“Listen, I have- people tell me all the time, smart people, ok, and I know because I was with them. This deal is terrible, and as everyone knows, very unfair with the Mueller witch hunt. When I talk to you guys, reporters aren’t- they don’t print either this or that. But we have a fantastic budget coming, and I think it’s great, everyone is going to love it. Just fantastic. And you’ll see about the wall.”

Edit: thanks for my first gold and the new threads.

Can you just imagine what Muellers office must look like?

The mental image I like is that of the old detective shows. You know how they have a wall of suspect photos, all linked by some red string? Well I envision Muellers team has something like that.... but it takes up all the walls of a airplane hanger.

I’m looking forward to the day Trump is headed to court to face the music. I’ll be wearing my new Muller Time shirt some redditor here made. It’s gonna be a great day indeed.

u/icametodropbombs · 150 pointsr/politics

You know who has a pile of shit on Trump? Mueller. He's watching. Always watching.

Remember when Trumps lawyer told him this would all be over by Thanksgiving? Then Christmas? Then New Years? lol Trump is so fucked and his shitty team of 3 white collar lawyers are not only in over their heads, a few of them maybe wrapped up in all of this.

Why would anyone be trumps lawyer? It isn't the money, cause he has none. It isn't the fame, cause youll just be infamous. So why rep Trump? Hubris. lol glhf. I actually bought that tshirt posted in a thread yesterday and I'm gonna pass it down to my kids someday like a concert tshirt.

u/faithfulidiot · 120 pointsr/politics

All RICO all day, baby!

Like I told my parents, we are witnessing history. Today seems like a good day to wear my new Mueller time shirt that someone posted here last week. Someday, I'm going to pass that down to my kids like a concert T-shirt. ill be telling them stories about the day the Mueller dropped the hammer on the president. edit: Can't find original post but got it here.

SMS makes for a very poor second factor, and unfortunately, it is frequently accepted as a way to recover accounts -- even if you don't choose to make it your primary second factor.

I believe, Google is the only company that gets this right. You can set up your GMail account to only allow hardware tokens as secure second factors. This is a lot more secure, and it is a good idea for something as important as your primary e-mail account. But it can at times be somewhat cumbersome.

But in either case, use a second factor. And this is the order of how secure they are:

0. enable Google's "Advanced Protection". Extremely secure. Mostly easy to use. But some services don't quite work right with it yet.

  1. get a FIDO U2F token. Super-crazy secure, and very easy to use. By default, you can always fallback on alternative authentication methods (e.g. Google Authenticator or SMS), if you don't have your U2F token at hand. I linked you to the NFC-enabled version of the token, as that allows for using it with Android phones. There also are Bluetooth-enabled tokens for iPhones. Or USB-only tokens, which are much cheaper, but don't work with cell phones.
  2. Google Authenticator software app on your phone. Pretty secure, and reasonably easy to use.
  3. SMS codes. Better than nothing, but actively exploited for attacks. Somewhat annoying to use.
  4. Password-only. Too insecure for most applications.
u/PLanPLan · 43 pointsr/technology

>Because it has no sophisticated electronics inside, it's also said to last as long as 60 days on a single button battery.

60 days? I bought my Casio G-SHOCK over 4.5 years ago and it hasn't required a battery change yet.

EDIT: Apparently the G-SHOCK has an official battery life of 10 years.

Here is what I came up with for you...

Start with these Rocky boxers

Then you'll want these Rex Kwon Do style pants. I know I wouldn't want a roundhouse kick in the face from these bad boys. AMERICA!

Then you'll toss on this America 3 wolves shirt.

For added flair you can wear this vest or the rocky robe over your shirt. You can take this or leave it.

I don't think you can really pull off a belt with the above pants, but if you go with the ones in your link or something like them, here is belt buckle for you.

No trashy American outfit is complete without an American flag bandana on your head.

You can top it all off with this bad ass aviators.

For your wallet, keys, etc, you may want to rock this awesome fanny pack.

'MERICA!!!

edit---

Do this.. Seriously. Fuck "fashion". You're 21 on July 4th. Have a fucking blast man. You'll talk to so many people and have a lot more fun like this vs going with some MFA uniform. It's your birthday and you're 21 so you can pull this shit off. Post pics (if you remember anything after the first hour).

