My S5 fit in my pockets, but I wear basketball shorts

When I had an S4, I used a belt clip Like this one when I didn't have bluetooth headphones

Now, I use this armband with Bluetooth headphones.

I honestly prefer using a belt clip though. I don't use one because I have the S-View cover.

I use an old pager/cell phone 'holster' and attach it to waistband right below my belly button. That way I can sleep on my side and also won't roll on top of it. Something like Nite Ize Universal Clip Case Cargo Cell Phone Holder with Holster Belt Clips, Sideways, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004O6347M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_OqTRAb26AC0AT.

Anyone have any opinions on this case?

Edit: well, after looking at reviews it seems ok. I bought it, should get it on the 11th. I'll update this comment with a short review then.

Edit2: Very solid case. Comes with a belt clip, lanyard, and screen protector. Screen protector fits VERY well, especially when in the case. The case itself is made nicely and the plastic has a really good texture to it that is at once both easy to grip and feels really nice to hold. It's definitely a bulky case and adds quite a bit of noticeable thickness to the phone. The belt clip is MASSIVE and not something i would ever use, but I am considering breaking off the clip part and using the plate as a sort of hard-core screen protector for when I want to throw my phone down on a gravel road and run over it a few times with a car or something. There are 4 black "bolts" on the back of the case that seem to be there to keep the phone level when it's on it's back, but they're loose and kinda spin around which can get annoying.

My only real concern with this case is the kickstand. It's attached and clipped in really well but feels super fragile. I have a feeling this part will break first and quickly if I use it decently.

I'll probably post a full review on this sub in a month or two after I've used this case for a bit.

These guys make different sizes. I have a Large for a Galaxy S5, its in a Spigen hard case so the phone is quite large and still fits well into the belt holder. The belt clip locked onto my duty belt pretty well and doesnt move.

IDK I was browsing cases on Amazon maybe this one might work for you?

Welcome to the Nexus 6P gang! Just got mine a couple of days ago too and was looking at cases too.

I have this one that I could order and get very quickly on Amazon but it depends where you live:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0146MZSPY/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1480706781&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=nexus+6p+moko+case&dpPl=1&dpID=41zk455GngL&ref=plSrch

I quite like it. It gives you decent protection, it feels good in hand and it has a striking design on the back. It also doesn't make the phone much thicker. It depends on if you like the feel of the back design in hand, though, and how much protection/bulk you want.

I was thinking of buying this one too at some point for a bit of better protection:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00JP6FPZA/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1480706781&sr=8-3&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=nexus+6p+moko+case&dpPl=1&dpID=51Tl6fOWkjL&ref=plSrch

It does make the phone a fair amount thicker, apparently, but gives pretty good protection and the rubberised back is very grippy, as I understand it.

PS: found this one on Amazon

Encased Essential Belt Clip Case (2019 DuraClip) Slim Grip Cover w/Rotating Holder (Essential Phone PH-1) Black https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07RFT8MYH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_9jz6CbAB58SJT

u/cbalde04 · 1 pointr/galaxynote10

I have a Galaxy Note10+, with the "Encased" Belt Clip Case, and I bought the Nite Ize HipClip. The fit should be similar to most "Shell Holster Combo" type cases of similar design. This clip fits perfectly on the top section of the kick stand. It allows my phone to suspend in my pocket (keeping pocket lint from damaging the ports and speaker), while still maintaining a slim profile, and allowing my camera/flashlight to be exposed if I need to inconspicuously record a crazy ex while picking up the kids, or see in the dark while having two free hands.

The only undesirable part about the clip is that it could be thinner. The bump out pushes the limit of some thinner dash mounts. Doesn't affect me, but it looks close.

Word to the wise. Make sure you let the adhesive set for at least an hour to get 75% bond strength. The 3M VHB adhesive is a strong bond, but only if you clean the surface properly and leave it alone to adhere. This is clearly explained in the instructions, but it can easily be overlooked because of the detail they go into without pictures.

Overall, very pleased with the purchase. I am glad to get rid of the pocket bulk for better functionality.

Did you ever decide on a case? I'm currently looking for one l'm looking at this https://www.amazon.com/CoverON-Motorola-Protective-Kickstand-Rotating/dp/B07PNK79HV

u/FeloniousVadge · 1 pointr/GalaxyS8

I have a Ziso Bolt case that comes with a screen protector made for the case. I just got it today and haven't had any time to see how it reacts to daily use. The protector is curved to fit the glass. The case is rubber/hard plastic that isn't bulky, feels solid and is easy to hold without it feeling like you'll drop it easily.

I switched for the note 8 to the 10+. I have to say I was worried I'd miss my note 8 it was bittersweet but I wouldn't go back in a million years. I bought a $40 set of wireless ear buds on Amazon and they work great pretty sure most are decent quality but just read the reviews. I looked into the Asus myself lol I was worried about what theyer take on phone software would be like.

As far as case I wanted all around protection so I wanted a holster to protect the screen I gambled and got the case for $12 after getting it then quality is on par with the $60 otter box I couldn't be happier.

Have fun playing with the 10+!

