I've always been a fan of blue, but as I've gotten older, the shade I prefer has changed.

A great comparison is the PS4 controller I was considering and the one I bought.

I was considering the blue controller but saw the gray blue controller and liked it more, which also lines up more with how my preference has changed over the years.

I tend to prefer more subdued blues than the brighter blues I preferred when I was younger.

Perrix Asymetrical Folding Keyboard.
This one might be tough to find, but it works amazingly. The weird fold system pushes the main hinge off to the side, so it is less likely to fold the moment you put it on your lap. It also completely hides the hinge when the keyboard is unfolded. A bit cramped, but the keys are properly clicky laptop keys.

If you're primarily going to be gaming, you might want to drop the full keyboard in favor of a bit of space plus one of these. Works nicely with a mouse if you rebind with HIDMacros. Also more tiny airport/college desk friendly. Example unit is $30

Similarly, you might want to try a half controller + mouse option using a device like the Nintendo Joy-Con's left unit. Drivers are still being worked on though, so only get this if you're up for beta troubles.

All this stuff takes a total of 3 AAA (2 for the keyboard, 1 for the numpad) and 1 AA battery that will need replacing eventually. I hesitate to recommend rechargeable ones, as I have yet to find a micro charger for them.

You might want to replace the 4 port one with one like this if you plan to do network maintenance, secure data transfer, or just plain download things quickly.

PS4 Controller.
Some people prefer this to the XBOne one. It's lighter in the hand (and bag), comes with a built in rechargeable battery with absurd life, and has a touchpad with 4 physical buttons underneath. Can do some pretty crazy things with the touchpad via Steam's controller customization, but has weaker compatibility with non-Steam applications. Also works with PS4 Remote Play.
Worth noting that, unlike the ps3 controller, this can charge directly from any micro usb power supply. Headset support seems to require the official receiver dongle, sold separately.

Phew, that's about all I have on hand.

I've had literally three XB1 controllers break in 2-3 years, compared to a grand total of ZERO XB360 controllers in all my time with that console. Always the same thing - left analog stick starts to stick / becomes unresponsive. Two of em were out of warranty. The other one, I had to ship to Texas and then they replaced it with a different, inferior colour. I tried to do a fix for the thumbstick I found on youtube but it didn't work.

DualShocks are on sale too today. I'm giving the DS4 a shot rather than sinking more money down the Microsoft hole. It sucks because I love the feel of XB1 controllers and I bought the dongle but the joystick issue is just maddening.

Yes, you'd need a PS camera also. And be sure to get 2 moves that both have the face buttons (as seen here) as opposed to one face-button move and one d-pad move like in the old PS3 days.

Yeah they are and trust me you're not alone. Both Sony and Microsoft cut back on their controllers this gen and are using cheaper plastic parts. There are plenty of videos on youtube about it. If it's not breaking, you're not playing.

I've owned the OG PS4 and now the Pro and both controllers crapped out within a few months. I strongly recommend this one.

PS4 Controller - Wave Blue: Great controller, no complaints. All of them are identical, but I do own a Wave Blue colored one.

Wireless Adaptor for PS4 Controller: Works great for me. Tried all those bluetooth dongles people use, but this has been the only thing that gives me 100% connection reliability.

Mayflash MAGIC-NS Universal Controller Adapter: This is just easier to find than the official PS4 controller wireless adapter, and looks a lot nicer, feature-wise.

Wii U Pro Controller: Is nice overall, but awkward to an Xbox 360/PlayStation 1/2/3/4 user, and I find the d-pad and face buttons a little on the small side.

PS3 Controller: Has an okay d-pad. Rest is fine.

Xbox 360 Controller: Has a terrible d-pad. Wireless dongles are prone to failure. Rest is fine.

8Bitdo Controllers: No opinion concerning them as I don't own any, but people around here seem to like them.

