These have been released over time and except for the hulk ( he came in a two-pack with first appearance wolverine), they all initially retailed for 20 bucks but are only available on the secondary market Right now unless your local store still has some in stock. Here are the current prices on Amazon.

Do whatever you feel like. Unless you actually want to get rare pops to collect and sell later on then just open them. I always open the pops I have that are around $10-20, I'm not going to sell them so I just have them out on my desk and bookshelves.
Edit: Most pops aren't going to become super valuable some day, the ones that are around $10, like this Superman pop is valued at $6 and is not going to change for a really long time, since it's mass produced.
Judging by the flat tipped sabers, it's the bandai model kit
https://www.amazon.com/Bandai-General-Grievous-Model-Japan/dp/B071F2M653
There's a 2-pack available on Amazon now with a Deluxe class War for Cybertron Optimus and Titans Return Orion Pax. I think that's your sweet spot right now. 2 figures, at a good price, and WFC Prime is pretty badass-looking. The main problem is both are Cybertronian alt modes, so they're a lot more sci-fi than other offerings, if that's a problem.
Outside of that, the Classics one is really nice. I'd say he's the the best G1 styled Prime that doesn't cost a ton. The original version is hard to find now though, but there is a two-pack with Classics Megatron that I think still goes for reasonable prices. Only real problem is he's pretty small.
Combiner Wars isn't bad, per se, but he does sacrifice a bit for the combiner gimmick, and IMO really only shines with some limbs and an upgrade kit. The classic red version is pretty hard to find now too, not sure about the white one. I should also note that CW Prime has an upgrade kit, Primo Vitalis, which makes him very IDW-esque. But it adds a lot of cost to him in general.
Titans Return has 3 versions: a Leader-class Powermaster Optimus Prime, and 2 Voyagers, one in the normal red deco and one 90s G2 deco. Both versions are solid, but like CW Prime, they kind of suffer from shoehorning in a gimmick. The G2 version also requires buying a set for $100, so it's not for everyone.
That covers most of the CHUG (which includes Generations) Optimuses.
If you're willing to spend more money, MP-10, Masterpiece Optimus, just got re-release. He's really the definitive Optimus, but he's expensive.

For $10 more, the Bandai version can be bought on Amazon. Do you guys think the Bandai version would be better, and how do they scale with 6" BS
Bandai Hobby Star Wars 1/12 Plastic Model General Grievous "Star Wars" https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071F2M653/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_azSTBbY46F82J
Yay, finally :D
Hmm if you want Vegeta, I highly recommend the newly released Figuarts SSJ Vegeta :D There are currently 3 different SSJ Vegetas. The first two are using the old body articulation system, outdated already so I don't recommend those.
On Amazon, this is what you search for (remove the space between amazon and .com) ->
https://www.amazon .com/Bandai-Tamashii-Nations-Figuarts-Saiyan/dp/B01GCACKMW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1496079617&sr=8-1&keywords=figuarts+vegeta
If you want the normal haired Vegeta in Saiyan armor, wait around 2 months because the updated better body of Figuarts Scouter Vegeta is going to be released. Better paint applications, sculpt, and articulation :D
This is for the new Figuarts Scouter Vegeta (remove space between amazon and .com) ->
https://www.amazon .com/Bandai-Tamashii-Nations-Figuarts-Vegeta/dp/B06XC8G4TJ/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1496079617&sr=8-2&keywords=figuarts+vegeta
There is also a Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta but I don't recommend him that much. He's using the old body articulation system and his design is very flawed in a lot of ways. He's more for the completionist if you really want an SSB Vegeta haha :D
You can get SSB Vegeta here (remove space between amazon and .com) ->
https://www.amazon .com/Bandai-Tamashii-Nations-Saiyan-Vegeta/dp/B019NW57CG/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1496079617&sr=8-3&keywords=figuarts+vegeta
All in all, the BEST Figuarts Vegeta currently is the very first one I showed you. He's the classic Vegeta we all know and love, he uses the new body articulation system so you can pose him with a wider range of motion, his paint application is pretty much perfect, plus his sculpt is way more accurate to how he appears in the show :D
Oh yeah for other Dragonball stuff, the NEW SSJ3 Goku, God Goku (Red Hair version), an insanely massive Shen Long dragon and Nappa are being released this year :D
S.H. Figuarts figures. They're high quality, range in price from ~$40-65 depending on the figure. Some more expensive if they're older versions.
Goku Black comes out at the end of this month which I'm excited for.
Vegeta: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GCACKMW/?coliid=I2YQN4M9X2353N&colid=1BTU77J0VUWU6&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

