you'll have 30ish minutes to get to a bathroom and be fine. http://www.amazon.com/Heathers-Tummy-Tamers-Peppermint-Capsules-180ct/dp/B00149WZMW/ref=sr_1_2?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1314220671&sr=1-2 is about a years supply also if you want to give that a try. If you do try peppermint, you ABSOLUTELY have to take it on an empty stomach and not eat for about 30 minutes. If you don't, the capsule breaks in your stomach and you burp peppermint for an hour. I just take it right when I wake up with just a tiny bit of water. Then I take a shower, get ready, and by the time I eat breakfast enough time has passed.

K, now back to bipolar disorder. Have you ever tried Wellbutrin? It's an NDRI and has nothing to do with seretonin. I think seretonin is just plain bad news for anyone with bipolar disorder, at least in my experience. It's an antidepressant, but also a very mild off label adhd medicine, so it can get rid of the fuzziness and forgetfullness of lamictal. I've had no side effects whatsoever with it. Also, how do you feel about atypical antipsychotics? All the side effects scare me a lot, but I'm tempted to try one because nothing else is working. That and it would probably be good to have Seroquel knock me out at night so I don't stay up hyper until 4am all the time. You very well could be having problems with ADHD if you have attention problems. I got tested and it came back inconclusive, but my psychiatrist is gonna do a trial with me on dexedrine to see if that will lift me out of the depression and help me focus. Especially considering that Wellbutrin works slightly for me, she thinks that medicine that works on Dopamine and Norepinephrine will help me out better. I'm not currently on Lamictal because of the fuzzyness and focusing issues, but at my next meeting, I'm gonna start back up with it since I will be starting dexedrine.

Anyways, sorry about the wall of text and if it's jumbled. The euphoric waves are making spastic and I think I've been slightly hypomanic the last few days. Let me know if you find something that works, we sound a lot alike.

I also noticed that you've only been on Lamictal for 4 weeks. The fuzziness subsided a little around week 6 for me and I was on 200mg, but it still was there. Maybe Wellbutrin would be a good addition for you.

I am not a doctor, but I do have a doctor's clearance to take one of these pills every night and to take a dose of this twice a day. My gastroenterologist said that I could continue on this regimen indefinitely if necessary with no ill effects, so unless you have IBS or other complicating conditions you might want to try it as well.

you can prevent it by cooking them yourself. The two ways of dealing with oligosaccharides are

  1. Soaking the beans in water for several hours before cooking. 9 to 10 hours is best

  2. Cooking the beans in an alkaline solution. This is why grandma always add baking soda when she cooked beans, made the solution more alkaline

I add 1/2 to 3/4 tsp salt to my scrambled eggs along with a 1/4 tsp of No Salt. Hot sauce like Frank’s also has a decent amount if you like that. That gives a good bump at the start of the day and I usually end at about 5000 mg. Congrats on the news!! I'm also a FTM at 16 weeks, so sharing from my perspective of feeling like I STILL know so little, even as little one grows.

  1. Waiting for the 8 week appointment feels like a long haul, but it'll go by quickly. It is possible to have a miscarriage at any point in your pregnancy, but the most likely time is in the 1st trimester (up to week 13), and then your chances drop to less than 5% or so. So to answer your question, yes you could potentially miscarry before your appointment, as well as after. I've heard that you'll have bleeding and/or cramping during a miscarriage. If you experience either of these and are uncertain, call your OB's office and let them know what's going on. As tempting as it is, I recommend staying off Google for any weird feelings in your body. I had some pain that felt like period cramps and my hips ached for a few weeks, but I had to remind myself that my body was literally stretching and pushing itself to prep for baby. I rested a lot during the first several weeks and used a heating pad to alleviate some of the pain.
  2. Some women request pat downs at the airport as opposed to the x-ray screening. I went through the scanner when I traveled weeks 6-7 and was comfortable doing so. Depending on how long your flight is, if you'll be in the car a long time, etc., MAKE SURE TO TAKE FREQUENT BREAKS! Get up, walk around, stretch your legs. Pregnant women are more susceptible to blood clots, so take extra caution and be prepared. You can also use compression socks. Other tips just include stay hydrated and rest if you are feeling tired. Traveling was hard on me during those weeks because I had just gotten morning sickness before I left, which left me feeling so sickly and tired all the time. I used sea bands and they were a lifesaver for how much I was in the car. Baby did just fine! (I bought these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076MSCX16/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 )
  3. Nausea hit me middle of week 5 and lasted through week 13. Never vomited, but sometimes I wish I had (hoping it would make me feel better). I kept saltine crackers on me for when I felt queasy. The sea bands also helped once I had them - basically wore them from the time I drove to work (around 7:30) to before I took my evening shower and went to bed. Not sure if you're supposed to wear them for 12 hours, but I honestly couldn't function without them. The key for me was to continually eat small (non-offensive) snacks throughout the day, and eat as soon as I woke up. Big meals made me feel yucky, not eating for long stretches of time made me feel yucky, and sometimes I just felt yucky no matter what I tried. At night, I used a diffuser with mint essential oil, which is supposed to help with nausea. I really enjoyed having that on every night until the nausea slowly eased up later in the 1st trimester.
    1. As for your question about it being something you could hide, there were some days I didn't feel I hid it well from coworkers. I would just tell them I wasn't feeling well, wasn't sure if it was a stomach bug, felt under the weather, etc. My husband obviously knew so I can't speak to someone I live with not knowing. I didn't share with anyone until I felt comfortable after week 8 when we saw baby for the first time.
  4. My general advice is to trust your body. Rest when you need to. Worry less and focus on loving your baby even more. I started a journal after I found out I was pregnant (week 5), and I've enjoyed writing down any weird symptoms, cravings, results from OB checkups, general mood, aspirations for baby, potential baby names, etc. I also joined a prenatal yoga class, which has been great to keep me active (at least once a week) in a way that's beneficial to my body and my baby.

