It's a broom/mop rack. Like this, but a different brand

Well they sell a rack of shelves than can be used for networking, I brought 2 or these:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B07281KYSS/

Put them in the garage, found all my kit fitted on one set, so the wife commandeered the other set for all her toys (no not that sort of toy... Her ridiculously complicated mixer that seems to do everything, but never get used)

Broom and mop holder. The handle is gripped by the roller.

Feedback Sports Rakk

They're great, I have one. I need another, you can hook them together.

Edit - plus they fold up flat if you want to toss it in your trunk and take it along.

u/xlaxplaya · 3 pointsr/NYCbike

This thing is amazing.

I just stand mine up on a moving blanket when it's dirty. Makes it easier to clean too. I have to wash the blanket periodically.

u/FannyBabbs · 3 pointsr/magicTCG

See for yourself.

Assuming you order ~10 shelves, the shipping alone is over $100. For what are fairly basic, horizontal shelving units. A lot of shops would prefer slanted shelves, which cost more than triple per unit (but which Amazon Business would ship free of charge, lucky you!)

When our owner opened shop, he spent nearly $1000 dollars on shelving alone. You wouldn't expect it to be so pricey.

u/olbaze · 3 pointsr/fightsticks

A shelf with some wedges on the actual shelves to angle the sticks so the art is more visible?

If you want to display the art directly, maybe consider something like these hooks?

u/otayyo · 2 pointsr/cassetteculture

I have a bunch of these. I'd like to think you could find some cheaper than this listing though.

This looks even better!

I sadly have most of my tapes in milk crates, but I just have too many to consider investing in displaying them.

Not in the garage but almost in my kitchen. Just 2x4 screwed into studs with cheap bike hooks.

Those cardboard boxes are sturdier than you would think, and if they're full then that amount of magic cards is going to be cumbersome regardless of storage. One thing you can do if you're moving with them is stack them all in a big bin with a lid like this to keep them together and a bit extra protection.

If you're willing to spend extra money there are plastic boxes that work well, but something like this is a bit better than cardboard, but a lot more expensive for a lot less space.

u/BBZL2016 · 2 pointsr/plants

I got mine at Home Depot. It was around $100.

Here is a smaller one from Amazon

u/CrazyStatistician · 2 pointsr/lego

Search for part bins. You can get individual bins (like this, 6 4x5-inch bins for $10, or 24 7x4-inch bins for $50) or a cabinet, like this (about $20). I have three cabinets like the one I linked--the drawers are all removable, so you can take out the pieces you know you are going to be working with and have them right in front of you.

Small NYC apartment here (~300 sq ft). Have 3 bikes stored without any real loss of floor space.

The racks sit behind the sofa, which now sits about 8" from the wall. This gives space to store wheels and tires between the wall and the couch. The rack is friction fit between the floor and ceiling, so no damage to the walls. I also have another rack behind my TV, where my road bike resides.

I will certainly know where to get feedback on my amateur photography from now on... Plus it's not a kickstand, it's a bike stand! I thought I got away with a clean, affordable performance setup for enjoyable riding and the lock and bag add some versatility.

Amazon sells this really slick wall mounted tire rack that only costs about $40. I got tired of tripping over my winter tires all summer so I took a chance - and it was a great purchase.

you have a lot of options, but they all boil down to the question of whether you want to store your bike horizontally (e.g. holding the bike up by the top tube, like with this mount), or vertically (usually holding the bike by the front wheel, like this mount).

i prefer vertical mounts because they take less wall space, but it means stuff might tumble out of my saddle bag or panniers if i leave things in them when i mount my bike. i've gotten in the habit of removing these bags on my way into my apartment, but once in a while i forget. but horizontal mounts take up a relatively enormous amount of wall space. on the other hand, if you're proud of your bike, it can be a nice way to show it off i guess.

i use the vertical mount i linked above for my apartment, but my office has this track thing with some hooks and we can hold up 3 bikes in the 48" track (with the middle big upside down to avoid the handlebars knocking into each other). they're all pretty great, and i have no complaints except that you'll want to figure out what to do to protect the wall from the wheels sooner rather than later. even relatively smooth tires will start eating up the wall where they rest, if they're there without any protection.