Nintendo Switch Pro Controller: Don't own it either. Compatible with RetroPie and Raspberry Pi's bluetooth, though I'd get Mayflash new universal wireless dongle I linked to earlier for it, to avoid the ghost inputs that happen over the Raspberry Pi's bluetooth.

Logitech Gamepad F310/F710: I did own the F310 at one point, but I didn't like the d-pad. F710 appears to use the exact same d-pad, with the added bonus of a wireless controller.

Looks to be no according to the consensus of Amazon reviews. I think I will stick with DS4Windows. On another note, Amazon is having a Gen 2 DS4 controller sale for $40

There are some, but they're quite shit to be honest. You can get a Gator Claw for the PS4 and there's a Hori one as well, but generally they're fairly poorly received I think.

You can tell the difference easily as the old Magma Red had black grips and the New model has a Reddish/burgundy coloured grips.

A trackpad can be used with your left middle finger if you hold it the right way and then you hold the right side normally to use all of the buttons. I would then hotkey the buttons as follows;

Dpad 4 item keys, remaining 2 items will be R2 and L2. X Sq. Cr. Tr. will all be Q W E R, D and F will be R3 and L3. Then you can hotkey the trackpad to right click rather than left click so you can move around. Then you can have the left stick to control the camera, turn of edge panning and you're all set to go.

Dragon Slay makes this controller intended for arcade fighting games like Street Fighter which would be the perfect controller to do all of this on as you won't need to hold it in such an unorthodox way.

I haven't wanted skins, but I did pick up a new controller recently in an awesome color combo. This. I also recommend light bar decals/stickers like these. I've had my PS4 for a few years now and the decal I put on the default controller is still on it without issue. (I hated the light shining on my tv.)

Personally, I'd recommend replacement housing over a skin. Think there are also full housing kits that would give you different colored buttons. The controllers are pretty easy to take apart.

From reading the reviews the stick is small as are the buttons. I want a full size one similar to what they have on standup arcade machines. The madcatz seems to be smaller and also 200 dollars.

As for games its not just fighting games. I also want to use it for resogun and im sure there will be a few other digital arcade games that it would work great for. For fighting games though currently MK:X looks amazing. Guilty Gear XRD and Dead or Alive 5 also are on the console although I have never played either of those games but they look pretty good. They might make a Tekken or a Street fighter. Not to mention the psn now thing so I can get ps3 games.

Side note. So from the reviews on amazon it says the stick is either 100% or 0% so its more like a D-pad. Would replacing it make it possible to have it gradually go to 100% rather then 100-0?

Unfortunately, no wired controllers for PS4 (only one I could find with any articles about was this bad boy http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gator-Claw-Wired-Controller-Black/dp/B01175TPS4). Your suggestion with the spliter cable may just work fine. With that setup, any mic that I have plugged into the mixer is what will be sent to the PS4, so how would you then make it work on the PC? Just unplug that cable from AUX Send?

Dualshock controllers have WAY more variety than the Xbone controllers in regards to colors and designs.....mainly due to promotional partnerships. There's a Star Wars theme, CoD theme, Uncharted theme, etc.

Also hasn't Sony been making more money than Microsoft due to the sell through ratio being 2-1?

It's still a DS4 stick placement, but if you're looking for smaller controllers, you can try the HORI Mini pads for PS4. They're OK for children, although I think they do lack the gyro

Then you can just add a converter to make it work. It also works with all XB360, XB1 and PS4 controllers so that can help saving money on controllers themselves as well.

Mayber it is easier for you doing a "fake" kbd by doing b bqcb.

Also if you think your throws are inkonsistent you can change those by adding a throw to a shoulder button(r1/l1).

U don't have to know every move to punish. Focus on avoiding,blocking punish moves that you are struggling with or known danger moves like demoman, snake edge or hellsweap.

It's always good watching other players on how they deal with your characters.

EDIT: There is a other version of the hori fightpad where you can change the dpad by rotation. But this is more like a stick than a pad and it has a extension:
