Stylish and elegant two piece walking suit typical of the styles seen in the 1910s. Perfect for recreating Titanic, Downton, suffragettes and ww1. It can be made from a plain linen in a wide range of colours. The jacket is lightly fitted and features a shawl collar and asymmetric button fastening. a popular and period correct finish is the rows of decorative machine stitching in a lightly contrasting colour. The skirt also echoes the asymmetric styling, but is not actually a wrapover. It has a button fastening at the side. It fits smoothly over the hips and flares out a little into an A-line allowing you to walk and move. Three decorative buttons finish off the front panel with the rows of machine stitching running right around from the waist to the hem. This item is custom made to the sizes you will be asked to provide and in your preferred colour choice. Some of the colours shown in the samples can’t be chosen from the menu due to their inauthentic shade. Please ask if you are looking for a particular colour as it can probably be sourced for you. We also have a range of Edwardian/ 1910s pieces available in the shop as well as historical undergarments and accessories. The listing is for the two piece suit only. Hat/accessories not included.
