Instead of a yarn bowl, you could get her a yarn valet. I normally wind my yarn into cakes and then stick 'em on here when I'm crocheting. I love it! A couple of my coworkers bought some when I told them about mine.

Here it is https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ENKLJLW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_6Y33BbZSH9PVX

However, these containers are small, so only the small tiles fit. If you want to fit the bigger tiles that the size of a hex or bigger you could get the same brand but bigger options.

I have had dogs in my class eat small scent vessels (straws, mostly) but I haven't heard of a dog eating a whole tin yet. It's certainly possible if your dog is an indiscriminate eater. I accidentally fed my Lab puppy a plastic cap the other day (I picked it up so she wouldn't eat it and accidentally put it in my treat pocket lol), so this is definitely on my mind too!

I assume you're pairing your hides if he's eating food on a tin? You could use larger scent vessels while you work through the pairing process. Try something like a travel soap dish, or a sandwich size tupperware, or a PVC end cap with a drain grate, or a larger tin. Since you're changing the criteria for the game (search for odor instead of food), it's a good idea to keep the rest of the game nice and easy for the time being anyway. Once he's solidly moved to odor, you can start shrinking your vessels and getting them out of sight.

It's actually two of these guys. Kind of pricey for just plastic, but I love being able to see all my dice so neatly.

Im thinking various sized pencil cases (hard or soft) for a lot of one thing and a label.
This beauty organizer might be of good use:
Roll-Up Organizer https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00C9CCLPE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_IPhACb0E8RNZG
Jewelry: Alezywels Hanging Jewelry Organizer Bag (56-Pockets) Dual-Sided, Thick Oxford Fabric, Zippered Storage, Clear PVC Plastic Windows, Roll-Up, Portable Travel, Rings, Earrings, Necklaces (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JBX7YNB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_2ShACb6SP6QXD
But you can find similar things specifically for tools as well like this: 32 Pocket Tool Roll Organizer - Wrench Organizer & Tool Pouch - Wrench Roll Includes Pouches for 10 Sockets - Roll Up Tool Bag for Electrician, HVAC, Plumber, Carpenter or Mechanic - From Rugged Tool https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07F232C3X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_WRhACb888AQQ5

There's a lot of different 'roll up organizer' things, typically labeled for different purposes like beauty, arts and crafts, tools, jewelry. If one that's labeled to be used for jewerly but it looks like it will work best for you then i say try it out. In my experience (but i don't have nearly as many tools nor as much experience), if it's labeled for tools it probably has too many pockets and hiding places. I'll put something in a pocket perfectly meant for this one specific thing but then spend 10 minutes looking in every pocket trying to find it. Which is why oddly enough a beauty, travel, or jewelry organizer works better for me since the pockets tend to be clear so i can see where everything is.

Haha I'm glad! :)

You can keep sentimental gifts, I keep my small sentimental items - like movie tickets and photobooth pictures in a small memories box. It's really fun to go through every couple of months.

If you're attached to the memories but can't justify keeping a sentimental gift anymore consider taking a picture of it and then letting it go (or like scanning cards). A picture still keeps the memory alive but clears out your storage space.

And yes actually I did a complete jewelry organization overhaul a couple years ago! For my desi jewelry I bought these clear photo cases from Amazon. They fit desi sets perfectly and stack on top of each other. Easy to store in a drawer, or you can buy this case box that holds all of them in one place.

Good luck! :)

Amazon! 😊

I got one of these GoKnit bags when they were on sale on Massdrop. It's nothing super special and kinda overpriced for what it is (I paid $20), but what I do like is that it has this snap on strap that you can attach to your jeans belt loop and literally walk around and knit if you so desire. The small fits two socks and their yarn in progress with room to spare. There's also an interior strap for yarn management, but I don't find it super useful if I'm not changing colors.

I used to use a small make-up case I got as a freebie with some cosmetics because it was kind of box-like, and it was coated on the outside with a plasticy material so I didn't have to worry about it getting wet or anything.

That said, I have totally rocked ziplock bags too and those work just fine.

For storage, I use one of these bins. I bought the Large size and really only need two of the three layers for now, but I'll need the third if I want to add the NPCs and Deadeye Walkers. If you remove all of the dividers from one of the layers, you can fix the Abominatroll and Abominotaur. The Abominarat is a bit too big because of the base.

