(Part 2) Best mechanical pencils according to redditors
We found 1,069 Reddit comments discussing the best mechanical pencils. We ranked the 386 resulting products by number of redditors who mentioned them. Here are the products ranked 21-40. You can also go back to the previous section.
I'll interpret "guy stuff" as "EDC stuff".
Bonus item: This isn't under $30, but $45 wil buy you a Leatherman Skeletool, which is one of the most universally useful items I own.
Edit: "EDC" stands for Every Day Carry. To paraphrase the /r/EDC sidebar, EDC means the essentials that I carry a daily basis. Things that I either use every day, or want to have with me in case I might need them. Sorry for the confusion, /u/ForgottenEcho and /u/Sanctitas.
>using pleb tier mechanical pencils
Absolutely not me_irl... If you wish to be a patrician weeb student, you have to get some dope ass pentel drafting pencils.
This one has retractable tip, but it is heavy

This one does not have retractable tip, but it is light and high quality.

All are cheaper than 10 bucks, no excuse not to buy one.
Pentel Graphgear 500 mechanical pencil for $7
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0006OM2RE?vs=1
These things are great. I use a pencil a lot, and this is definitely BIFL if you don't abuse it. The tip is sharp metal and if you drop it on the tip I suppose it could bend and then be useless, but definitely good build quality.
I have had one for about 3 years now, and last year I bought a spare in case I break/lose/forget one. I use the blue 7mm model but I guess that's really user preference.
They have a 1000 model with a retractable tip, but the design is much less sturdy in the middle of the pen and it snapped in my pocket after about a week.
Edited to include price
I have never known a mechanical engineer who did not appreciate a good mechanical pencil Pentel Graphgear 1000 set.
Just buy a mechanical pencil and 40 refills for a grand total of £6.12

EDIT:
I am assuming your calculations are for HB pencils, you can easily reduce the number of pencils used by opting for a slightly harder lead like 2H. It is not as smooth to write with as a soft B or 2B but will definitely last much longer.
EDIT 2:
Woodcase pencils are less efficient because sharpening also reduces the amount of writing graphite. Sharpening is not necessary for mechanical pencils.
EDIT 3:
Ammendment to EDIT 2: 2mm Lead Clutch pencils are technically mechanical pencils and do require sharpening. I should have clarified I was referring to the standard sizes of 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 0.9 (mm) mechanical pencils.
EDIT 4:
I only included links to Pentel pencil and lead, I am not shilling for Pentel. Other brands are available.
Pentel Graphgear 1000
rOtring 600 is the only pencil I use. I use it outdoors a lot for my major (AEPS) and it's metal so it is quite durable.
Or you could do what I do... Order a rOtring 500 (with the metal tip and plastic body) for less money, then cannibalize it for parts. Great for erasers, tips, and even lead tubes.

Sorry to hear that :(
Wing Sung 698 is pretty similar to TWSBI Eco, somehow even but cheaper. The cap is way heavier and does not post, not sure if that matters to you.
For pencil: I just got the Zebra DelGuard, which the Pen Addict guys liked. I have a problem with breaking .5mm so hopefully this'll help me.

They make pencils with spring-loaded lead, which makes the lead much less likely to break.
I'm partial to Alvins, but I've seen similar designs from other companies.
Exactly what I was going to suggest. Here is the link the amazon page of the 0.9 variety.
Thanks!
Edit: .7mm also $15