Sending you lots of hugs and congrats for your sweet baby. Enjoy every single moment of pregnancy :)

Works every time for me. To be quite fair, it's not a nice experience but cleans the system out (which isn't a bad thing every once in a while), the sex won't be messy and one has a flatter tummy after that = sexy time success

Queen Lily is the best!

I really want this OTC medication. It's free shipping and no tax if you choose a third-party seller :)

Where have you been all my life, Chris?

Try Heather’s Tummy Tamers. They’re all natural peppermint, fennel, and ginger pills made specifically for IBS. You can get them at CVS or buy them on amazon. People swear by them, and i just bought them for my fiancé and he has had a ton of relief already.

here’s the link to amazon.

Anything on the net, is safe to assume to be compromised. Depending on how long it has been out there and how important it is perceived to be.

The FBI has and will continue to do so.

I am not a conspiracy whack job if I can file multiple police reports with measurable assault of my being.

I don’t think everyone is of interest. There are criteria one has to fulfill. Loners, druggies, odd balls, socially awkward or inept persons, charismatic or influential outspoken types, all fall into a ripe category for torment.

It is not conspiracy when there are people coming forward. It is not a conspiracy when there is evidence. It is not a conspiracy when there are attacks in Cuba. It is not a conspiracy when there are schematics can be used to make such implements. It is not a conspiracy when there does not exist legislation for sadist devices that can be bought for as little as $40 by anyone.

Prelief is an OTC antacid. For whatever reason, it seems to help a lot of people. The top review on Amazon is by someone who uses it for GERD, actually.

And no, I'm not trying to sell it or something. :) Just thought it might help you.

Have you tried any meds? Uribel works really well to minimize my pain, but some people have insurance problems with it. And I take Prelief when I "cheat" on my diet. It's a supplement but was strongly recommended by my urologist, and I've had good luck with it.

Also, if you eventually want to try coffee again... It's way less acidic if you cold brew it. You can heat it up after if you want. :)

It may also help his mental state to relax more if he cleans himself out thoroughly beforehand - I can't speak for him but as a bottom myself I know I definitely find it much easier to relax when I know, not hope, but know, that there won't be any accidents lol.

My pre-play routine usually involves not eating any solid foods that day and then doing one of those enemas at least an hour before playtime (they seem to be good for about 4 hours after).

I say at least an hour because both your body and mind need some time to recover. If he does one of these to prepare, make sure he hydrates once you're done playing.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Bonine

When my wife had our son I was throwing up a lot, the nurses were more focused on me than my wife. One of them gave me one of these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001P4C8N2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_tabWCbN7YHFYG

sometimes this is exacerbated by iron in your prenatal so i would check with your dr if you can try a non iron.

  • hydrate tons including with warm liquids (tea, lemon water, brothy soups)
  • Swiss Kriss Herbal Laxative worked for me when nothing else would (i tried metamucil & other suggetions from dr)
  • put your feet on a stool (look up poop stool). I use my son's step stool for the sink.
  • don't strain or you might get ever worse problems

    good luck!

So uh, I know most people wouldn't consider this a practical solution, but these work really well in a short amount of time. You're basically cleaning from the inside out, so there's virtually nothing left to wipe. I replace the solution with tap water because otherwise it acts as a laxative and end up cleaning out the entire house rather than what's just behind the threshold.
