I got my Ileostomy in September through emergent surgery. It's been rough, but I can tell you that for just about every problem with an Ileostomy, there's a solution.

The stink is solved by using M9 drops. Personally, I fill a bottle like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N3T942L/ and take it with me when I leave the house. Two squirts with every empty. EDIT: changed link to amazon page... the one I linked before wasn't the right one.

Hiding the bag beneath your clothing can be challenging, but I find using one of these https://www.ostomysecrets.com/unisex-wraps and sucking in my stomach a bit as I would when I try to stand tall, I look totally normal.

Everyone has different solutions for leaking. After trying almost everything, I've settled on using Coloplast pouches and barrier rings for a variety of reasons... but the trick I found to get a really solid seal is to use a blow drier on low and warm up the seal and the wafer before applying them. Then, once they're applied, make sure to push around the stoma and make sure everything is sticking together. EDIT: Oh, also, I make sure and dry off around the stoma right before I apply the barrier ring. It can get wet pretty fast so it has to be done right before putting the ring on.

As for the emotions... what helped me the most was watching youtube videos of other ostomates. In particular this guy: https://www.veganostomy.ca/ (I'm not a vegan but the vast majority of his videos have nothing to do with veganism) and this guy: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8rdZ1g-PhP0njLw0fgIgIw ... particularly this guy. Personally, seeing his attitude was exactly what I needed to see. He doesn't give a fuck, and you can tell. He made me realize it's going to be okay. He made me realize I was thinking too much and that I needed to just let go.

Best of luck =)

That's actually where the trees go. It's a little plastic jar sort of like these. I wanted the trees to be in something airtight. That way smell and freshness aren't an issue. The actual dugout part on the side is for other stuff like edibles, papers, etc. It could be used like a dugout in the more traditional sense if I wanted to, but 3d printed items have small imperfections that let moisture (and therefore smells) through. Plus the general consent is printer filament isn't food grade so I felt it was prudent to keep the two separate.

I do my whole routine, pretty much. I do replace my double cleanse with cleansing tissues (I use an oil based one - Skinfood Black Sugar Oil Cleansing Cloths, followed by a water-based - La Roche Posay Effaclar cloths). Then my whole routine I decant into smaller sized bottles for carryon:

  • I like these types of bottles for my carry on liquids - variable sizes mean I can put items like my facial oil in smaller bottles
  • This bag can fit my whole routine, including my sunscreen and foundation

My routine decanted is as follows:

  • CosRx Galactomyces Essence as FTE (decanted to 30mL)
  • Whamisa Deep Rich Toner (decanted to 10 mL)
  • Benton Snail Bee Essence (not decanted)
  • Stratia Rewind (decanted to 10mL)
  • Dr Jart Ceramidin Liquid (decanted to 30 mL)
  • 2-3 drops of facial oil - I like Banila Co Miss Flower Mr Honey oil but I believe it's discontinued. I also like generic Camellia Oil from Garden of Wisdom (decanted to 10mL)
  • Sheet mask (I like MBD masks for air travel - they contain enough essence that they don't dry out. I will often do 2 sheet masks on a long haul flight)
  • Benton Snail Bee Steam Cream (not decanted - original container is perfect for travel!)
  • CosRx Honey Overnight Mask (decanted into an old, sanitized sample size of Sulwhasoo Ginseng Concentrated Cream or similar small container)

At $.95 a vial I make actual anabolic steroids (as in PEDs) where the vial costs between twice to $.10 than the actual steroid oil itself...

Im new to fountain pens but I wouldnt be surprised if the bottle was the most expensive thing even at $.50 a bottle.

Shit I used to make ecig juice and PLASTIC dropper bottles where more expensive than 120ml of ecig eliquid...

These prices arent including labor the company pays to make this entire thing which Id bet is more than the cost of the bottle.

I wish more people were informed that you don't have to smoke it. (On both sides of the issue).

My wife can't even tell when I take it and she hates the smell of cannabis.

