I bought this pencil case to keep in my backpack for my necessities, Tylenol, inhaler, tissues, lip balm, hand wipes, pen, pencil and any other small thing I need on a daily basis. That way it’s organized, in one place and I can put it in a purse or travel bag if I need to.

Edit 1: I also use a Bubm cable case, which admittedly isn’t full right now. But when I travel, it is filled with all my cables and cords plus my laptop power and mouse.

Edit 2: Here is an album of both

These look to be the iris photo boxes.

https://www.amazon.com/Novelinks-Transparent-Photo-Keeper-Handle/dp/B07C8C2FXX/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?keywords=iris+photo+storage+containers&qid=1557635379&s=gateway&sprefix=iris+photo&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1

You can typically find they at Craft stores such as Michaels or JoAnns. They have frequent sales so i would be surprised if you couldn’t find them for less than that.

We’ve recently really gotten into caning and have been having issues with how to pack for play parties. I finally ordered a telescoping poster tube today!

We’re still looking for a classy bag for the rest of the toys.

Found these perfect little boxes on Amazon the other day:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HRLMNSY?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Comes with 18 boxes, which is perfect for all of the races plus the speaker token, used with some labels from BGG printed at 85% size. Fits all the tokens and race cards comfortably! They also fit single file against the edge of the box :)

After I wind the yarn into cakes they fit right down onto the spindle which has a central spike on a dowel that rotates above a stationary base. It keeps everything feeding smoothly and nice and compact so it's easy to set aside and pick back up again.

Tackle box!

Something like: https://www.amazon.com/SE-87322DB-Compartment-Adjustable-Sections/dp/B002UZZ06M/r

The removable sections make it easy to have sections for each length / type of jumper wire and any screws, posts, etc.

u/Dakkaface · 5 pointsr/rpg

Depends on the type. If they're metal, you want to store them in something padded so the paint won't chip. I use Plano 1404 cases to store my wargaming minis, and they'd probably work well for random D&D minis that are Large or smaller as well.

For plastics, I found a couple 3-packs of these interlocking tool organizers. Three of these fit (almost) my entire Bones Kickstarter, which is 200-odd minis. The bigger dragons don't fit in here, and the smaller ones only do because the wings come off. Some of the larger minis also only fit because they disassemble. That said, they let you easily sort all the hero and monster minis, and bring only what you need by locking them together if you want to bring multiple boxes. Instead of looking for tackleboxes, look for tool or part organizers.' They tend to have larger compartments, and some have slats you can move around to customize the shape & size of the compartments.

I bought this one:

Heavy Canvas Stationery Portable... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CRVL58G?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

It's been solid and it's affordable.

u/Throwaway_bicycling · 4 pointsr/dominion

What brand is this?? Look like it works pretty well.

EDIT: Amazon appears to carry it so I am Primed to get a couple of these if you can verify how many cards they seem to hold, whether sleeved or unsleeved, and how you did the tabs. :-)

u/Ksoms · 3 pointsr/gifs

For those asking about the pen,

They are Pentel Outline markers and can be found on amazon.

Just did a quick search. Other colours available as well.

u/BortPlate · 3 pointsr/RemarkableTablet

I have this one:

https://www.amazon.com/KuRoKo-Premium-Leather-Remarkable-Digital/dp/B07CWNFKT5

It's been really great, especially for throwing it in my backpack and traveling around.

It is leather, though.

u/kirbur · 3 pointsr/knitting

I usually leave any interchangeables in the case the came in. But for everything else, I use a zip up pencil case like this .

u/Xeller · 3 pointsr/gundeals

I use poster/blueprint storage tubes kind of like these. Makes it easier to grab and transport to the range.

u/robeschi · 3 pointsr/fountainpens

In my shirt pocket or inside this pen case inside my bag. The pen case can hold like 15 fountain pens, wipes/tissues, extra cartridges, and a few sample vials. I rarely stock it that full, though.

u/federalbeerguy · 3 pointsr/XWingTMG

I swear by these: HDX 320034 Interlocking Black Small Parts Organizer for Fasteners and Crafts w/ Removable Dividers (2 Pack) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GYQXRS6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_T3MFDbE0WQCE2

You can find them at Home Depot for like $12 and they come in a two pack. I have four total and they carry literally my whole collection of about 60 ships. This includes medium and large base ships plus all tokens, templates, other items.

