I would suggest this brush set:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01LZ3RLPC/ref=mp_s_a_1_4_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1505673260&sr=8-4&keywords=makeup+brushes&dpPl=1&dpID=51fxuITRZGL&ref=plSrch

Rather than the one you've chosen. I've owned both and have gotten much more use out of the linked one than that other set. While the other is more extensive, this set has more useful brushes and is a little better quality.

Everything else looks great!

u/bee_tee_dubbs · 32 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

How important having the right brush is for success with ABH Dipbrow!

I tried it a few times with a small-ish eyeshadow/lip brush and kept looking like I'd drawn them on with a sharpie.

Once I bit the bullet and got an eyebrow-specific brush (small angle brush on one end, spoolie on the other) my brow game was forever changed.

Doesn't have to be expensive either, I got this one on Amazon and it works great!

u/imasunrae · 30 pointsr/AsianBeauty

I Love organization and love the organization posts :D I posted my ikea-made vanity set in a thread once but I wanted to share the whole setup.

Also /u/Thatsbasic suggested a 'shelfie saturday' in another comment so I thought I'd give it a try :3

u/jcirque · 26 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

The spray bottle in the first picture is a flairosol (wow they are cool) that I filled with aloe vera juice, rosewater, and glycerine.

And no, those are not a new type of packaging for the ordinary. I do totally think they should adopt my idea, but they're just airless pumps purchased from Amazon that I filled with ordinary serums and transferred the label to.

I have generally oily skin.

Edit: Not pictured: CosRx low pH gel cleanser, LRP Toleriane hydrating cleanser, TO 30% peel, and CosRx AHA/BHA toner. They all live in my shower caddy.

Edit 2: here is a link to Amazon for the airless pumps: White Airless Vacuum Pump Travel Bottles Refillable- 1 oz (Set of 6) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01C3UMR46/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_YcfhAb23QR78M

Edit 3: here is my skincare routine. It is in order of product layering, lightest/water based followed by heavier/oil based products. I don't actually look at that though. I have it memorized.

u/crawld · 18 pointsr/WTF

They are only a few bucks at Wal-Mart.

You too can have one!

EDIT: Here is one for 6$ from Amazon

Here:

1 The lightest, flimsiest, and most natural looking - would be an everyday lash for me if I was in a client facing position. My top choice for learner lashes because they are cheap and non irritating, and can take enough of a beating

2 A bit fuller, band is slightly more durable. I like the way these look more than 1, but they are a little bit harder to learn on.

I'd stay away from these entirely because they are absolutely the worst things to work with, and I can usually slap on falsies in about 2 minutes - these take 10 minutes and a bunch of cutting and trimming. band is super inflexible. awful.

good luck! shipping time kind of sucks and is sporadic, i've gotten them within a week or forgotten and see a surprise a month later...

u/elsee28 · 14 pointsr/BuyItForLife

I'm a fan of GoToobs.

They are silicone and the rotating collar reveals the product type.

My ma got knock offs at Target (I think) but can't confirm their BITL status.

Enjoy!

I thought this might be helpful for others who are tight on space. Welcome to my 46 squarefoot closet.
This is everything I used for the vanity, but feel free to ask about other stuff in the pictures.

  • IKEA Storjorm Mirror with built-in light- This mirror has been great. It does need to wired directly into an electrical box; I think there's a workaround for that but I'm not sure.

  • BESTÅ Shelf unit with glass door - two of these bolted to the wall. Super easy to put together and put on the wall. They've been sturdy even when I forget to not lean on it. I do wish I had a glass topper to protect the top shelf from spills. These work particularly well because of their 7 7/8" depth. The unit only sticks out maybe an inch from the door jamb and was the shallowest thing I could find.

  • Acrylic Organizers from Amazon:
    Lipstick,
    Tri cup organizer,
    3 Drawers,
    Multi level palette,
    Nail polish

I find the lipstick organizer to be kind of narrow. KVD bullets don't fit in it, bummer.

Headcovers.com usually has it. http://www.headcovers.com/12867/secure-hold-eyelash-glue-and-eyebrow-adhesive-by-cardani/

The other awesome thing is cheap eyelashes from Amazon, like 10 pairs for $2 kind of cheap. I buy style 0, they look the most like natural. If you wear glasses and find that lashes usually hit your lenses, these are the perfect length. The trick to putting on eyelashes without having your own is to anchor the outer third of the strip first. You hold onto the center of the strip with tweezers, lay the outer corner first, then let go of the strip completely (they shouldn't move) and grab the inner corner with your tweezers and slowly guide the rest of the strip onto your eyelid. If this doesn't make sense, let me know I'll be happy to make a video for you. With the secure hold glue, make sure you let it get a little tacky before applying. About thirty seconds should do it.