I make up a solution with soy lecithin and using a baby syringe (0.5mL/dose). It's under lock and key and in a glass medicine bottle: https://www.amazon.com/Amber-Glass-Bottle-Dropper/dp/B001FAT8A2?th=1

I just follow it with a cough drop because it tastes as good as it sounds.

all it takes is a bit of simple math. you can buy everything you need aside from the liquid nicotine on amazon. i myself use 100%vg juice so i dont buy pg at all but a large bottle of vg will run you about 20 to 25 dollars, 1 gallon for me is 22 at the moment. you can also find packs of empty bottles for around 10 bucks, then youll need measuring syringes for mixing, flavor drops and the nicotine all of which are linked below.

i would just mix small batches first if you arent sure what a juice would taste like after your done then mix a full bottle, this way you can experiment with flavor mixes and see what you can create.

for a 100 ml bottle its really easy youll just need to figure out how much nic to put in, i vape at 6% nic so i measure out 94 ml of vg and the last remaining 6 ml i put in as the nicotine, after that the base is done, then just drop in the flavor drops, shake it like crazy, let it settle for a bit and boom juice done.

there are also some sites out there with premade mixture recipes that you can find and follow

You can also refill cartridges and use a small dab of hot glue that pops off when needed. Overall, carrying a bunch of converters full adds to the potential of failure.

If you have a converter in your pen, and want some ink for it if you run out, you are better off picking up 10ml or 15ml bottles with the needle tip like https://www.amazon.com/Needle-Dropper-Bottles-E-liquids-Liquids/dp/B00OR2HEJC and carrying some ink in that.

Even better, a small glass 2 dram vial and blunt tipped syringe.

TL:DR- Save money by fapping, looking at /r/DIY_eJuice for recipes, buying shit, playing chemist, and fapping some more while then vaping your creation. $66 for ~400ml, only to get cheaper overtime.

As a broke college student, I jumped in to save money. Skip using syringes to measure volume; just mix by weight. I use Ecigexpress for a good portion of my purchases. Prices will be based off of them.

  1. Fap. A lot. Or give handjobs if that's your thing. I promise this important. If you're lame awesome, you can also buy a shake weight.

  2. Look for recipes you like on the /r/DIY_Ejuice subreddit. You can either look at the top posts, or search for juices you like. There might be a clone, or a clone attempt.

  3. Buy your supplies. The startup can be a little expensive, but IMHO is worth it in the long run.

  • Flavorings- Start with the smaller 10ml sizes unless you know you'll use them a ton (menthol, koolada, sweetener, etc). Those might run you about.... $3-$5 depending. Say you start with ten flavors (you might not have to, but up to you), then you're at $30-$50 for flavoring.
  • VG/PG- Unless you want max VG, I'd recommend buying both separately. 250MLish of each each should be enough for you to decide if DiY is your calling. 250 ml of PG and 250ml of VG will run you $5.29 a piece, so round up and call it $11 for your PG/VG base.
  • Nicotine- Fuck whatever you've heard. Buy 36 mg/ml in a 50/50 PG/VG blend. Higher strength might lead to more flavor, but IMHO not worth the risk at all. Ive been using 36 mg/ml for seven months, and I have no complaints, and I haven't died if when I spill the nicotine. Win win. Also, you want 50/50 as a max thickness to avoid any "hotspots" (uneven strength of the nicotine) after shaking. There's a debate on where to buy your nic from, but for my uses ECX wins with price. Haven't had anything of super high quality, but I've had zero complaints with the four or five batches I've ordered from them. 30ml of 50/50 36 mg/ml strength nic will run $5.
  • Gram scale- for mixing by weight. Make sure it's accurate down to the 0.00 grams range. The other thing to look at is the max capacity. The smaller ones will have a lower capacity, thus gigantic batches won't be able to be made, but if you're going for 30-60ml, this has never been an issue for my 200g scale. Found it on Amazon for $14 Though I'd check /r/DIY_eJuice for their list of recommended scales should you be able to find a better one.
  • Bottles- You can reuse the ones you have currently after a good wash, or buy your own. I wouldn't recommend buying these 30ml cobalt dropper bottles due to the fact that they leak like a bitch, never really close securely, and the fact that they doubled in price since I bought them.If you need new bottles, I'm sure you could find a dozen or so bottles for $6ish or so. EDIT- Found these. 30ml glass bottles- $0.70/ each. 30ml standard plastic dripping bottle- $0.39/each.
** Glass Pros- Holds less flavor after a wash, also some say they don't leech the chemicals plastics to, and mess up your flavor. Cons- More expensive, marginally not as convenient as plastic bottles for dripping/refilling a tank. Plastic: Somewhat easier to seal, and cheaper than glass. Cons- Potential leeching of chemicals that may mess up your juice after extended storage. I've personally never experienced anything noticeable, but to each their own.
  • Total of $66+ (plus $25 for your very own Shakeweight) or so, but YMMV. For ~400 ml that you can fine tune to your liking. This cost will decrease if you continue, as you probably won't have to buy another scale or more bottles for a while unless you really want to.

