No issues with smell (and I sweat a lot during my 90 minute workout) but make sure the clothes you change in to are clean. No rewears.

It's a wipe-aid

Toothpaste squeezers work well too
OMG Men, this kid must be brilliant. He must already have invented this, created the models necessary, contracted with some company to create it, and cut a deal with Amazon and 1000 other companies.

A lot of people on the show have to ask their spouse/caretaker to wipe for them. Some obese people use extenders, but I think a lot of these people are past that point.
Looks like it was a thing at one time

Toothpaste roller
I ride a road bike to work, sometimes treating my commute in as a hard workout. I change in my office and find that these wipes are 95% as effective as taking a shower. Stops the sweat, removes the stink, and I feel fresh after.
This is a big one
Smaller
Smaller still, but looks less stable
I have experience with the first one and they're fairly comfortable since it basically holds your butt.
Fun fact it's easier to shit if you get like a little foot rest to prop your feet up.
This right here helps straighten up your track and glides right out with less strain.
Pro Tips: Bring something to give out/help others out.

I learned this from an old GF who was a Burner and thought it was a pretty cool thing to do.

Bringing some really cheap stuff to give out can VASTLY improve someone's experience. I bring these things ... and if the temps dip as low as expected, these space blankets (they are super warm) will be appreciated.

Not silly, I had no idea either. It's a little bowl-type thing you put over your toilet and fill with warm water and epsom salts or whatever the doctor recommends. Then you sit on it and soak the area for 10–20 minutes. Quite nice actually! This is the one I bought.
I do a couple of one or two night adventures across california a few times a year. From my experiences, here are some of the most handy things in my opinion. Note; I have an absured amount of storage on my F650GS Dakar, so some of this stuff is not for light packers:
One of those battery powered string of led lights, for easy dim lighting where you can't have a campfire. eg, something like [this](
https://www.amazon.com/GardenDecor-Decorative-Battery-Powered-Bedroom/dp/B071CFJ52T/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1518029901&sr=8-5&keywords=battery+led+string+lights)
Biodegradable body wipes, for when you reek like B.O. from days of sleeping in the dirt and you have to interact with civilized people.
Water purification tablets, in case you break down somewhere in the middle of bumfuck nowhere and you need water. The bottles are tiny so they don't take up much space.
A chair because 24/7 of either sitting upright on a bike or laying on hard dirt starts to hurt like hell.
Some good undies with a junk pouch, because you are going to be sitting for hours and everything will start to get mashed up and uncomfortable. Best investment I've made, IMO.

My shower and bathroom are tiny! I got a shower stool but also considered getting a small folding one, like this
To solve the height issue, I put in a suction mount low on the wall, similar to this
Yes! This was something I put a lot of thought into when I was really sick.
BAM! Trust me...this thing was a game changer! Happy shitting!

And if you don’t want to spend $40 on it here’s a much cheaper simple key version for $3
https://www.amazon.com/Metal-Tube-Squeezer-Roller-Key/dp/B002RTVLGY
I used the peri bottle and the numbing spray a lot if I remember correctly. But seriously - the sitz bath - $9 from amazon - you fill the bag with the absolute hottest water you can physically stand, and put in some epsom salt (in the basin), and you just sit in it. When the water starts to get cold, you undo the valve a little, and new super hot water comes into the bowl. Its awesome. You can probably pick one up at CVS or something - they gave it to me at the hospital after my son was born. Probably charged my insurance $100 for it too. :)
My son was in the NICU for a few days, so I was walking around, but i didn't have anything with my tailbone, and I imagine that is where a lot of your pain is coming from as well.
Did they give you the numbing spray and the peri bottle? I think I used the peri bottle for a really long time. I would fill that up with really hot water before I would have to "go" and then I would use that, and just pat dry.
Not sure what I did about work tho... I feel like I brought an extra peri bottle in to work. In fact, I'm pretty sure I did.
It took longer to heal internally than externally, so when I say 5 months, that was just for all the internal areas to be at 100%. And at the end it was more like having a scrape inside me that was slowly healing, it wasn't intense pain. Just made intimate times uncomfortable, which I credit my husband a lot for not pressuring me at all.