I'd love to hear what other folks are using. Ideally, I'd like a case that can fit a total of 16-20 fountain pens, but hopefully with a smaller footprint. The 96-slot Global Art Leather Pencil Case is almost perfect... but they changed their design since I bought mine and they now have only one loop per slot instead of two. (I utilize both loops for smaller things, like pencil leads, wax stamps, etc.)
My current case contains the following items, but as you can see I'm just about out of room!
---
Side A: Pencils
---
---
Side B: Fountain Pens
---
I would consider the pentel twist erase iii since it has a grip, large eraser and comes in 0.9 mm. It is also super affordable and frankly, nearly all pentel pencils have solid mechanisms. Weakest point of the pencil is the clip, but it is fine with normal use. http://www.amazon.com/Pentel-Twist-Erase-Automatic-Assorted-QE519BP2-K6/dp/B0047CP6SI
I will say though that if you are having trouble with lead breakage you should try one of pentel's or pilot's higher quality leads - something like this - http://www.amazon.com/Pentel-Stein-Mechanical-Pencil-C279-2B/dp/B004NNM5LC?th=1&psc=1
I linked a slightly harder lead than the standard HB lead (a.k.a. #2) which will also give you some strength.
More expensive than this offer on Amazon and you gotta wait who knows how long. Shipping can make or break a Massdrop deal, too.
https://www.amazon.com/rOtring-0-5mm-Mechanical-Pencil-502505N/dp/B00C1YNBQS
Massdrop is only good for really weird stuff, like mechanical keyboards and caps that require a group buy because they rarely get produced.
So I think the problem here is a divide in what 3D printing is good for and what people are postulating it will be good for.
Let's consider your example of a mechanical pencil.
I can buy a 24 pack of fairly high quality mechanical pencils for $6.58 or around 30 cents a piece.
This is because mechanical pencils are very high volume products. Even with these decades-old non-3D printed methods of manufacturing (injection molding, metal rolling, etc) that require tons of startup costs such as cutting molds and other tooling fees, we can still make millions of plastic pencils for 40 cents a piece. If you want to tack on shipping or "drive to the store" fees, let's call it 40 cents a piece.
How could 3D printing possibly improve on that? It really can't. Any attempt to mass produce mechanical pencils with a machine not specifically designed for making mechanical pencils will necessarily make it less efficient or at the very best just as efficient. So why would we make an incredibly sophisticated 3D printing machine and bog it down with the menial task of producing pencils that we can already fab by the truckload using conventional methods?
Now let's say you're a construction foreman who lost part of his hand in a construction accident and are having trouble writing on your clipboard using a normal mechanical pencil. I can imagine a scenario where some kind of specially designed mechanical pencil could be made to fit the grip of your remaining digits, but the aforementioned tooling costs would prohibit this device from being made due to the fact that the global market for a device meant to fit your specific deformity is in the thousands at the most.
This is a scenario where 3D printing is EXCELLENT. I believe it will revolutionize things like medical prosthetics, and while I really doubt that this hypothetical pencil could be 3D printed for 40 cents, it could probably be made for a very affordable couple of dollars.
Unfortunately the media likes to postulate that 3D printing will allow you to download and print out a football or a pair of shoes. The only situation I can think of this being even remotely economical is perhaps in some kind of Moon colony where there isn't enough infrastructure to manufacture these things outright and the shipping costs from a proper manufacturer are too high.
For every other scenario, it will always be cheaper to produce a product with a specialized machine.
Rotring 800 or a Pentel Graphgear 1000 seem to be really rugged in my experience. The rOtring will be less likely to malfunction though. Rotrings are impressively well built. Full metal construction with a knurled grip section and retractable lead sleeve. Go ahead and throw this pencil at a wall. It will survive. These are considered to be pencils you can pass onto your grandkids because they just last that long.
Amazon link I found: https://www.amazon.com/rOtring-Retractable-Mechanical-Pencil-Silver/dp/B00JEV9TLC
Alvin Draft/Matic. Extremely well built, smooth and easy to work with. A bit expensive, but I've been using the same one for three years.
I disagree http://www.amazon.com/Pentel-Twist-Erase-Automatic-Assorted-QE519BP2-K6/dp/B0047CP6SI/ref=sr_1_4?s=office-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1302914995&sr=1-4
That's a great choice in pencil. I've used primarily a Pentel 0.5 mm that I picked up in 2003ish. I'd vote for you off your pencil choice alone. You can't be worse than some of the other candidates.
I used Touchnew markers.
Numbers; 64,76,182,CG8,83,143,84,132,145,75, white deleter for the eyes, I overlapped # 76 on 182. # 64 is used to shade for the blue. # 145 is for the shade for the white on the dress. CG8 is for the dress and shoes. #84 is the ribbon. # 83 is for the shade for the dress. For the black I used whatever but make the lines thick haha rem is thick lulz. I used a color pencil for the blush. For the skin I used #132. TBH I would go fairer. Like #26 or #131. I used a micron pen for some of the black I have a black Copic marker so I used that to fill in some stuff I would not use the Copic cuz the brush is hard to control for me now. I would recommend drawing her before you even start to color her. Here is the sauce for the markers I used. And the rest of the art supplies I used. I would not suggest the paper I used.