  1. Mix! Here's my go to mixing calculator. Not as 'advanced' as some of the other ones, but fuck it. It's simple, but provides a great layout to grow into. Go make yourself an account while you're waiting for your ingredients, and play around with it a bit. Hell, here's a fan friend/roomate favorite of mine. If you like root beer, I guarantee you'll like this. Three ingredients, and super simple. You can edit to add your preferred nicotine strength and/or final PG/VG ratio. EDIT: Banana nut bread that's also a friend favorite. Even easier.

  • Mixing process- After finding a recipe you want to make, and getting your supplies in, shake the fuck out of all your ingredients, especially your nicotine. If the recipe isn't already on the calculator, put everything in yourself (flavor and percent), making sure to identify your nic strength, the PG/VG ratio of your nic, and the desired PG/VG ratio of your juice.
  • Put your bottle on your scale, zero it out.
  • Shake each flavor again. A lot. Put all that fapping to good use.
  • Add each flavor to the corresponding weight (in grams) according to the calculator. MAKE SURE TO SHAKE EACH FLAVOR BEFORE ADDING IT TO THE BOTTLE I start with the nic, then flavors, then VG/PG. I don't really thing there's a right way, but that's been my system.

    Close your bottle.

Shake the fuck out of it again. See how important masturbation is to training for this?

  • The mixing process really only takes 5-10 minutes, it's not that bad once you get it down. Promise.

  1. Vape/steep!- Whew! That was a bit of effort! But if you find this interesting for one reason another, I will confirm it can be VERY rewarding. If it sounds like too much work for little yield, then so be it. I'd still recommend giving it a shot.

  2. Enjoy! Feel free to message me or SEARCH /r/DIY_eJuice if you have any questions. Always would love to help someone else.

    Edit: Words.

EDIT 2: Extra bottle info and another easy recipe from me.
u/televided · 3 pointsr/minipainting

I recently did this. I used the 15ml bottles from teensery here: Link

My process:

  1. Depending on the color, I added about 20 drops of diluted water or airbrush medium to the citadel pot and shook it really well. I use a small marble from the plant decoration center as an agitator.
  2. I dumped all of the thinned paint into the top of the teensery bottle by just pouring it. Each pot pours out to drips within about 60 seconds.
  3. Then I just closed the citadel pot, cut the label on each side with a razor and then peeled it off gently and stuck it on the dropper.

I had a bunch of paint left in my citadel pots but I couldn't be bothered. I use such a small amount of paint now that I'm on droppers, I just gave what was left to a buddy in a big plastic tub. I have only had to buy 2 or 3 pots of paint since, because I was pretty low on those colors to begin with.

I'm using more than 50% less paint now.

Ora plus is just a liquid you can buy on amazon, they probably use it in senior citizen homes to give them medicine lol. So you buy that for 15 bucks or whatever, and a 1ml dropper bottle for another 10 bucks or so, weigh the powder on a scale into whatever, pour 30ml into the dropper bottle then funnel in the powder with a paper cone or whatever, then shake the shit out of it!

Just picked these bad boys up

And with this style of bottles, you can unscrew the cap, put the cap on, but don't screw it at all and quickly snap the cap and nipple to the side and it takes the cap right off. No creases at all on them, and super cheap! Plus the different color caps makes it easier to see what is what

Put 1ml of the oil into this https://www.amazon.com/Amber-Glass-Orifice-Reducer-Plastic/dp/B00ILCCUN4/

Put it into a padded envelope.

Ship it to me. Obviously, I will not give out my address in public, so please, hit me up at [email protected]

Everything else will be sorted out and the payment will be sorted out with /u/Biomass_Labs or you in bitcoin, depends on your agreement, let me know.

Trying to make this as simple as possible, but if anybody has any suggestions, I'll be happy to hear them out.

Amazon. That is your best bet.

I use these for my stuff, like beard oils and etc. They are only 1 oz, but the droppers in them have all been perfect.

If you want 2 oz, try these

If you want bottles with a non-dropper top, try these.