Look into second factor authentication. Here is one version of a hardware key that is needed to login, they can have your password but without this key they cant get in https://www.amazon.com/Yubico-YubiKey-NEO-USB-Authentication/dp/B00LX8KZZ8

You can also use google authenticator, requiring a code each time there is a new login attempt.

Try panache underwire sports bra.
It comes in so many sizes and is great for high impact. I couldn’t recommend it more! I think they also make a non wired one if that’s what you are looking for, I’ve never tries that though.

Your cell phone has a unique key, IMSI, which authenticates your device and is paired with your number. Someone can definitely spoof their number as yours, but wouldn't be able to receive your data stream.

Google gives you the option to use a physical device like the YubiKey as an alternative to using a mobile device.

u/wicksa · 13 pointsr/badwomensanatomy

Yasss! Get yourself this bra. It's in UK sizing though so make sure you aren't using US sizing. And it runs a little tight so you might have to sister size up for comfort. But it's true, it keeps those things in their place.

u/kspieler · 12 pointsr/bisexual

I started wearing a bisexual pride pin in some places. It is a small reminder that I am glad to be me, and I've gotten some compliments on it. Not many Gay Men or Lesbians seem to know the bi colors, so it's been a pretty good conversation starter.

Hey r/watches! This is my concise collection of budget watches. I’ve been collecting for about a year now and have been having a great time with the hobby. As a student, I can’t really afford anything expensive, so I’ve been looking for budget pieces with good value. Here are my pieces:

Sea-Gull 1963 : Got this from Long Island Watch and it has been great. I initially had a problem with a pusher falling out, but I emailed Marc and he sent me a replacement right away. The customer service at Long Island Watch is phenomenal; Marc responded within a few hours of my email the day after Christmas. He even offered to upgrade me to the sapphire version, though I declined because I prefer the acrylic.

Nodus Trieste : This is a great diver from a new microbrand out of California. I got the STP 1-11 version, though the version with the Seiko movement is probably a better value. I love how this watch resembles the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe, but avoids being an homage. The unique umbrella hands are also a great touch. The watch runs well within the promised +/- 5 sec a day, losing about 5 sec per week. I haven’t seen any on this sub, so let me know if you want a review.

Seiko SNK807 : This was my first automatic and I honestly couldn’t be happier with it. The lack of hacking and handwinding is kind of a bummer, but for under $60 I can’t complain at all. I put a high dome on it and polished the bezel a little bit ago in order to keep things interesting.

The straps on the Nodus and the Seagull are from cheapestnatostraps.com. I really like the NATO on the Nodus, but I’d stay away from the leather NATOs. The strap on the Seiko is from Barton , and I 10/10 would recommend.

u/OMGTehAwsome · 8 pointsr/fitbit

I bought three leather and one canvas watch straps by Barton, though any quick-release 22mm band will do. The pins on the Versa are just a tiny bit elongated, so you will need to replace the pins on the watch band with longer ones, though you can remove the pins from the FitBit silicone band if you're not using it. Here's a picture of mine, taken right now.

I have the Panache Underwire Sports Bra and it's a feat of engineering. My large cup boobs don't bounce when I wear it running. I've also heard good things about Shock Absorber sports bras as well.

u/mwyckoff · 7 pointsr/Watches

I'd second a Timex, but I'd recommend one from their Fairfield collection.

u/Herrfurher12 · 7 pointsr/Watches

You've heard wrong. MVMT is the absolute worst company for the price. It is just a chinese watch with chinese movement, nothing new. avoid brands like these, for ex: Daniel Wellington. I suggest you start by looking at Timex, my favorite brand. After that, Seiko, Orient, Citizen etc. I'm giving you amazon links to my favorite ones.

I present to you my budget watch collection!

Bottom Row:

Cleaning cloth, cufflinks/ring/tieclip...

Skagen 430LSX Variant
This was my 5 year gift from Best Buy, and I wore it every day for almost 6 years. it was sleek, and functional, and I got almost daily comments on it. I enjoyed it, and I still wear it on occasion, but some time last year, I started poking around, and getting the itch. All off a sudden I was lurking here, and poking around on watch blogs, and as if all at once, a new hobby was birthed.