Camelcamelcamel says that this is the lowest it has ever gone down.
Edit 1:0.7 varient at 14.99$
Edit 2: Both the silver and black 0.5 rOtring 800 are on sale for 29.58$ and 24.53$ respectively.
Graphgear 0.9mm - I prefer the thicker, tougher lead
Pilot Precise V5 - Cap prevents leakage
Both are decent quality but still cheap enough that I don't worry about losing/breaking a few.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0728HBD7F
Much more durable and feels better than the provided pen
The Zebra Delguard is great for this.
I get how some people like wooden ones more than mechanical ones but an unbreakable mechanical pencil just sells it for me.
Zebra m701?
This is my go to.
Zebra M-701 Stainless Steel Mechanical Pencil, 0.7mm Point Size, Standard HB Lead, 1-Count https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003G4SSLK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_4CgFDb8DH3W3C
I love using my drafting pencil.
It's pretty cheap, the lead lasts for a long time and you can easily switch out the type/hardness of lead. They're available at hobby lobby too.
Staedtler Mars Technico Lead Holder (780 C) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000WL4WEC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i.h1Bb9ZX9PRA
Zebra delgard has unbreakable lead technology. I'm a heavy handed lefty so this was a game changer for me.
Zebra DelGuard Mechanical Pencil with Bonus Lead Refill, Fine Point, 0.5mm Point Size, Standard #2 HB Lead, Black Barrel, 1-Count https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LNNZS90/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_leXVDbQSQHV5V
[Pilot S20] (https://www.amazon.com/Pilot-Mechanical-Pencil-0-5mm-DR5/dp/B001AX7TUU/ref=sr_1_2?s=office-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1520225383&sr=1-2&keywords=pilot+s20&dpID=41ud31tnK4L&preST=_SX300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch): Wooden barrel mechanical pencil. Very high quality pencil and smooth, silky writing experience -- so it's good for long periods of writing (ie. taking notes, math). Nice weighting -- naturally positions itself toward the paper in your hand.
[Faber Castell TK Fine Vario] (https://www.amazon.com/Faber-Castell-Mechanical-Pencil-135500/dp/B000WEAW2K/ref=sr_1_1?s=office-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1520225493&sr=1-1&keywords=faber+castell+tk+fine+vario&dpID=41E%252BerIBzDL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch): High quality pencil w/ a mode for soft writing (for taking notes/general writing) as well as a mode for hard writing (drafting, etc.). Has a smooth, flared metal grip as well as an extendable eraser. Absorbs pressure to avoid lead breakage.
[Rotring Rapid Pro] (https://www.amazon.com/rOtring-1904257-Rapid-Mechanical-Pencil/dp/B0055ZUEZQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=office-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1520225819&sr=1-1&keywords=rotring+rapid+pro): Another very high quality pencil. Although this pencil is generally labeled by people as a drafting pencil, it is definitely great for everyday carry. Nicely cut knurled grip -- even if you're sweating, for example, don't really have to keep repositioning hand. Retractable tip, so pocket safe. Weighting is nice as well, heavier than the S20 though. Very durable. Absorbs pressure to avoid lead breakage.
[Caran D'Ache 844] (https://www.amazon.com/Caran-Dache-Infinite-Mechanical-Pencil/dp/B000WFZ7SS/ref=sr_1_3?s=office-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1520226391&sr=1-3&keywords=caran+dache+844&dpID=31BgbaTFd3L&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch): This pencil has a clean, simple look to it, and writes beautifully. It is also extremely sturdy and the barrel is aluminum, so it has a nice weight to it as well. Not very fatiguing when writing -- good for long periods.
Note: As someone who is currently enrolled in engineering courses, I believe you can't really go wrong when deciding between these. I own each of them and recommend them equally.

Hey /u/Oxygen25 she sent me a link to Amazon for a pencil
It doesn't look quite right, and isn't a pen...but They may have swapped barrels out for ink on the set. Let me know if you want me to PM you the prop shop's contact info. That said, they're storefront is online.Edit: I looked at the screenshot again. I'd bet that this is the pen. Just weird lighting.