It is only as dangerous as the tools you are using. I advocate using oral syringes to administer nicotine. Here is a link to 1ml oral syringes on amazon

With this syringe and a good glass bottle like this I see no reason people can't take on 100mg nicotine as long as they use gloves.

u/Psychonauti · 8 pointsr/shrooms

Try making sure you have your SGFC raised off of the ground by a few inches. Have at least 4 or 5 inches of soaked perlite. Buy a spray mister for less than 9 bucks on amazon like this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00D7BJ6MW/ref=yo_ii_pd_dx_s_1?ie=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00D7BJ6MW&pd_rd_r=JZXCGNS1W0W45EKS2HJ1&pd_rd_w=DpPiD&pd_rd_wg=gRcEj&psc=1&refRID=92AV4PNY1FAMPS4R7SY9

Mist and fan a few times a day until pins form. After pins form, cut way back on misting and fanning. Maybe mist once a day or even two. Fan a couple times a day. They tend to do well with some C02 buildup.

u/Synarya · 8 pointsr/asktransgender

I found this video helpful when I was first learning. It's more in depth than would be needed for a beginners video, but it should help you learn what everything is and what it does. When I was starting with make up, I just focused on learning to apply concealer, foundation, eyeliner and mascara, and then once I felt I had a good grip on those I moved on to learning eye shadow. Still working on making eye shadow look good consistently tho.

Edit: Also, this is a good, cheap brush set to start with

u/honey_tar0t · 8 pointsr/Indiemakeupandmore

Thank you! I found them on amazon and you get 50 5g jars which is about the perfect size for the samples. I don’t fill them all the way with wax though so they smell very strong.

Definitely. I actually just ordered an E.L.F brush set (This one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001HKR6WM/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) and it is a really good beginner set. I didn't wash them before first use, though, and there must've been some kind of chemical on them because it really irritated my skin. After washing they've been perfect though! It's only twelve, and they have directions on the packaging.

u/wishoneverystar · 7 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

Don't wash your face too much, your skin could be greasy because it is too dry. If my face looks greasy during the day, I dab it with a tissue. There are oil absorbing sheets you can get too, like this. Wash with a cleanser, CeraVe is a very popular brand on this sub, and seriously look into some creams with active ingredients like BHA(aka salicylic acid), AHA(glycolic acid + a few others), and benzoyl peroxide. These are 3 things that you can get over the counter. Check out the wiki on the sidebar for "Acne" there are a couple of other ingredients you could look into as well, like vitamin C and clay. If you read this sub more you'll see people mention stuff like clindamcin or tretinoin, but those are Rx so go to a derm if you can.

Have patience! If will get better :)

u/alaskabrown · 7 pointsr/AsianBeauty

Sample containers:
The bottles with the green flip-caps are from Amazon (~0.5oz/15mL each, $21.99 for 36).
The little pots with screw-on lids are also from Amazon (3mL each, $7.99 for 50). I wound up making 2 pots for each sample because they were a little smaller than I had imagined (Starfish Lord, grant me the presence of mind to look at dimensions before ordering things), so next time I might get these slightly bigger ones (5mL each, $10.00 for 50).

Decanting supplies:
I used these plastic transfer pipettes (3mL, $4.50 for 100) to decant anything that I could suck up with them.
Anything in a pot was decanted using these wooden spatulas ($22.98 for 500); I put 2-3 in with each potted sample and kept the rest for myself. (Forgive me, my Spiny-Skinned Savior, for lacking the diligence to wash and dry my plastic spatulas after each use; pray accept my disposable compromise or guide me to a better way).

Baggies:
The small ones are from the Container Store (2.5” x 3”, $0.89 for package of 10).
The larger ones are from Wegmans, but similar ones are available at Target (3.5” x 5.5”, $2.24 for 64).

