Scan any surface (or animal) you like and get accurate colors!
The Nix Color Sensor blocks out all the ambient light in the room and provides its own calibrated light source, which it uses to send an accurate color reading to your smartphone.

Save colors to your smartphone with the Nix app.
We’ve replaced fan decks, tiny screens, and paper readouts with an intuitive smartphone interface that lets you organize and save color palettes, and even share your favorite colors with your friends via social media and email.

Find paint matches with your favorite brands.
Find the perfect paint match for your wall, or translate your color inspirations into breathtaking designs. We’ve taken the guesswork out of color, which lets you focus on the fun parts of interior design & decoration.

The Nix Pro can work with any color system.
Get color information in RGB, CMYK, HEX, CIELAB, and XYZ. If you’re a color nerd like us, you’ll be happy to know that we’ve programmed the Nix Pro to provide readouts in 2º and 10º observer angles. It can also switch between A, C, D50, D55, D65, and D75 illuminants as needed.

No user calibration required.
Other color measurement solutions rely on calibration tiles (or stickers) to maintain their accuracy. All of these things get soiled easily and fade within months, which is a fatal flaw in their design and makes them frustrating to use. All Nix Pro units are factory-calibrated and designed to maintain their accuracy over time.

This thing is built to last.
Not to boast, but this a smartphone accessory that will definitely outlive your smartphone. Throw it in your pocket, bag, purse, backpack, or briefcase, and it’ll be fine. If you get dirt, makeup, or dust on it, just clean it like you would a smartphone screen. Try cleaning dirt off of your fan decks.