I too have the Spigen Rugged Armor case, combined with the separate Encased Belt Clip holster:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N02W6T7

It's a magical combination! The case is very protective, but perfectly thin. It's my favorite case of any phone that I've owned.

The Encased bolt clip holster is awesome too. I've been using belt clip holsters since my Moto Razor phones, and they all stunk until this one. The rotating assembly would always break, or the retention clip didn't work right. Encased doesn't have these problems.

I finally broke a part on my holster last month, when I rammed into a hard wall that caught the top of the clip that holds the phone in the holster. Luckily, they have a lifetime warranty and they sent me a new holster for free!

u/Quetzalcoatlus1 · 1 pointr/lgv20

Agreed. I would suggest the Spigen Tough Armor case as an alternative. I use the Spigen and it's appearance conveys quality and durability. It feels good in the hand. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M0HW9P4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_WJ7wzbR4PQTHS

This can be supplemented with a belt clip from Encased that is specifically made for this Spigen. Belt Clip for Spigen Rugged Armor - LG V20 (case not included) (By Encased) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N02W6T7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_oKevcWlm1FS5b

u/WinterWolf041 · 1 pointr/pixel_phones

I found these which look promising which all have button cutouts:

For a dupe to the $40 fabric case sold by google try this: kwmobile Case for Google Pixel 4

If you are someone into a clip case here would be a good choice: Ailiber Google Pixel 4 Case with Belt Clip Holster

For an all-around simple and sleek case try this 0.03 inch one available in many colors: Anccer Colorful Series for Google Pixel 4

This one is about the same, but from the affordable yet established and trusted brand Spigen: Spigen Thin Fit Designed for Google Pixel 4 this would be my pick over the others as the brand has a solid reputation and good customer service. It also does not prohibit wireless charging.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you get one and if so what you think!

u/thefunkylemon · 1 pointr/HelpMeFind

Would something like this work? Might be a bit small to fit a regular pen. Alternatively something worn on the hip like this, or this could suit

u/Smoke14 · 1 pointr/Nexus6P

I do i have This case on my 6P combined with the holster from this case becuase i like holsters. I also have this screen protector on the screen installed easily and flawlessly.

u/jparnell8839 · 1 pointr/Nexus6P

I've got this one, and I absolutely love it. Only ads a few mm in thickness, and includes a holster and kickstand (warning: the kickstand will piss you off because of how unstable it is. It's not the case's fault, as it's limited because of the location of the fingerprint sensor)

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018HCTT04/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

u/Sherlocked_ · 1 pointr/apple

Here's the case I use and I love it. I don't use the holster part but yea, the case is awesome. It's thin and has a durable kick stand. I've had it for about 6 months and use the kick stand all the time and it hasn't broke. Also, it's only 13 dollars on Amazon

u/outbound · 1 pointr/Nexus6P

For normal use - Spigen Thin Fit. Its a great case, adds minimal bulk to the phone so it still fits in my pocket, and the phone's buttons are recessed so that I can easily use a selfie stick or my Moga Pro Power controller. Its also protected my 6P from a couple of corner drops onto tile floor.

For backpacking - Moka Rugged. Great protection, its got a belt clip so I've got quick access to my 6P for taking pictures, and its got a built-in kickstand for watching videos/movies while relaxing at night.

u/NeoGe · 1 pointr/LGG3

None, as far as I know.
You can get this Spigen magnetic clip and add it to the LG Circle Case, although the reviews aren't exactly great.
I have the LG Circle Case, and it doesn't really bother me, that it occasionally flaps open.

u/andrewsami70 · 1 pointr/LGG3

Just buy the original circle case along with this so that the front cover doesn't flop around.

u/zadigger · 1 pointr/techsupport

In addition to a case, try to get a case that comes with a belt-clip holder. Yes; they're not much better than your pocket, but it does help a little depending on the make. Something similar to this since Otterbox makes some of the best cases. Ghost Armor is pretty awesome too, BUT basically only prevents surface issues, not sheer issues and such that'd still crush the phone.

u/LittleHelperRobot · 1 pointr/LGG3
u/Mister_Derper · 1 pointr/galaxys4

This is what I'm rocking and its awesome. Very thin and the holster is great for the gym if you want to use it.

Edit: not thaaaat light - but the weight of the phone is very nice still.

u/Jchronos · 0 pointsr/LGG3

Got this one. Really ruggedhttp://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00KTLJ02Y/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1425761549&sr=8-1&keywords=lgg3+otter+box+defender&dpPl=1&dpID=41J%2BvyFQgZL&ref=plSrch&pi=AC_SY200_QL40

u/SkyeCrowe · -12 pointsr/funny

I think what they mean is that if you're going to spend $700 on a smartphone, it shouldn't really bother you to spend an extra $20 on a case and something to keep it attached to a belt or inside of a purse. Anything that isn't your pocket. I have a galaxy and I know not to put that thing in my pocket, and even still I have a big thick case that has helped it survive many falls.

*edit
I should also note that I am a lady and even if I wanted to put it into my pocket, it wouldn't fit.
