For those asking about the controller: https://www.amazon.com/Tactical-Assault-Commander-KeyPad-Gamepad-Controller/dp/B01L8QL2N8
I don't know why people wouldn't pick up the Nacon over the Raiju.
I've used it for a while and it's been very solid. Remind me of one of the old Mad Catz 'pro' controllers and it's about half the price!
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Nacon-PlayStation-Revolution-Pro-Controller/dp/B01NBKW254/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1503869869&sr=8-1&keywords=nancon
HyperX Cloud Stinger Core for 3.5k (blue) - https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B07BB3PYD8
I use them for gaming on console and PC. Spatial audio is really good especially in competitive games like Apex. Easy on the ears if you're gonna use it for hours at a stretch, retractable and easy-adjustable mic. There's a button to turn the mic off/on and also a volume slider. I use it for the same stuff as you pretty much and the overall sound quality is pretty good.
HyperX Cloud Stinger Core for ₹1,799. Is this a good deal for a PS4 user for playing CoD?
On a similar note, I recently purchased a DualShock 4 PlayStation controller just for gaming on my Mac. No driver needed; Steam and lots of other games natively support it. It pairs via Bluetooth by pressing the PS and Share buttons for a few seconds. You can also use it wired via USB. I would highly recommend it.
I've been spending a lot of time on GameFAQS recently so I enjoyed this a lot.
Heads up though if you want a protip for the quest: It's cheaper on Amazon
Dunno about best, but I got this one and love it so far:
http://www.amazon.com/Nyko-Charge-Base-PlayStation-4/dp/B00FLLFJ68?ref_=pe_623860_70668520
Basically instead of having to plug the controller in every time, there's a small clip that stays plugged in on the controller all the time, but has a contact point on it that charges it when you settle the controller in the cradle.
I think that the rubber on the sticks coming off was an issue with some of the launch-model PS4 controllers. I think in August 2014 they started shipping a later revision that uses a slightly different compound or something.

Also you can replace the sticks:

I would recommend the tekken 7 rap4, same parts but different layout (arguably more ergonomic) and more wrist space AND has headphone plug support.

Slightly above $100 but probably the best bang for the buck:

The ps move controllers are needed for this game

Knuckles are too expensive, I expected maybe $150 in order to get most vive owners on board, but as one comparison Sony is still selling these decade old lollypops for $90: https://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Move-Motion-Controllers-Pack-4/dp/B07B4BFC6S
Another user said these will fit SN30PRO and I assume Plus, without the rubber coming off over time.

There is a remote control available:

Looks professional.
It's a minor thing but you should remove the kinks from your mouse. You only need to do it the the part that is visible on the desk.
Also, some kind of phone dock might be a good idea if you can find one that doesn't take up a lot of desk real estate. Gives the phone a home on the desk.
Maybe grab something like this for your controller so it looks like it has a place on the desk as opposed to looking like it's been put down after a gaming session. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B015KJAQX6?th=1
You seem like you are the kind of person who appreciates quality. I say this because you have a pair of HD800's. If you are such a person then I'd recommend building yourself a custom mechanical keyboard instead of having to put up with the Corsair K70 RGB. Check out /r/MechanicalKeyboards if you're interested! ^join ^usssss...
Speaking of your headphones. Again, like the controller, you should make them look like they have a dedicated place. You should get two wall-mountable headphone stands and put them up on that left hand side wall. If you wanted to sacrifice convenience for looks then you could also get a wall-mounted hook for the cables since they are detachable. I always thought that cables that hang from headphones are messy. If you remove them then they are much easier to display nicely.
Use these at the far end of the desk near the wall and make your keyboard cable tidier: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01G23R0K6/
Your cable management is quite good but can be improved:

You could just get this instead: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01A8L6O0U/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_bq-BDbKFM7HFZ
It has the same parts as the RAP 4 Kai, it costs less, and it has a superior button layout.
I like the RAP N. It has a noir layout which is my preference. Also note that if you're on PS4, you can buy it right now for $106, if you don't mind the Soul Calibur 6 art (or don't mind switching it).

I'm always gonna reccomend HyperX headsets. I have bought other "gaming" headsets and after I got my first HyperX I seriously will never switch to anything else.
On a budget:

I've owned the stinger, the cloud, and the cloud 2. To be honest I didnt notice much difference between the cloud 1 and 2 except that the mic is a bit clearer since it can noise cancel.
edit: The stinger is a very good headset for the price though, they mostly cut costs on it by removing the metal bits and attaching the microphone. It won't stand up to someone who rages and throws their headsets though (rip my stinger, damn you mary).
You might do a deep dive into /r/headphones and you could ask in /r/headphoneadvice — I think what they’ll tell you is that if you were to buy a “gaming headset” with your $300 budget, you end up sacrificing some of your potential sound quality in order to get that microphone attached.
Whereas you can buy a really nice pair of headphones and then spend $30 or less on a V-Moda BoomPro Mic (or something like it) which basically acts as the cord between your headphones and headphone jack and has a flexible boom mic, a volume dial, and a mute switch. There’s another one that you can stick to the side of one of the headphones either with a magnet or sticky too, depending on the type of headphones you buy and what you prefer.
I bought a pair of Fidelio X2/HR headphones that cost $325 just over a year ago, but you can get them for $150 now. Really comfortable band that operates sort of like ski goggles so it doesn’t squish your head, and will fit a fucking watermelon if it needs to. I bought them because I was looking for a “unicorn” that I could wear for movies, games, TV, and music. They sound fantastic, though they’re even better when you plug them into an amp/DAC (I plug them into my home theater receiver’s headphone out jack and crank it up).
Another really highly recommended one are these Sennheiser HD600 Open Back Headphones for $300 from Amazon Prime right now.
Or there’s these BeyerDynamic DT 770 Pro Studio Monitor Headphones that come with an Antlion ModMic so you don’t have to buy the microphone separately, and they’re $189 from Amazon right now, and you could spend the remainder of the $300 on a dedicated headphone amp/DAC that will boost the volume/bass/output and help you get the most from them.
Another popular recommendation is a more traditional gaming headset — the Arctis Steel Series Pro + Game DAC for only $175 — the DAC boosts the headphones and provides DTS:X Headphone (for virtual surround sound). It’s the wired edition, but you could pay more for a wireless if you want.
Anyhow, maybe this will be helpful and give you a couple ideas, but they should help you more in /r/headphone advice if you tell them your budget and what you’re trying to do and what you’re looking for. Read the sidebar so you know the posting format so more people will respond. Hope you enjoy whatever you get! A home theater system is worth saving up for, and eventually you can turn a 5.1 system into a Dolby Atmos system by adding two height channels (so long as you invest in a receiver that is Atmos capable from the start). Come the PS5, I’m hopeful they’ll support it and DTS:X as the XBOX One does now, but they’re also working on their own 3D sound format. Go to a home theater store and have them demo DolbyAtmos for you (especially on a game if possible) and you’ll see how much it adds. You can get a decent home theater system for far cheaper than you used to be able to, but it’s worth it to save up the money and buy something you’re really gonna be proud to own for at least 5-10 years if not longer.
Yeah a lot depends on the mic quality. I party chat with a buddy pretty regularly, and when we first used the ear bud mics that come with the system the sound quality was pretty sub-par. We both bought replacement chat headsets, I bought the Rocketfish from best buy, he got the Turtle Beach P4C and the chat quality is noticeably better.
Most 120hz TV's are really 60hz displays with software that makes it look smoother. Many TV's come with a game mode that disables the software because it adds input lag. Also look out for input lag in TV's. Some brands tend to have a higher input lag but generally Sony, Samsung, LG, and Vizio are pretty good.
I'd definitely pick a 1080p display over a 720p one. Even though a few games like assassins creed unity output at 900p the ps4 will scale it up to 1080p and there is a very noticeable difference between 720p and 1080p.
If you have kids or need to be quiet at night pick up a pair of headphones. They can plug right into your controller and the games audio will go through them. If online will be your thing skip the headphones and pick up a headset. Sony's gold wireless headset is a pretty good one and should be on sale either right now or by Monday. No cooling fans will be necessary but make sure you have a spot set up that gives your ps4 enough room. If you're picking up a second controller consider picking up a charging station that plugs into an outlet. I have the nyko one and it has been great so far but I've also heard really good things about the power A one. If you're not getting a second controller don't worry about buying a dock. I don't own the PS camera or a sound bar/sorround sound system so I can't really help there.
Here's a few TV's that an input lag website recommends for gaming: http://www.displaylag.com/best-hdtvs-gaming-2014-introduction/

