Details and links:

Just sent a box of 100 wire hangers to OH Gov Mike DeWine. This was a campaign that comes from back when Kasich was in office, and the bill was on his desk. He vetoed it. Unfortunately this time the bill is already signed, but DeWine still needs a dose of reality.

The hangers were $21.95 on Amazon.

I wiped out his address so I don’t get banned for doxxing, even though it’s publicly available. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Just search “Governor Mike DeWine office address” - it’s on the contact page at the bottom. Be sure to mark it as a gift so you can tell him how you feel! Sadly there’s a character limit - damn you, Amazon!

My gift message:

> Governor, I can’t safely carry to term due to a mental condition. Thanks for signing my death warrant, along with the rest of your vulnerable female constituents. Here’s a gift of our only remaining option. With love, (name and zip)

Have at it, folks! Especially you, Ohio constituents. Make your voice heard!

Get space saving hangers!! You can fit more clothes in a tiny closet.

Donate clothes you no longer wear.

Separate your Fall/winter from your spring/summer clothes. Put the clothes that are not part of the current season in a space saving bag and store them somewhere else - like under your bed. You are not using them right now, no need for them to be hanging up! :)

Complaint - 102 F real feel today. More treadmill for me.

Confession - it has actually been ok on the work gym treadmill. I complained enough so they finally installed a TV, yahoo! I am forced to watch reruns of Friends, Mike & Molly as well as 2 and a Half Men but better than no entertainment

Complaint - the holiday season is whirling around and I am not ready. Soon it will be Halloween, Thanksgiving and then Christmas.

Confession - these silly things have made more room on my shoe rack for my running shoes! https://www.amazon.com/Shoe-Slotz-Space-Saver-piece/dp/B01BFC7RWU They look ridiculous but suddenly I have so much space! This means moar shoes!

Pro tip: Hang a shoe organizer in your safe for pistols.

u/hitchhikingwhovian · 14 pointsr/whatisthisthing

I was just as surprised as you that I hadn't heard about this sooner. Dealing with allergies in a humid region and living mostly in older houses it had never even been mentioned.
When I moved into this house I needed extra storage options. I prefer to redo old sturdier furniture and happened across a chest at a sort of consignment shop that wasn't great on the outside but when I checked the inside it was immaculate, smelled amazing and even had the manufacturers tags. It turned out to be a Lane cedar chest not a super antique one but still solid cedar and almost brand new inside. After fixing up the outside a bit and storing extra bedding and things in it for a couple weeks I noticed how aromatic it still was but also the items I'd stored in it. I got curious and decided to look more into it.
Cedar wood I found has been being used to store and protect cloth items for centuries. I don't understand how this stopped being common place let alone how it was replaced by moth balls. It protects from bugs but also mold and mildew which keeps away the musty smell you usually can't avoid when storing cloth items.

Just to share some of what I've found in the past couple years if you interested...
As others have mentioned there are plenty of options for adding a bit of cedar to closets, drawers, or cabinets. From the plank in the main post, circular cuttings made to go over hangers, sachet style bags filled with shavings that can be refreshed using cedar oil, and tons more. (Here is a great set with a little of each, https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00DEF8KCI/ref=pd_aw_fbt_201_img_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=63BW1DPGEC5DNEHVDDCM )
You can go a step further and replace the rod with a cedar one like you mentioned or replace the shelves in a closet or cabinet with cuts of cedar. You can even go all out and redo the whole closet with cedar.
When sticking with the little pieces I find the best bits to add are ones you can easily refresh like square pieces that will be easy to sand down a bit and the sachets you can just refresh with oil.
I also found Red cedar is what's used and recommended for this purpose. It's suppose to be the most aromatic and longest lasting.

Snippet from a webpage with the basics. Most others were biased towards specifics...

Cedar Products offer natural protection against damage from moths, mildew and mustiness. The aroma of cedar repels adult moths from wanting to enter that environment to lay her eggs. The amount you need depends on the size of the container and how frequently it is opened and exposed to air and light. If you can smell it, so can the moths. You can rejuvenate aging cedar by spraying with cedar mist or by rubbing the cedar with sand paper to revive the scent. You can also use sachets, blocks, balls and hangers to allow you to add cedar easily. Cedar also helps absorb dampness and odors. Cedar, which comes in hangers, boxes, blocks and drawer liners, should be sanded with fine-grade sandpaper after each season because otherwise the surface oxidizes, eliminating the moth repelling scent.