It's from the tamashii nations lightning effect (blue version). Pretty awesome and worth the relatively small investment imo
It's Bandai Tamashii Nations. Buy Iron Man here and Spider-Man here.
I think your Boba Fett was probably Bandai as well.
It is the one. It is on my list to gain and build.
there ya go
It's still on pre-order at BigBadToyStore.com. I'd suggest contacting the retailer you pre-ordered and ask them. If you're wanting to get the figure now, you might want to request a refund and import it. I would consider Amazon.co.jp as the site you import the figure from.
Still available from Amazon.
FYI it's already up for pre-order HERE!
I'm sure this would work with Samurai IRON MAN also -- https://www.amazon.com/Bandai-Tamashii-Nations-Realization-Samurai/dp/B01LX1TCFW/ref=sr_1_1?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1501947483&sr=1-1&keywords=samurai+iron+man -- and adding a sick TONY STARK head -- these samurai can hold there sword with 2 hands np and look amazing - if you don't know about these yet they are made by bandai tamashii nations -- the same as SHFiguarts --these movie realization figures are bigger tho, at around 7 inches. I think they look pretty good tho with marvel legends head size -- might look 100% with a marvel select size tho.
Spiderman is on sale right now also --
https://www.amazon.com/Bandai-Tamashii-Nations-Realization-Spider-Man/dp/B01EPJ2TV4/ref=sr_1_2?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1501947483&sr=1-2&keywords=samurai+iron+man
Just so you know, the official SSB Vegeta figuarts figure actually is in his black/grey outfit. https://www.amazon.com/Bandai-Tamashii-Nations-Saiyan-Vegeta/dp/B019NW57CG
> Cyclops and Colossus can be especially hard to find.
Colossus is under retail on Amazon right now if anyone is still looking.

no, this is a bandai model kit that you actually have to assemble yourself
Oh god, now I want the Charizard too...
But in all honesty, $60 is a bit steep. That's about the same price as the D-Arts Charizard figure.
Here’s my suggestions for 6 inch figures:
Emperor’s Wrath Vader
Jedi Knight Luke
Guards
Palpatine
> I'll be buying the samurai spiderman if it comes to North America.
He is; shipped and sold from Amazon.com
if you want a good blue vegeta figure, here's the figuarts version with him in his whis suit, and the head can also fit on regular vegeta's sayain armor if that's more of your style
Samurai Spider-Man is only $62.18 to preorder on Amazon right now and set to release on 10/5. That's a little over 30% off MSRP. And with Amazon's preorder guarantee, if the price drops between when you order and release, they'll honor the lowest price. I don't think it will drop anymore at this point but the lowest price has been $61.56 so you're not missing out on much.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01EPJ2TV4/
The only way the price could get significantly lower is if B&N did their 40% coupon again (that's when I actually bought into the line) but who knows if they will.
Edit: Forgot to specify I was referring to Spider-Man.
It comes with the Kit.
There are a few versions of Barbatos out there. This is Barbatos Lupus.
I still see it as $20 here.
Tyara, I'm not used to the username yet.
/u/NJBilbo is ALSO rather awesome - he puts up with my gif spamming without complaint :) And he's hilarious. No seriously, have you talked to the guy? Because you should. Because he's entertaining. Even if he does tease :-P
He definitely needs this because he started a new job, and he has an awesome shelf perfect for funkos, but his old job threw all his away :((( And also, Beetlejuice.
Link to figure.
You'd have to pay a customizer or do the work yourself to get the SSB look.
Not sure where to pick up the energy effects. You can get certain bootlegs from China on eBay, if you don't want to go elsewhere.
I have a question about two different barbatos 1/100 kits
I see on amazon, maybe somebody knows what the difference between the 2 is? Besides the price I mean.
First one is item model number BAN201886.
https://www.amazon.com/Bandai-Hobby-Orphans-Barbatos-Iron-Blooded/dp/B0129DW184/ref=sr_1_4?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1484772196&sr=1-4&keywords=barbatos
The second one is item model number BAN211951

Don't forget Inkling Boy
Well there are only 5 six inch versions but two of those are a variant of one.
https://www.amazon.com/Marvel-Legends-Deadpool-Action-Figure/dp/B0002E7B4C
This is the one I was speaking of. The knockoff can be aquire for under $40 and is pretty awesome.
https://www.amazon.com/Marvel-6-Inch-Legends-Deadpool/dp/B01B44NWFU
This one is from last year and is really bad ass also. You can get it for less than the amazon price if you get lucky or shop around at the right time.