Timex Weekender
My third watch, once I became more educated on watches and how to wear them, I really wanted to get my hands on a casual, weekend watch. One that I could wear with jeans and a shirt. This really fit the bill, and I love that I can swap out the strap super easy. I wear a different tie every day, so it's nice to carry that over into the weekend as well. Yeah, it's loud, but I grew up in a home with pendulum clocks in every room, so it's practically silent in that regard.

Gemony Straps I got on super sale, another random strap that came with the Rider

Rider GT&FQ M002 (Nomos Knockoff)
After much deliberation, my grail watch was decided upon, as the Nomos Ludwig 38. This is not that watch, obviously. I fell in love quickly with the Bauhaus style watch, and as a father of 2 on a single income, it's going to take some time to reach the point of getting my hand on a genuine German Made Bauhaus. So I went with the Chinese knockoff. There is a direct knockoff of the Ludwig, but I decided to go with the Arabic numerals, because I wanted to keep the grail that more special. I also grabbed a Fluco suede brown strap to spruce it up a bit. It is by far my favorite watch I own, and I keep having to find reasons not the wear it (such as all the other watches I love).

Skagen Archer Chronograph
This was my second watch. After the quality displayed by my first Skagen, and my initial worry about an automatic being a bit too thick, I went with this quartz chrono. It's a bit flashy, and I love the seamless transition to the leather strap. Of course as my first chronograph, for the first moth I was timing everything, but that has since slowed down, and now I just use it to make the perfect cup of tea, and time awkward silence in meetings. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase, as it gives me a second dress watch to swap out with the Rider at work. between these two, my Monday-Thursday is set.

Seiko SNK615
This started as a big blue walmart watch for Christmas from my Grandmother. Bless her heart, she really wanted to get me a nice watch. I just didn't like it though, it was a bit too flashy, and was huge, even on my moderately sized wrists. Thankfully she included the receipt, so that I could swap it out for something else. I was able to do just that, got cash back, and went online to find a new watch that was still in the spirit of her gift: Bracelet, Blue, Simple Faced. I ran across this guy on Amazon, and I know it was the right fit! I added $20 to her money, and secured my first Seiko 5! I do like it a lot, and the date is far easier to read than on the Skagen, and I think that this is probably one of my most versatile watches. easily work on casual Friday with an oxford shirt and jeans, as well as with a sweater on the weekends. I'm also a big fan of the yellow (? colorblind) accents on the second hand and numbers.

Well, there you have it, my humble collection, built on almost no budget.
____

I'm looking at for my next purchase to be a big busy watch with a slide rule, there's a Casio Ediface, and a Seiko that I've got my eye on... or if I decide to spend some real money, a sub grail of mine, the Citizen Red Arrows Chrono AT

u/chill1217 · 5 pointsr/frugalmalefashion

If you want to still keep your work keys on a separate ring from your house keys, you could try something like the Free Key System.

Otherwise, you could try something like the Keysmart, and put your 5 keys in that, and then just have that, the car key, and the fob on the ring.

I personally use the Keysmart, and it's been great so far. I've had mine for a few months already, and it's held up great. My best friend has had one for several years, and his is also in great condition.

I also recommend a suspension clip, I've been using this one by Keysmart recently, so I just drop my keys in my pocket but hook them on the top of my pocket. That makes it easier to pull the keys out of your pocket, and also keeps them dangling in your pocket as opposed to bunching up at the bottom.

Hope this helps!

u/Sifu_Fu · 5 pointsr/EDC

I personally have tried 3 different sets of Key/Carry solutions. So I will tell you my impressions and let you make your decisions for yourself

I started looking a few weeks ago link here and tried the two I asked. I have a few $ to burn and figured I could give one away if I didn't like it.

KEYBINER

Keybiner is my EDC now for everything except for when I ride. I got the Titanium one. This thing is tough and it does not scratch easily. A little on the heavy side but I do like it and end up clipping it out of the way of my way for most of the time I have it on me. Implementation is easy and when they made a mistake (missing a screw) the guys over at Fortiusarms immediately sent me a new set of screws free and followed up with me. To me this is AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE and I plan on ordering my best friend one for his welcome home gift after he gets back from his tour.

Now this product isn't without its drawbacks. If you tighten the screws too tight they are hard to move; too little and they flop about. Also the "estimate amount of keys" is slightly off or my house keys are much larger than normal.