Hey sorry for the random reply, is this the same pencil you got? :https://www.amazon.com/rOtring-0-5mm-Mechanical-Pencil-502505N/dp/B00C1YNBQS/ref=sr_1_6?s=office-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1485854068&sr=1-6&keywords=rotring
Just wondering because of the difference in how much it costs not and how much you paid for it. I'm thinking about just picking this up right now, looks like it's only available in .5 mm lead and I've always hated .5 mm but I never tried quality lead with a quality pencil and this one is relatively affordable so I won't hate my life if it turns out I don't like it.
thanks!
i'm a drafter, so i still just user my drafter's lead holder with HB lead. it has its own sharpener built into the cap!
I also love my T-3 mechanical pencil. Great set! Zebra Mini Mechanical Pencil TS-3, 0.5mm, Silver (TS-3) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0018RF0IQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_FXIUBbQH4TZGK
Buy this pen: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pentel-Mechanical-Pencil-Black-Barrel/dp/B002HN26F0 and take out its clip. Although I tried some other cheap pens before disposing beautiful pentel , nothing fits perfectly than this one.
I used a .5mm bic mechanical pencil on bristol.

The pipeslide is also a wonderful model by the looks of it. I've never used one before, but I do have a Pentel Orenz, which also has the sliding pipe mechanism.
As for how the kurutoga, it's a light pencil if you're into that. The paint on the models with they shiny overcoat WILL wear down over time, which is what happened to mine. But asides from that, they're pretty durable. They're great for the price. If interested, there's a bunch of designs you could choose from. (try searching up the pikachu kurutoga pencil lol)

OP, if you haven't decided on one already, I highly recommend the pentel graphic gear 1000. I've had mine since 2009. Still going strong. I'm not sure if it comes on 0.9 though. I learned to write with the 0.3 lead.

0.9 exists. Graphgear...damn autocorrect

A few weeks ago the Rotring Rapid Pro, 600 and 800 were going for under $30 on Amazon. You could try those. They're built so well I feel like I could hurt someone by just knocking them on the head with one.
Edit: here you go

No 800 in 0.7mm under $30 I'm afraid.
When I started playing I bought a pack of 20 sets of dice.
After 2 years I now bring 2 sets to the table, with a few extra d6. That's a personal decision, because I find I need extra d6 more than anything else; You daughter night need multiple of other dice depending what character she plays. But overall, having 2 of every dice is plenty I think.
Having a box to keep and roll them in is an excellent idea. Dice boxes are a really useful addition to your DND setup. I made my own, but there are plenty of companies out there who make nice boxes too. Wyrmwood are what I would aspire to make my boxes like... Need a bit more practice and some different tools though lol.
Some other gift ideas though, and this is all stuff I use or have:
D&D books - Player's Handbook, Xanathars Guide, Dungeon Masters Guide, Sword Coast Adventurers Guide to name a few. Depends whether she's more of a player or wants to run sessions which ones you should get.
Spell or item cards - Something like this could be useful. If you know what class her character is you could get a specific set, or a general pack. I use them with a playing card folder to keep them all together.
Pins and stickers - there's loads of people who make enamel pins and stuff for D&D, great for customising a bag or something.
3D miniatures - Hero Forge let's you make your character and you can either download the file to print yourself, or get them to print it for you. Might need to get some paints to go along with this one.
Custom Character Sheets - Alright, so I actually make these, so it's a bit if a self plug, but I think they're still a great gift. A5 Character Sheet Booklet. It's your standard D&D character sheet in an A5 booklet format with a few extra bits added. Keeps everything nice and tidy, and protects the sheet from damage without having to faff about with a bigger A4 folder.
Mechanical Pencils - not much of a gift I guess, but hot damn, it is frustrating to have to sharpen your pencil at the table. Just get a mechanical one. I use one of these for my graphic design work and bought a second one to keep with my D&D stuff, but any mechanical pencil will do.
i think the rotring 500, it lacks the flamboyant features it's just a pencil, the pentel gg 1000 is good, and uni shift pipe lock since the lead sleeve is retractable.
i wouldn't recommend the 500 if you keep in your pocket because of the lead sleeve doesn't retract and that would mean it can get bent.
if you can get a Rotring rapid pro for 24$ that would probably be better for pocket use.
These are already released: http://www.amazon.com/Uni-Mechanical-Pencil-Kurutoga-M54521P-24/dp/B017BDDZ7I
I really hope that Pentel (my favorite brand) or even staedtler makes something new this year. That would be awesome. I feel like no new good pencils come out (IMO the recent Graphgear 800 and Rotring 800+ were bad)
Maybe the rOtring 500? There really isn't anything special about it, but it looks really nice and it's one of the best grips I've ever used.