TL;DR - Cedar is freaking awesome! Enjoy the tidbits of info I've come across in my research if you care to. 🤓

Flocked hangers help a lot! Like these.

u/WeddingShit · 12 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

Sweaters tend to be heavier and will stretch or become mishapen, typically with a shoulder bump if they are hanged on a hanger through the neck hole (is there a proper term for that? Haha I'm going with neck hole). Here is an example of that happening

Hangers like this which are broader and keep the clothes in place are a tad bit better, since it is wide enough to accomodate the shoulders, but generally, you should avoid hanging sweaters.

Typically, yes, folding sweaters in a drawer is best because there is no specific part which is put under more pressure and will stretch. If you don't have a drawer or storage available, sweaters can be hanged llike this to prevent stretching.

Depends on where you live and your income. If you're low income and in NYS you can get an abortion for free. I haven't done the legwork, but I feel it's safe to assume they don't run that deal in Texas.

Or you can get 100 abortions on Amazon for $21.94.

u/VictorSierra09 · 10 pointsr/Military

A collapsible closet/shelf organizer. Better than rifling through your gear several times a day.

u/Lil_MsPerfect · 10 pointsr/breakingmom

I realize we shouldn't have to pander to this kind of laziness, but maybe if you label the outside of the drawer with what is in it, that might help. I use shoe organizers that hang over the door instead of dressers for little kids, and the socks/underwear/pajamas are all super visible. I roll up the outfits together. No one can fuck up the clothing choices that way, and it's easy for me to have all the clothes ready for the week easily as soon as I'm done with laundry.

u/pixelprism · 9 pointsr/LifeProTips

We use an over-the-door shoe storage thing. It has 24 pockets that we can store different types of cables in. It's really easy to access and keeps things more or less organized -- and it's really cheap! Here's the model we have.

u/theotherbelanna · 9 pointsr/declutter

It sounds to me like you want some sort of cubby so you can roll the dresses and have each in its own spot so you can take one out without the others toppling over.

A few ideas:

u/lingual_panda · 8 pointsr/TwoXChromosomes

Cut them off, and then get these.

u/val319 · 8 pointsr/organization

I made this. The dimensions aren’t perfect but might help see a different way. https://imgur.com/a/XHTquaV so just some thoughts. Move things up walls for space. The glass enclosed dresser doesn’t look easily used. Move the desk over into the corner and move the tall dresser were the glass front one is. The chest and case on it are rough and not very functional. I’d get them out at least while figuring everything out. If you can add shelves or cubes above your side table that would add space. They would need to be screwed in. If you can’t then skip that. Hanging laundry baskets or use a shelf with a couple storage bins to toss laundry in. Depending on measurements possibly something like this on the glass front furniture. C&AHOME Cube Storage Organizer, 8- Cube DIY Plastic Closet Cabinet, Modular Book Shelf Organizer Units, Storage Shelving Ideal for Bedroom Living Room Office with Doors, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XFHW6LK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_fX7RDbR8FS51M shelves with storage cubes, containers or such is another option. Add shelves above the desk. Again bins, tubs, cubes even paper organizers can be used. Dollar stores can give extra options. Don’t consider things exclusive. I needed a closed container to hold chopsticks. I bought a pasta container. Think about how to move things up. Think about how you like things for ease. I like doors but for example some cubes come with or without drawers. Under the bed- I’d consider it storage. It doesn’t look convenient day to day. Under there you want to put this. DampRid FG60FS Moisture Absorber, Fresh Scent, 10.5-Ounce, 2-Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CBLW1MQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_L37RDb41XX5VS put reminders in your phone and empty it every few days until you know how much water it absorbs. You replace the crystals every so often. Keep it away from pets. Damp rid will grab tons of moisture but while you’re checking everything out make sure you don’t see signs of a pipe leak. Mold, soft walls, moisture and bad smells pay attention to. Other type cube options but not this brand ClosetMaid 8937 Cubeicals Organizer, 9-Cube, Espresso https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001UU0NJW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_G87RDbVTHK1NV

Whitmor Storage Cubes - Stackable Interlocking Wire Shelves - Black (Set of 6) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007ELALZC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_Y77RDbMDF1414

There’s also things like this if you have space. SIMPDIY Portable Shoe Rack Storage Organizer Shoe Box Storage System with Doors, Shoes,Accessories - Black (2x6 with Boots Cube 93x126x108cm/37x15x50In) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PZ6K548/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_3-7RDbVY3FSB5

