For anyone wanting to know more/buy they're called Rattlesnake Eggs. You separate them, toss them up in the air relatively close to each other, and they snap together and vibrate/spin because they're oblong. This makes a sweet rattling sound that you can use to piss off teachers and be the coolest kid in 5th grade.

My baby sister recently turned 6 and she's obsessed with all things Frozen (mostly Elsa). You could just buy those tiny glowsticks, and tape them to the underside of your disc. They don't affect the balance or anything, when throwing/gliding, but you can see where your disc is at all times. You should be able to get them at Walmart, most likely in the party supply section, or the fishing section. (Anglers use them at night).
