Maybe you need longer arms. Try investing in one of these

Amazon has a ton of awesome stuff for kids for pretty cheap. Anybody who only has ~$5-$10 to give should take a look at this list and organize helping someone in need from this thread. All of these are eligible for Prime. I'm willing to help out with two gifts of anyone's choice. Shoot me a PM. (Yes, I stole these ideas directly from SD. I've taken out the affiliate links.)

Finally got one of these bitchin' gunships. Wanted one for over ten years since I saw the 2003 Clone Wars.

Okay, everyone, start sending these to the white house em masse. It's got three colors of tanks, surely President Toddler will be happy with that. If we send enough he can cover the Oval with them and have the biggliest war ever.

Though, if he wants more than tanks, we may as well send him this

As a father to two young boys with experience shopping for these, they sell a barrel of 100 at ToysЯUs for $9.99.

Amazon also has them for fairly cheap - one, two, three (best deal) and many many more

Target. Very similar to these guys but sold for $10 instead of 14. It feels good knowing the patrols are equipped with the best gear! Over.

The castle playset is listed on Amazon and has a couple more pictures, including a better look at Bowser and the inside of the castle.

For the girl, Littlest Pet Shop toys are adorable. There are all kinds of sets and animals, and they range from a small set for around $10, to more intricate sets with all kinds of houses/cars with multiple lil animals.

The best bit is that they are trendy and so darn cute, but not any kind of skimpily dressed bratz doll.

And, all else fails, legos. Legos for one and all.

Hoth Han is still available for retail price:

  • These kinds of plastic animals are cheap on Amazon and you can also find them in most craft stores. I know I've seen them in Michael's in a local shopping center.
  • Here are 36 plastic knights, probably 6 each of the 6 pictured varieties.
  • Here are 100 zombies for $10.
  • Vikings, $9.00 for a dozen.
  • Pirates and Skeletons! You probably won't use the cannon, but the rowboat and the treasure chest will be useful.
  • Knights and Dragons...
  • More knights, with maybe skeletons...
  • Cavemen, which could also be troglodytes, orcs, or goblins
  • The old M.U.S.C.L.E. toys had all sorts of creepy shapes with bulging muscles and axes for hands and stuff.

I don't see this on Gamestop's website, but I did find it on Amazon for $26.99

OP said TDKR was a snug fit but he's definitely one of the bigger 6" figures I'm sure all the other would fit even better

Batman TAS posted below and you said you didn't like the '66 version

Ugh, I was the victim of too many "thats for boys" growing up too. Do you remember what it was called though? I can't seem to find it anywhere and would love to buy one for my HP collection.

EDIT: I found it! https://www.amazon.com/Harry-Potter-Sorcerers-Stone-Spell-Casting/dp/B000UASKRU

Aww. I'm sorry, bud. One of these might take the sting out of it.

Yes, Schyling brand. You can order them here,

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00BT5JBVY/ref=psdcmw_166507011_t2_B000ID1B2K

They are quite the formidable force so you are also supplied with green American and Japanese soldiers. And if your subbed to the r/greydawn there are some grey German troops too. Over.

I mean they would only have had to add the Hoth luke instead. So something a bit more ambitious would have been better. Maybe his X-wing, or Slave I. Slave I would have been the smarter decision, They would basically have printed money if it were 6 inch scale.

I'm so excited for you! I'm in my last semester of college, and I can't wait to get a pet as soon as I get a place of my own. (I'm living with my parents for at least a year to save some money)

What kind of hamster home doesn't have [furniture] (http://www.amazon.com/Super-Pet-Sit-N-Living-Animals-Colors/dp/B005OCWS6S/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1397263876&sr=8-7&keywords=hamster+car)?!

As for names, how about Smaug? Cute, yet evil.

I shall call him my fluffy!

There are a few of different ones. I like the toy one , it should be bee sized. But it depends what you want.

Unfortunately, some British troops have Thompson SMG's, but there are Enfields and BREN's to make up for them, as well as American, German, and Japanese troops. Good quality, can take a steel BB center of mass and keep going. They have served me well. Over.

Maybe my kids aren't that creative or I just haven't shown them how to build cars and planes and stuff with their Legos, but my guess is: if they get the magformers, they might build the structure on the picture once or twice and then that's it. They make really simple "planes" and "cars" meaning they put two pieces together and tie a string around it or something and say, "look I made a car!" So the magformers would be a no go for me. Not for that price point atleast!

My kids love their magnatiles so I would probably pick the wheel bases for that, but I'm not sure if they'd build cool cars with them or anything. Like I mentioned in my earlier post, they just use their regular toy cars and stuff with the magnatiles. They basically make crazy multilevel garages with bridges and ramps for their cars and play house. The wheel bases for the magnatiles might not really add much to their play, but that's my kids. Maybe find a friend with the magformers and see how they like them? Lol

We have this set of vehicles that come apart with screws and a battery operated screw driver that they love. Of course they lose the pieces and then leave them everywhere... But if you're not set on adding to the magnet sets, you might consider something like that? It was from the learning resource center or something like that (it was a gift). It was similar to this but it has a battery operated drill
OCATO Complete Set of 5 Assemble Toy Take-Apart-Toys Vehicle Play Car Toy Set Multi Mix Educational Toy https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CJ6E2CY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_wxYHxbWDZ5VSC

Oh here I think this may be it or closer to it
Motor Works by Discovery Toys https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002AGMOQA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_zyYHxb5E38HJD

Anyway. Sorry if that wasn't as helpful as you'd hoped! Each kid is different and honestly... I'm trying to pare down on our toys since they only really play with a few toys anyway. They used to love Legos. Love love love them! But the magnatiles took over. Maybe Magnatiles are too easy and I should push Legos on them more, but eh....... I'm too tired.

Anyway good luck!

If you've never wargamed before I would suggest getting a bucket of toy soldiers and proxy the hell out of them. Get a feel for the rules and what you like and don't like, then start buying figures.

These:
Four colors of doodz
and these:
Vehicles, arty and terrain

One of my favorite battles was between me and another Ork player who played Necrons for practice. His army consisted of poker chips, toy soldiers and a vanilla Yankee Candle (monolith of course). We still had a blast.

EDIT - Okay, the Battle of Vedros set is way cheaper than I was expecting - that would also be a fine starting option.

I've seen it on amazon uk, but it's still shipped internationally, tad bit pricey. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pokemon-Team-Plasma-Box-10832/dp/B00CE3IAYE