KeyPort

This is a pretty nifty idea and works well for my motorcycle when I carry. The reason this isn't my primary EDC is because of the bulk. I mean this thing is kind of thick in my pockets. I don't mind that most of the time but if you just throw on a couple of shorts and wanted to take the dog for a run this bangs around in your pocket a bunch (at least for me). Thier customers support is pretty good and I did not have a problem getting my keys done through them.

What I think you might be looking for though is this

KEYSMART
I also own this. It is a nice bar size and is pretty good overall. Same torque lock in method as the Keybiner, but no hook to hook on. It is a mixture between the KeyPort and the KeyBiner. I ordered the (2-10) key version and liked it at first, but it didn't suit my needs at all. I could not fit more than 4 keys in it, and if I didn't shave some of my keys down it would stick out and not close correctly. House keys and lock keys work fine, but motorcycle and anything with a rubber head protector tended to be too bulky. The vibrations also would loosen the tightness of the lock so when I ride the device would fold in on itself or hit my cluster.

This does work well though if you don't mind tossing your keys into a bag or want to keep it slim and thin.

Hope this helped.

As a Krogan who loves his guns, I found that I often had trouble carrying all of them around. I wanted a backpack to lug them about to and from Palaven to help in my fight against the reapers. Unfortunately, backpacks are made on Earth, so most are developed for humans. I contacted the Shadow Broker about a fix for my dilemma. He pointed me to the Pangolin backpack, which would comfortably fit the shape of my hump. It was a bit pricey, but worth the cost. Now I can carry my Revenant, my Graal Spike Thrower, AND my Widow easily wherever I go.

After the genophage was cured, I decided to foster krogan babies. Long story! Anyway, I wanted to spare no expense for my babies. They needed a tough rucksack to carry their supplies to Pyjak hunting class. It was difficult to find a suitable bag because they were all mostly emblazoned with Hanar Montana faces which is, frankly, not befitting of an aspiring Battlemaster! This pangolin backpack is classy, fits comfortably on any hump big or small and won't get you headbutt in the cafeteria.

Hey, congrats on the new bike! I've got a 2014 as well, and this is the case I have on mine. It's lockable and big enough to fit a jacket, groceries, tools, etc. Once unlocked and you are home, it comes off the back easily to be carried inside. You'll have to drill some holes to mount the base, but it's not that big of a deal. Good luck, brother!

Haha well I would be way more happy with SoCal weather right now. I can only get out when the roads are clear and even then I still have to take it easy. I'm riding like a grandpa most of the time.

And I got the Emgo travel trunk on Amazon. I can't say enough good things about it. Durable, rugged, easy to install and sells for a great price ($65 shipped with prime). Best of all, they look badass on dual sport bikes. You should definitely get one.

Sure thing, here ya go.

On my '93 rear rack, two of the holes lined up perfectly – I only had to drill two more to get it mounted securely.

u/Atomic_Bicycle · 2 pointsr/Dualsport

It's an ancient art passed down from KLR rider to KLR rider. I recently came into some money, so I splurged on the $60 locking trunk from Amazon. Thankfully, it still retains the all-plastic soul of the milk crate. However, it is fancy enough that all my friends keep calling me things like, "moneybags," and asking me to buy them gas or lunch...

u/JasonTodd21 · 2 pointsr/CB500X

I use the following rack and top box. Had them installed for a year now and they've worked great for a few camping trips on rough roads. Both are an easy install and they couple well together. Box is easily removed with a key, otherwise it's always locked when closed. The rack was quite a bit cheaper when I got it.

I have worn these (https://www.amazon.com/Nippies-Reusable-Silicone-Pasties-NON-ADHESIVE/dp/B001O482W4) every day for about two years and love them. They are silicone and manage to stick to your skin without any adhesive. I am not sure if a ring would interfere with this sticking process at all, but I would think they would still work. Let me know if you end up trying them because I've considered getting this piercing.

u/pettoyaki · 2 pointsr/TwoXChromosomes

I got these. https://www.amazon.com/Nippies-Reusable-Silicone-Pasties-NON-ADHESIVE/dp/B001O482W4

Sometimes I will give them a quick spritz with a small spray bottle so they adhere better. They've never fallen off, but the initial adhesion can be tough if your skin is dry and/or it's super cold.

u/t_maia · 2 pointsr/ABraThatFits

A properly fitting bra will support and separate your breasts without pressing them too tightly to your chest. It sounds like that's what you're looking for. What I would recommend is first to use the calculator and then post a measurement check with your measurements so the community here can help you find your ideal fit. I think it's likely that the bras you have been wearing are too large in the band and too small in the cup, which is just a recipe for discomfort.