For the tokens and such, I use a hardware organizer from Home Depot. I think I got one with 14 or 15 sections in it. Most of them are filled with bases and pegs, but I was also able to fit in the spawn zones, doors, etc. I've also added in my Massive Darkness tokens and everything fits fairly well.

Also, with Massive Darkness, you can fit all of the figures in an XL size of the bin I linked. I bought a Large and can fit almost everything. A friend of mine has the XL and fits everything except the Spearmaiden Cyclops.

u/danilane · 2 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

That's my newest purchase. I got it off Amazonas well, it was $25 (I have prime so almost all of my shopping is done through them).
It's not the best, but not the worst. Lipsticks fit "nicely", but my Melted ones do not fit as nicely. & I have some lip tars I put in tubes with wand applicators, those don't fit nicely either, but it works! I just didn't want to buy a huge rotating lipstick tower, because of cost & space.

Okay so on amazon it's like a little spindle thing the have, heres the link 》Yarn Valet 57102 Yarn Dispenser,... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014G1CQP0?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share and what I did was take the white thing off and trace the circle on a piece of cardboard, cut that out, trace on 3 more, cut those out, super glue them together and tape around so the yarn doesnt snag, poke a hole that will slide over the white thing in the middle, so when you press it down a bit it becomes tight on there, but still removable, then roll up a piece on construction paper, tape that around and glue it on to the cardboard for the handle 😅 it may look cheap as hell but it saves SOOOO much time!

1/3 of a 1000 pack is way less than I expected. Hmmm.

Looking at jars now. I had her pick up a 1000 bag and some jars to play around with measuring today, so I'll post the findings in a new common thread under this self-post.

Just stumbled upon this 12 pack of Perler brand tall plastic jars and this 4000 pc Neutrals box set in tubes for only a couple bucks more than 4x 1000 bag.

Seems to kill 2 birds with 1 stone... lots of black/white and the tubes come with. I might just grab a couple of these and some empty tubes. We'd have to use plastic baggies temporarily for sorting the nightmare until she runs out a few of the tubes, but I think I can find shelf space high enough away from the kid.

u/kehranfehran · 2 pointsr/beadsprites

What sort of organiser are these? Is it similar to this one in size? https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01MRSMXPD/?coliid=I34Y7PMC27JNMD&colid=2M3GMNQ3EH5YB&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

And do they fit a bag of 1000 beads in each section? I'm looking for organisers that can fit more since I have a much small organiser and its a pain to dig the beads out

A freezer is a poor choice. The cold causes condensation when you take it out, which isn't good for the electronics. Better is a metal can like the ones Altoid mints come in.

Plus it is a lot easier to bring over to your car to test that the blocking works... (smile).

It is possible to design a keyless system where instead of the car authenticating the keyfob, the keyfob authenticates the car, and then and only then the car authenticates the keyfob. Beating this would require two amplifiers, one at the car and one at the door. To add difficulty, the car and the keyfob could use the same frequency, taking turns talking and listening.

In addition, it is possible to design a keyfob system where nobody monitoring the transmissions can learn the secret code in the car or the one in the keyfob. For those who are mathematically inclined, the theory is at:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-interactive_zero-knowledge_proof

But does Subaru use such a sophisticated system?

This one works well for me! I found them at Joanns, too.

I like cylinder containers like these: (https://smile.amazon.com/Perler-Beads-80-22816-Cylinder-Storage/dp/B01LY02KTC/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1542738611&sr=8-4&keywords=perler+tall+cylinder+storage\

I put them in a box half the height of the cylinders so I can see the colors without having to open the containers. I also like how you can label the lids so it helps a look when you are looking for a specific color :)

Use them with Magnetic/steel sheets and magnets in the bases for travel, or just the cases lines with a microfiber.

90% of our games are at home, so only need a few cases with magnets or the citadel cases for travel.

Try to find something like this and cut your blunts in half to make them fit, then just put it right on top of your junk. Works literally every time. The plastic is to help keep the blunts safe from breaking.

Here's [an album] (http://imgur.com/a/Vl5j7) with somewhat better pictures; full resolution rather than re-sized. Also, [here are the tube,] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01HT9MAAW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) via Amazon. They're just sewing needle tubes, but they seal nice and tight.

