Since everyone has been asking here's a list of everything.

No, they typically peel and look like crap because of the cheap materials they are made with. Everyone I know that owns one from different companies regrets their purchase. Keep an eye out for decent ergonomic chairs at staples.

This one is a really good option at a reasonable price.

I also have this one and I love it.

u/antiquehats · 8 pointsr/LifeProTips

This is actually the best way for that angle... NOT the diagram in the other link

Haven't seen saddle stools mentioned in here yet. I'm anti- chair and I sit or squat on the floor but my dentist uses one of these and says it has helped her a lot. I have yet to do my own research but I want to make you aware of your options. http://www.amazon.com/Ergonomic-Chair-BetterPosture-Saddle-F1465-BK/dp/B003BWS8GC

I think it's this one or one close to it.

If you like the Eames Louge Chair style, but don't want to spend a fortune, Amazon has a few cheap options available on. The one I got was from Flash Furniture & seems to be holding up well so far..

u/Jigglethatjelly · 3 pointsr/malelivingspace

Get some bins. They sell them at target. Hide most the clutter in there. The stuff you want to keep displayed is art, plants, a cool clock, books.

Your rug is gray and your bed spread is a darker grey. It kinda makes the space look dingy and darker than it needs to be. Get a white or mostly white patterned cover. Then you can get some colored pillows and throw - navy or green would be great. There are so many options at Homegoods for inexpensive sets of pillows and blankets.

I would also invest in a bed frame. I think an iron, industrial style bed frame would work. Or conversely think about texture - maybe a wood with a substantial headboard. Or a light brown leather bed frame. Here is a video that shows different style of bedframes Some of those examples are a little girly, but you get the point. You can easily find bedframes under $200, you just need to know what kind of style you are attracted to.

Also the desk? There are a ton of free or nearly free desk on craigslist all the time. Look for something with good bones and then treat it with paint. If you have some money look at places like Bob's furniture. There is usually a discount section in the back. I just bought a sexy industrial desk with a huge solid wood top for $100. Desk Chair? Looks at that. Color - sexy right? I have a thing for mid-century design

Lasty consider some art. You can find great prints on society6. Or a cheaper an larger option is a tapestry - urbanoutfitters has some cool ones as well.

I really like this one because its cheap and not very comfortable.

For anyone who likes the idea of airflow under your booty but doesnt want to spend the money on this. (or a racing style)

Look into basic office chairs with mesh. I have one like this.

They are far, far cheaper and the open mesh is a godsend for sweaty backs and booties.

u/FruitbatNT · 2 pointsr/DIY

Yep, it's going to need to be a mechanical solution. I seriously doubt any adhesive is going to work.

If you can find a exhaust clamp that fits, that would probably work.

Or, measure the size of the hole (or what it should be on an undamaged chair), and grab a replacement base. It probably won't match 100%, but still better than replacing the whole chair.

u/Deadmanlying · 2 pointsr/pcmasterrace
u/storm_bow · 2 pointsr/buildapc

I'm on a budget but need a new chair, is this any good?

u/JedNascar · 2 pointsr/FindItOnAmazon

I had a chair like this one for a long time and I loved it.

It doesn't recline in the sense that you pull a lever and it leans back, but it moves with you when you lean back a bit. The price on this one used to be a lot higher, so if you like it I'd grab it now-ish just in case it goes back up.

As for the computer desk: I'd actually recommend buying one at a physical store. Any desk that's sturdy enough to compete with a big old heavy desk is going to either cost a fortune to ship or just won't be available on Amazon. Ikea or other similar furniture stores are your best bet.

u/Jaripsi · 2 pointsr/Games

get one of these. They keep your posture upright naturally so i doesnt feel like you need to force yourself to keep a good posture all the time. It is suprisingly comfortable aswell. I mean its not as comfortable as a couch, but its more comfortable than a bar chair.

u/Shane1200 · 2 pointsr/Twitch

I have this chair and love it. I went to a few stores and tried a lot of chairs before choosing this one. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0116W5B5O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_lZh6BbP94JRNA

u/NonaHexa · 2 pointsr/pcmasterrace

Just a quick note:

I've posted my build before, specifically the PC itself. As I mentioned last time, I am aware that having the computer on the floor is not ideal. I've turned the power supply upwards, and there is a small pane of glass beneath it. I don't have the room for much more right now, but things seem to be fine.

