Inspired by h. p. Lovecraft’s Mythos, this d&d gaming Dice Box features the fearsome Cthulhu to store and protect your Dungeons and Dragons rpg Dice. This little box in particular is designed to hold your dice, and if you’ve purchased one of our wooden deck boxes, they match perfectly! The extra small Dice Box will fit a full set of 7 dice, plus a little extra wiggle room for a few more. (We’ve easily fit a full set of 7 dice [4 sided, 6 sided, 8, 2 10s, 12, and 20] alongside an additional two 20 sided dice) The small Dice Box will fit approximately 35 randomly assorted standard size dice. The medium Dice Box will fit approximately 75 randomly assorted standard size dice. On each box, on the inside edge of the sliding lid, there is a set of magnets within the back of the box. This will help keep your lid from sliding open without you meaning for it to. External Dimensions: Extra Small – 2.4w x 3.25l x 1.6h inches Small – 3.1w x 3.25l x 2.4h inches Medium – 4w x 3.25l x 3.2h inches _ Important note: The amount of dice this box will actually hold will depend on the sizing of dice you use (If you use larger than average dice, it will hold less. If you use smaller than average dice it will hold more), and what type of dice you’re storing. (For instance, each box will hold a much greater amount of it’s filled with only four sided dice.) The images pictured above are using standard sized dice. The dice pictured are not included in your purchase. __ How It’s Made The box is made from interlocking pieces of engraved wood, fitted and attached together permanently, with a sliding lid held by a small strip magnet at the back. The wood used is our wood of choice, Cherry Wood. Chosen for its sturdy durability while remaining easy for our machine to work with, as well as its gorgeous subtle red and golden luster when finished. Each product after engraving and cutting is sanded by hand to ensure the surface is smooth, then sealed with a clear varnish.