Don’t forget what you choose should work for you. So even something like kids toy storage might work better for some. Like this. Tot Tutors WO498 Elements Collection Wood Toy Storage Organizer, X-Large, Grey/Blue/Green/Yellow https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07638ZJQY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_.b8RDb5P0ZMB6 or this Delta Children Deluxe Multi-Bin Toy Organizer with Storage Bins , Grey/Blue https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074PY2ZGS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_Gc8RDb9CTVC9T there’s stuff like this. LANMOK 3pcs Hanging Mesh Storage Basket Foldable Space Saving Toy Organizer with 3pcs S Hooks for Kids Room Bathroom Wall Balcony Wardrobe https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H9VBKW6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_yd8RDbW8NAFWA

Basically storage needs to go up. Bed drawers don’t work in large rooms so use for storage. Put damp rid out. Make sure no leaks. For me the idea is enclosed. Choose what works for you. Don’t forget if the idea of doors on storage cubes don’t work for you that you can use a curtain to cover it if you don’t want others to see. The idea is finding what works for you. If you move things and have a wall space open buy taller items. I’ve been redoing a smaller space so feel free to ask if you need some other suggestions.

Edit another idea is move that wood dresser to the window like in diagram, glass one next to it and cubes where the wood one is now.

There's hanging closet shelves

Cube shelf

Underbed Bags

Bookcases can work.

u/jNo2 · 5 pointsr/TheGirlSurvivalGuide

I have one of these hanging organizers in my closet:

https://www.amazon.com/Closet-Complete-Hanging-Jewelry-Organizer/dp/B00A2C0LQE/ref=pd_sim_201_5?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00A2C0LQE&pd_rd_r=PK46SN59DEXYGPPA7FB8&pd_rd_w=DnkKX&pd_rd_wg=ADGtU&psc=1&refRID=PK46SN59DEXYGPPA7FB8

It's double sided so there's plenty of room for all my jewelry and I can always easily find what I'm looking for since the pockets are clear. You can also put a hook up and hang it anywhere if you don't have space in your closet.

u/Laser_hole · 4 pointsr/INEEEEDIT
u/NarcosNeedSleep · 4 pointsr/konmari

Have you considered a hanging organizer? Like this. (That's just the first one that popped up on Amazon, I can't say whether it's a good one or not, I was just giving an example.)

Some things I really like having folded, and if you like some things folded and you used one of those, it wouldn't use up your limited drawer space, but takes advantage of more vertical space (though they come in different lengths and widths, so not all are full length). You could even use baskets or boxes in them for things like socks.

Then all your stuff is closer together than in a separate dresser.

u/midnight8iseul · 4 pointsr/guineapigs

I used these storage “cubes” (not actually cubes so it comes with 3 different sizes of panels 😛 but it turned out nice that way) and corrugated plastic

u/JasterMereel42 · 4 pointsr/organization
  1. Over the door shoe rack is awesome for organizing cleaning supplies. Only thing to be cautious about is that it does make the door heavier and the shoe rack will swing out a bit when opening and closing the door due to inertia. I would recommend attaching the bottom of the shoe rack to the door somehow to prevent this.

  2. If you buy something, something else must be thrown away. This just helps to keep down clutter and filling up space with stuff.

  3. Not necessarily a true 3rd tip, but I moved from a house I owned into a house that I rented. My pegboard tool organization went away and now everything is in 2 or 3 tool bags where I have to search for stuff. I CANNOT stand this. I can't wait to be in a house I own again so I can have all of my tools organized and with easy access.
u/chrono13 · 3 pointsr/Survival

Action packer: http://www.amazon.com/Rubbermaid-1172-ActionPacker-Storage-Gallon/dp/B00002N6SQ

I added the hook side of hook and loop (Velcro) tape to the bottom so it does not slide around in my trunk.

  1. Small set of tools (hammer, pliers, small socket set, 4-in-1 screwdrivers, etc in a bag)
  2. Three Nalgene 16oz water bottles filled with water. (have put out two small fires with these!)
  3. Stanley 55-099 FatMax Xtreme Fubar Utility Bar
  4. Jumper cables (used at least twice a year to help someone else).
  5. About 50' of orange 550 cord.
  6. Two contractor grade garbage bags.
  7. Penzoil hand-pump siphon.
  8. 1-gallon gas can
  9. Old baseball cap
  10. Small, light, water resistant coat/windbreaker (bought for $5 at Old Navy years ago).