Once you have found your ideal size, a bra with a nice snug band and soft underwires will be super comfortable. Personally my most comfortable bras are from Comexim, but there are other brands with pretty soft underwires too.

Another option is to go with an encapsulation-style sports bra. These bras are designed to completely surround your breasts and hold them snugly in place without compressing them. The gold standard for this type of bra is the Panache Sport. I get the "oozing" problem you describe with some compression-style sports bras, but the Panache keeps everything in place nicely.

u/DeciduousTree · 2 pointsr/thebachelor

Sure, it’s this one. I usually buy them when the less popular colors go on sale.

u/Red_Mare_ · 2 pointsr/Equestrian

I wear a Panache underwire sports bra. I'm a 30GG, so I need the support. And it does a pretty good job. I had to size down to a 30G in the sports bra because of shape issues, though.

Eta: I got mine from Amazon here http://www.amazon.com/Panache-Womens-Underwired-Sports-Black/dp/B005VNFJFW/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1451699304&sr=8-1&keywords=panache+sports+bra

u/quaith · 2 pointsr/ABraThatFits

Aww, your emoticon is so sad! The Panache Sport has kind of padded wires? In my experience, it's not great at separation and it's very full coverage, but looks like it gives a good shape/support in your size range. FYI, generally people report the band runs firm and the cup runs small, so you might want to try a 36H/38GG as well as your normal size.

u/ReadWriteRecycle · 2 pointsr/tifu

Agree with all the r/abrathatfits recommendations, but wanted to add a suggestion she try 2toms SportShield swiped along where the band will sit and under where the clasps will be if she’s going to be exercising in humid or rainy conditions or doing cardio for over an hour. Even the best fitting sports bra (my pick is Panache Underwire over Freya or Shock Absorber) still has the potential to chafe!

I just answered a nearly identical question in the SQ thread. To quote:

> I've seen this asked before and people typically say to look at military surplus.

> Here are some other options:

> - Craghoppers ($200) ~ recommended to me from another user here. I have no experience, but he liked his a lot and it looked good in fits.

> - Alpha Industries ($160-$200) ~ once again no experience, but people throw this brand around all the time here.

> - Helly Hansen ($208 after applying 20% off promotion) ~ supposedly underrated brand. Looks like a really nice parka for the price.

All of that said, I have to agree with what /u/thesaltyoubreathe said. It might be worthwhile to stretch your price range to $300 or $400 to get a decent quality parka. Otherwise you might have some luck looking through resale ads on grailed or ebay.

u/xiongchiamiov · 2 pointsr/ModSupport

There are any number of possible "factors", but generally speaking people mean "something you know" and "something you have" when talking about 2FA, and that's where I'll stay for the purposes of this discussion.

"Something you know" covers passwords, answers to security questions, and anything else that's a piece of knowledge you could tell me and I could use to authenticate as you at an arbitrary time in the future.

Most commonly, a "something you have" is a device (smartphone!) that implements HOTP or TOTP. Since the algorithms produce different numbers every 30 seconds, someone who intercepts the number once has no way of predicting what the correct number will be after the 30-second period has finished. This is really important, because it means to successfully compromise your account, an attacker not only has to steal or guess your static password (which they can do remotely), but steal a physical device that you probably keep on your person, and either alert you to it being stolen or copy the inputs the device uses for the OTP algorithm (which isn't trivial).

Personally, I use a Yubikey and either U2F or their HOTP/TOTP app. It's pretty cheap compared to most HSMs, and is significantly less likely to be compromised than my computer or phone. For most people, an OTP app is sufficient, but since I often find myself with full-access Amazon credentials for companies and things like that, I have a bit of a more paranoid risk model than most.

u/abd1tus · 2 pointsr/androidapps

I've been using LastPass at home and work. I also like it since I just started playing around with and liking a NFC U2F card, which the LastPass android client is compatible with.

So you seem against luggage, but let me tell you that even having 1 top case is so convenient. Especially since you can just open it, throw your crap in & close it. You don't have to worry about anything getting loose either.

