I'd go for something like Cold Steel Training Swords. Not going to break on you anytime throughout the night and really blunt so you can hit your buddies with it. Downside is that up close it is obviously a training sword. Also, you'll have to make a scabbard or just make a loop to put it.

That said, if you are going for looks maybe this or this or this would be a better choice. However, my experience with crap quality like this is it will break and it is marginally sharp so you could hurt someone or yourself if you unsheath it.

Thanks for the pictures. I'm pretty certain you aren't sitting on a gold mine there, but it also isn't the worst quality (which would have no visible wavy line down the blade). Get yourself a blade cleaning set from Amazon if you haven't already to keep it at its best.
A little research suggests that the rust on the tang is a good sign (older swords tend to accumulate more rust).

If quality isn't an issue, you can find a number of relatively cheap (< US$100) blades from Chinese and Indian manufacturers. I've been looking at this shashka for example, which is very cheap for a replica, and if you shop around you might find cheaper.
As far as attaching it to a belt, the traditional way to do it would be with a leather frog or straps; but for a wedding you could probably get away with using black silk ribbons tied to the ring or rings on the scabbard (if, indeed, your scabbard has rings).
And if you're looking for something really really cheap (< US$50) there are options for that too, though with the emphasis on "do no swing this at anything-and-I-mean-anything."

Mine has 2 pins in the full tang handle. I recommend also buying a cleaning kit. A wooden saya is more authentic to me but will wear or split over time from repetitive drawing and sheathing. I liked the price, reviews and a handle long enough to balance or use a two-handed grip. Educate yourself via research and reviews. Good Luck!

Those are made of 1045 Steel - 1045 is not to bad but also definitly not great - but you could actually swing it since it's also full tang. Furthermore is it a more "reasonable" approach on the form.