The sticks http://www.amazon.com/Replacement-Controller-analog-Thumbsticks-Playstation-4/dp/B00IL92TSI/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1409099411&sr=1-1&keywords=ps4+thumbsticks
how to replace them
https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/DualShock+4+Analog+Stick+Covers+Replacement/22675
I got this for that very reason. I know it uses the ports on the front, but it is also handy for charging ... and it looks good too!
I presume the signal passes through from 3.5 to USB. No D-A-C is taking place.
So to answer your question yeah your not getting the full benefit without a preamp.
ATH-M50x are stereo headphones with pretty high marks on amazon.
It doesn't appear to have a mic.
I hear good things about the Astro Mix amp pro (preamp) and you can use your current headphones or another brand. It connects to the PS4 via optical cable and you will connect you Headphones via provided 3.5mm cable. This will give you 7.1 Surround Sound. Also can be hooked into a PC to interface with music and other apps you can use while gaming or twitch streaming.

Or you could buy the bundle with preamp and headphones together
https://www.amazon.com/ASTRO-Gaming-A40-Headset-MixAmp-PlayStation/dp/B014F77FGA/ref=sr_1_1?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1478021258&sr=8-1&keywords=astro%2Ba40Tr&th=1
I currently just have the headphones, and it's only stereo from audio jack from controller or 3.5 to usb adapter. It still sounds amazing. Has a detachable mic and custom plates and head pad you can swap out . Build quality is the best I have ever seen. I do plan on picking up the Astro mix amp pro later.
It's kinda hard to compare studio monitor headphones with gaming headphones. Two different kind of tools .
Madcatz alpha or the Hori mini either should be good for a kid

Awesome thanks for all the responds guys!
im probably going to try it on PC and see how it plays maybe end up getting it for both.
looking into getting that new Tekken 7 Hori fightstick. i really like the black one thats meant for PS4 but since dont have a PS4 im kinda stuck getting the white one unless i only play on PC or just get a brooks super converter. i also noticed that the PS4 tekken fightstick has a few more features like Turbo that the xbox one version does not.

take a look if your dare...very tempting..lol
So I'm not sure why, but the Soul Calibur stick is 93 bucks right now. It's a pretty good stick.
As far as I know, it's completely identical to this stick. I've got this one and it's pretty good. Hori's Hayabusa stuff isn't generally the first choice, but it's definitely good enough.
For the record, you can change the artwork if you really want to. It's a bit time consuming, but an easy DIY project. This is mine. The hardest part is really just removing the old artwork as it's bonded to the metal. After that it's pretty basic.
Same stick is on Amazon for less/same.

The soul calibur edition is even cheaper on Amazon for anyone interested.