I have the full KLR luggage set (Tail bag, saddle bags, & tank bag) since I got it free with my bike (kinda overpriced otherwise IMO but the tank bank is totally worth it.) but I'm thinking of moving to something like this as it's pretty cheap for what it is & pretty popular: https://www.amazon.com/Emgo-72-32440-Travel-Trunk/dp/B000GVD0VE (probably not the cheapest price so I'd keep looking)

That one is also quick release so if you want to only put it on when you know you need it you can leave it off until you need it.

As for bulky stuff I keep 4 bungee cords that I use for things like camp chairs, tents, & sleeping bags.

u/iclimbrocks2 · 1 pointr/dr650

I have the hi-viz nelson riggs dry bags that are like 100 bucks on Amazon. They are a bit deformed from mistreating them, but they keep everything dry and stay put pretty well. I also carry everything I need to dismantle my entire bike and spare parts everywhere. I am over-packed 99% of the time. They have held up to falls and everything. The saddle bags are about twice as big as the crash bars they sit on. So the top part is supported but the bottom sags in and deforms the rigid back of the bag. It works fine, it just looks a little sloppy. I also have the this box mounted on this rack that I am very pleased with for the price. The box is cheap, but it is easily removed, locks (even though its just plastic and can be easily broken into probably), and it doesn't allow any water in even in the heaviest of rain. I have put these to the test, and they have held up for 8000 punishing miles so far.

As for the fuel problem, do you have the stock tank? I use MSR fuel containers that are specifically designed to handle pressurized fuels. I took a couple with me on the TAT, but never needed them with a 5.3 gallon tank. I definitely would have needed one with the stock tank though as I did a span of 180ish miles between fuel stops. So they mostly just get used to catch gas when I take the tank off or do carb work. I would say keep them outside of your duffels if you can just for the sake of everything not smelling like gas.

The most important part of the system is how you attach it. You don't want things moving around because it will destroy them. Even sand in your tent fly bouncing around on the back of the bike will ruin it as I learned when suddenly my tent was no longer water tight after 3000 miles on the back of the bike.

Hey everyone! I've got two main questionsthat have been bugging me today, so here goes:

  1. Which color of Thorogood 6" Moc Toe Boots is more versatile? I want to wear them with both lighter chions and dark wash jeans, and the two options seem to be tobacco, a light tan/brown, and a darker brown.

  2. Are these Ray-Ban Clubmasters legit? The lower price has me worried. I've read that Ray-Ban is now producing authentic sunglasses in China, but I just want to make sure I'm not spending 100 dollars on a cheaply built knockoff. I'm sure I'll be able to return them if that's the case, but it'd be nice to have some advance reasurrance. Thanks!

I wear these, the non-adhesive kind, once in a while. They work okay, great for when you just don't want to strap/bind your chest. They just need a bit of a wash after every few uses. I've had mine for a year and a half.

These https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001O482W4/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 are the best by far. Super thin edge and no sticky side that wears off over time. They stay on incredibly well (for me) as long as I'm wearing a fairly tight fitting top. I have had one fall off twice in the year I've had them, both times I was sweating a lot, wearing a loose top, and bending over a lot (gardening).

u/zygie · 1 pointr/Watches

Your size requirement is quite limiting, and like 75footubi, I would recommend against it unless you have giant wrists (like 7.5"+ around or 55mm+ wide).

If it must be, I recommend this Casio Edifice. Listing says 45.5mm wide, on a stainless steel band. Flight computer styling (for pilots), it's inexpensive but it's from Casio's Edifice line, which are fine for what they are.

If you don't like that particular style, just search Amazon for more Casio Edifice watches, they do have larger sized watches. You might also find something you like from Citizen's offerings, but I haven't found one that exceeds around 42-43mm at the price point.

u/daLeechLord · 1 pointr/Watches

For a $100 quartz, I would go with a Casio. You can get one with a chrono and a slide rule, for about $100.

You can get something a little less busy, like a Casio Edifice, which is solar powered. The good thing about this is you never have to worry about batteries.

And yes, Casio is a reliable brand. Nothing to brag about to watch snobs, but very good bang for the buck.

u/sacundim · 1 pointr/Watches

Nobody seems to have noticed that the watch with the three subdials has a slide rule bezel. The slide rule is rendered very photorealistically, suggesting that it's rendered from a photo of a watch.