I am replacing the regulator chips as well. I also got some diodes just in case because someone had problems with them. Even with the caps the total cost of the parts is probably less than $25 so it's worth doing. It's always possible there are some other bad parts too though, like resistors or a transistor. Again, they are all cheap so it's not costly to fix. Might be hard to find the problem if replacing the basics doesn't do it but again, not the end of the world to replace everything.

Do a bit of research. There are a bunch of discussions and blogs about fixing and restoring polymoogs. Each has a few interesting things.

FIRST:

TAKE PICTURES BEFORE PULLING ANYTHING APART!!! It'll save you over and over! And try to make sure there is no static electricity around you. Carpet is bad. Fabric chairs too. I find that wearing shoes on carpet is the worst.

And, I didn't actually "spray" deoxit on any of these. It shouldn't hurt anything but I found this to be really useful and much more controlled:

https://www.amazon.com/Needle-Dropper-Bottles-Liquids-liquids/dp/B00OR2HEJC

I have something like that. I spray the DeOxit into the bottle, then just put drops on the cards/connectors. Seems like overkill at first, but it works great and keeps you from wasting all the expensive cleaner!

Anyway... They always recommend re-seating all of the polycom boards. Again, I put a few drops of DeOxit on the connector edge, let it sit a few seconds then lightly wiped it, mostly to remove excess but also to get anything that might be sitting on there. A few looks a bit more corroded so I cleaned them gently with a pencil eraser first, then wiped and did the DeOxit. Since there is no sound yet I don't know if that was needed, or helped, or what, but it really shouldn't hurt and could help to eliminate some potential problems.

So, check to see if you have notes that don't work and just clean and re-seat those cards for now. Once you go through the process you'll see how easy it is.

There are hinges on the boards above those ones. Look at the posts they are screwed to to find the hinged ones and remove the OTHER 4 screws. Leave the 2 attaching the board to the hinged posts. Then just lift it up. I had trouble with the middle one hitting the right side board as I lifted it so I removed a few connectors to get it up further, then had to use a piece of string to hold it up.

Smarter idea: Open up the right side board first, then the middle one should open all the way. See, this is what you learn AFTER you go through the process!

The polycom cards just slide up and out. I just moved them back and forth a TINY bit to get them moving and then it was easy. The first ones I did were really in there tight and I wasn't sure if there was a trick but no, they just slide out.

There are 2 small daughter boards on 2 slightly larger boards right at the back, I'm not sure yet if they need to be cleaned and re-seated. I haven't got that far! But like I said, I found that putting a drop of DeOxit on each post of the connectors helped a lot so I would do all of those too. Flakey connections could kill chips.

That's all I know so far but I'll know more soon. The rest of the power supply parts and the 4000 ICs just arrived so I will be busy working on it this weekend.

And again because it's VERY important: TAKE PICTURES BEFORE PULLING ANYTHING APART!!! It'll save you over and over! And try to make sure there is no static electricity around you. Carpet is bad. Fabric chairs too. I find that wearing shoes on carpet is the worst.

u/sazeracs · 3 pointsr/fountainpens

I might also consider a Lamy 2000.

Snap cap, so better than a twist off for speed and ease of use (though perhaps a bit less quick than a VP), hooded (i.e. understated) nib, and a piston filler (i.e. larger in capacity!).

You probably wouldn't need to bring ink. But if you went with a c/c pen, I'd get something like this to bring some extra ink with me, in a (mostly!) no mess format for converter refills.

u/XIIIZombies · 2 pointsr/keto

I use these dropper bottles. I also don't use preservatives and I don't put it in the fridge (though perhaps I should). I have one I keep in my bag for work use and one at home that the bf and I both use. I've been using the sucrlose powder for about 7 months this way, and so far no spoilage/mold so yay for that lol

I don't measure it really (though I probably should), I just kinda add like 2 tsp to however much water will fill up the dropper w/room to spare for the added sucralose. I mix it up in a measuring cup that has a spout and pour it into the bottle. I wing it. Your way sounds way more consistent/reliable.