Good call on the zebra F-701. I carry it and the zebra M-701, its mechanical pencil twin.
Zebra F701 comes in a mechanical pencil.
I'm pretty sure it bent in my pocket or bag or something. I don't press that hard hahaha. And here you go.
1000 $10.70
Smash $9.30
DraftMatic $10.05
Buy something like this. The tip goes inwards if you press too hard to prevent breaking.
I like these Pentel mechanical pencils perferably in .9mm. All metal, but not overly beefy, and not too expensive.
As for the Sharpie, does it have to be Sharpie brand or just a permanent marker?
Zebra Mini TS-3.
It's slightly slippery to grip in my opinion, but still a solid construction for the price.

Here’s one I found on amazon!
Have a look at the Twist Erase III in 0.9mm (it also comes in 0.5 and 0.7). The grip is quite comfortable and it has the best mechanical pencil eraser ever.
What I used was a lead holder, which is different than a mechanical pencil. It has a much thicker, longer lead and you use a lead pointer, or possibly sandpaper, to sharpen it. Also, it doesn't automatically advance the lead. It has a release, but if you point it down, the lead will fall out.
Alvin Draft-Retrac is pretty nice and so is the Pental Smash
Ahh!! That's it! I used to get these all the time, Japanese stationary stores are really something else. My favorite was very small, but 5 stories tall, and had just about everything you can think of.
Amazon has the pen & pencil:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0018RHUM0/
Now I just need a justification to buy some. They feel like they most amazing portable pens to insert into moleskin type diaries.
I've seen this combination for a more durable environment solution. It requires removing the stand.

I personally use the Apple Silicone cover only due to the fact I purchased it before the Smart Keyboard and Pencil.
http://www.apple.com/shop/product/MM1Y2AM/A/silicone-case-for-9-7-inch-ipad-pro-charcoal-gray?fnode=9a
For the Apple Pencil I use a clip of a common Pentel Sharp P205 I had lying around. Sometimes I will clip it to the keyboard and other time it is clipped into my pack.

I'm exclusively a 0.5mm lead user.
My preference is a 2B or a 3B for smoothness, and I use Pentel Ain Stein lead. (Got a multi pack from 2B-4B for $12) It tends to write slightly darker than a standard lead, however, it does get used up much faster. This for me is not an issue since the difference at least in my hands is so much smoother.
There are many notebooks to choose from, maybe check out /r/notebooks but be warned your wallet might hate you. I like the Semi B5 size since it is without margins and if you write small it approximates the similar writing area for my personal use since I never used the margins in the 5 star notebook types. The lines in the maruman are very light and easy on the eyes. The paper is very heavyweight and thick. I typically find it hard to see through the pages so you can write on both sides without seeing lines pass through. The covers are a heavy duty plastic material and great for long term use.
I got these notebooks for archival purposes. I use them to write down engineering formulas and notes on designs -- things that I need to constantly reference and have handy. I paid about $8 each notebook with tax and shipping. Highly recommend them!
Here are the particular items I got so you can take a look:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B017BDDZ7I - Kuru Toga
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HODH9QI - Leads
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OPQA7SK - Eraser (Don't buy the multi pack the erasers suck, but the holder is awesome. I took a Pentel Hi-Polymer eraser, and cut it up with a razor blade to shove on the sticks this thing comes with. Best eraser you can use! I also have the Pentel clic but it's not as good as the blocks since it's a harder polymer so it smears and doesn't erase perfectly.)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SWVXZ5G - Maruman Notebooks in Semi-B5
Also, shop around. Prices vary greatly for these items. Amazon may not be the cheapest, and sometimes Jetpens can be a huge ripoff so shop around before you buy!
I think there are only two versions of the Staedtler Noris Digital - one for Chromebook and one for everything else including reMarkable. I bought this one from Amazon and it works fine. Staedtler's compatibility list is here. In terms of writing with it then it feels a lot softer than the standard marker. If you consider the marker as being like a 2H pencil then the Staedtler feels like a 2B. Even though it feels a lot different to use, there's very little difference in the output. The ballpoint pen, marker pen, fineliner, sharp pencil and brush are virtually indistinguishable. The only real difference seems to be with the tilt pencil which comes out darker with the Staedtler.
Yeah, recently rotring rapid pros hit the $20 mark on amazon.