I also throw in my Maxpedition Falcon II backpack, which is my overnight bag, and also doubles as a Get Home Bag. I've used it for impromptu overnight stays at friends houses, and have used some of the things in it at various times (headlamp, cliff bar, toilet paper).

And then there is my EDC. So this list does not include the contents of my EDC or GHB : )
u/prunesmith · 3 pointsr/YarnAddicts

Be careful with mothballs, though! (Sorry, I don't mean to be a party pooper). It can be difficult to get their smell out of yarn. From what I have read, strong-smelling cedar and lavender can work just as well. Another downside to mothballs is that they will react with any plastic they are in contact with - which is partly why I opted not to use them with my bin system. This article helped me a bit when I was trying to figure out a storage system.

I also purchased this set of cedar things from Amazon. I thought it was a really good deal! I also purchased some cedar oil to rub into the cedar blocks when they lose their smell.

u/ScotchMcBagpipe · 3 pointsr/AskTrollX

Shoe organizer - over the door ones with pouches like this. I use them in my bathroom. Not the greatest thing to look at, but looks much better and more organized than having my shit all over the counters. I just can't organize drawers in the bathroom to easily find my stuff, so I'd just leave it out. Also use on in my laundry room for cleaning products.

u/Informationator · 3 pointsr/gamecollecting

Hanging shoe holders are a popular way of storing controllers for easy access. You could even go for a clear one

Being the sophisticated man that I am, I store mine in... ...a wire jungle box...

u/banannastand · 3 pointsr/Rabbits

Just to note, make sure to get one 1.5 inch ones like these: http://www.amazon.com/Whitmor-4-Storage-Cubes-White/dp/B000LRGV3W

There are some with larger inner squares and Rabbits have been known to get their heads stuck in them.

u/aleii1 · 3 pointsr/Parenting

Consider hiring a bi-weekly or monthly maid. I did and it is helpful, as my husband and I disagree on cleaning and this keeps the peace. I hate spending money on things that I can just do myself, but, again, the peace is really worth it.

What I do for my son is that he takes off everything at the main-level coat closet. I have a shoe stand in there for everyone's daily shoes (special occasion shoes go in the individual's bedroom closet), and backpacks go here too (though my son is only in preschool so doesn't have homework.) There's a table right next to the closet for lunch bags. I also utilize this closet organizer which has been fantastic! You can easily put lunch bags here as well if you don't have room for a table. I designate one 'box' for each person in our family, for gloves, hats, etc.

Regarding the seat belt, you need to observe him to find out exactly what is taking him forever to put it on. I don't understand what the sneaking game is, but if its just something merely annoying, then just ignore it and he'll eventually tire of it and move on.

u/Giraffe_Racer · 3 pointsr/Velo

Hanging shelves in my closet. Bibs take up two, short sleeve jerseys in two, long sleeves and warmers in one, socks in one. Then I have my least favorite/last resort if nothing is clean bibs on the top shelf in my closet.

I use shoe racks like this to store my long boxes. Works out pretty well, each "nook" can hold two 660 count boxes.

My service uses them for bls and airway stuff on some of our rigs. not for everything just one or two of each. If you label all the compartments it’s really easy to restock since you can see what’s missing. No way to securely lock narcs up though so I don’t think it would help you with your als drugs, but maybe you could get a med bag and just strap it to the netting with a caribeaner or something when you need to

Okay, I know this might sound weird, but hide-away shoe organizers could be helpful for this dilemma. If you got one or two of these ones, you could hang it on the back of your bedroom door or the outside of your closet door and organize the lipsticks in the pockets in rows, with all similar colors in each four-pocket row. And if you got this 4-pack right here, you could organize all of your lipsticks, shadows, etc. into pockets by color and hide it all away under your bed/dresser/wherever it will fit, and just pull it out when you need it! I know these two ideas aren't adorable or decorative, but I thought they might tidy things up a bit.

For things other than lipstick, you might also benefit from making one of these boards :) I've always wanted to make one, they look so cute.

Vertical storage! Go up as much as you can, even stacking storage pieces. Wall-mounted storage pieces or shelves. I got a magnetic knife bar for the kitchen and it has opened up a lot of drawer space (of which we are lacking).