Yours does look really awesome though. Great job!
Also, if your willing to put up the cash for it, you could buy him one of these figures:
Mewtwo, Charizard, Blastoise
Dear Goddesses, where to start.
I have watched Anime as young as 5 years old but I had no idea where the cartoons came from.
I assumed that they where either from the United States (under a different style) or Mexican (specially Dragon Ball Z which has become such a part of our culture that people would actually vote for Goku on the past elections.)
So, my Godfather was actually who corrected me and told me that it came from the Magical land of Japan and that the kind of drawings I was doing where 'Manga'.
Thus began my magical quest to become a Manga-ka
and under my standards I am so fair flailing. Not only did I want to admire the whole Anime culture, but my dad used to work for Sony, so I had certain books on Japanese Manufacturing clauses, rules and culture; Japanese culture in general and history; Japanese geography. This just made my interest pike more and forget learning Russian (this is a long story actually) and decide to learn Japanese on my own. I was 11 when I took the decision and so far I have not only learned the language (somewhat, my kanji is horrible and while my pronunciation is ok I have problems making coherent sentences at times), but I know how to bow properly, making and differences the different types of dishes - soba, udon, teriyaki, tamagoyaki, etc - all in a certain hope of not just fangasming on Japanese stuff, but immerse myself fully.
I do not think I can stop being a Gaijin ever, nor that I will reach the level of respect as many of the real Japanese Manga-ka but Japan will always have a place in my heart as the land that brought to me so many things in life.
Now, as what I want I. . .actually want all that candy (+ A + It's so pretty and delicious) but items are pike my interest (I saw a limit of ¥1,000-¥2,000, da?) but knowing America will not bring it here, I am interested in this and a cheaper option this since I collect these things.
Why is Lizardon so cheap and Myuutsu so expensive damn it ;_ ;Goku

They might not have powers, but I would guess that they still have their intelligence. Think of all of the impossibly smart characters that have toys made after them. Rick from Rick and Morty has actual feats against a highly fortified compound under similar conditions.