Markers:
I tested a lot of different markers before I found some that didn’t smear/smudge/wipe-off and that could withstand the watery trials of the bathroom counter. From my own stash, these three worked:
Gold: Montana Acrylic Extra Fine Point (0.77mm) Marker in Matte Gold (Metallic) (available from Dick Blick for $5.35).
White: Sharpie Oil-Based Paint Extra-Fine Point Marker in White (available from Joann for $2.62).
Teal/peacock blue: Derwent Graphik Line Painter (acrylic, 0.5mm) in Brilliant (available from Dick Blick for $3.96).

u/Airyrelic · 7 pointsr/AsianBeauty

No problem. I decanted mine into these bottles and I use a pump on my face, neck and chest. If there's anything left over I smear it on my hands.

u/lgbtqbbq · 7 pointsr/AsianBeauty

I love these from Amazon- mine have lasted more than 6 months and I've refilled some of them multiple times with no issues or breakage. If you have a problem with defective product, Amazon Prime products are best because Amazon has such a generous replacement/refund policy if there's an issue down the line.

u/cats_in_tiny_shoes · 6 pointsr/AskWomen

Travel writer human person here. Feel free to ask questions!

  1. Best travel-related purchases: GoToobs; a good set of noise-cancelling headphones for planes; a Kindle; a durable spinner-wheel carry-on bag (good luggage will change your life, have many recs if needed); slip-on sneakers for airport security and general travel comfort; this converter/adapter; a cute floral baseball cap for bad hair days.

  2. All of the above are my travel necessities for int'l travel. Just good books, good music, my passport, and a fairly open mind. :D

  3. Are you from the US? Look into getting TSA Precheck or Global Entry certification so you can waltz through security and customs. Best thing I ever bought myself.
u/delapse · 6 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

Amazon has some awesome ones - look up "fine mist" spray bottles. This one is my favorite, but it is a little big. Muji has some great ones too.

u/steve9207 · 6 pointsr/DIY_eJuice

This is what I use from Amazon - they're $13 each shipped with Prime. I use two of them and ended up looking like this - that's close to 100 concentrates in the racks themselves (you could fit more if you have smaller bottles (10-15ml). I could probably use a third, since I now have one full row in front and a second starting...

u/YngPhoenix · 5 pointsr/AsianBeauty

I recently decanted my kiku in a spray bottle and LOVE it! https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00D7BJ6MW/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Not only does it spray super finely, but I can't finally start incorporating more body care into my post-shower routine. I used to buy those spray lotions, but wanted to find an alternative that wasn't as wasteful and with better products. Not going back!

Edited to add- please make sure to sanitize your bottle before putting product into it!

u/hikerbikerCO · 5 pointsr/muacjdiscussion

Hmmm, so I don't have an actual vanity and I am a HUGE scavenger/recycler. I basically use things that I already have and make them work for me. Here are some pics so you can better see the use of boxes and lids for organization.

I also use prescription bottles to hold all brushes, mascaras, etc. because I have A TON laying around. For the extremely brief period of time that I used a beauty sponge, I kept it in a prescription bottle cap or a metal cap from a fancy juice bottle.

The 2 boxes I've repurposed to store different make up items. One was a large mascara sampler box that is sturdy and has a nice magnetic closure so I decorated it using packaging to make a collage.

If you're not looking to buy anything new for storage/organization I highly recommend thinking creatively! Perhaps lids from jars (I use the cookie tin as a trash can and the lid as a mixing palette), shoeboxes could work, or with the upcoming holidays any boxes you may receive. Do you have baskets laying around or glasses/bakeware that are unused?

Not everyone wishes to go my route when it comes to organization so there are specific organizers like this one from Amazon and many you can find at TJ Maxx/Marshall's/Home Goods that are inexpensive. Always remember at those stores, things can be turned into storage or organizers! Particularly kitchen items like spice displays/racks or fridge organizers.

And depending on how you'd like to store your nail polish, wall displays are also nice and somewhat space saving. Here is an example from Amazon, but I believe Ikea and other stores have single shelves that you can purchase for much less and just install multiples of.

I love make up storage and organization (despite my set up being pretty wonky) so I apologize for the huge essay!!

u/GrimmLock420 · 5 pointsr/Warhammer
u/Ursin_Brennus · 5 pointsr/minipainting

Nail polish organizers like this one or two or three.

u/1D13 · 5 pointsr/minipainting

I went on Amazon and searched "fingernail polish rack".

The one I bought was a wall mounted rack I put above my desk. It holds like 100 paints and I think I spent $20 on the rack. And if I needed to I could move the rack over on the wall and mount two side by side.

But when you search for nail polish racks on Amazon you'll get desk mounted and wall mounted results.