I keep all my cards in a zippered binder with trading card sleeves.

When I go out to play I simply throw the cards and ships I need into my top box which has all of the tokens and templates and jet. It makes things super streamlined and I love it. Doesn’t take up much space either.

u/Chapstickie · 3 pointsr/CrossStitch

If you like project cards than plastic ones are way better than cardboard ones. And if you do projects with a lot of colors it is amazing to have a Pako needle organizer. I do a lot of Dimensions Gold Collection kits and keeping my needles threaded makes it a lot faster. Other than that the obvious stuff like good scissors with sharp points and a bright light.

u/TurboCooler · 3 pointsr/boardgames

Plastic Storage tubes or Mailing Tubes. They come in different length and large diameter ones will allow you to roll up more than one together.

You can also make your own rack by purchasing PVC pipes from a home improvement center and cutting them to length. Miter box, clamp and saw and it is easy to cut. You can close off one end simply with some hot glue and foam core then trimming.

You can also make a stack of tubes in a cube shape that you can fit into a Kalax slot or just place on top of the Kalax or even in a closet.

Something like this:

O O O

O O

O O O

Repeat for however many you need.

The PVC pipe can be spray painted to whatever color you want.

You can even make a PVC Tube ladder. Cut to length so that the mat sticks out both ends. Then use Drawstring Cords to tie them together and for the top tube make a loop that you can hang from a wall using a picture hanger.

Great folio, great price. I've been putting mine through its paces for the better part of a year and it's as good as new.

u/jaybeau1979 · 2 pointsr/killerbunnies

I got one of these wooden boxes to hold all the cards, dice, pawns, etc. Not perfect, but everything fits!

u/SenorBurns · 2 pointsr/fountainpens

About $10 and meets your criteria, and often recommended : LIHIT LAB Pen Case https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004WMWBPY/

u/thealison123 · 2 pointsr/bulletjournal

I like this one. It holds a surprising amount and it's easy to keep organized.

u/Lance_lake · 2 pointsr/twilightimperium

I have some ultra slim containers for the factions (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HRLMNSY) whereas you seem to have slightly bigger boxes for them. So I suspect that I can put the dice in the lowered area that won't be as high as your boxes.

u/thawhizkid · 2 pointsr/fountainpens

Gotcha, Thanks a lot. I have this case at the moment but am thinking of getting one like you have with individual pen loops.

u/yoshisword · 2 pointsr/DnD

I have a bag for Starter Set items/dmg/phb, dice, pathfinders mats.
Do you need the boxes? I basically got rid of my starter set box.

For your mat I suggest something similar to a Artist tube . Not sure if that's the correct size, but you get the idea.

u/housecatspeaks · 2 pointsr/comiccon

I REALLY like this one, and it is a very reasonable price! Notice the shoulder strap and handle, and it is expandable to carry different sizes of posters! Some of the posters given out at SDCC are really large. It is also sturdy and pretty indestructible. And you won't loose the cap! This is a good one.

If you like selection, here's a another one:

u/Clockwork_87 · 2 pointsr/mechanicalpencils

I sure do! I love this case also. But if I keep buying all of these pencils I’m going to have to buy some more, or a bigger one.

