Our very best model. A true military throwback. The Woodmans Pal� Premium has a handle of lamination of soft leather; that is cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
The grip is partly “spun” around the little finger to provide a comfortable grip in the soft leather. The special high carbon manganese steel used for all out bladed is hardened to Rockwell C47 which gives it strength for cutting and flexibility in cold weather. The Premium has a 5″ Military style leather grip with knuckle guard 1/8″ rigid steel blade that is 11-1/2″ long; make the tool 16-1/2″ overall and weighing 25.1 oz.
The blade edge is able to cut wood up to 1-1/2″ diameter with a single stroke. The unique sickle hook slices through stubborn vines and briar and removes unwanted sprout growth at ground level. If you prefer the military style this is the tool for you.