The hardware:

  • DEEPCOOL NEW Ark 90 Case
  • EVGA X99 FTW K Motherboard
  • Intel i7-5820k CPU
  • Corsair LPX DDR4 2800mhz RAM (4x4gb)
  • ZOTAC GTX 1080 Ti Mini (Ordered a 1080, received a 1080 Ti!)
  • Samsung 960 EVO 250GB NVME
  • 2x WD Blue 1TB / 1x WD Blue 2TB
  • Corsair RM750 PSU

    The peripherals:

  • Mackie CR4 Monitor Set
  • Logitech G Pro Wireless Mouse
  • Logitech G810 Keyboard
  • Acer XG270HUA Monitor (144hz 1440p IPS)
  • Blue Compass Mic Arm
  • Focusrite Scarlett Solo 2nd Gen Mic Interface
  • MXL 770 Condenser Mic
  • WD MyBook 2TB eHDD

This is the chair I am using.

    What do you guys think?
u/JonStarkaryen998 · 2 pointsr/battlestations

Boom I’ve had it for two years and would recommend it. Had to remove the arms to scoot closer to my desk though

u/truenoise · 2 pointsr/DesignMyRoom

M "L" shaped desk is essentially two of these desks set up at 90 degree angles to one another:

http://www.potterybarn.com/products/logan-desk/?pkey=call-home-office&&call-home-office

My chair is this:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005SFZ32W/

I also use a blackboard with chalk markers for family stuff. Right now it has a bunch of cartoons and a list of what everyone wanted to eat for Thanksgiving. It usually has a weekly list of who is cooking what and when.

u/Hyzer__Soze · 2 pointsr/buildapcsales

Nah, that's not stupid at all. You've got a preference and there's nothing wrong with sticking to it. Besides, you did end up with a more reasonable setup. The Kingpin is a "money is no object" card in my opinion, where you're paying a premium for diminishing returns. The price difference between the two packages is pretty darn wide. Wide enough to buy a 1TB NVME, an oustanding keyboard with money to spare, high-end headphones, or a quality office chair (though the Mirra is what I'd recommend).

Kinda puts the price difference into perspective, doesn't it? Besides, if the next gen drops in the next 90 days you can still take advantage of their step-up program.

u/SgtTrulyOdd · 2 pointsr/pcmasterrace

I would say around 90 to 100 is my ABSOLUTE Max. And my current chair is just a standard like $20 desk chair from Amazon. Let me see if I can find the link.

They can be comfortable but "gaming"/racing chairs aren't shaped for comfort, they are shaped for racing in actual cars where you need the seat to hold on to you so you don't slide around when cornering. Not a problem for gaming since you aren't being thrown side to side. It is one of the worse trends to ever happen in the PC gaming market.

https://www.amazon.com/Boy-Delano-Executive-Bonded-Leather/dp/B0116W5B5O

Not the prettiest but boy is it comfortable. Sat in one before and it was the the comfiest thing I have sat in my whole life.

One is 1440P ultra wide which is not cheap to get. Its a high end monitor. The good stuff costs good money. It is 21:9 instead of 16:9. It is life changing for gaming. You can easily have two things open on it without it feeling cramped or possibly spend a extra ~$150 for another matching 1080P monitor.

That is VRAM, it has nothing to do with performance. Correlation is not causation. The GTX 1080 Ti is decent amount more powerful but you said you weren't crazy about graphics and honestly a GTX 1080 should do fine in the latest games at or near max settings and hit ~60FPS at 1440P ultrawide.

I'll update you with a build in a few but the ryzen build above is pretty standard though I would make some changes. How many mouse buttons do you like to use in wow? And do you want a headset with a built in mic?

u/vepel8 · 1 pointr/india

Not from pepperfry but I have bought study/office chair from amazon. this one (I probably got it for ~7k after discount/deal).

