This clock is shaped as a 6 pointed star that releases many strips – like energy rays coming from the final explosion (same as a supernova). The zigzag shape of the rays gives a virtual 3D effect to the flat surface as if rays popped up in the space.
– Raw material: the selection of the raw material was based on the principle to keep the natural appearance of the wood as much as possible – therefore plywood was used for it bears the wood grains still strong and thin enough.
– Manufacturing process: the dial of this particular clock is laser cut from a single 4mm birch plywood board, then the finishing (polishing, painting) is made by hand. The surface remains natural (light brown) or is painted black.
– The movement: is silent (non-ticking), second hand sweeps around. It runs with 1pc. AA type 1.5V battery (not included in the package). Hands are plastic in black / white color. Unique hands are available for extra 3USD (check the last photo).
