It's most commonly known as the World Tech Warrior Renegade produced by Feng Jia Toys, most of the blasters they produce are based off of or very similar to existing Nerf blasters but not quite in the realm of knockoffs. In terms of rarity the colour seems unique as well as the On/Off switch however the blaster itself isn't though with Chinese companies its difficult to judge rarity given a lot of their products are unlikely to be sold outside of China or are only on offer for bulk orders, in this case its quite easy to get hold of one of these

Cybergun Springer SCAR-L: it's not tan, but you could attach a PVC pipe spray painted black on the end to replicate the suppressed AR.

NERF Fortnite AR-L: An essential reshell of the "Stryfe" blaster, this gun functions well enough with 1 rail for an optic, and includes an average "clip" size of 10. You can speedsoft with this. I know because I have done it.

I'd say go with an elite hyperfire. It's still on store shelves, has a nice high rate of fire out of box (being full auto unmodded) and comes with a 25 dart drum. Since it only comes with the one mag, I'd say pick up an extra pack or two of darts and magazines if you can find them. Also, FYI it runs off 4 D cell batteries.

If you dont want to go with a battery operated blaster, go with a rampage. No batteries, Slamfire, 25 dart drum. Be sure to check kijiji or cragslist for a suitable blaster before you go buy it brand new. There's usually something nerf there.

I'm still waiting on my delivery of Koosh darts, but I've used several different brands thus far, and here's my totally unscientific analysis:

FJV - cheap and works in all types of blasters I've found, but beware poor packaging. Mine came in a soft bag envelope so quite a few darts were flattened and deformed. Other than those duds, they're consistent across all blasters.

VTN - From my own experience, these don't feed very well into my flywheelers. Excellent in springers though, but be warned; they HURT. Not exactly a good choice unless there's eye protection involved.

Voberry - Great quality with one fatal flaw, at least with the brand I bought: the glue is insufficient, leading to my flywheelers literally tearing the heads off these darts. No bueno.

Waffle Tip - Quickly becoming a favorite of mine. They hurt way less even coming out of modded blasters, and seem to have comparable accuracy and range to the average.

Underrated favorite: Dart Zone darts. I'd probably use them almost exclusively were they cheaper and easier to get.

Yea, the RS is fine for messing around inside a house. Especially with younger kids. Mine occasionally doesn't like the top dart in the mag, but only if the mag has been sitting for a little while.

There is a $20 kit that replaces the handle and all of the internals for better ones, but it's been discontinued. Currently it's only available on amazon for around $35.

Waffleheads and Accufakes. Both quite accurate and affordable. Easily found on Ebay and Amazon. Have used both, Accufakes seem slightly more accurate and may be more stable at higher speeds. Waffleheads seem to run a little better in my magazines, however, and both are exponentially more accurate than Elites.

True Accustrikes may offer some advantage over Accufakes, but they cost a small fortune. Buzz Bee PrecisePro darts are even better, but also not cost effective.

I recommend Lazer Tag/Nerf brand. Still available brand new from Amazon. Forward and backward compatibility for all Lazer Tag product 2004-present, and a small but solid user/hacker community if you want to attend larger games.

I have one, and only one answer: Maverick REV-6. Here's why:

• I believe it's the Nerf blaster that has been in continuous production the longest (I think it's still being made for value stores and international markets).
  
• When most people think of a "Nerf gun," this is likely the one that comes to mind.
  
• It is the gateway drug that gets many people into modding (it was the first one I ever modded, personally speaking).
  
• It is perhaps the most accessible Nerf blaster ever, in the sense that people "get it" almost immediately (even the Jolt often has people doing a double-take due to its size, and/or initially confused about how it's primed until you show them the T-handle)
  
• The original, suction-tipped darts were a hoot... the "smack" they made on impact always got attention.
  
• Ergonomically, this was one of the best Nerf products ever... that handle was nearly perfect. Plus, it's incredibly easy to reload.
  
• It was neither too larger nor too small. The Maverick has, and always will be, just right!

My stock flywheels recently gave up the ghost, so I replaced them with some Worker flywheels.

The only other thing that comes to mind right now are flywheel cages: consider one of these 3D printed ones from the Open Flywheel Project, or an Artifact Red cage + flywheels.

You can try buying some of the premade Chinese ones. They probably work a lot better than 3d printed ones. Though firing faster than ~140fps is going to chew through your darts no matter what flywheels you use.

Also, what's the kV of the motors you're using? Depending on the diameter of the flywheel you'd probably need 30-40k RPM to get max velocity.

I don't advocate animal cruelty, but some of these can be real pests, and I suppose water isn't the worst weapon to use against them.

I would say a battery powered blaster like this: Electro Storm might work, but if you want something that's not noisy, the Point Break blaster will work. These two blasters all have a stream that is somewhat small.

Need something with a bit more power? The Scatter blast has 5 times the number of streams as the two above, in a scattered pattern.

And finally, if you want to knock the little bastards off your balcony, go with the Shot Blast. This Super Soaker is powerful enough to temporarily blind someone when fired at close range (trust me, I know). It's available at Target stores for the most part, which is why it's so expensive on Amazon.
