The Copernico 500 suspension light from Artemide has been designed by Carlotta de Bevilacqua and Paolo Dell’Elce. Composed of nine concentric mobile ellipses cut from a single aluminum plate, which support a circuit of 384 white LEDs.
The ellipses rotate independently on two different axes, enabling the light emission to be directed and numerous spatial configurations to be obtained at the same time.