Shit, he should just spend the 7$ and get one of these.
All his anger issues about toothpaste are fucking solved, lol.
I had my baby at 6:08 a.m., and my parents and MIL were at the hospital by 9 a.m. and wanting to see the baby. I was cool with that, but then they kinda hung around in shifts until I left the hospital 2 days later! I had other aunts and my brother and sis-in-law and 4yo niece come up, too, and it was all just so overwhelming. I didn't feel comfortable BFing in front of anyone but my mom, and couldn't do proper skin to skin in front of anyone, really, so if I had to do it again, I'd prob say "visitors only from 2-5pm, and please text first to be sure I'm up for a visit." So, putting a limit on the timeframe. And I did end up telling about 5 different sets of family members that I wasnt ready for a visit once I got home, and I'm so glad I finally spoke up then.
Please don't be anxious about being a good mom- you'll meet your little one and all these feelings of wanting to just protect and love him/her will kick in. I honestly don't like kids all that much, but I feel like I'm already doing a pretty kick-ass job as a mom and love my daughter with all my heart. Things that seem hard or totally foreign to you now (like maybe diaper changes, sleep schedule, reading your baby's cries) will come to you, and things will start to click and you'll gain confidence as a mother. And it'll take time because you AND baby are both new to this! But trust me, you'll be an awesome mom and the best mom to your child. :)
And the (litterbox) sitz bath is a little awkward to sit in, I know they make things that fit in your toilet seat for this purpose:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0000533E1/ref=mp_s_a_1_3_s_it?qid=1464657081&sr=1-3&pi=SX200_QL40
Best of luck to ya, you're going to do great with your husband!
Hmmm, Have you tried standing up and then wiping your butt? Or even buy that product where you can clamp a tissue at the end of a stick and then you can wipe your butt more comfortably.
I think this is the thing that does it:
https://www.amazon.com/Ableware-Self-Wipe-Bathroom-Toileting-641-2506-2000/dp/B000PGPPIG
You need this
ISKYBOB Set of 2 Rolling Tube... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0792RRFG2?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
$10 fix, not a $5 one, but this sounds like what you’re describing!
Would something like this do the trick?
this is a thing hair stylists user for getting all the color out of a tube.
I never see anyone on here talk about shower alternatives so I figured I would share one of our tricks. We use these wipes at a different gathering we attend that doesn't have showers. You can stay reasonably clean using antibacterial wipes, and they are great after a long day. Baby wipes are great for wiping the dust off your face as well. I keep little package in my camel back at all times.
False. Really, that's a nice, enjoyable kit you've made.
My 21yo son did this last June. I was there with him for the duration, and I think we checked out in 6 days. The food was excellent, and he could order food with no limitations. A nurse had to in the room before he could get up out of bed to go to the bathroom, and remain in the room until he was back in bed. They did not go into the bathroom with him, thank goodness.
He was unable to shower. He changed his button down shirt and pants daily. Next time he will bring those giant wet wipes like this: https://www.amazon.com/Surviveware-Biodegradable-Cleansing-Cleaning-Hypoallergenic/dp/B074DYPZYK to clean himself in bed. And some of that dry hair wash spray: https://www.allure.com/gallery/ten-dry-shampoos-under-20
The hardest parts for him were being tethered to the bed unless on a supervised bathroom break, and being dirty. He brought tons of entertainment, and I was there to advocate, entertain, fetch and carry, order his food, etc. I left him alone for about 1 hour a day, to give him a break from me, and to get a workout and shower in.
If you have a support person with you, be aware that the support person is not to eat the hospital food or even use the room's bathroom/shower. There was a very comfortable pull out chair that converted into a bed, and I brought my own linens and pillow. I was very comfortable.
Next up is intra-cranial EEG and potentially partial lobectomy.
Good luck to you!!! You'll do fine, and hopefully your seizures cooperate and they get all the data they need quickly!
How much water are you drinking? Sitting on the toilet too long makes hemorrhoids worse, don't take your phone to the bathroom. Use something to keep your feet higher - there are stepping stools for that purpose. Edit: found one https://www.amazon.com/Step-toilet-stool-new-healthier/dp/B00G5PTWT4
This reminds me of a story about a young male teen who broke both of his arms... ahem well no matter.
Basically...she's going to need help with everything requiring her hands. I broke just one wrist, I can't imagine how she functions with two broken wrists.
One thing I can suggest is if she doesn't own a good wardrobe of comfortable slip on/off pants (like baggy pajama pants basically) get her some. Fucking with buttons and zippers is not fun with a broken wrist.
There might even be some devices/tools you can get her to help be a little more self-sufficient, such as:
https://www.amazon.com/Maddak-Self-Wipe-Bathroom-Toileting-725062000/dp/B000PGPPIG#
I had a vaginal vac assisted birth resulting in 3rd degree tear + episiotomy. My vagina was a nightmare.
I had tucks pads that I would keep in the fridge and put on my heavy duty Always pads to help my stitches(they're meant for hemorrhoid use but have witch hazel in them), I bought more of the mesh underwear since my hospital only provides 1 pair, I bought a sitz bath that can sit in your toilet(it saved me from sitting in a tub since getting down & out was a problem), I didn't breastfeed so I was also taking ibuprofen for pain relief.
Plus comfort foods husband would get me and lotsssssss of water to bring down the swelling in my feet & ankles.
Hope that helps!
It'll be okay because yellow polish!
Better yet, a sitz bath
Fill it up with warm water and epsom salt, put in toilet (raise the seat first), and sit.