Hi. I wanted to comment on this because I recently got this headset and I spent some time experimenting with some diffo sound mixes. What I've tried so far is just regular ole stereo that downmixes whatever you put in, the dolby headphones that this virtual 7.1 surround card does, and dolby atmos for headphones and here's what I've learned from the 3 compared.
So with both both Dolby Headphones and Dolby Atmos Headphones you get this awesome expanded sound stage and it sounds like the sound is more 'out of your head' and helps alleviate the cramped sound stage inherent to closed back headphones. However, the sound card's solution (Dolby Headphones) adds a ton of reverb so situations where you're listening to vocals or someone talking it sounds like they're in a really echo-y room. On top of that, dolby headphones completely destroyed positional sound for me. I no longer could tell the source of a noise, a problem I didn't have with Dolby Atmos Headphones or with plain ole stereo.
TBH, I think the dongle/usb sound card you get is garbage. My xbox one controller appears to have a higher ohm output (based on very non-scientific listening tests) and the virtual surround sound is worthless unless you are only listening to very textured music and don't mind the reverb.
Dolby Atmos Headphones was p. great though. I got the best of both worlds and didn't notice any sound degradation. Fortunately, since it's just software, you can use it with any set of headphones. Unfortunately I can't get it on my linux work station when I'm listening to music during the work day :/
That was a lot of unsolicited opinion, but I hope it's helpful anyhow.
EDIT: I'm actually not sure if the dongle is 'Dolby Headphones' or a diffo technology. Either way I didn't like w/e the dongle was doing to my positional sound.
Are you a golem? Just kidding you should try this controller https://www.amazon.de/Revolution-Pro-Playstation-Controller-PS4/dp/B01NBKW254 make sure you read some reviews there is also ps4 controllers from hori, razor etc... have fun
It states that. But I ordered it anyway and chose the "AmazonGlobal Priority" shipping. I kept waiting for it to be canceled before it shipped but I received it yesterday.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01NBKW254/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The black & copper pair don't look as cheap as the black & blue pair but I'm surprised Audeze is branching into the gaming market. I figured they were too far into the boutique market but nothing wrong with expanding the product stack. I see a couple big issues with these though:
Head tracking is a meh worthy gimmick too. Monitor manufacturers have been pushing eye tracking the past year or so which is more compelling because I don't move my head drastically enough during a session & certainly not enough to want to see data about it.
And finally, at $400 retail they're more expensive than just about everyone else. I don't see these doing all that well tbh. Cynical take but I feel my reasoning is justified.
HyperX Cloud Stinger Core - Gaming Headset for PS4, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One headset, Over-ear wired headset with Mic, passive noise cancelling, VR (HX-HSCSC-BK) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BB3PYD8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_rSjvDbQWNTS09
These are good for console
CORSAIR HS60 - 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound PC Gaming Headset w/USB DAC - Discord Headphones - Compatible with Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch - Carbon (Renewed) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KFS4ZDN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_LTjvDb6AKTY12
These are good for both but are renewed
This charging station uses the mini-usb port to charge, so if you got that you should be able to keep the headset plugged in while charging. All the others seem to use the charging connector that's next to the headset plug though, making it so you have to remove the headset.
pretty good reviews on amazon
http://www.amazon.com/PDP-Energizer-Charging-Station-PS4-PlayStation/dp/B00EADTVL2
If mono is your thing (it is for me, I like to hear my game sound through TV and any talk through headset) then you could pick up the Turtle Beach P4C £16.99
Had mine for over 2 years now, amazingly good value for money and definitely comfortable to wear (I use it for Skype now more than PS4 controller)
I've got my 7.1 setup in my basement so I'm just going for a Turtle Beach P4C that plugs into the controller. Got it preordered along with BF4 and AC4.
Will this work for you?
http://www.amazon.com/Turtle-Beach-Ear-Force-playstation-4/dp/B00EI4V3FU/ref=sr_1_25?ie=UTF8&qid=1382809715&sr=8-25&keywords=ps4+headset
Turtle Beach Ear Force is $14 right now. I use it. People in the reviews say that it's not loud enough for them but I don't have any problems with them.
I recommend the Nyko charge base -- it has a dongle that plugs into the controller via the micro usb port, that then allows you to charge the charger without continually plugging into the controller.
http://www.amazon.com/Nyko-Charge-Base-PlayStation-4/dp/B00FLLFJ68
I'm a bit concerned that continuing to plug into and out of the usb port will eventually damage it. The micro usb port doesn't seem too sturdy.
This this this this this
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FLLFJ68/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
No need to plug the controllers in, you just drop them on and boom charging.
It works by plugging in a little dongle into the DS4 that does not get in the way of anyones fingers. Then it works just like a charging pad, you drop it in the slot and the connectors meet and starts a charge.
I just bit the bullet and bought these yesterday
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HSR3CQW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I'm skeptical about the huge difference in size but a couple of friends use them and they swear it's an amazing change. For 12.99 you can't go wrong and you don't need to take the controller apart.
If you want to stay as close to origiinal as possible I would go with these:
http://www.amazon.com/Replacement-Controller-analog-Thumbsticks-Playstation-4/dp/B00IL92TSI/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=undefined&sr=1-1&keywords=ps4+thumbstick
Did you buy this? http://www.amazon.com/Turtle-Beach-PlayStation-Upgrade-Headset-Compatibility/dp/B00JC5Y9LK
This is what I bought for my px22 to work properly with the ps4.
If you can't get USB working, is there a way you can get optical or coax output from your PC into the AD18? A lot of motherboards have one or both onboard.
If not, you could try something like this. It's a "PS4" sound device but appears to be a standard old USB device that will work on a PC as well.
You won't be taking a hit in fidelity or anything like that, either way you'll be getting pure digital 1's and 0's to the AD18.
(Sorry I can't troubleshoot the AD18 USB directly, I don't have one)
I have a Turlte Beach Earforce P11 I use, tho for it to work on both you need an adapter. They make one called the DAC1 ( digital to analog converter ). I have big ears and I can use them for about an hour before I have to take a rest from them.
Though the link I provided for the P11 doesn't offer any new, the adapter is designed to work with various models of headsets. Not the best option maybe, but it will work for both consoles.
I use this to split the audio and get no delay
https://www.amazon.com/Turtle-Beach-PlayStation-Upgrade-Headset-Compatibility/dp/B00JC5Y9LK
Yeah, I would much prefer to buy the Silver Wired Headset, and use it's amp, as opposed to the $130 Astro Mixamp.
Also, I found a Digital-to-Analog Converter from Turtle Beach's Upgrade Kit (Amazon) and also an Ear Force processor/converter (Amazon)
Would these also work? They are a lot cheaper. If not I might just buy the Silver Wired Headset and use it's adapter.
(edited: for redundancies.)
I agree with RossaF1. I have speakers on my display but I have an old Soundblaster Omega 3D headset that uses a 3.5 audio jack on the receiver base. Rather then plug it into my display or run it to the control I use the Turtle beach optical to 3.5 convert from the ps4 kit below. This would allow you to just hook up the Xbox One to any pair of 3.5 jack speakers.

Here's my setup
Yes, yes, I know, I have a CRT instead of a flat screen TV. If you'd also notice, I play more old consoles than new and CRT is superior to flat screen for them (and much cheaper). Ideally I'll be upgrading to a small (~20") Sony Trinitron. The 32" ones are free and widely available but they're sooooo big and heavy.

Just got a Wii motion sensor bar so I can play light gun games on my PC and use the WiiMote as a remote control. Also thinking about racing games with the steering wheel attachment. Monitors are from Craigslist ($35 and $10 respectively). CRT was a gift from a friend. It's dying though (discoloration). Pre-amp and speakers were also gifts from friends. PC and consoles I bought myself.
The Glacier White DS4 is actually cheaper than the standard black controller right now on Amazon.
It would be nice to have the 20th Anniversary version, but releasing it publicly and separately would diminish the entire concept of what they were trying to do with the anniversary edition in the first place.
Appears to still be going on. $50 is still high. Need to decide if I like her enough to buy her one for $50...

Thanks for the heads up.
If he's playing a combination of both new games and older games, via emulators, I would strongly recommend the Dualshock 4 along with the adapter to get it working on PC
If you have limited space and only 1-2 controllers, I’ve found the Nyko Modular Charge Station to be a good product. The one I have is different than the one pictured in the product listing on Amazon, but still works great.
If you watch Blu-rays or stream movies/TV with your PS, the PDP Bluetooth Enabled Media Remote Control is really nice to have. Sadly, it doesn’t work while playing games, as I had hoped in order to automate my gameplay of Injustice 2.
There's a media control you can get, nowhere near as expensive as another control
EDIT: Here you go
PlayStation 4 Universal Media Remote https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZJRHSZO/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_dJbFwbGGSSETF
This one? I wasn't sure if there were any others recommended since this only has 2.5 stars.
Got you covered! I use this with my PS4 and TV. Volume controls work through my sound bar without having to switch inputs. It works well.
Don't like the official 3rd party one bruh? ps4 Universal remote

I don't play much shooters any more so im not in that scene, but from what i remember Astro A40s are the most popular option for call of duty especially. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014F77FGA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_h30XBbWKDD999
Uhhh, I have Astro A40s with mix-amp pro. Good quality, doesn't require recharging and has long cables. You can find it here for Best Buy if you need it ASAP.
Best Buy matches Amazon's price which can be found here since they are in stock, shipped, and sold by Amazon.
Currently I'm just using my Astro A40's. Is it overkill? Maybe, but they're comfortable and they stay put without having to constantly readjust them. A giant plus is that they completely drown out any trainer noise (and the wife 😆), so it's just me and the music, trainer video, or whatever it is that I'm listening to.
Ya just a stand
Ever think about using one of these?
The MadCatz Fight Stick Alpha features a six button layout, and is portable/mod-able. From what I understand, you can just clip the buttons out that are hardwired, add quick connects to the ends of the clipped wires, then just add your Sanwa buttons in that way.