there are also more aesthetically themed mounts both on the horizontal and vertical sides of things. i tend to prefer understated kind of industrial looks, though, so the white metal hook really pleased me and i didn't save links to other products i saw.

the major takeaway is (i hope) that you have tons of dimensions to work out, and most of them are personal preference. if you don't have any wall space, then horizontal mounts might be out of the question, but beyond those sorts of things, as long as you have a stud you can mount just about whatever you want. road bikes aren't very heavy, and the load they put on a properly installed wall mount almost certainly won't be a problem.

so just look for something you like that has a good handful of believable reviews (there are chrome extensions and stuff that can analyze reviews for false reviews, which is unfortunately a thing). you can also find really inventive designs on etsy and stuff, which will give you inspiration for what qualities to look for (material, size, color, etc...) if nothing else.

u/DonOblivious · 2 pointsr/cycling

These allow you to store the bike vertically and fold them flat'ish against the wall: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Steadyrack-11000-Classic-rack/dp/B004N9BUEY

You'd mount them on the left wall and fold your neighbors bikes out of the way when you want to pull one out.

u/housemouse · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

My most expensive item would be the kitchen aid mixer. but a bunch of people have it on here already so i checked what my second most expensive item is: this set of 4 plastic storage boxes. because.. you know.. i like to live life on the edge.

I want this because I am just obsessed with storing things. i swear every week I clear out my room of just junk and knick knacks that I dont used. eventually i'll run out of knick knacks and then have to buy more. then more storage boxes. its a vicious cycle.

If i never got this item ever.. It might be problematic. but I think i could survive.

Yes, that's the newer version, I think I have two of those and two of the older (bigger) version of it, plus one of the horizontal variants.

u/Dubrekken · 1 pointr/Homebrewing

Lots of great advice here. The only thing that I'd worry about in a small space is fermentation control. A trick that I picked up is, you can get some deep plastic bins for cheap to put the fermenter in. I normally use a rubbermaid "storage bin" that's about 2.5 ft deep and wide enough to put a 5 gallon water bottle in. This doubles as a spill container if krausen starts coming out of the airlock, and you can put some water in the bin with some frozen water bottles to keep the temp of the fermenting beer down. Room temp may be 74, but the beer is active when fermenting and generating heat, so you may overheat the yeasts and get off flavors early on.

http://www.amazon.com/Sterilite-66-Quart-See-Through-Storage-Latching/dp/B001RCUND4/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1333727703&sr=8-8
^ That's something like I have. The price listed is for 4, but at your local mega-mart you can pick up a single one for most likely 8 bucks or so. Handy for storage too when not fermenting beer!

I got a thing on amazon for mine so they don't effectively take up any room during the off season.

Link here (not a referral link, I'm not making anything off this)

I use something like this

u/alc6379 · 1 pointr/cycling

We have two of these.

...But I wouldn't recommend this particular one. Both times we ordered it, tons of parts were missing. Once we got all the parts, it worked great, but the manufacturer was kind of a dick about sending out replacement parts.

It works great, for the most part. My girlfriend has a step-through Electra Townie, so that one's a bit awkward to get on, but for bikes with (mostly) horizontal top tubes, it fits the bill.

u/nycjv321 · 1 pointr/succulents

I am a huge fan of steady rack! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004N9BUEY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I have six of them mounted in my garage, two of the fat bike versions and 4 regular. They swing left to right so you can mount your bike then swing it out of the way. Very easy on and off as well.

I just bought these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01J60GP58/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s05?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I was planning to use the 7.5in hooks to sit the headset on with the 3.25in ones to hold the strap as a backup in case the big ones fail, then the 5in ones to hang the Touch controllers.

Unfortunately, The Rift is in my living and I don't want to expose it to light, so the 7.5in ones will still be used to sit it on, but the 3.25 ones will now be for the nose as a backup.

