It looks almost exactly like this one, but the legs go all the way to the feet with stirrups.

Edit: there are some really cute swim tights out there. You could buy swim tights then a coordinating long sleeve rash guard.

Of course! I didn't start swimming till I was in my 40s. At first I could swim across a 25m pool and that was it. I now do 3 to 5 miles a day. If I can do it, anyone can.
Get good goggles and a swim cap (silicon not latex) and comfy one piece suit. Some swim paddles like these will help with keeping your hands in correct position for freestyle. FINIS Agility Paddles Floating Medium https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NQD7RP9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_4kAUDbCMCP9FQ

Breast stroke is great, but to mix it up a bit try learning freestyle. It's hard at first but it will really get you covering more meters quickly. If you can, get a couple private swim lessons to refine your stroke. It will be hard at first, (keep one goggle in the water when you breathe), but just keep at it. If you only do 5 laps your first time, that's ok, do 10 laps the next time.

Swimming is a pretty solitary sport, which I enjoy, but I sometimes need company. Every swimmer I have ever met has been so nice and so helpful, so reach out to them, they are full of great information!

If there is a Master's Swim club in your area, check them out, even if you are a newbie swimmer. Many clubs take any level swimmer so don't be shy.

Don't worry about being a great swimmer right off the bat. Just do a little more each time. Good luck!!!

I got a 2 pack of swedes for $23 and one pair took me from beginning of training to finishing a half IM. I really like them. Here they are on amazon. I also use my scuba diving defogger. The defog says not to use it with swim goggles but I put just a tiny drop on each lens and it works great

I have one. I bought it from Amazon.

Friends have made their own, it's quite easy.

These are what i swear by... very cheap effective earplugs. You don't want the foam ones, the silicone shit you mould. You want the ones shaped like christmas trees, put them in, you cant hear anything!

If you're talking about Trunks, wear underwear or a Speedo underneath them. Some guys even wear jock straps under their's.

However, what I've found is actually more comfortable is to wear Jammers underneath them. The great thing about the Jammers is that you can then use them if you want to swim for exercise.

I think an important thing to do might be to dress like a woman "your size". I'm not saying big girls can't rock yoga pants and crop tops, or anything like that -- but it takes a certain style to pull it off nicely.

Some people don't care how they look and do it anyway -- more power to 'em, I'm kinda jealous really. But for me, and probably you? Keep things a little looser; avoid horizontal stripes; wear a dark belt higher up to give the impression of a smaller waist; look for "slimming" patterns -- I think this swim suit is a good example.

Look at catalogs like Torrid, see how they dress, dress like that. Start conservative (in the sense of covering more), and work your way up.

It'll take a lot of work, you'll spend a lot of money on clothes... but -- for me at least -- it's so worth it. Also, thrift stores are your friend while you're trying to find "your" look.

I’m 6’ 200 pounds, Tyr suits fit me really well.

I get about 6-7 months of daily use out of them before they start to stretch out and die. Arena suits last a little longer in my experience, but it’s been a few years so I might be misremembering.

I’ve been rocking this one since February and it’s just started loosening up and showing Lycra fuzzies:

Something like these that you put on in addition to earplugs.

It's very similar to this one.

Mine has a hood but other than that it's the same. The only downside is that it wouldn't be that great if you were fuller figured up top; there is no support for the ladies. I'm a barely-whatever cup so it's no problem for me.

I've been swimming off and on for about 5 years now and this is hands down my favorite suite, I've gotten nothing but this style for years. It has an inner lining that keeps all the tummy tight and in place and has a flattering cut for your chest. Not too low in the back or too high around the legs. It holds up to chlorine really well too. It's a bit tight the first few times wearing then it's fine. It comes in smaller sizes too if you don't need a plus size. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it over the years.

Something like this? What size foot are you/did you size up?

So I think the Amazon produc page no longer exists but on this google cache page of the Amazon page, if you search "lawn" you should land on a review tat sounds about right.

Note -- I think they relisted the item here, but the old listing above is the one with that review