Edit: Link the one I have.

These are awesome! I've been using the GoToob bottles (I got them way cheaper than this listing [http://www.amazon.ca/HumanGear-GoToob-3-0-Ounce-3-pack-HG0187/dp/B002VS8H3G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1415331508&sr=8-1&keywords=gotube] at my local pharmacy, but they're leakproof and squeezable which works good for creams) for my mineral oil and BP cream, then carrying around my full bottles of BHA/AHA, moisturizer, and sunscreen. I don't know if your set up is best for me, but I'm trying to revamp a little and this is an awesome idea. (Keep em coming, if you've got em!)

You could get some smaller bottles like these and split them in half so you can keep some of all four scents.

u/mastiii · 4 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

Amazon sells airless pumps like this. I know that Skinactives sells various bottles as well. I think one of those might work, though I've never tried it.

u/Nekkosan · 4 pointsr/AsianBeauty

I prefer a pump. But you have to struggle at the last 1/4. I just refill. I am not a huge decanter. Mostly keep stuff in the orignal buttle. Not a lover of dropper bottles. Maybe you get further down the bottle without struggling with it vs a pump? Clearly not air proof, but not all pumps are. I just find them cumbersome. I would decant products out of dropper bottles, if it were easier to get the product out in one shot. The main thing I decant is my Scinic AIO, as it the jar is messy to work with. Also Holika aloe gel, as that cute aloe bottle is hard to control the amount comming out. Some of the bottles broke on me. I drop things. I decant some serums, because I think the antioxidants might last longer in a more opaque/airless bottle.

Bottles I like: These are good airless and opaque pumps. Here. Hard to tell when they are empty though or when you filled them. Looks like it might be clear, but the bottle is hard white plastic. But it keeps out air and light and keeps the ingredients fresh.

These are a bit easier to work with and small, so might be better for travel. Still dark to keep out most of the light but you can see the product. Air cleary gets in.

I am liking these misters, though clearly not for essences. They are a bit larger than I expected. They mist nicely. Again the blue keeps a fair amount of light out. Not to many toners I like to mist, but a few.

u/paninilincoln · 4 pointsr/AsianBeauty

I have these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01C3UMR46/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

They're white airless pump bottles, I use them for creams, lotions, toners, oils, sunscreens, actives, and even foundation. And since it's a pump, there's less risk of contamination as with using your fingers in a jar :D

u/chynnese · 4 pointsr/AustralianMakeup

I really like the black-handled Elf brushes, got a set of 10 brushes for around 11 USD but not sure if the set is available in Australia. :/ Someone else mentioned they go for around 8 AUD though.

If you have access to Amazon somehow, I bought the BH Mall brush set a few months back and absolutely love them. A YouTuber I follow also uploaded a video review of them today, oddly enough. She didn't like the angled brow brush but I absolutely adore it.

u/Jezzikuh · 3 pointsr/fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu

Buy one of these. It will improve your life.

u/giottoblue · 3 pointsr/TheGirlSurvivalGuide

I have and have always had these on my upper inner thighs. I've recently discovered that these wire blackhead thingies are really good at removing them.

Exfoliating helps, but at least for me has never fully fixed it.

u/wiseblueberry · 3 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

The flat side of a tool like this works well for me for removing actual blackheads. My skin is more prone to bruising/scarring if I use a bobby pin, but not everyone's skin is as sensitive as mine.

u/ArchDesign · 3 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

I think the best way to think about your theme is, just the things that make us feel pampered, loved, and beautiful. What gifts can you buy that could put self-love back into someone's life? Check out Amazon. I got a 12-piece set of e.l.f. brushes for about $12 with Prime.

u/KegelFairy · 3 pointsr/curlyhair

Really love Go Toob. They're really squishy so you can actually use up most of the stuff that's in there. We haven't had an issue with leaks but I don't use them for the really liquidy stuff (because we don't have enough!).

Bonus protip, if you need to fill a tube with something that comes in a jar, baby medicine syringes work amazingly well. Husband uses this with his hair cream with great success.

u/TheWildTofuHunter · 3 pointsr/popping

Can you keep mini disposable wash cloths (like baby wipes) or oil sheets (http://www.amazon.com/Clean-Clear-Oil-Absorbing-Sheets-Count/dp/B003V57Q5I/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1382829057&sr=8-2&keywords=Oil+sheets) on hand to wipe down your skin every hour or so? You might get oil buildup that bothers your skin which doesn't help if it stays on open pores for 5-6 hours.

u/aquajack6 · 3 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

oh I have the same issue. Ok, so my dad gave me those microfiber lens cleaners that are better than regular microfiber clothes or cotton, something like this Always keep something like that around.