NP and good luck! If your heart is dead set on that design, $400 isn't a terrible deal considering a broken TE2+ goes for at least $200 (for some goddamn reason), the EZ mod/Brook UFB combo is another $140, and you'll be lucky to ever find red side panels to begin with, let alone pay less than $70-$100 for them.
Otherwise, you can save $150-200 or so and get a HORI pad that's just as good, if not better. They even make a Tekken 7 version if you can find it.

The main brands are madcatz, hori, qanba and razr.
Everyone seems to like those and you can usually customize them to your liking.
Some players like sanwa buttons but others like semitsu and some like ball top but others like bat top and some like heavy sticks but others...most like heavier sticks.
I've never heard anything bad about the brands I've mentioned.
Also, you can always customize the art work for cheap yourself so don't worry about how it looks.
The one that immediately comes to mind is the Hori SoulCalibur 6 one:

It has all the things you listed. I'm not sure if the base version (Real Arcade Pro N) has the octo gate though.
HORI Real Arcade Pro N is good, Ive had mine for over a year now with no issues. Very easy to mod
This is the exact same stick but $50 cheaper
Hey /u/Gemini_99, I have a HORI Tac Grip that I purchased but never ended up using. It's basically half a controller. Sounds like it might be perfect for you. It can be set up to either emulate a PS4 controller, or function as a native KB+M. And you can plug any mouse into it too. I would happily give it to you for free if you think it might be good... it's just collecting dust right now.
How can Blizzard ban people for using official Sony licensed PS4 hardware?

I also wear glasses, usual gaming sessions via PC or PS4 that typically last 4-6 hours. Also use these for quite a bit of YouTube viewing while on the PC. Huge Turtle Beach guy for most of that time (DPX-21, PX-5, PX-4). Always had tons of issues with the stems of my glasses pressing into my temples and making the tops of my ears hurt.

Bought a set of Steel Series Arctis 7 in October, and I’m in love with them. Steel frame headband with a suspension strap, so you barely feel the weight of them at all on your head, and the ear cups do not press AT ALL on the stems of my specs.

I surprisingly held back when it comes to makeup/skincare, since I just found some good Winners stuff last weekend.
BUTTTT I did take advantage of KKW Beauty’s sale, I got the Classic Palette, the new version of the Cream Highlight Stick, and the new version of her Cream Contour Stick. I heard that they have a tonnnn more product in them than the dual sticks?
I spent a lot on tech, finally got my hands on this Nintendo Switch!! Also got Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee, Mario Kart, and Rocket League!
For PC gaming, I ended up investing in a good pair of headphones: GLOWING RGB SteelSeries gaming headphones, I’m sooooo in love with them. Also got a new RGB keyboard and mouse combo from CoolMaster, and a wireless charging pad/headphone stand because I love dual purpose things lol.
Also got a surprisingly large amount of cute home stuff from Forever21’s Cyber Monday sale.
As you can see I’m all over the place lol.

The move controllers with just buttons (these) are the ones that work with PSVR. You can either use the versions released with PS3 or newer updated ones for PS4: the only difference is that the newer version has longer battery life and uses micro usb to charge instead of mini usb. You'll want two move controllers as most games that require them require one for each hand.
The move controller with a thumbstick (this) is the navigation controller. It is unused in all currently released PSVR games and likely will not be used in the future as it cannot be tracked in VR by the camera. One game has been announced to support it, but even then people are skeptical as to whether that info is correct.

Not much of a price diff from your steelseries headphone
In terms of comfort, they barely fit my ears and mine are proportionally sized to my over 6' tall body. They also make my ears sweat. They're okay but you can find other brands that are similar for a little less.
I'll save the story of my adventure in headphones and just say the ATH-AD700X are probably my personal pick for headphones for people with big ears but I've heard pretty much any of the Audiotechnica headphones are about the same comfort.
https://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-AD700X-Audiophile-Open-Air-Headphones/dp/B009S332TQ
I bought the ATH-AD700 (no longer sold) for their accurate sound quality and high quality comfort. They're not exactly portable, so I don't get to wear them as much as I'd like to but they've been my favorite headphones for a decade now. I spent a stupid amount of time reading head-fi.org forum threads about headphone recommendations before picking the ATH-AD700 out and they did not lie about the pros and cons related to them.
My second choice but I never bought them because of price were the DT 990 headphones. I knew I'd have to buy an amp for them and the price isn't exactly cheap either.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00193FT26/?coliid=I2F1YZCSXF66N7&colid=1BOTIPM7PEEBD&psc=0
Of course, their cheaper line, the DT 770, is probably just about as good and don't require such a powerful amp.

If you're looking for something cheaper with a mic attached, try the HyperX Cloud Stinger.

Alternatively, just google "headsets for big ears" and see what looks good to you. This list actually seems to do a decent job explaining the advantages from a gamer perspective.

I made a post earlier today describing it a little bit. I do like it and it looks sleek set up next to my ps4. It also uses a wall outlet for power so i dont have to use a USB.
The only issue I have ran into is that once the controller is fully charged it changes the color of the light bar to a solid blue untill its removed from the charger. Some other charging stations seem to just turn off the light bar all together to let you know its finished charging while this one stays lit up always. Other than that though its nice.

Thing is, your PS4 Pro Analogy is wrong. A PS4 Pro is $400. Four Controllers (the exact same you factored into your pricing) is $180. Since there's no screen protector, let's just not include that- let's subsitute the Pro Controller for the EMiO Elite Controller for PS4 , which is $80. We'll substitute the charging grip for the PDP Energizer 2X Charging Station for PS4 , which retails for $20- then we add in a Micro USB cable (which are usually cheaper than USB-C) that I found on Amazon that I found for $5. Add a 128gb SD Equivalent of this SanDisk Ultra Fit 128GB USB Drive for $31, That's a grand total of $736- WITHOUT equivalents for some of the items, and with no games.
I got the same deal, and I actually hate the fact that I have to keep that little dongle in my controller. I think I'm going to pick up this one because it uses the ext port in the bottom
Accessory sales.
I bet Sony will have "Official" charging stands for sale immediately after release or shortly after. You can already buy DS4 charging stands on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/PDP-Energizer-Charging-Station-PS4-PlayStation/dp/B00EADTVL2/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=5UAWIPFGZBOU&coliid=I36BQRWYN6S6IW
I have a ps3 version of this. It works great, but sometimes its a pain to get the charging port to line up right to attach the controller.
Thanks~ I'm using this and haven't had any issue with charging :)

>Even though everyone gets a mic with their PS4, I've never met a single person using a mic in 7 hours of playing.
While I don't necessarily agree with you (I would absolutely hate if everyone would be allowed to talk everyone, especially in the tower), can we please talk about that PS4 mic?
Honestly, I feel it would have been better if they just didn't give anyone a mic in the first place. If you would want everyone to talk, you wouldn't want them to be using this mic. I used it because I didn't have anything else in the house (and my PS3 bluetooth headset doesn't work ...) and it's just absolutely god-awful.
Something like this is only going to cost you about 20 bucks and will probably be dramatically better than that piece of shit they give you.
After many many years of online gaming I personally don't think any game should allow voice chat "out of the box", but that's just my opinion. In any case, sony hasn't done anyone a favour with that mic.