Weirdly spaced shelves in cabinets or closets can double their usefulness with a plate/shoe rack!

I also use an over-the-door hanging shoe organizer in my kitchen to hold cleaners and other assorted small utilitarian items. Mesh pockets hold up better than plastic.

I definitely second getting rid of unused stuff. I try to do that every 6 months or so.

Maybe form a compromise with your boyfriend and turn the office into an office/dressing room. It would benefit him as well by helping keep your room cleaner. You can have a wardrobe in there or build a cubby type thing in there. Or go to ikea and pick up one of these:

http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/10196431/#/20255590

It's affordable and really useful for organizing. You can get bins that fit in each cubby. That way you can have a bin for each accessory. a few for bags, one for scarves, etc. You can organize each purse bin by color or by the type of bag. That way you will know where to look for something specific.

http://www.amazon.com/ClosetMaid-15-Cubby-Shoe-Organizer-White/dp/B002IT6E6A
You can pick up something like that for your shoes and stash it in a closet or in the dressing room. It organizes and you can still stack things on it or hang things over it.

I use something similar for scarves that I bought on Amazon. I would easily work for tanks. What's nice is they're easy to get in and out. I find that if it takes too much time to put it away/take it out, I don't use an organization system. For my scarf one, I actually hang it from a wall hook - easy access and with all the pretty colors, it actually looks nice next to a dresser.

I have a link to my art, but I didn't actually take a pic of my booth unfortunately. If you're looking for pointers, height is always a plus. A lot of people at my cons used boxes like this to make displays. If you google artist alleys, you should be able to find some examples.

I buy sticker paper (I just use the Staples generic brand lol) that I can run through my printer, and then I cut it out myself. More expensive than regular paper obviously, but cheaper than getting it sent out somewhere. I don't mind putting in the cutting time personally.

Its NIC (Neat Idea Cubes) wire storage cubes + zipties! They are are the BEST THINGS EVER! So versatile, and you can make them into any shape, change the size, etc.

Target sells them too, not sure which is cheaper. The amazon price usually goes up and down. It takes about 16 panels to make a 3'x3' pen; I have 50 panels and use them to make gates, pens, fences, block off areas, condos, etc. You can never have too many cubes!

u/ImCorvec_I_Interject · 2 pointsr/magicTCG

If you have your decks in different colored sleeves (or in smaller deck boxes, like these), you can just carry them in one of the white cardboard boxes that most people store cards in. My LGS sells them for $3 each and I imagine you could fit more than 10 decks in one. They look like this, but this one might be better for you.

You could instead get the Khans of Tarkir holiday box, but I wouldn't recommend it since the quality of the cardboard is pretty low.

I have also seen people use this zippered gaming case to transport cards; one of the reviews says that it can hold 10 deck boxes.

u/Theopholus · 2 pointsr/magicTCG

Good question. This kind of box.

Although, your local game store probably has these WAY cheaper than Amazon. Cause $10 for one of these is terrible.

Obviously, storage is the main need. Your only options are to add a cabinet on the wall above the toilet or on the wall above the towel rack. You can also hang storage on the back of the door, in the form of a shoe storage unit, but not used for shoes. This kind of thing...

I have recently purchased 2-BCW Shoe 2 Row Storage Boxes. I paired this with some Ultra Pro Card dividers. Right now I am using one box for corp and one box for Runner and I have all of one row filled only 1/4 of the other row filled. Lots of space still to grow.

I think the common answer right now is still an Action Packer with TSA-approved locks, just sent as checked baggage.

u/whale52 · 2 pointsr/NoStupidQuestions

Here's what I do.

Clothes that don't get hung up - I bought this with the matching baskets. It's not the lightest thing ever but it's not really heavy either. Not having traditional drawers to fiddle with and keep closed makes moving it easier too, since you can pull out the baskets and fold them flat. I only use half of the drawers for clothes, the other half holds miscellaneous equipment.

Pants - get folded up and stuck in a hanging closet organizer.

Shirts/dresses/jackets - get hung in the closet. I tend to fish through shirts in the morning and if I keep them folded it means they get trashed into a pile before long.

Papers - I don't have a lot of paper so I don't really have this problem, but you could use one or more expandable file folders.

Random knicknacks - My desk has a hutch on top (shelving space), so I bought some baskets that fit and I hide my junky knicknacks in there so they're not visually cluttering up the space. On my desk itself I keep pencils and scissors and such in a pen cup.