To my eye, the slide rule bezel looks like a Citizen or Casio slide rule watch (which look suspiciously similar, as if the two companies' slide rule bezels are from the same source; the Seiko ones look different).

EDIT: compare to this Casio Edifice, to this Citizen Nighthawk. Here's a Seiko for contrast.

u/AliTheAce · 1 pointr/Watches

So I am looking for a watch like this one linked here which is unfortunately out of stock

Citizen Chronograph, 44mm. I'm fine with a black dial or a blue dial. Going for something similar to a Omega Speedmaster but not exactly. I LOVE the aesthetic of the linked watch. Speedmaster's indications are a little thin for my preference.

Preferably 44-45mm. Although I have a small wrist, I like the legibility of a 44mm. Quartz is preferred (sorry, automatics aren't in my price range).

Under $250 Canadian as well if possible, as that's where I currently am.

Any recommendations for a pilot chronograph with a slide rule? The Seiko Flightmaster is a little too small. Is the Casio Edifice EF527D-1AV good? link Look wise I love it. Again would prefer 44mm, but 42mm should be fine too.

u/GhostalkerS · 1 pointr/Watches

As for the solid links I think so, but the end links on this Nighthawk-esque Casio Edifice look stamped.

The only reference I can find to Casio and solid end links is to this watch and its color variants. I would also like to add that is is very size adjustable. I have small wrists @ 6.25" and removed several links to get it to my size, and still have three more I could remove.

I know I already left another comment, but I had another thought I wanted to be sure to share with you. You might want to switch from compression to encapsulation styles. I'm queen of attention to details

SNAKE If you like them..

Or an owl if you like less creepy things? Even though owls are pretty creepy if you think about it..

I've got a ton of things.. ._. A lot of owls.. I think I may be drawn to them?

And an octopus. Which is also creepy..

I question my taste. Haha.

And here's the second-least expensive too because the first is a functional, practical thing and sometimes you feel like gifting something fun instead.

Have you considered a Uniqlo down coat? They have some good choices under $200 that should keep you warm this winter. Also check out the Alpha N-3B.

Is that the Natick Uniqlo, by the way? I swear I've taken a fit pic in front of that exact mirror.

Some colors and sizes are more expensive than others, but some are still around $120. I picked up the replica gray and orange and I love the contrasting colors to death.

This Alpha Industries hooded fishtail which only appears to be available in Europe but can be obtained thru third party sellers at Amazon or Ebay. Its fairly pricy but I like the way it look. If I don't go for that one I will probably get the Alpha N3B Slim Parka which is aesthetically less pleasing to me but probably just as functional. Anyone have experience with the first one?

Thoughts on the Charlie by Herschel?

u/Nojopar · 1 pointr/AskWomen

It's similar to this one, but not exactly that. I've got myself down to license, work ID, check card, 2 credit cards (mine and one I have to use for work purchases), grocery shopper card ('cause the damn thing won't scan my iPhone App), and every once in while some cash.

u/HAVE-A-CHOCOLATE · 1 pointr/minimalism

By any chance is it the Herschel Charlie Wallet? I've been looking at this for some time now but feel like it would get pretty annoying dealing with my cash folded up in the middle. Sounds like it's not really an issue?

u/A_Cyd · 1 pointr/EDC

This is the exact one I got. I only use it for 4-keys. It came with extensions, so i could probably fit another 2-keys tops. If you see my earlier post, you can note that to be affective, the supplied washers need to be on either side of each key. Well, they take up space and make it tight, but it works great. I can only comment on 6-keys worth. If you have more than that, I would continue researching.

u/iftodaywasurlastday · 1 pointr/Bitcoin

I was just explaining it to u/floofugus. After reading these stories, I am removing my mobile phone from most sites that need 2FA and getting a Yubikey. I hope Gemini gets back to you in time. They seem like a well run exchange, so I suspect you'll be fine.

u/VAPossum · 1 pointr/modnews

Is this it? Because $50 isn't that cheap, and the last thing I need is one more thing to remember to carry around with me.

u/butmahm · 1 pointr/Watches

It's this I believe but with a different band

u/Turbosack · 1 pointr/malefashionadvice

So I've been wearing one of those digital Casio watches for awhile now and I'm looking to change it up a bit. Everyone seems to recommend the Timex weekender as a good cheap watch, so I was thinking of going with that. I just want to know exactly which face/band I should go with.