I use this mic for just chatting and it works great.
Haven't used it myself, so this is more of an option than a recommendation, but I've seen the Turtle Beach P4C recommended by others along the way.
I grabbed one of these a while ago for $25 and it's been great, Turtle Beach P4C.
Not a full headset and the ear cup is open, so you still get all your TV and ambient audio.
Why not use the stereo headset adapter? There are chat headsets out there like the Turtle Beach P4C that just have a 3.5mm jack. You can plug any one of them into the controller adapter and it would be the same thing.
I would go with this charging station http://www.amazon.com/Nyko-Charge-Base-PlayStation-4/dp/B00FLLFJ68 I have one and it works great and for the headset I actually like the Gold Wireless Headset http://www.amazon.com/Gold-Wireless-Stereo-Headset-playstation-4/dp/B00HVBPRUO/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1404825848&sr=1-1&keywords=ps4+headset+wireless.
An extra dualshock 4 is a must. Always nice to have a spare. I prefer a charging stand over a cable (i only use the cable to sync my controllers), and a vertical stand. Also a Vita is a must have but you can always get one later.

Also some Astro A40s and you're all set!
I have the Nyko station, which is great. http://www.amazon.com/Nyko-Charge-Base-PlayStation-4/dp/B00FLLFJ68/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1412059681&sr=8-1
It has charging indicator lights and comes with dongles you leave plugged into the controllers, so all you need to do is just drop them in to the charging station, you don't press them in or anything.
i'm a big fan of my nyko charging station. they have a newer model but I prefer the one that doesn't require the use of the ps4's usb ports. the ability to simply drop a controller effortlessly onto the cradle and not having to deal with micro usb ports via their little dongle adapter thing is pretty sweet
I bought some replacement sticks on Amazon and just swapped them out when they started to wear. Once those wore out I said fuck it and went and bought 2 new controllers.. Nothing beats the feel of a new controller.
Got these here
http://www.amazon.com/Replacement-Controller-analog-Thumbsticks-Playstation-4/dp/B00IL92TSI/ref=sr_1_3?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1452635740&sr=1-3&keywords=PS4+joystick
You can buy these to replace worn down joysticks but they won't do a thing to fix your L3 and R3 buttons. Press down lightly, it's a controller not a nuclear launch button :p
EDIT: try these out too http://www.amazon.com/Replacement-Silicone-Controller-Joystick-360-Controllers/dp/B00OXT579S/ref=sr_1_7?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1452635902&sr=1-7&keywords=PS4+joystick
Jesus christ... I'm trying to eat over here!

Amazon I would say. I tried a couple of different brands and both were ok; I would recommend to stay in the 3 - 4 $ price range and to avoid the 20x or 10x packs. The ones in the videos are these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00IL92TSI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I just got these today and tossed them onto my OG SN30 Pro. The fit like a glove and work well. I tried contacting 8bitdo but I have no idea how long it'd take. From here I heard between 6-8 weeks. I reached out to them on May 22 and still haven't gotten any yet. You could probably go cheaper or stretch your money further with a pack of about 6. If i'd have, known i'd have replaced them months ago. But I read that DS4 sticks wont fit due to sitting higher or something and you'd have to file the stick down or something.
Just ordered these, they look like the new ones in the picture but guess I'll see once they arrive.

I tried the xbox ones and did not like them, I bought these on amazon and they are still in perfect condition.

Hi again!
I am just home now and all is working well with OBS so thanks for that! I am still having that problem however with my Headset.
What I want:
-To have sound coming through my headset connected to my PS4 AND to record sound on OBS of my game at the same time.
What's happening:
I am hoping it is a software issue where it can be solved by changing a setting. However, I think it might have something to do with using a splitter of some sort like this.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
How can I use this as a portable dac with an MP3 player?
Turtle Beach Ear Force PS4 Headset Upgrade Kit for Turtle Beach Headsets https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00JC5Y9LK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Y5MIDbSG3JB60
I have one of these with the relevant cables, and I’m wondering if there’s any easy way to use this as a portable dac1 with a MP3 player as a portable setup
Any help massively appreciated
I am using the turtle beach ps4 upgrade kit as my DAC and passing the audio via male to male 3.5mm cable into the mic port on my PC. My PC just passes the audio through to the speakers. I've been using this setup for over a year and as far as I can tell there isn't any lag.
The DAC I am using: https://www.amazon.com/Turtle-Beach-PlayStation-Compatibility-Discontinued-Manufacturer/dp/B00JC5Y9LK
Buy this one? https://www.amazon.com/Turtle-Beach-PlayStation-Upgrade-Headset-Compatibility/dp/B00JC5Y9LK/ref=pd_sim_63_4?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00JC5Y9LK&pd_rd_r=D9B6P2KPT48N1C7F68WK&pd_rd_w=FdVEj&pd_rd_wg=KbdpX&psc=1&refRID=D9B6P2KPT48N1C7F68WK This should work perfectly. You need an Optical Converter. Plus the Chat Cable Which is all included here. I don't see why it's shouldn't work here.
I reccomend getting this http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Upgrade-Headset-Compatibility-TBS-0115-01-4/dp/B00JC5Y9LK
It upgrades the audio to digital and is your best bet if you don't want to buy a new headset.
I got an adapter for my headphones from best buy. It's an optical+usb (for power) to 1/8"+use.
I don't see why you couldn't put a 1/4" to 1/8" adapter on it to get it to work.

But more importantly than all......... HAPPY CAKE DAY! I hope you have a wonderful one.
I got the Dualshock 4 controller in Crystal White since I'm currently using an ancient rumblepad.
Talked to a chat rep who gave me the code when I whined that my pokemon preordering friends already got one 😂
Here is the white dualshock in case you're interested. Says it's in stock on 6/17.
I got the one sold by Amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KVP76G0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Got it on Dec 31st.