I've seen a few collection pics using shoe holders that hang on the backs of doors to organize controllers, and always wanted to give it a try, but never had the right door for it. Now that I do, I bought this and stuffed it full of as many retro controllers as I could.

Row 1: 5 NES controllers, Zapper, 3 Genesis controllers, 2 Saturn controllers

Row 2: 3 SNES controllers and 2 extenders, 3 more SNES controllers, 2 PS2 controllers with extender, Wii wheel

Row 3: 4 N64 controllers

Row 4: 3 PS1 controllers and an extender, 2 GCN controllers, 2 more GCN controllers and the Mayflash multitap for Wii U/Switch, 1 GCN controller and 1 Wavebird

Row 5: 2 wave birds followed by 3 Dreamcast controllers

Row 6: 2 Xbox S controllers, 1 more S, the Duke, and a bunch of Wiimotes and nunchucks.

I WANNA GO TO BURNING MAN SOO BADDDDDD.

  1. Not sure what you should get for the apartment... maybe one of these?

    They're 3' by 3' and I just think they're awesome for organization.

    For Burning Man:

Facemasks are always good and get a bunch of these to give to people. Great to not be dehydrated in the desert. And tasty to boot!

  2. I've been lusting after this shirt for a while. If the link doesn't carry over, large.

  3. I must say welcome home for reddit raffle.

  4. SUNBLOCK! This is a 4 oz. bottle of SPF 100. You'll be in the desert. Buy 10.

BONUS: Have a fantastic time, take pictures, and remember to share everything that happens.
u/Annemi · 1 pointr/cats

Possible causes:

  1. Boredom. How much do you play with her during the day? Do you rotate her toys, does she have a window perch and places to climb on, have you tried bird videos, etc? Could you leave out cups full of toys she likes for her to knock over?

  2. Something is seriously disturbing her, she needs comfort and/or is misdirecting her aggression because she can't get at the cause. Did someone new move in recently, to your place or a place she can hear or smell? Is there an aggressive dog or cat in the area she can see going through 'her' territory or marking it? How much time per day do you spend cuddling her and talking to her? Are you stressed out because of something that happened in the past month - pets pick up on that easily?

  3. Cats have preferences just like people. You can't just get a generic scratching post and expect that to work. It would be so much easier if we could. Could you get one with the texture you know she likes?

I once was at my wits end and made a scratching post by stapling a material my cat liked to the sides and back of a wood shoe stand, like this one but half the size: https://www.amazon.com/ClosetMaid-8983-Stackable-15-Unit-Organizer/dp/B002IT6E6A/ Worked great, saved our carpet.

  4. Catnip doesn't work on all cats, but there are alternatives: http://www.catster.com/lifestyle/cat-behavior-tips-humor-stoned-totally-legal

  5. Has she been to the vet since this behavior started? Have you done bloodwork, checked for parasites, etc? I would try the other options first to see if you can troubleshoot this without a vet visit, but there could be something wrong physically.

Last but not least, Prozac is available for cats. Also calming pheremones like Feliway and other over the counter things you can try without going to the vet. Mental health issues aren't confined to just humans.

What about a different solution.

I have something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Household-Essentials-6-Shelf-Hanging-Organizer/dp/B0041HLT80/ref=pd_bxgy_hg_img_y

It folds flat and you can get boxes that fit in each shelf. You could pack in flat in a suitcase and just hang it up at the next location and unpack your bag into it.

I guess this depends on how frequently you will be changing locations.

Ok I see. Yes, I would definitely hang them up. A pegboard would work fine but it's also a huge pain to hang an entire pegboard. If you are allowed, I have two ideas for you. My favorite is this over the door shoe holder. We keep a lot of our cords and electronics like video game controllers in one of these. It works wonderfully. I would label each one with labels alphabetically by manufacturer.
https://smile.amazon.com/Simple-Houseware-Pockets-Hanging-Organizer/dp/B07CG2R9ST/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=3S8HMCIWSC1SR&keywords=over+the+door+shoe+organizer&qid=1550929509&s=gateway&sprefix=over%2Caps%2C177&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1

If you don't have a door you can hang it over, I believe you can buy this same type of thing and hang it on a wall.

The second idea I have is to just buy a box of hooks with screws on the one end and put lots of hooks up. It would leave little holes in your wall but so would putting up a pegboard, and it would be easier and cheaper. Labels should again be added above each hook alphabetically by manufacturer.