Regarding my comment about cartoons, I assumed you were referring to the classic "Saturday Morning Cartoons" as opposed to children's animation in general.
>just recently I noticed it when my little brother watched TV. There is a Nickelodeon Teenage Ninja Turtles show and during the Ads there was a promotion for this: https://www.amazon.com/Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-Turtles-Leonardo/dp/B008DBZBUC
The TMNT were conceptualized as a comic book. What I was referring to were shows such as GI Joe and Transformers, which were literally created to be toy advertisements, I wasn't talking about the commercials in between.
>Wow, that is a non-statement if I've ever hear one. So because a perfect childhood is impossible to achieve we should not try to strive for optimal results?
In context you had said you already have enough to worry about, which is where that came from.
>The brain does NOT see a 3D simulation the same way as the actual real world, the biggest factor is already that you have to adjust your eyes depending on how far away objects are.
And yet your brain interprets the image the same.
>Being in an actual 3D environment and interacting with things around you is far more taxing on the brain than staring at a 2dimensional screen that simulates a 3D environment.
Part of how stereoscopic vision functions does that anyway. Human beings can't actually see true 3D at all, it's interpreted by our eyes as a 2D image and we use that input to recreate it as a 3D model in our brain. That's why 2D images work at all.
>The statement "They'll never construct anything meaningful" is already dangerous because it's such a baseless assumption. A quick Google search shows a lot of examples of kids creating amazing things, see here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XRZE1SNdj1U
Again, in context with what you had said it makes more sense. I said "they'll never construct anything meaningful" not "no child has ever constructed anything meaningful." There's a reason the word "prodigy" is in that title. It's a moot point anyway because there are also children who are unnaturally good at creating in the medium of electronics as well.
>Okay but instead of letting your kid play real sports, why would you invest hundreds of dollars of machinery to do something that might be similar? I think this discussion is kinda pointless.
Okay but instead of letting your kid play games, why would you invest hundreds of thousands of dollars on land titles to do something that might be similar? I think this discussion is kinda pointless.
Nobody's spending hundreds of dollars, nobody's preventing their kid from playing sports. Your point was meritless and disengaged from the actual reality of how raising a child works. My whole point was to let them take interest in what they want.
>Because they make you phsyically strong
Not necessarily. It's much better for cardio than anything else.
>teach you real life dexterity that doesn't just involve your fingers
Most sports do not. There's a reason we consistently use small objects and tools like balls and rackets. Manual dexterity is the primary focus in nearly every sport.
>learn to handle real life scenarios.
This is actually where TV comes ahead. When a parent isn't around to help a child in a new situation they're more likely to develop an unhealthy response, which is why when a child isn't being paid direct attention it's good for them to see what other scenarios can arise and they're shown how to deal with those scenarios by the program. In fact that's one of the primary goals of good children's programming. Have you ever seen Arthur? Nearly every episode had a plot that involved some problem or other a child might encounter while growing up, and the resolution was always when the character being followed owned up and learned about how to responsibly handle the situation. Either that or sometimes when the episode was about a tragedy or a tough situation it was about how to deal with the situation in a more emotional, familial way.
>Yeah, they will absorb a lot of information but a massive amount of information on the internet is horseshit.
That's how the world works. A child who develops with the internet learns to distinguish between what's reliable and what isn't much better than a child who didn't. The vast majority of people who fall for scams or conspiracies on the internet are those who grew up without it, not the other way around.
>And the last thing I want for my teenage daughter is to look up makeup tutorials, telling her what she should look like and what cosmetic products she should buy.
See, this one to me is fundamentally disgusting and ignorant.
Women (or men) who do makeup do it because it's a hobby and it's art. It's not some sort of cosmetic conspiracy to make people feel ugly, it's personal maintenance and a point of pride for those who do it. A girl watching makeup tutorials only ended up there in the first place because she wanted to do her makeup and needed someone to show her how.
>I am not saying technology cannot be useful, but my point is that for (especially younger) kids it is important to restrict what they can and cannot do. The internet allows you to see anything, cartoons, political agendas, porn, gore etc.
And my point is that such restriction when done responsibly should not be in the form of limiting electronics, it should be done internally, being involved in your child's interests and guiding them in the right direction.
>Most young children don't watch cartoons, which are more for the 8-12 age group.
Eh, I don't buy that at all.
>I don't entirely understand what you're saying here but the phenomenon of children's cartoons just to advertise toys died ~20-30 years ago.
That's simply not true at all, just recently I noticed it when my little brother watched TV. There is a Nickelodeon Teenage Ninja Turtles show and during the Ads there was a promotion for this: https://www.amazon.com/Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-Turtles-Leonardo/dp/B008DBZBUC
What you're saying is simply incorrect so I don't get why you make these statements.
>The way the world works doesn't care how much you have to worry about, what children need for a perfect childhood might be completely impossible to achieve, it wouldn't make it less true if it was too much for you to handle.
Wow, that is a non-statement if I've ever hear one. So because a perfect childhood is impossible to achieve we should not try to strive for optimal results?
>As far as we understand it, biologically speaking, the human brain sees a rendered 3D environment and a real 3D environment the same way. Would you object to children using paper? We already know that a 3D environment is more helpful to learning than a 2D environment or text on a page.
That sentence doesn't mean anything and it wasn't an argument against what I said. The brain does NOT see a 3D simulation the same way as the actual real world, the biggest factor is already that you have to adjust your eyes depending on how far away objects are. Being in an actual 3D environment and interacting with things around you is far more taxing on the brain than staring at a 2dimensional screen that simulates a 3D environment.
>They'll never construct anything meaningful. The early years of child development are for learning and absorption. They don't tend to express themselves meaningfully until around puberty. They'll build and make art and so on, but it won't be very original.
The statement "They'll never construct anything meaningful" is already dangerous because it's such a baseless assumption. A quick Google search shows a lot of examples of kids creating amazing things, see here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XRZE1SNdj1U
>This is also true for video games. Especially VR and AR.
Okay but instead of letting your kid play real sports, why would you invest hundreds of dollars of machinery to do something that might be similar? I think this discussion is kinda pointless.
>Why? Because they've been around longer?
Because they make you phsyically strong, teach you real life dexterity that doesn't just involve your fingers and learn to handle real life scenarios.
>Regardless of where technology will take us, computers are absolutely full of information to absorb, and it's what children are built for.
>I think this is especially important when they get old enough to actually start taking an interest in particular hobbies. Most teenage girls today probably learned most of how to do their makeup from YouTube. The same is true for a lot of younger people who like to draw, they used online references and tutorials.
Yeah, they will absorb a lot of information but a massive amount of information on the internet is horseshit. If a child searches for basic terms of things he likes he will find videos like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJqszZw6F6I
And the last thing I want for my teenage daughter is to look up makeup tutorials, telling her what she should look like and what cosmetic products she should buy.
I am not saying technology cannot be useful, but my point is that for (especially younger) kids it is important to restrict what they can and cannot do. The internet allows you to see anything, cartoons, political agendas, porn, gore etc.

I'm 31 now, but I use to play Teenage Muntant Ninja Turtles with my brother and my cousins when I was a kid. My girly cousins and I decided that the turtles were our boyfriends, an idea my brother hated. Donatello was always supposed to be my boyfriend, but I always had a secret love for Leonardo. It would be fun and romantic, (and a little creepy and sad) to finally be reunited with my secret lover.
Edit: Oops forgot to pick a number. I'll pick 31!