Best Play Station 4 purchase I've bought is modular charging station I don't have to mess with the micro USB wires anymore. You just plug in a small clip that goes on the charging port of the controller, plug in the base into the 2 usb charger ports on the ps4. There is 2 slots and all you do to charge the controllers is set them on top of the port. The front base has 2 lights that turn on (depending on which slot you set controller on) that lets you know it's charging.
The only down side is you can't game and charge at the same time. Just buy 2 controllers and switch them out.
I've had 'em since a month or two after ps4 release and they work great. I need something like that for my phone.
> I'm asking if there's some peripheral I could buy that would allow me to do that.
https://www.amazon.com/Nyko-Modular-Charge-Station-Black-PlayStation/dp/B00MUTAU4A/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1497805339&sr=8-2&keywords=nyko%2Bps4%2Bcharger&th=1 <-- I thought this would allow me to do that without shelling out another few hundred for a PS4 Pro since that does have USB on the back.
This is my all time favorite charger. takes up both USB ports but you can unplug it if you need them. You plug a small thing into your controller and leave that in forever. then you just put the controller on the indent and it charges. no plugging things in and out all the time. If you have 2 controllers, one can be always charging and you can switch back and forth if one dies. Makes gaming way more fun when you don't have to plug in and sit super close to the PS4.
I prefer this one myself.
I have this one. It is awesome.
http://www.amazon.com/Nyko-Modular-Charge-Station-Black-PlayStation/dp/B00MUTAU4A
This is why is use this it has little magnet usb thing that stays in the controller the whole time, I knew that would be the first thing to break having to keep putting it in and out.
I have this one. There are microUSB connectors for the controllers with gold contact points and then you just set the controller on the charging station. It works great and fits within the shelf I have the PS4 on.
https://www.amazon.com/Nyko-Modular-Charge-Station-Black-PlayStation/dp/B00MUTAU4A/
Not sure if anyone else has thought of this but just thought I'd share. Greatly reduces the clutter since it moves the two USB ports in the front to the rear and especially if you get shorter cables too.

Dear audiophiles,
my question in short: what is/how do I find out the infrared code to control a Teufel Decoderstation 5 via universal remote?
I purchased the universal remote for PS4, hoping that I would be able to control all my devices with it. Bluetooth pairing with the PS4 works just fine as does the IR pairing with the TV. My audio system though is a Teufel e300 with the according Decoderstation 5.
The auto pairing function of the remote is unsuccessful - it seems to trigger some random function, but doesn't manage to turn off the device as it should. Next step would be manual pairing. However, I cannot seem to find the necessary IR code. Even the manufacturer itself appears to have no clue what the IR code is. Obiously, my online research didn't produce results, otherwise I wouldn't post here.
Are there any previous experiences with this issue? Is there any way to find out the code?
I'd appreciate your support!
EDIT: I managed to pair a universal remote app on my phone with the Decoderstation 5, thus it definitely is possible.
As others have mentioned, the PS4 remote works well with Vue: https://smile.amazon.com/PlayStation-4-Universal-Media-Remote/dp/B00ZJRHSZO
Yep. As touched upon below, it turning off after a certain amount of time without touching it is very annoying. Couple that with the fact that it eats through batteries quickly, as well as being generally unresponsive, and it becomes rather annoying. Just go check out the reviews for it on Amazon and you'll see what I mean.
old or new. Funny enough, they're the same price now!
THE EXACT ONES I PURCHASED

I currently use ASTRO A40 TR Headset + MixAmp Pro TR. The white is for Xbone and the black is for Playstation. To get these to work on PC you just need to plug in via USB and you get Dolby 5.1 and chat. On console you need the optical cable for sound and USB in console for chat. I really likes these headphones because I use my PC and console at the same desk and this actually allows me to chat on my PC while getting audio from my Xbox at the same time. The amp even has a built in volume mixer for chat audio and game audio. It's really nice.
That's cheap a f. Amazon selling a40 TRs for $320 cnd. Make sure it comes with a mix amp if you using it on console. Mix amp by it self is like $120. https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B014F77FGA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_UMi4wbHDYXG1A
I have the Astro Gaming A40 TR Headset and they have Dolby Surround 7.1. It Sounds Great.
If budget is no concern, go south the Astro a40 tr edition. Very nice. I've had them for over 2 years now and no problems.

you could always go for a madcatz alpha if you like arcade sticks but want something more portable, or obviously a fightpad if you really want a controller
if you're dead set on a gamepad, either the xbox one gamepad or the steam controller, since you can set to analog to act as a clicky arcade stick when you set the haptics all the way up (which is what I used to use)
1) Fight sticks. you do not need a fight stick to play street fighter nor do you need one to be good players like SonicFox and Luffy play on playstation controllers, theres no inherent advantage besides a few input techniques and in some cases a stick can give the game a rewarding feel or the game to "click in your head"
Maxalillion goes into this quite in depth i recommend you watch his video on the mater to further your opinion on the matter.
I've been recomending Fightsticks for alot for people on reddit when these threads come up and with friends in person and i have to say due to feed back though you may not want to spend upwards $200-$300 on a stick but sticks in this range particularly the Hori mini4 and Mad catz alpha though built well for beginners will be uncomfortabel to use or leave you longing for more. i would only recommend those sticks if you want you kids to play with you and not on your big daddy stick or you are deathly on the edge or very skeptikal on buying a stick. if you are trying to be a little serious and maybe want to attend arcades it is better to get a higher end stick as they last longer, preform a little better and will be a bit comfortable to use. i personally recommend the Hori Rap4 Kai as it is very high quality and the cheapest one the mad catz TES+( is just as good but more expensive (its the same price right now thats a steal!) And the best of both worlds is the sony venom around 86 us with the conversion and bought on the amazon.uk site very good stick and is easy to mod when you are ready. these sticks are worth the cash if you are serious. Think this through as geting an arcade stick will slightly complicate the learning process of learning a new fighting game especially coming from a game quite different like smash brothers. i personally recommend going to your locals area and see if they have a SFV scene and ask some of the guys there to let you try out their stick or teach you some stuff heres a video on what you will actually be probably using a stick
2)Since you tell me you have come from smash you know fighting games. and you know they are hard to learn and hard to "git gud" so dont be afraid to lose, the best winners are the ones who learn from their loses. the first hurdle is understanding the game you are playing then the technical parts should slowly be introduced.
This is a good start
Vesper arcade (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ql2OZoRrfos&list=PLIhWuF_5aE1_xHpDsJD1U2OgU4ZuAZrxp)
Gootecks has a very good series aswell i recomend you watch this second (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AomsfS_8cT8&list=PL13KoUNKKsK2HQ_nWMR9wUqtwrA8k317I)
As for picking your main for a character you want to play. find someone who is fun and who you like regardless of strength. The Capcom character guides are a good place to see what a characters capable of and a little bit about their strengths and weaknesses for a better under standing (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLs4LjNCY15zMKfPmf5M5_Ow9en17ur3BR) a youtuber under the name TrueUnderDogGaming has a similar line of videos (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLHXrezoc98F7jiQIPgeA9655yxUhRPI4x)
you said you like rashid SF has some insightful videos though they are for the micro complexities for the game they are short and helpful to understanding the game, did i mention he loves rashid hes also not a super duper good player so you will have an easy time relating and understanding him (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3f9nd40434_EJ-CkvC9pmzD6s0exYuaD)
on the sub reddit we also have pages dedicated to characters i recommend you check them out (https://www.reddit.com/r/StreetFighter/wiki/index)
like i said play who you want, but at the early stages there are soe chaaracters that are difficult to use, will impeed progress with complicated mechanics and play styles and worst case senario bad habits. if i were you i would consider giving THIS a glance before you make any final decisions
Another good resource to learn the game and im surprised it isnt praised and recommended to beginners is the street fighter V Collectors edition Guide book. it explains street fighter on a very basic level of understanding, explains some very general and important fighting game topics and lingo such as footsies and meaties. it also provides you with Frame data something very important later on in learning street fighter. i 10/10 recommend wish i had something like this when i started 2 years ago you can buy it at amazon.com
And the last place for help is our own sub reddit! you have any questions please come here everyone will help you out!
All the lingo, terminology and explanations so you can talk the talk on the reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/stReetfighter/wiki/iv/glossary

