This is honestly common enough in some way shape or form. I work for an airline and travel for free, oftentimes with coworkers because they have the same flexible schedule and are able to travel for free as well, so we get along good.

About 5 of us got stuck in PHL airport because our inbound flight was delayed on our way to Cancun, so we had to wait about 12 hours there for the morning flight.
Not a big deal, we do this often. After many failed attempts to sleep (awful elevator music set on full blast and bright fluorescent lights) we fail at finding food/anything interesting to do in the empty airport

We end up dancing in our socks, eating atrocious amounts of fruit snacks that I packed, and just generally killing time. I decide to go freshen up in a bathroom somewhere around 3;30 am.

My friend found my piggy phone stand and stuck it on his forehead anticipating I would be back in a few minutes and he thought it would be funny in his sleep deprived state.

I was gone for almost half an hour, doing a baby-wipe shower, fixing my hair, etc. Friend was too committed to the joke at that point to take it off.

Finally I come back and see the pig. It's kinda funny for about two seconds until I grab it off of his forehead...

Then I see the darkest fucking purple hickey you ever saw, the size of a quarter in the middle of his forehead. He had to go on vacation looking like that. It was infinitely more funny than he originally intended and we mocked him the whole trip about his pig hickey.
He definitely didn't have an easy time talking to girls on that vacation.

I have this in my car and I love it. I can clip it anywhere, and move the neck to the perfect position for my phone. I am sure that this would be perfect for what you are trying to do. You can clip it to your desk, and put it exactly where you want it.

It's called the Lamicall Phone Dock. It is one of the best phone stands hands down, very well made.

Though it's kind of "top kit," I'd recommend the Joby Gorillapod Hybrid combined with the Square Jellyfish Metal Spring Tripod Mount. They work pretty well. I went with those after reading this Wirecutter article on phone tripods, which has a few cheaper options. The Wirecutter is pretty good for tech stuff comparison reviews.

I use the nimbus controller and this wooden iPhone stand. It’s my mobile setup for now.

I highly suggest getting a nice large surface area(Table preferred) and invest in one of those phone mount things with the adjustable arm and setting up a scan area using the TCGPlayer App. the app works best when the card is on a white background and proper lighting. Once you get a rhythm down you can scan maybe 30 cards a minute or better i would guess. From there you can sort cards based on price ranges of your choice. I personally would do piles of:

>$1, >$5, >$10 Etc. etc.

I'm not sure if that's the EXACT one I use, I bought one at Walmart for less than $5 in the electronic section, but the one I have looks just like this.

So you look stupid using it, my wife makes fun of me every time I use it, but it works great for laying in bed playing Switch. Just detach the joycons, pinch the Switch tablet into the adjustable holder thing, put it around your neck, lay back in bed, and play with your preferred controller.

You can also use it to hold your Switch up on a counter or table with the charging cable plugged in.

Ahh, I gotcha. I have the corsair void pros, they are wireless which is helpful, but the earcups swivel so it's a real weak point.

For my display, I just have like a phone/tablet kickstand thing. It's nothing fancy or expensive but it'll do the job for short spurts. The downside is that I have to look down to use it and it realllly hurts my neck after 45 minutes or so. I will usually find a box or something to prop it up, which is why I'm interes in a stand like yours. I've considered just buying a stand and jerry rigging some way of mounting the two together, but that'll cost quite a bit. Alternatively, I could pick up a ounting arm like this one which is $24 with Amazon prime, but then I'm depedant on clamping it to a table.

There are dock blocks available where you rest your phone and run your type c cable through it for the charge. Those should work to keep your charging cable from falling off of the night stand.

That blue wave light before bed and especially while you're sleeping is terrible for you. I like to fall asleep to TV too. I bought a cell phone stand like this that I put on my bedside table. When I'm ready to go to sleep I put on a show on Plex or Netflix. When it's done if I'm still awake I put on another, if not, screen turns off and I'm good. Just make sure you turn autoplay off so it doesn't keep going after you're asleep. Cell phone screen a couple feet from your face is just fine for watching a show you've seen before as you drift off to sleep.

I think I have the one your talking about with the hinges and the logo lol. So far this ones adjustable, obviously, and it’s super nice. The logo doesn’t really bother me. Maybe it’s not the one your talking about but the hinges seem pretty sturdy, I’ve only had it for a little over 2 months now but it seems to be holding up fine.

You won't be able to use those cables with any wireless charger, and even if you could, it would only support up to 7.5w once 11.2 releases. I'm going to assume you don't want this though, but your title was confusing so I figure it's worth a mention.

This is the one I use and I can confirm it fits the iPhone 6. Not sure about the plus though. It's got a handy baby tripod but the mount comes off and can be screwed on to any tripod.

The problem I'd probably have with it is that I'd have to unplug the device each time I pick it up out of the cradle, because the cable runs through a hole in the cradle.

I know it sounds like nitpicking, but working in a team I often pick up devices to show colleagues. Unplugging can be a pain, because I have to reattach the debugger each time I reattach it. I could probably cut a gap in the front of the cradle with a dremel, but I'm not too handy with that sort of thing.

yeah I just stumbled on this which is similar to what I want, but it's much bulkier than a switch-dedicated sleeve that I can mod to attach the gear tie.

Not a case, but it certainly helps holding the iPhone 6. I bought one a few months ago and use it all the time. Plus it doesn't take up a lot of space and is reusable. Definitely a good add-on.

There's the Maxxable which has 2 finger loops. Or the iRing if you want 1 finger loop. There is also the Bunker Ring which is slightly less expensive than the iRing. If you are willing to purchase from Korea or Hong Kong there are really cheap versions on ebay like this one .