I'm changing up my wardrobe for this summer, and it's going to consist mostly of chino shorts in various colors, tshirts, and some light button-ups I got from H&M with boat shoes or basic sandals (Rainbow). I was thinking of going for something preppy-ish like this watch face with this band. I would just get the one that comes with that band, but the watch face looks weirdly formal and out of place to me. Also getting the two parts separately actually ends up cheaper.

Any thoughts? Does that combo work? Would it be alright with the olive band?

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0194L637E/ref=twister_B01LYMU6EN?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I'd just get whichever the cheapest is (should be silver colored with a white face), then go to www.cheapestnatostraps.com and get whichever straps you want them to wear.

Hello everyone! I would like to get the community's recommendation for a classic steel case, white dial, brown leather strap dress watch and a diver's watch. My current collection of watches include - Seiko SNN241, Seiko SNA695, Seiko Kinetic SKA553, Casio G-Shock Rangeman GW-9400-1CR and a Timex Weekender Fairfield.
I am looking for a classic brown leather strap white dial dress watch. I looked around and finally deicded on this Orient Bambino Version 2, but it is not available anywhere! Out of stock at all retailers. What would you recommend in this style which can be an alternative to the Bambino V2 which is in the price range $200-$250? I am also looking for a Diver's watch in the $150 to $250 range. The choices in this category are quite a lot - Seiko SKX Collection, Seiko Monster SRP Collection, the Orient Ray, Ray II, Mako, Mako USA II. It's overwhelming. With the Diver's watch I would like your recommendation specific to quality and technology of the watch. This way I will be able to prioritize my choice based on quality first and then the aesthetics. Thank you!

u/Thatonesillyfucker · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

I can vouch for this as being a high quality leather strap if you're into those. Would also recommend checking out the accompanying buckles to match your watch casing or just go for something other than the silver the band comes with.

u/turdbogls · 1 pointr/Watchexchange

I have a brand new Casio Durio (MDV -106) I was going to list. I got a couple as a gift from work, already sold the first one, but still have one more.

for $50, I'll throw in a couple straps of your choice.

Clockwork synergy Gray Perlon nato - brand new

clockwork synergy steel blue perlon Nato - Pretty much new, worn 2 times. cut the 2nd strap off, so it's not really a NATO any more...but yeah. cool color, just not for me.

Black Barton leather quick release - used but good condition

dark brown Barton Leather quick release - used but good condition

Clockwork Black/gray stripe NATO with black hardware - used, 2nd strap cut off, and strap shortened to fit a 7.25" writs. it's basically a single layer slip through now.

I'll also throw in a cheap-ass, no-name watch. (head only as I have no 20mm straps)

here's the only pic I have, strap not included.

if you are interested, I'll grab a Pic of everything tonight and we can make this happen. I've sold a few watches here before but apparently no one has left feedback.

u/nicholas6706 · 1 pointr/AndroidWear

I use this https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01KD8JB7G/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1482524966&sr=8-1&pi=SX200_QL40&keywords=22mm+leather+watch+band.
A bit pricey, but totally worth it. It was stiff at first, but it's really comfortable now. IMO leather looks the best on this watch. You don't want to go with some cheapo band that will break and destroy your ZenWatch.

If you really want rubber, I've heard good things about these https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01ASOB8L2/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1482525093&sr=8-4&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=22mm+watch+band&dpPl=1&dpID=51-c5yRfnnL&ref=plSrch but haven't used them personally.

u/BisexualStoner420 · 1 pointr/bisexual

I bought a heart-shaped pin with the bisexual pride colors on Amazon. It was posted here by another redditor, and I love it so much!

u/kamomeel · 1 pointr/bisexual

I've been struggling with the same thing (M17-going-on-18) and I'm afraid I don't know a way to do it as discreetly as you would probably like, although I have some ideas. I'm planning on getting this pin and wearing it all the time. I already wanted to make my bisexuality publicly known in all my circles, but the main point of the pin is that anyone who meets me to know I'm into guys too, without me having to tell each person or hope they'll ask or all tell each other or something. For more discreetness, you could wear the pin only sometimes, or put it on a bag or somewhere where only people really paying attention would notice it, like in a locker or inside a jacket and you can casually flash it when needed. If you are comfortable lying you could tell non-allies that it means you love cool weather or something, or that a character on a show you like wears a pin like it.