we also have a beginners guide here too https://www.reddit.com/r/stReetfighter/wiki/v/new_player_guide
just like smash (i did try learning smash) one of the first few things to do is get used to your stick and movement so just play the story and all the single player content we have "so far" and have fun! and welcome to the community. Fight well,Fight hard, Never give up and remember to... #RISE UP
Is this any good as a super budget fightstick?
https://www.amazon.com/Fighter-FightStick-PlayStation4-PlayStation3-playstation-4/dp/B018HXA6H8/ref=sr_1_5?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1468879539&sr=1-5&keywords=fightstick
(its the Mad Catz Street Fighter V Arcade FightStick Alpha for ps4/ps3) I want one for pc.
Apparently theyre having a sale as well, here's the link: https://www.amazon.com/Fighter-FightStick-PlayStation4-PlayStation3-playstation-4/dp/B018HXA6H8
I mean, if you prefer a stick then you prefer a stick. I'm the same way. Of course, when I got into fighting games it was with SF4 on the 360 and that controller's pad was absolute ass. Some of the best players in my local scene play with a pad, though, as well as players that win majors.
If you're looking for a PS4 stick, there's the Fightstick Alpha that's a bit on sale atm http://www.amazon.com/Fighter-FightStick-PlayStation4-PlayStation3-playstation-4/dp/B018HXA6H8
One of the guys I play with has one. It's not as flimsy and poorly built as you might expect, but it is pretty small.
If you're on ps4, even if you find a decent stick that cheap, you'll have to buy a converter which is ~$40. If you're on PC you'll have more options but they won't be great.
The [alpha] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018HXA6H8/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_9Cr7wbEGW0X5C) and seems like your only hope
OHH, You're using a 360 pad?!? Literally anything is an upgrade, lol
https://www.amazon.com/Street-Fighter-Arcade-FightStick-PlayStation4-PlayStation3/dp/B018HXA6H8/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1497765055&sr=8-2-fkmr1&keywords=madcatz%2Bps4%2Bmini&th=1

These are cheap economy sticks. See if you like them, and consider upgrading later.
I did end up going with a MadCatz Fightstick Alpha.
https://www.amazon.com/Mad-Catz-FightStick-PlayStation4-PlayStation3/dp/B018HXA6H8/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1506198856&sr=1-1&keywords=fightstick+alpha
I like it very much. It's small, but I'm small, and the stick toggle switch is exactly what I needed. I've been playing my ARPGs with it for the past few days, and it's very comfortable! Thank you so much for the stick control toggle switch revelation!
You do know theres literally a PS4 version of this exact same fightstick right? https://www.amazon.com/Arcade-Tekken-Fight-PlayStation-Officially-Licensed/dp/B019ZD1I6C/ref=pd_sim_63_2?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B019ZD1I6C&pd_rd_r=6B90D9MNSS4HZBXECNKH&pd_rd_w=NYF7F&pd_rd_wg=VDag0&psc=1&refRID=6B90D9MNSS4HZBXECNKH
Any stick starting at $150+ is pretty much good. Personally, I would recommend Hori Rap 4. However, all of these are good:

Are you looking for something on the smaller or larger side? This one is rare and has good parts, but for the price you can get something like the Qanba Obisdian which is very nice imo. A few other good options at that price are the Razer Panthera (if you can find one) and the Hori Tekken 7 stick. All of these that I mentioned will work on both PS4 and PC
I bought mine from Game Street long ago. Guess they’re hard to find now.
HORI Real Arcade Pro 4 Kai Tekken 7 Edition Fight Stick for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 Officially Licensed by Sony - PlayStation 4 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019ZD1I6C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_fwWZCbECHPAP2
This one. My only gripe right now is I can't configure it with WinKawaks.
There's a PS4 version of the same stick, you could then buy the PS4-to-XB1 converter instead.
And the RAP N is a reliable, very popular stick. It's one of the most popular sticks among tournament players, probably because of it's Noir button layout and affordable price. Until recently, the only other stick with that layout was the more costly Hori Fighting Edge.
What’s your limit per se and your systems you want to use it on? Reason I ask is I know a couple really good budget sticks. (Mayflash F300, Mayflash F500) but the best budget stick in my opinion that’s actually on sale right now I’d recommend the Qanba Drone. Easy to mod too (like I modded mine out with Sanwa parts and Hayabusa buttons) here’s the Amazon link of it while it’s down in price at $69 https://www.amazon.com/Qanba-Drone-PlayStation-4/dp/B01I0GEDEY/ref=sxin_1_ac_d_rm?ac_md=3-2-cWFuYmEgZHJvbmU%3D-ac_d_rm&crid=361Z42RGDGX46&keywords=mayflash+f300&pd_rd_i=B01I0GEDEY&pd_rd_r=fbb14bab-5c40-4ca6-99fc-0da2a5f86dac&pd_rd_w=Bs9Pl&pd_rd_wg=0tyq3&pf_rd_p=d29bc9bc-49e2-46b8-bc05-387917c341ec&pf_rd_r=C6GTT35K40VEH3BV43Y0&qid=1567897331&s=gateway&sprefix=Mayflash+f3%2Caps%2C158
Also if you’re willing to go up about $30, then this is a great stick on sale too and actually comes with Hayabusa matte buttons (which are great buttons and would mean you don’t have to mod it too much if you like those. I personally love Hayabusa buttons too) https://www.amazon.com/HORI-Real-Arcade-Pro-Soul-Calibur/dp/B01A8L6O0U/ref=sr_1_1?crid=NAN7Q46MA42W&keywords=soul+calibur+fight+stick&qid=1567897678&s=gateway&sprefix=Soul+calibur+figh%2Caps%2C165&sr=8-1
This is the best deal on the market right now and it's a high quality stick for half the price of any other high quality stick. As long as you can live with the artwork I would suggest this, that's if you're playing on the ps4 anyway. The main difference is this one has Hayabusa stick and buttons in it as opposed to Sanwa. I've heard good things about Hayabusa parts and they're pretty popular but I personally have no experience with them. All I know is some people prefer them over Sanwa if that tells you anything.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01A8L6O0U/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_ZoCZDbBZ34AHH
Honestly that stick is no good I would say upgrade to a new one the parts are terrible and not worth using to build another one. Amazon has a hori rap 4 for $100 right now

I want to buy this usb headset and have it be plugged into my PC and PS4 at the same time. Would I need just a simple usb splitter and what kind? They don’t need to run at same time. I just don’t want to unplug and plug in every time I switch devices.