I have the broken token organizer and it is really really nice, it also works well to play with because it keeps some things sorted nicely for use during the game itself which is a huge benefit of an organizer. However a problem i'm running into with my Descent collection is nearing completion and when you are playing games that require going in multiple boxes it can get tedious even when you have them in nice organizers, i bought a couple inserts for it as well as made my own foam core ones for the smaller boxes. I've decided to change it up slightly, i'm going to put all minis into an organizer made for scrap booking, i believe all the Minis will fit easily in one, i have all the cards organized into boxes i built dividers in to separate class cards, shop cards, act 1/2 monsters etc etc. Then I keep map tiles currently in a binder in clear archive sleeves

This is the cart i'm going to use for descent, it will be in later this week: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LX6FV6H/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Once I get the last 4 Hero and Monster packs for Descent i'm going to get my IA collection built up, i've currently only got Core set + all the wave minis for it plus Jabbas realm expansion so its pretty easy to keep just the two organized

I use a mix of a lot of the options mentioned by other posters but I also have a few KnowKnits bags I've been gifted and I love them. They sell onAmazon but I've seen them at yarn stores too.

I also carry a little altoids style tin with a fabric tape measure, slip and snip scissors, a cable needle, blunt needles, stitch markers, needle caps, and a knitting ring. I just move this from bag to bag.

You say "no larger", does that means there's a bit of flexibility in the actual dimensions? If so, maybe some of these are viable:

Let's see,

  1. I bought SurlyGoodDesign tokens off Etsy and I've generally liked those. Dude sent me some wrong tokens by mistake and immediately responded to my message and sent out the correct ones.
  2. I bought CurledPawCreative templates off of Etsy and those have been really nice. You have to paint them yourself but they come with tape attached so you just have to paint how you want, let it dry, then remove the tape and you're good to go. Tied to this I bought the HighbridgeDesign template tray holder (with the magnetized lid) and tournament tray that all packs up nicely.
  3. I've bought the deluxe movement dials just because they stack on top of each other nicely. Purely cosmetic
  4. My game mat is one of the FFG ones. As long as the whole thing isn't covered in crazy designs then it's not really distracting imo.
  5. I have some larger Stanley organizers for and a basic cheap card box for storing things at home. When I'm actually going somewhere I have a backpack I keep stuff in. It has the following stuff in it:
    1. Hardcase with customizable foam and affordable that I keep my Republic stuff in, including bases and movement dials
    2. Feldherr box for my rebel stuff, including bases and movement dials. This is smaller than the thing above though. The specific one I bought is one that holds the Falcon but it's no longer sold on Amazon at least. But really any of them can work.
    3. The HighbridgeDesign template and tournament trays.
    4. Card Box that has my sleeved cards, obstacles, medium bases, damage deck, and then also contains smaller plastic containers that have my dice, various other cardboard tokens, ship indicators, and my normal tokens.
      1. Token Storage
      2. Dice Storage and misc cardboard

All that said, my setup time is not super quick but I can take quite a lot with me and it's just lugging around a backpack.

I got six of these boxes for the units. They were $15 for three when I bought them but seems like the price has gone up... maybe you can find an equivalent. The size is perfect though; you can just fit the two war suns and flaghip in one compartment.

I found some that appear they will fit, though I am uncertain. I'll probably be able to pick up the case mid-October and if you are still looking I can let you know if they do. Someone provided the rough size of the foams trays in the Amazon Q+A for the skirmish case ( 2"x7.5"x9" ), and based on that I think they will be good. The closest sized containers I have found are these ones: https://www.amazon.com/BangQiao-Plastic-Adjustable-Storage-Organizer/dp/B078LS5WN1/ref=lp_14228557011_1_4?srs=14228557011&ie=UTF8&qid=1537326029&sr=8-4

u/thorax · 1 pointr/l5r

I sympathize a lot with this challenge. Been brainstorming a lot on the sort of things I'd like to see for carrying lots of tokens.

One thing I recommend you explore is craft stores-- things like this seem like the best middle-ground for token possibilities: https://www.consumercrafts.com/store/details/catalog/storage-jewelry-organizers-and-bead-storage/1150-11 -- anything for jewelry or bead storage has some possible options.

Also: https://www.amazon.com/Connect-Assortment-Cottage-connects-findings/dp/B011P5KJD6/ref=pd_sim_201_15

Not ideal, and personally I like to use the flocked smaller deck inserts that I got with a different deck box.

I have a little setup that I like and I'll share some pics of that in a little while, too, just as food for thought.