Pentel p205; the canonical technical person's mechanical pencil.
I think the M-701 would be a better choice though if your worried about losing your pencil the M-301 may be better since they are cheap

I bough mine a little while ago at 15. It’s a great pencil and 15 is not bad at all, that’s the price of eating out once

This, I have a set of them from high school. 27 years now.
Update: After looking at how the Rotring product line has changed since I bought my multipen, I think the Rotring Rapid Pro is a better approximation of what I've been using for so many years.
These are my favorite, although I use 0.7mm lead. I've been using them since 2001, I managed to break one once, but it's not likely to happen unless you're trying. The only reason I've ever bought more than the first pair was my own carelessness, I lose pencils like nobody's business.
The Staedtler Noris digital is working:
https://www.amazon.de/Staedtler-180-22-1-EMR-Technologie-Streifen-Design/dp/B0728HBD7F
This worked on previous generation Notes - STAEDTLER 180 22-1 Stylus Noris Digital Hexagonal Shape (EMR Technology, Attractive Noris Stripe Design, Ergonomic Soft Surface, Fine 0.7 mm Tip), Yellow-Black https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0728HBD7F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_fpAODb9RPQ21T
Pentel GraphGear 500. The single greatest pencil I have ever used, and the only pencil that has ever survived an entire semester in my backpack without cracking. The first one I got a few years ago is still going strong, and I bought some more later on. When the eraser rubs down to nothing, there's a little metal collar you can still pick it up with to refill the lead.

What kind of problems are you having with it, maybe someone can help. If you're having lead breakage problems, then it's most likely that the tip has been bent.
An inexpensive and durable pencil is the Pentel P205/P207 (It's the most popular mechanical pencil), it's light enough that dropping it will rarely bend the tip.
This is the one I bought
The ones at my school are about $25 per pencil.
I use 3:
I also have a fisher space pen. It's cool, but I find it is kind of small and easy to lose, so I just keep it at home and only use it at my desk.
charcoal pencils
doesnt have to be that one cause its a litttle $$ but thats what my firend bought me as well as
cheap but amazing mechanical pencils
I'm actually kinda curious as to the pencil...
edit:
Think I found it.
edit2:
Here's a high-resolution image for anyone curious as to how it works.
I use this coding reference: It's served me very well for the last 15 years.

excellent pencil
Here you go
You can get the 0.7 version here for a buck cheaper if it suits your fancy.
Pentel Multi-8. I wanted colored notes, but I couldn't justify buying a tablet, so this is my alternative. I'm really pleased with how it's worked out!
I quite like the design, feel, and quality of Caran D'Ache. If you like, you can get their pen and pencil to look like a matched set. They're high quality instruments but don't cost anything near the overpriced fluff.
I also really like the Zebra F-701, which is even cheaper. It's more substantial than the F301 which I also like a lot, and keep around me everywhere. But the F-701 I keep in the same spot at my desk. Also available in both pen and pencil
I was in the airport waiting on a delayed plane and I was reading a romance/psychological thriller book. I was so entranced by the psychologist- she was so poised, so smart, so sexy and so appealing! I knew I wanted to be just like this fictional woman. After that weekend trip, I came back to school and switched from education to psychology and never looked back.
And now I'm going back to school to earn my PhD and I would love to have these pencils 'cause herp derp I'm lost already and school hasn't even started. College Rulez!
Not sure how long this will last, but right now: $0.91

All my school documents (including Eclipse projects/workspaces and MATLAB files) are stored with Dropbox - at CC, several students have an Engineering shared folder going, which has all sorts of goodies in it, like the PSPICE exe distributed by the teach, notes from other students, etc... everybody here should do this at their campus!
Also, iPad 2 w/
Android phone w/
Also,
In search of an amazing eraser to go with the draftmatic. Open to suggestions!
I ordered lately from https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001E3QLN2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
and I bought from MoguMogu Tokyo (free shipping to EU ~1.5 week) 0.7 - 8.89$ and 0.9 - 7.32$ (now price changed)
A Fisher Space Pen, Mini-Sharpie and vintage brass bullet pencil in a small belt pouch. Or, a Zebra T3 and Zebra TS3 in my pocket kit.
My favorite mech pencil of all time.
Doesn't have cushioned lead, but the .9 will never break. Rotate the pencil to maintain a sharp point.