These headphone fit perfectly over the halo. I used them with the PSVR and I am happy they work just as well on the Rift S: HyperX Cloud Revolver S
Sennheiser is the best of the best, but be ready to pay $100-200 premium for same quality as Beyerdynamic until you start getting close to $800 plus where no one can keep up with Sennheiser.
As for speakers, they don't tend to really get "good" unless you start spending ungodly money. I use these, but it's nothing crazy, just something I use for when I don't feel like wearing headphones (most single player games).
If you want a headset instead of headphones I recommend these.
The Revolvers are better. I snagged them on sale and they work on both PS4 + PC/Mac with surround sound. Amazing difference.

PC gaming and casual use

Preferred Type of Headphone
I'm a headphone noob and am not sure about all the terms, but I have been using these audio technica for almost 2-3 years now and although they're still holding up really well, they're dirty and peeling off. I don't mind if it is a specific gaming headphone as I use my camera mic. I do plan on getting an external mic to attach on the headphone if it does not already come with one. Now, this might sound pretty lousy, but I like sleek and solid looking headphones. I don't doubt that the sound quality is amazing, but I'd like to have something that has an appealing look to it. I've done some research and really like the look of the steel series model. The $350~ one looks great but unless it is actually worth that much, I'd rather look elsewhere.
Preferred tonal balance
Just looking for all around headphones.
Past headphones
Audio technica ath m50x - After all these years, it is still incredibly comfortable and doesn't feel too heavy on my head. The overall immersion I get from it is meh, but it has lasted me this long.
Beats studio wireless - Not sure if everyone still hates beats, but I loved these pair of headphones (before someone broke into my car and stole them lol). They are incredibly comfortable, very immersive and are sleek/stylish. I'd even consider getting these for my pc but not unless there is better.
Preferred Music -
Anything really. I have songs from different genres in my playlist, but mostly just hip-hop stuff.
What would you like to improve on from your set-up
Overall great headphones and maybe an external mic

Although I don't regret buying it one bit, it is ridiculously expensive.
Does anyone have suggestions for a decent wireless gaming headset that is capable of Multipoint (being wireless to my PC and my Mobile at the same time). I found the SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless but not really ready to drop 329 dollars on a headset.
That's a whole $5 less than Amazon.
ETA actually, if you want a white one, Amazon has that for $180.

I like this one. Not sure about others, but this one lights up blue when they are charged. Yellow or orange when not charged. Cheap. Looks cool on my end table.
Well reviewed and some used used options are also available.
My reply is certainly going to reak of "sony apologist/asshole". That is not my intention.
Your biggest problem with the DS4 is the battery life, and even though you play it 3 hours a day (based on your post) you can't be bothered to do something extremely easy to fix it? Charging the controller is easy to do man, just plug the thing in...how hard is that? It takes you less time to plug the controller in than it does for the PS4 to turn on!
In all seriousness I do agree with you on finding plugging things into the stupid cables every single time you touch them to be annoying. You know those memes about "I plugged in the usb cable...and it was facing the right way on the first try....winning!" That is a real thing. But why? Back in the day the only device commonly found in the house that was used every day that had a rechargeable battery was our home phone. These always had a desktop cradle charger. Can you imagine a cordless phone where you had to charge it by plugging it with a cord all the time? And let's not forget how shitty those nicad batteries were...I kid you not, there are people who made their fortune on selling those stupid things in a retail store, having to be replaced every 6 weeks, people buying the wrong ones, or heaven forbid if you had the audacity to not follow the impossible charge/discharge practices they recommended.
Thankfully, battery technology really improved, but unfortunately the GOOD thing about that era (the cradle charger) went the way of the dinosaur and for some reason (profit) companies stopped including them.
The cradle charger suddenly became a "premium" ie: overpriced accessory. I remember the last cellphone I purchased that came with a cradle charger. This was over 10 years ago, in the era before phones even had color screens.
What I'm trying to say here is a cradle charger is the way to go, and there are multiple options for PS4. Here are just a few:
This is the one I personally have. It works great! I have 3 controllers, and it comes with 2 of the little attachments that go on the controller to charge it. Nyko sent me another 2 for free when I asked them.
http://www.amazon.com/Nyko-Charge-Base-PlayStation-4/dp/B00FLLFJ68/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1422371016&sr=8-2&keywords=ps4+charger
This is another very popular one, it is very commonly recommended on reddit. It doesn't require any adapters to be connected to the DS4 since it uses the extension port to charge.
http://www.amazon.com/DualShock-Controller-Charging-Station-PlayStation-4/dp/B00ENFVJJO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1422371016&sr=8-1&keywords=ps4+charger&pebp=1422371073104&peasin=B00ENFVJJO
There are other options, but most of the other options work by the charger physically plugging in to the micro-usb port on the top of the controller and hanging from it, which seems problematic to me. The 1990's style cradle is where it's at! The Nyko one is the closest thing to that style. And no, the little adapters that let it dock do NOT interfere with the operation at all, it's very small and you don't even know it is connected. Because everyone asks this (completely unnecessarily, as every lithium ion based charger behaves this way) yes, it will automatically stop charging the controller when the battery is fully charged.
There's even another style that connects directly to the PS4, if you are wanting to keep the controllers near the PS4 itself. Although personally, I think it makes much more sense for the controllers to be stored where they are used...ya know, on the couch. But I literally have not touched my PS4 since I purchased it, since I am (obviously) one of those people who only buy digital games, because damn, why should I have to swap a disc just because I want to play a different game?
http://www.amazon.com/Nyko-Modular-Charge-Station-White-PlayStation/dp/B00MUTASR4/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1422371016&sr=8-13&keywords=ps4+charger
Why did I post all of this, especially with the assholery beginning? Because so many people just love to complain about every little thing they don't like, when there are a multitude of products available to make all their woes go away. Even if the DS4 had 24 hours of battery life, if they wanted to not buy a charger for it, they'd still be messing with that stupid USB charging cord eventually...which is a crime against humanity.
Spent $20, and you can be a smug asshole who is much happier in life, thanks to having one less usb cord to have to plug in.
(PS: If your phone supports wireless charging, buy a few of those chargers for your cellphone...and if it doesn't, make sure your next cellphone does!) The only time I plug my phone into ANYTHING is when I flash a new rom to it. Charging is as simple as setting it down on the charger, it synchronizes data (such as music/pictures) over wifi, and earphones are bluetooth. They call it a wireless phone...right?
Modern consumer electronics used without wires...will make you a happier person. Your thinning hair will grow back, your penis will become longer, your belly fat will get smaller, you will get a promotion at work without even asking for it, your children will do their chores without complaining, your mortgage company will approve your refinance, and you will get the bonus onion ring every time you purchase french fries.
Comcast will still give you shitty service...but hey, this new way of life can't work miracles or anything.