I got the idea after someone said they use a guitar wall mount for theirs.

u/squirtle6 · 1 pointr/bicycling

I think I'm going to get this. It's small and simple and seems like it'll do the trick just fine.

u/ephemeral_colors · 1 pointr/boston
u/Paul_Swanson · 1 pointr/HomeImprovement

I was thinking something like that, but was concerned with how much detergent weighs. I didn't look up the weight rating until just now: https://smile.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-5-Shelf-Shelving-Casters-Black/dp/B071DZHLXH 88 pounds per shelf, I think that would work.

u/boredcircuits · 1 pointr/bicycling

I just use a wall hanger [kinda like this one] (http://www.amazon.com/Rubbermaid-FastTrack-Organization-Horizontal-FG5E03DWSNCKL/dp/B0009J5NT0/ref=sr_1_7?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1407806538&sr=1-7)(but it screws into the wall). The bike is far enough from the wall to pedal, mounted at the right height to do some work, high enough to be comfortable, and it doubles as storage. Well within your budget. But quite uninteresting to build.

I've never assembled an internet bike, but it shouldn't be too hard. [GCN made a video] (http://youtu.be/M3UIIz8cVms) that shows how to do it, though it probably depends on where you get the bike. Getting the headset and stem properly tightened is the hardest part. But beware that internet bikes wildly vary in quality --you definitely get what you part for there.

Yeah they are. These ones are cool as they swing out of the way but they’re expensive - Steadyrack Classic Rack - Wall-Mounted Bike Storage Solution https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004N9BUEY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_TZPyDb1P7FK1K

Is this the hook that he and you both used? It looks interesting and was wondering if it would be good for daily usage.

u/Shufflebuzz · 1 pointr/cycling

I have this stand and like it.

I also use a Bike Brake. You can just lean the bike against any fixed object and it's not going to roll away or fall over.

u/colioptere · 1 pointr/lego

I've got a bunch of these stackable desktop drawer organizer whatsits and they work nicely.

Things like this are often recommended here, too, I'll probably end up adding one or two for small quantity parts.

Aside from that, I recommend checking dollar stores and hardware stores for whatever looks sized right.

I used this painters tarp. Fits perfect with no cutting. Shelf is an Amazon Basics was $10 cheaper to buy the one with the casters as opposed to without. Velcro holds the sides together for easy access

u/BuckeyeBikeNHike · 1 pointr/bicycling

Hi all, looking for a short term solution to hanging bikes in my garage. I was wondering if I put 2 of these ( https://www.amazon.com/Impresa-Products-Bike-Hanger-Hook/dp/B01CZ7WZ08 ) into studs could I hang a bike horizontally from the top tube?

After thinking about it I don't know if my bars will clear the wall.

u/Lakestang · 1 pointr/bikewrench

I have this set up with bike mounts

It works well and you can change the spacing, as needed. I have other hooks in between the bikes to hold my helmet, air hose, etc.

The bikes do stick out, but, the use of LF of space is maximized. I am able to squeeze five bikes and two cars into a typical two car garage.

u/InternationalToker · 1 pointr/microgrowery

Lol damnn I think I’ll stick with what I have! This thing cost me $15 and by just putting something at the back to raise it up an inch or two all the water runs to the front.

this I think is slightly too short for your needs -- but this might be a good starting place to start looking?

u/hatts · 1 pointr/IndoorGarden

Mint, rosemary, and basil are standard easy herbs.

For a dead-simple setup, you can buy 2 of these and two of these and clamp/hang them about 1 ft above the tops of your herbs. Then put a couple pots on/under a wire shelf like this.

I like these kinds of installations because there's really no "building" and they can be moved around easily. Metal wire shelves are also very versatile so you can reconfigure/repurpose them as needed.

u/HenryJonesJunior · 1 pointr/bicycling

Indeed. For apartments, where adding large holes for secure mounting to walls may not be an advisable option, gravity stands work great. I have some huge steel 2-bike one that I got at a local Performance Bike store (can't seem to find it on their website) and have been considering picking up a 4-bike one off Amazon to replace it.

u/AmateurSparky · 1 pointr/HomeImprovement

How tall is the roof there, and do you have any horizontal members up high? I hung my bikes upside down from the ceiling of my garage using bike hooks.

u/shortyjacobs · 1 pointr/Volkswagen

I have two of these, and they are fuckin' rock solid. $44 bucks with prime shipping. Heavy duty, easily hold any size tire, and adjustable width to hit weird spaced studs.
