Oh, I see. They're barrel hinges though. The pin is inside a steel casing, so it can't be removed:

Nope. Plumber forgot to pull it. Do you have wood floors or it's on a second story?

u/Zatchillac · 7 pointsr/battlestations

I was thinking the same. Maybe something like this

u/Matchstix · 6 pointsr/EDC
  • I stopped carrying a AAA light attached to my keys, and switched to a loose pocket carry 1x123.
  • I no longer carry a notebook. I wrecked a few in a row pretty quickly, and then fell out of the habit.
  • My phone is no longer enshrouded in a case. I really like the styling and feel of the naked Galaxy Nexus
  • My keys went from a carabiner to a swiveling key clip similar to this one.
u/smutblr · 5 pointsr/bdsm

Here's an amazon listing. Or would you like me to take a picture of a cuff connected this way to my spreader bar?

u/dontwantnone09 · 4 pointsr/homegym

If you want a "gun rack" style: I put two 2x4s, I think 7 feet tall, drilled into studs.

I have one of these, holding the 2 oly bars and my quake bar, for a total of 112 pounds.

Picture: http://i.imgur.com/YDrE7tl.jpg

The other bars are on something really similar, but I got them at K-Mart on clearance a few years back, so I'm honestly not sure the brand or make. For reference, the top one holds my trap bar and football bar, which is 120+ lbs.

u/Battleduck · 3 pointsr/skoolies

ATM the bus is stationary but I do plan on on using these ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PLTQ5CN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_BaD0DbWCMVJ18) with some L brackets mounted to the roof and the panels to keep them from flying off !

She goes in the crate with no bedding - the bare metal or plastic will just have to do her until she can get to a stage where she doesn't destroy stuff!
For water you can buy these style of buckets - this is a new zealand ad, but I am sure they are on amazon https://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=1460307065&mkwid=spKgeYxWq_dc&pcrid=185085555528&pkw=&pmt=&plid=&gclid=CjwKCAiA0IXQBRA2EiwAMODil3v_DDprD9c5GlBhOALHIm5SfZk1PPjsWPJRzxmXJomYo0GVoWbJxhoCU5oQAvD_BwE if you use a double ended dog clip (https://www.amazon.com/Brass-Double-End-Snap-Hook/dp/B0009TMUO6) you can secure the bucket so it cannot be tipped over. We have this set up for one of our dogs. If he is out for more than about 4 hours he starts annoying our other dog, or destroying his bedding. Luckily he just tears fleece blankets into strips, so he still gets a blanket in his crate, but he is getting better.

u/SaddestCatEver · 3 pointsr/LifeProTips

You know. One good bump, and you would have a falling shovel in your face.

I'd recommend actual mounts. Example:
http://www.amazon.com/LeHigh-Crawford-Flip-Holder-FTH3P/dp/B0000DH4NM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1426221272&sr=8-2&keywords=shovel+holder

u/1984Society · 2 pointsr/vandwellers

How thick is your headliner? I ask because years ago I had this same issue of hanging a divider, and I realized that I could just use industrial strength magnet swivel hooks to hold it up (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KWZW3Q8/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_awdo_t1_8NZZCbPQ6KW0K). I actually still use them, but for a different purpose in my van. Also look for 'black out curtains' and not bedsheets!

u/ZipfLaw · 2 pointsr/bodyweightfitness

For ring work freedom get a pair of ceiling mounts like These heavy duty
trapeze ones (700lb rated ea).

There's also the Rogue Ring Hanger adjustable option.

Both will need proper mounting. So study up on lag screws or consult a professional (safety first). I have the trapeze mounts myself and couldn't be happier with them.

u/Justinsaccount · 2 pointsr/Knife_Swap

Search for "kme knob" on amazon.

That finds this for example:

https://www.amazon.com/thds-Tapered-Plastic-Black-Insert/dp/B002DGC426/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=kme+knob&qid=1557025108&s=gateway&sr=8-1

Unfortunately they want $9 to ship it, so not super cost effective, but the description has the thread info you'd need to source it locally.

The Cherne 270032 Test-Ball 3-Inch Plug is very handy while trying to figure out a problem with a floor drain.

u/element18592 · 2 pointsr/hobbycnc
u/dark_dreamz · 2 pointsr/DnD

It looks nice, and kudos for putting the effort in, but I just can't get past those cringes. Why not use something like a continuous hinge, like this? National Hardware V570 1-1/16" X 12" Continuous Hinges in Nickel https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B000BPB2OW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_vaCoDbBQVER72

u/TheAlmightyFur · 1 pointr/Guitar

These are nice because they're detachable. Otherwise, hardware stores should have them.

u/distantreplay · 1 pointr/HomeImprovement

First thing you'll want to do is test the tile shower pan for integrity. To do that you'll need a 2 inch rubber test ball plug or a 2 inch inside pipe expanding test plug. Examples:
https://www.amazon.com/Jones-Stephens-Corporation-T31002-Economy/dp/B000DZGLN2
https://www.amazon.com/Cherne-270024-Test-Ball-2-Inch-Plug/dp/B000VYNU7A
You'll use those to plug the shower drain completely water tight and then fill to the top of the shower curb. Let is sit like that for 24 hours. Check underneath for visible drips and wet spots. The water level should not drop. If it does, even if you don't see leaks, you almost certainly have one. If so there's nothing for it but to break out the tile and start over. Look on the John Bridge forums or the Tile Council of North America for a thorough run down on the correct way for tile shower pans to be constructed.

I bought them at the local steel shop. No issue with them binding at all. They are much heavier then the angle iron they are welded to. They're made to be welded

Edit: Pretty much these
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002IB6HV0/ref=mp_s_a_1_4/168-4491808-1198044?ie=UTF8&qid=1483734824&sr=1-4&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&dpPl=1&dpID=31cPCGGXL3L&ref=plSrch

Now what would make a difference you could actually see easily would be adding some grommets to those cable management holes. Im guessing those are 1 inch holes so something like this would work niceley.

http://www.amazon.com/Black-Desk-Grommet-Pack/dp/B000MLCNKW/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1426092754&sr=8-10&keywords=desk+grommet

u/Emerald_Flame · 1 pointr/buildapc

Grommets are cheap. Talk to the landlord and ask if it'd be okay to install a couple: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MR9JT46/

This a fairly reasonable request that most landlords won't deny unless this is like the kitchen counter or something.

u/yazzer6 · 1 pointr/Arcade1Up

I have heard people adding wheels. It adds an inch or two of height, moves easily, and then locks into place.

Something like this
2" Swivel Caster Wheels with Safety Dual Lock Brake, PU Rubber Wheel No Noise Heavy Duty Top Plate Casters 600 Lbs (Pack of 4) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NZMMGD4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Ix7oDbS2QMY39

u/fuckuufuckingfuck · 1 pointr/ThriftStoreHauls

Not OP, but they look like these.

u/PocketSandThroatKick · 1 pointr/HomeImprovement

I can't find the post now but you put them up and paint them the same color as your trim. The q part keeps things from unhooking and you use a long pole to just hook and unhook the lights.

Edit:
here's an example

u/Kaffein · 0 pointsr/pics

You mean wallet chains... Key chain snap hooks are fine and dandy.