I just got another bag but the 50g bag I had bought before lasted the bf and I about 6 months. That's daily use in beverages as well as keto-friendly desserts.

u/octokit · 2 pointsr/spicy

Amazon.Next time I would buy bottles that include labels.

u/gypsyheart · 2 pointsr/EssentialOil

A good rule of thumb that I've found through trial and error for fragrance is is to pay attention to the fragrance notes. Here's a good starter grid: http://www.essentialoils.co.za/fragrance-notes.htm

When making lotions you need to note not only the fragrance but the therapeutics of the oils as well. The astringent oils may smell great, but if you use too many it will wreck your skin. Get some folks to be your guinea pigs. What I do is make a large batch of the base, portion it out and add the essential oils last so that the individual portion is suited for what the individual is looking for. I made some bath gels for my sisters, each with skin different needs. This method allowed me to tailor their skin needs to their final product.

I also got some of the tiny (I think they are like 1 ml) bottles to play with. I can mix a few drops of oil to get the scent before adding the full amount to a batch and finding out its nasty. Quality oil is going to cost you some cash and I'm cheap - I test it before I waste it.
https://www.amazon.com/Essential-Chemistry-Chemicals-Colognes-Super/dp/B015WSL9T0/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1469627244&sr=8-2&keywords=1ml+bottle+with+dropper

Also, the base/carrier oils that I listed have very little scent to them Coconut and rose-hips are probably the heaviest. The vitamin e, rosehips and Argon oil I use as an addition, not the base. Unfractionated coconut oil has hardly any scent to it at all, easy to "cover". Just adjust the base recipe to reflect the addition of the extras. For example, I'll add a bit less of the coconut/shea butter to account for the amount of the argon and rosehips that I might add.

There are a ton of resources online. Much like cooking - find a recipe that you like and then play with it. Once you learn what benefits each carrier oil has it will make it easier to build the recipes. Although I love coconut oil, I'm not crazy about the greasiness that can come along with it so I usually cut back on the coconut a bit and offset it with other carrier oils

Sorry, I didn't mean for this to turn into a book...just love my oils and potions :)

Why don't you just get a syringe or a bottle like this:

I use an amber glass dropper bottle. It's recommended that you keep the tinture in those bottles so it doesn't spoil. I use a 5th of vodka which in the end fills 4-6 bigger dropper bottles.

For light blue, not opaque, with zero problems try distilled water and copper (II) sulfate. It only takes a drop or two for your whole loop. Dropper bottles are pretty cheap too. I love me some Amazon for stuff like this on the cheap. I stated with Mayhems opaque but after all the horror stories I figured distilled water was the life for me.

Would anything happen to my CoverFX Custom Infusion Drops if I put it in one of these? The liquid always dries up inside of the dropper for me, so I want to just pour it into a different dropper altogether.

ALSO: does anyone know the size of the samples Sephora gives you? I was thinking about getting samples of the CustomFX Custom Enhancer Highlighting drops :) Just wondering how long it would last me.

When buying things on Amazon that say "Free Shipping" why do the product descriptions still list the international and domestic shipping rates? For example, a lot of these glass bottles (https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B004TS3NOO/ref=sr_1_4_olp?s=industrial&ie=UTF8&qid=1468194050&sr=1-4&keywords=amber+glass+bottle&condition=new)?

Nice find! I was actually looking around for bottles like that recently and somehow missed those.

On the other hand, I found these... which are really sexy.

Thanks! Good to know. Wow. That's a lot of samples...Maybe use something like this dropper bottle. Dark colored glass is supposed to be better. They have blue ones too.

i'd grab double what you think you need.

I order from 510 whenever i get close to running out, this is what I buy, usually in the 50 or 100 pack. they come with caps, lids and a funnel.

might wanna consider getting 10ml bottles for testing purposes. same as above, caps, lids, funnel.

I bought these 5ml bottles from ieasysexy and they had some weird bubble patterns on the inside of the bottles.

You can also take a unicorn bottle with you. They great to bring with you on trips. http://www.amazon.com/Unicorn-Dropper-Squeezable-Childproof-Multicolor/dp/B00VZZT7W6

You'll have to pack them carefully so they don't break (so maybe not the best suggestion) but I use these glass dropper bottles.

I just go to Amazon for my bottles, can't beat free 2 day shipping and the prices are pretty good too. These are the bottles I buy:
10ml bottles
30ml unicorn bottles

> I understand bringing an electronic cigarette is a big no?

I had zero problems bringing mine. Bring enough juice to last your trip though, I never once saw any vape shops in Bangkok. That doesn't mean there isn't any, but I didn't see one. Purchase some "Unicorn Bottles" and just keep them with your toiletries and stuff.