These tube squeezers are a life saver and really help with getting as much product out as possible!
Here's a weird one: a butter knife.
I use it to open cans that have a pull-tab top without wrecking my fingers. Stick the tip through the loop, lever up.
See also: an electric can opener, this giant pill organizer, these grab bars that can easily be installed in the tiniest of apartment bathrooms without starting an argument with your landlord (priceless!) combined with this hockey tape (put it on your grab bars and crutch handles to keep your hands from slipping) and these anti-slip stickers, (I even put the stickers on the bathroom floor.)
This one also works well. It’s the cheaper version.
Step and go Toilet Stool 7” New -... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G5PTWT4?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Toothpaste Squeezer Winder by Smart-House-Inc - Economical, Saves Toothpaste, Creams, Paint & More - Puts an end to Waste of Creams, Ointment and Pastes - Simple and Practical for Every Home https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GVYCMKW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_nS2BCbVCWFAWN
No problem.
Since he has a chest access, he probably won't be able to take showers. I recommend getting these disposable wipes and shower caps for him. I used those when I had my catheter in my chest when I first started dialysis and it helped me stay clean.
Good luck to you and your brother and stay strong. He needs a lot of support.
This guy needs to make up for all of these years of doing it wrong, and put some distance between himself and his business.
Hi
I ordered these sitz materials from amazon, in case others are still looking:

I'm so sorry about your cold! I am in the same boat. I've got the sinus infection, chest congestion funk, and I am so over it. I didn't sign up either, but that's because student loans are the bane of my existence, and I'm going to be poor for quite some time. :') Thank you so much for letting some special lovely enjoy your basket of bunnies! <3
I missed out on last year's Easter nails because I JUST had started painting, so I am thrilled for this years. I'm probably going to do a few nail art ones, like the peep one you saw, or this top left one, or even something like this. Or maybe I'll just end up doing them all. :3
I think the mainstreams I would be tickled with are I Can't Copacabana and this beauty right here!. Both are just so summer-y, and do want.
Oh my gosh, SO, turns out my life is incomplete because I don't own Bear Pawlish Peek A Boo. I just, saw it, then my brain imploded and a piece of me died. A piece that can only be brought back if I own it. drool Isn't it beautiful?! I'm also in love with this Glam Polish because the name is special to the hubs and I. Ohana means family...you know the story. I am super sappy about polish names. :')
Now I can tell clients to "do as the Romans do"
Stupid question - but as I tend to sweat quite a bit during summer and won't be able to always take a shower multiple times a day:
Is something like this (https://www.amazon.com/Rinse-Bathing-Wipes-count-each/dp/B00CBKLSF8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1495470277&sr=8-3&keywords=body%2Bwipes&th=1 ) available in korean stores?
I can't seem to get enough blue either judging by my collection! I'm a little intimidated by yellow, but CG lemon fizz and OPI I Just Can't Cope-Acabana both have lovely formulas.
Ooh and you can even get a fancy bamboo one
LPT: THIS GUY!
Comfort wipe
I use something similar to this: http://www.amazon.com/Apothecary-Family-Medical-Toothpaste-Winder/dp/B00008LUPY/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1409642621&sr=8-4&keywords=toothpaste+squeezer
It cranks out the toothpaste and contains the empty portion.
They have those for toothpaste rolls, not even powered. https://www.amazon.com/Apothecary-Family-Medical-Toothpaste-Winder/dp/B00008LUPY?th=1
Adjustable width between 8" - 24": https://www.amazon.com/Medline-Toilet-Installation-Adjustable-Bathroom/dp/B000BJBH48
It's compressed and curled at the end, it looks like he's already using something like http://www.amazon.com/Apothecary-Family-Medical-Toothpaste-Winder/dp/B00008LUPY/
I agree with some of the other people that an 'experience' gift would be cool, a concert or spa day, but those aren't always feasible so I'll give you some gift gifts that have worked great for my mom.
Handmade soap! I was gifted some from here a while ago and it is amazing.
Some necklaces here and here off of etsy. I'm getting the gold one for my mom, I love the other one too.
I just discovered this expansion pack for Cards Against Humanity called Crabs Adjust Humidity and it looks AMAAAZING. Getting that for the family for Christmas. While getting the link I just noticed there are a few volumes too. Basically from the preview they look 10x as outrageous as regular CAH.
Have you heard of Humans of New York? He put out two books, one of them is 'Little Humans' that focuses on the kids he's taken pics of. My mom used to be a kindergarten teacher so I think it'll be great for her, kinda depends more on what your mom is like or if she'd be into that sort of thing. The other book would be more 'universally liked' but this one just came out this year.
Your mom sounds kinda zany so she might like this book too. I've given his books for several gifts to various people. They're just super chill and a lot of the pics have a neat message. I tore out several pages and have them framed around my house so maybe even buying the book for yourself and framing a page could be cool.
I got my mom a Sephora perfume sampler thing for Mother's day. One of those that comes with like 10 mini vials and then with a coupon for a free full size bottle of whichever she liked best.
Is she into makeup stuff? A birchbox subscription could be cool. I used to have one, they send you samples and sometimes full sized items once per month. There are a number of companies that do that too so you could shop around.
This is....kind of weird... but seriously the reviews are amazing. And it actually is like the most healthy way to do it. I'm getting one for me and my parents for xmas. They have a two pack for cheaper. It's kind of awkward but if your family is like that (mine are a bunch of jokesters) then it might be fine!
Wellll that's about all I can think of right now, hopefully something helped!!
If she loves you, she'll learn to use something like this :P
https://www.amazon.com/ISKYBOB-Rolling-Toothpaste-Squeezer-Dispenser/dp/B0792RRFG2/
I use these when I'm hiking. Light weight, smells great, and a single pack can last me a week. Also very easy to pack back out.
Get your butt to a specialist surgeon .... someone who knows what he or she is doing with a pilonidal cyst. I had one as a teenager, got it lanced, removed a few months later, got married, pregnant for my first child, and the lovely thing reared (hah! pun) its ugly head again. Same doctor lanced it again. I still have it several decades later, but it has not filled again. Painful!!!! I don't ever want to go through that again. May I suggest a sitz bath ... its a basin that fits in the toilet and you run warm water in through a bag hung somewhere above you. The warm water is soothing and keeps the darn thing clean. I see that doctors don't prescribe them any more, but mine was a life saver. Grab your laptop or your tablet or whatever, and set yourself down for several minutes!
http://www.amazon.com/Carex-Health-Brands-P70800-Sitz/dp/B0000533E1
It's called a key. Metal tube roller key to be exact. If you can't find one at Home Depot or a car supply store, you can get them at beauty supply stores.
I have a 6.5 mile commute from Carroll Gardens into midtown east. I usually leave a few suits, 6 shirts, and shoes at my office. Do dry cleaning around work.
The only thing I need to pack are underwear and socks. Yes, I have forgotten them a few times and had to go commando. = /
Sounds like you need one of these toilet stools: Step and go Toilet Stool 7” New - Proper Toilet Posture for Better and Healthier Results, 2 Pound https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G5PTWT4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_y5D5CbZZB5T5S
This
As much as I hate to say this... with all of my health problems, I really need this so that I don't struggle to get off the toilet anymore. It sucks trying to get up but I keep making excuses when I have the extra money to buy it and talk myself out of getting it.
you should get this
Alredy been done: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000KJZ13C?tag=dvdmaailm
Install one of these and wait for her to figure it out.
Get yourself a sitz bath. It will help you heal faster and feel better, and sitting in it forces you to take some time for yourself.
