This grip is for the Compact / Officer sized 1911 Each grip begins life as an injection molded high strength polymer blank made from a carefully engineered mold designed to fit as many compact 1911 brands as possible. It is then custom printed using a unique, proprietary process for full color, full wrap coverage around the grip. Our unique process is kind of like a tattoo, the ink is infused into the polymer. This results in an incredibly durable design that will not wear off and is extremely difficult to scratch through (in fact you’d have to scratch through 2 mm of material to scratch all the way through the image). All of our Compact/Officer 1911 grips are compatible with ambidextrous safety and incorporate the RioGrip texture. RioGrip is a series of recessed ovals that provide a grip with more bite than smooth grips without sharp edges, like checkering, that can catch on clothing.