Recently I bought 2 chairs from local wholesale manufacturer. It's very similar to green soul. I got it for 4400₹/ chair after bargaining. Only problem with these chairs is sweating. For that you can go for mesh version.

In my opinion gaming chairs also provides very good comfort. ergo/gaming chair But prices are high and unless you are spending long hours on chair, you don't need to spend that much money. Gaming chairs from circle are also good.

Make sure you pick the Silver/Grey option.

Reviews point to it being pretty bad if you weigh around 200lb and up so I wouldn't get this if you are.

Might even be worth getting a saddle chair to make the experience even more engrossing. (https://www.amazon.com/BetterPosture-Multifunctional-Ergonomic-Posture-Tilting/dp/B003BWS8GC)

At least if you can find something a bit on the cheap.

Now we just need tracking on stuff like that for VR. During the conversation at the first black smith you meet up with I pulled up my chair IRL and sat down for the chat around the table. Really nice both to sit down for a while and for immersion.

Not really, We can get some decent chairs with around $400 - $500 . I personally like this Chair. It gives same comfort with half price compare to Herman Miller Aeron

u/notaneggspert · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

Can anyone recommend a small $50-100 office/desk chair preferably mesh with no/removable arms.

There's a few on amazon. Basic Low back mesh, Mid back, VIVA OFFICE Mid Back Mesh. Not sure if there's any hidden gems out there. Don't know anything about the office chair game.

I recently graduated law school and built a home office setup for around $600 (my law firm has a good work from home policy). Details below:

Desk - DlandHome L-Shaped Desk - $130

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0798JW7FD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The L-shaped desk contains plenty of space for my dual monitor setup and has plenty of extra space on the sides. It was very easy to assemble (unlike some IKEA desks) and ships in a manageable flat box. I keep it in the corner of my room and it is very sturdy and doesn't shake.

Chair - AmazonBasics Office Chair -$50

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01D7P5BFS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Cheap and comfortable.

Monitors - 2x HP 23.8 in Monitors - 2x $110

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072M34RQC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

These can rotate both horizontally and vertically, which makes them perfect for work. Also VESA compatible. The quality of these are pretty good, but I only use them for word processing and web browsing. Not sure how good they are for movies or gaming.

Laptop Dock - Dell Universal Dock - $130

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071YTQBXM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Compatible with any laptop with a USB-C port. It charges the laptop as well while plugged in. It works with my work laptop without installing any additional drivers. Supports 2x DP and 1x HDMI. You might need to buy additional DisplayPort to HDMI cables depending on the monitors you use.

Accessories

Logitech K840 Mechanical Keyboard - $60

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071VHYZ62/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Anker Wireless Charger - $15

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DBXZZN3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

If anyone requests, I can upload a picture when I get home tonight. Also feel free to ask any questions.

Preach it!

I tried out the DX Racer chairs, and I hated them. I enjoyed the high back, so I could rest my head up against it...but it made my ass hurt something fierce. So I got a seat cushion for my brand new chair, to make it more comfortable....it didn't work at all.
So I returned it, and got a La-Z Boy executive office chair, and it's literally the most comfortable chair I have ever sat in. I even got myself one for work! If you are in the market for a new chair, this is the one I picked up.

I'm one of the "nerds with tendonitis" this article speaks of. It comes and goes, but I struggle with it during long sessions. I know I need to play less(especially when I work at a desk most of the day, as well), but I am trying to come up with a better set up to alieviate it as much as I can.

u/KingoftheStream · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

I havent tried one of those racer-type chairs. I use this bad boy (bought it from Costco for cheaper)! https://www.amazon.com/Z-Boy-Delano-Executive-Bonded-Leather/dp/B0116W5B5O/

u/Pegguins · -6 pointsr/DotA2

That chair there is about a $350-400 chair. You can get a really top quality office chair for about $500 easily this one for isntance and almost definitely cheaper if you look around for a used or wait for a sale. And the difference is that if you get one thats been used for a year and a half, it wont be trashed. Hell, even ikea have better chairs than those racer shits like this thing i used while writing my PhD dissertation and was actually really good.
