More toys are coming. There are already toys that feature Rey, but she wasn't included in everything because they wanted to make toys with her holding a lightsaber, which would spoil the reveal that happens at the end of the film. They released a photo of a toy with her holding a lightsaber before the film came out and the internet got pretty upset about the spoilers, so I can't blame them for being cautious. It's the reason they kept her off the Star Wars themed Monopoly. The notion that Disney, which licenses toys for all of their princesses, would avoid making a toy for the lead to the new Star Wars movie is absurd.

collecting robot action figures. Cheapest way to get into it is buying kits you put together yourself, most of which are models from the Gundam sci-fi universe. There are a lot of factors that go into collecting including articulation, color accuracy, stability, materials, and price point, but that's not terribly relevant in the beginning!

if you want to try it out, all you need is a pair of wire cutters or an xacto knife! I'd recommend the high grade Gundam Barbatos or the high grade Burning Gundam. High grade means smallish and easy to put together in an afternoon, so for less than the cost of snacks and a movie you can put together your own little shelf buddy.

Dat's true. Although I honestly don't like playing platformers on handheld much.

It's also currently a bit more than I'm willing to spend on a collection, especially when I still need to get MM11 and both X Collections. I did see this amazing figure when looking for it, though. Even as someone who hasn't touched the X series, that thing looks incredible.

I would suggest Hyrule Historia over Legend of the Hero. Hyrule Historia is an official Nintendo product with their art and whatnot included. The other book appears to be more of a fan thing; I am not familiar with it. The downside to Hyrule Historia is it's a bit of a promotional product released prior to Skyward Sword, so it's sort of heavy on the Skyward Sword content.

If he wants a cool display piece, I know many people like the various Zelda figma action figures. They are good quality and well made, in my opinion.

Other than that, Etsy has Zelda items. You are almost certainly safe to order something custom on there and know your friend doesn't own it yet.

I am not TB (obviously), but I do collect toys and have considered getting an Amiibo just so I could have a little desk Kirby- and I don't even have a WiiU. That said, it's entirely fair to disparage an Amiibo for their relatively small price to size comparison or for the quality of the plastic.

A Kirby Amiibo is $13, and a couple inches tall. By contrast, you can get a 5" plush Kirby for $12, a whole stack of Kirbies for $30, or a really nice poseable Kirby with different hats and weapons for $40. And that's just a quick search on Amazon- there's no telling what sort of deals you could get at eBay or a comic con. So, I think it's fair to say the value of Amiibos is somewhat inflated due to branding and mass production. Of course, lines that haven't been heavily merched, such as Shovel Knight or Earthbound, are significantly more valuable to collectors.

So, what does this mean? Nothing, really. I just wanted to talk about toys and look up Kirby on Amazon.

It sound like you want a model. If there were such a place where you could request poses with lighting it would definitely be a paid service.

My recommendations:

• get rich, get a model
  
• go to a life drawing class and request a pose
  
• create digital collage of the pose you want. I did this for a project and it turned out well. I didn't look for whole poses, just parts of poses and stitched them together in photoshop. I made the lighting myself.
  
• learn Poser, a 3d posing software and create your own poses and lighting

I would get the Gunpla you want but I would HIGHLY suggest a HG kit first since you are new to modelling. It will get you in the hang of getting pieces off the sprue, cleaning them up, and following the instructions. The HGBF kits are fairly new and very nice/easy to build. Besides, if you make beginner mistakes better to not make them on the kit you fell in love with.

Build Burning is a super popular HGBF kit and its relatively cheap on amazon.

I ran that starters guide with my 10 yr old son (we're one session in) and he loved it! They also make miniatures of the pre-gen character sheets so that was a good hook my son enjoyed being his character.

The starter set comes with a little map of the first encounter so it helped him understand how the combat system worked and what he could do.

Only advise I can give really is whatever he wants to do let him. If he wants to cast a purple fireball let him, don't ruin his imagination just help drive/steer it. I let my son have this glowing armor that had purple lightning coming off it but really it was just chainmail so he didn't get any cool extra damage but in his head he was a badass and that to me is what's important.

OH and Wizards and what not are a little more difficult so basically I'd ask "what type of power do you want to use lightning, fire, ice, wind, etc?" and then whatever his answer I'd cast "firebolt" 1d8 if I remember correctly but I'd describe the move that he wanted to do. Some people may disagree but again I wanted them to feel like they were the coolest dudes in the realm!

Like you said, there are few red flags like the Visa, MasterCard and PayPal logos aren't links. The design is kind of poor quality and mostly, they got only 20 reviews with almost only 5 stars, weird. My next step is to write them an email to give me more details about their company.