It’s really an art supply box. Got it on Amazon. US Art Supply Artist Wood Pastel, Pen, Marker Storage Box with Drawer(s) (Large Tool Box) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OTZW56Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_NXE2AbVMY7HT4

I recently started a thread about playing Bruges while in Europe and here is how I packed the game while traveling over seas: Left the box at home, packed the board in cardboard and taped it up so it doesn't shift around too much, all other components in photo boxes (link here). I brought a lot of card games with me too. But the photo box approach is actually pretty handy.

u/Tervlon · 2 pointsr/XWingTMG

The Plano 5231 is where I would start. I have several that I keep mine in (my collection is rather large). The top section will accommodate all the ship tokens, the gameplay tokens and templates & obstacles. The inside will easily fit all that you have along with the dials and damage deck with plenty of room to spare. I am storing complete conversion kit cardboard and a majority of the small ships in the boxes. Adding a bunch of large ships to the collection may present an issue eventually, but you can fit a YT-1300 + another large ship without issues. The Ghost does not fit in the box unfortunately.

Edit: The prices on Amazon for the red plano are not great right now though.

The HDX interlocking series is pretty great, too. The containers lock together making it easy to add to the collection as needed and they are easy to carry. These can accommodate the bigger ships like the Ghost, too. maybe go with this. The price is good, too.

You could always go to Staples or Office Max before the show and buy a poster tube. Or if you have Amazon prime order something like this: https://smile.amazon.com/Plastic-Storage-Tube-Blueprints-Expandable/dp/B01DLYJHG4

u/Chickenbutt723 · 1 pointr/crochet

It looks exactly like the one you posted. I got it from Amazon. [Yarn Holder](http://www.Wood.com/ Yarn Holder With Twirling Mechanism https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00SNWDJGY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_dr7bzbXF00ZJV).

I typically crochet sitting on the couch and I keep mine on a TV tray next to the couch. I actually think it's a nice size to take with me when I'm traveling. Fits perfectly in the cup holder in my car! It doesn't work perfectly for EVERYTHING, but it's far better than anything else I've found.

u/SarcasmSlide · 1 pointr/CrossStitch

This is also helpful to me. I splurged on a Pako needle organizer from Amazon here:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002UP67K0/ref=sxts1?ie=UTF8&qid=1492107143&sr=1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65

I do as you mentioned (mixing my threads ahead of time) and load them on needles, waiting and marked on this organizer. That way I can just switch out without slowing down my stitching steam.

u/fallennight · 1 pointr/gadgets

Haha, those are good, but I don't think you need 4. The double decker tackle boxes are really useful though if you want to get one.

Also, an artist box is good, and I bet they come in manlier colors too. This is a small version of the 40 drawer I have, and they are really useful for the small quickly accessible components at your desk.

u/Uhgii · 1 pointr/boardgames

Not the OP, but I found a 30% off coupon that applies to the item in the cart at least. Brings the price down to $29.40 before shipping and tax. Coupon was here.

Edit: Shipping is free for the item.

Edit #2: Someone else linked one on amazon that is a bit cheaper.

I use a tote to carry my projects to work. I keep my stuff in a pencil case to keep it organized.

This is the case I use: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018RFOAOG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_DvIVCbVVAYDHS

I saw your title and was going to comment and recommend Homecube before even reading the body of your post.

I have this Homecube and I think it's a great case for the price.

I use mine for fountain pens, too. I like the elastic to keep my nicer writing utensils in, and the zipper and Velcro pockets are really convenient for extra lead and erasers and ink refills.

u/Mostly_Books · 1 pointr/fantasywriters

I've seen thriller films where an assassin will carry a collapsable rifle in one of those cylindrical cases for paintings. Lengthwise you could fit pretty much any arming sword in one (which I think would be appropriate, since Arthur supposedly lived in a time before plate armor was advanced enough for two-handed swords to be feasible), though I'm not sure what kind of diameter they have. Maybe you couldn't fit the crossguard in one. I'm not sure if they come long enough to accommodate a longsword, but that seems easy enough to handwave.

And if it's a gladius style sword it would easily fit in such a case.

EDIT: I didn't even think of an instrument case, like /u/Particular_Aroma suggested. That's even more practical. Depending on the size of the instrument case, you could fit literally any size sword. A double bass case could probably fit one of those ridiculously gigantic, probably-parade-use-only great swords.

u/80sMR2 · 1 pointr/declutter

Could consider a tackle box or a craft supply box. Clear is probably more useful. Example
