Please note – this listing is for basic custom wands only – Oak, Ash, Maple, Walnut, Mahogany, Poplar, Birch, Pine, and Hickory – up to 14″ length. Make sure you tell us how long it needs to be! harry potter characters, pottermore styles, and engravings are not included in this listing, sorry! please contact us first if you want any of the following: – Exotic woods – these typically add between $5 and $25 per wand – Complex handles and other designs – these add at least $5, and sometimes a lot more. – Wands longer than 14 inches – these may add another $5 extra, or more. – Engravings / Woodburnings – these typically add at least $5 extra. Dragon scales could add a lot more. It never hurts to discuss design ideas ahead of time. We’ll be glad to make a custom listing just for you, so send us your notes and drawings, and you can have the wand of your dreams! or – Use your imagination and our wand-making skills to get yourself the perfect wand from scratch. Here’s how: 1 – Pick your wood – We always have large supplies of Oak, Ash, Maple, Walnut, Mahogany, Birch, Poplar, Pine, and Hickory in-house. We stock over 125 different woods! 2 – Pick a length. This is wicked important! 🙂 3 – Design your Pommel – that is the “handle-tip” part of the wand. Choose Rounded, Squared, Pope-hat, Pointed, Flattened, Spherical, or some other shape we’ve not done yet. We have shown some ideas 🙂 4 – What kind of handle – round, tapered, squared, faceted, spiraling, etc. Maybe reference the third image if you’re lost on this one… 5 – Do you want a waist or other feature in the middle? 6 – Design the shaft and tip. Squared, rounded, conical, wavy, faceted, helical spiral, and more.. 7 – Pick your finish… gloss or semi-gloss?