The last resort would be buying a large container with cubby holes and labeling each one, but the container would likely be large, clunky and take up more room than wall hooks.

If this is a business you own, having it look nice might also be a factor if it's view of the public.

The bed looks like the biggest issue. It just takes up too much space, but I have a few ideas.

If you don't care about not having access to door on the right, move the desk so that's its against that door and push it in the corner. Get something like this and a tension rod to put in that weird awkward corner next to the window to store your handbags and other items that are hanging from both your doors. Remove the grey shelf that's on door left and replace with the mirror. The plant can be moved to the other side of the closet. Maybe display your lanyards and medals above your bed instead like this. It will look more organized and can be part of the decoration.

And if you can, downsize the bed and get a tall bed frame that can fit storage underneath the bed.

Copy and pasting this from another post of mine:

Target, Walmart, or Amazon. Same brand and about $30 shipped from all three. For Walmart and Target specifically, there's no shipping charge if you choose the in-store delivery option. Or check if they sell them in-store directly, mine don't.

The coroplast should be available for about $23 + tax at Home Depot (enter your zip to check availability) for a 48x96 sheet, or alternatively check with local sign shops or plastics distributors, they may be slightly cheaper and have other colors. Home Depot only has it in white.

Hang this on the back of a door to hold odd items or cleaning supplies. It's great in a bathroom if you don't have a lot of cabinet space. You can put hair products, straighteners, blow dryer, whatever in the pockets. It saves a ton of space and makes finding things a hell of a lot easier.

Each shelf carries scarves from the same color family. It lives in my kids bedroom ;)

I wear abaya and shela in my daily life so I usually hang the ironed matching (polyester) shela on the same hanger as the abaya. However, I do get tempted to investigate wearing scarves instead of shelas as I have very fine hair and the polyester shelas do a lot of slipping and sliding and I use an unfashionable number of (visible) pins to keep it in place!

I forgot to consider you might be out of the U.S, but my tips should still apply.

This might sound obvious but don't overpack clothes. Some of my roommates and myself included brought so many clothes that we don't use and it's just taking up space.

For kitchen use, take your own utensils but just one of each you're not going to need more than that trust me. For kitchen equipment like pans and pots, if your buddys do get in coordinate who takes what so you don't have multiples.

In the beginning it's all about taking what's absolutely essential, if you're able to go home during breaks that's when you bring some more stuff if you have the space.

I'm gonna link some stuff in a moment that you should absolutely consider buying. They're going to be amazon links but big chain stores in your area should carry similar products.

Not sure what your budget is or what type of cage you have but I used these type of wire cubes to built a bigger home for my bun. For ideas on how to make a door/entrance take a look at this thread from a few weeks ago.

You can also try to put mats against the wires so he doesn't chew the wires and gets a snack instead. If he doesn't pay much attention to the mats you can try what I do at times, I get the treats (see link below) and rub it against the mats so it's more a more appetizing snack.

A few other suggestions when you move and have bigger space:

  • Tunnels - Options 1 - for this one just keep an eye on the hanging ball - my bun chewed right through the string to get rid of the ball but otherwise loves the tunnel, Option 2, Option 3

    Treats (recommended by her vet)

I also agree with a lot of the suggestions here, I have the Living World Teach treat toy and my bun just loves it, though doesn't care for other toys but lives for cardboard boxes. Hope this helps!

I spend most of my money on food and clothing. I don't make much right now (I haven't started my new SLP job yet), so what little I do make at the gym I work at, I spend on food and drinks, and I treat myself or my dogs occasionally. I like what I spend my money on, just wish I didn't spend so much on food. I'm just always on the go, so it's easy to swing by somewhere.

This, because I need organization in my closet.

Yes except walls on the sides too (except for an opening/gate to enter) to prevent the blanket from falling off. And since my TV is right in front of the bed, I wouldn't want the wall where the feet are (blocks lower part of TV). • An awesome recliner is a must. Also, one of those chair massagers.

  • A flat screen on the wall.

  • A shelf organizer to put your books, games, video game consoles and have them organized. Maybe even one of these cool wall storage things.

  • Perhaps a mini-fridge to keep drinks cold, and maybe even a mini-bar with a tap if you're really into good brews.

  • Extra storage crates. I got some of these, and it's a great place to put a TV, food, printer, etc.
  • Bright desk lamps. As others said, it gets very dark on the far side of the room.