Also, regularly using oil absorbing sheets helps. I like Clean & Clear's https://www.amazon.com/Clean-Clear-Absorbing-Sheets-Count/dp/B003V57Q5I

I also always keep napkins or tissues around to wipe off my eyebrows, often oily eyebrows are the culprit of oil getting on glasses. Anywhere hair is on the face, you will get more oil production-so making it a habit to wipe your eyebrows with a napkin or tissue will help

u/wicksa · 3 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

i am not really sure what you mean about the eyelid thing, maybe a picture would help?

i have never used costal scents, but ive seen a few girls here make some nice looks with it. no idea on the quality. i know you said ELF is too expensive, but this palette is only 10 pounds. i have it and i like it. they are pretty good quality for a cheaper eye shadow palette. if you can afford some eye primer, the colors will look even better. i use urban decay primer potion, but that sounds like its a little out of your budget, maybe someone can recommend a cheap one!

i have combination skin (oily and dry! ughhh) and I always use liquid foundation. Powder can make the dry spots look really flaky. Revlon Colorstay is a good drugstore brand, I like it, it has good coverage and staying power, and I hear a lot of people mention it on here.

[edit] i see you are a teen and have youthful skin. if you dont get many breakouts and dont have a lot of unevenness in your skin tone, you could probably get away with a tinted moisterizer or a BB cream instead of a full coverage foundation. i recently got a sample of loreals BB cream and I was a big fan!

i really like ecotools brushes. They are good quality and relatively cheap!

Good luck!

http://www.amazon.com/Pairs-Handmade-Natural-False-Eyelashes/dp/B006GKHIHQ/ref=pd_bia_nav_t_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=1ETSKR6PY14E61NH07E9

I can use a pair for up to 2 weeks if I'm careful/don't get drunk and ruin them. They are so natural looking no one ever suspects a thing ;) I usually have to cut the ends a bit cause they're too long for my eye length, plus it's more natural looking if they don't span across your entire eye from corner to corner. Let me know if you want me to post a picture of me wearing them or anything :)

u/newheart_restart · 3 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

They're actually cheaper than I remember! They're a little weird to get used to but actually really nice once you do. You can only wear them a couple times though. And I'd carry around a little extra glue since the thread thing that holds them together is pretty flimsy.

u/summerxskin · 3 pointsr/RandomActsofMakeup

I'm not entering but just wanted to give some recommendations because this is really sweet.

For brushes, Real Techniques makes some fabulous sets(you could perhaps get the eyes and core collection to get someone started), ELF Studio makes a nice set, and I have heard good things about this one.

For lipsticks, I'm a big fan of the Rimmel Kate Moss line and NYX Round Case lipsticks with Tea rose being one of my favorite colors. If you're interested in buying one non drugstore item, a MAC lipstick would be an amazing gift.

For the face trio, Sleek makes this amazing palette with a contour powder, highlighter, and blush. I also highly recommend their single blushers. Individual items I would recommend from the drugstore are the NYC Sunny bronzer or NYX Taupe, Wet n Wild Reserve Your Cabana highlighter or the Boots liquid illuminator, and NYX powder/cream blushes.

For shadows, I'm going to recommend Sleek again. They make fabulous 12 pan palettes called i-divine. Some favorites of mine are the Original, Au Natural, and Oh So Special.

Some other products I love that would be great for a beginner are the NYX milk pencil, Maybelline Color Tattoos, Covergirl Clump Crusher, Revlon lip butters, and an Asian bb cream(Missha, Skinfood, and Holika Holika make some good ones).

He's never gonna hear the end of this!

Okay, here's my answer. I go the oral route. I make a solution using propylene glycol (aka "PG").

My recipe for 4-ACO-DMT: .5g powder --> 4ml PG, combined in a small amber dropper bottle. Shake well until totally smooth. In my experience, 8 drops is a good starter dose. I just put the drops into a beverage and down it.

Obviously, you need a scale. You can get a decent one for under $20. One that is highly recommended the Gemini-20.

u/LaTortugaConQueso · 3 pointsr/SkincareAddiction

I do 1 part tea tree to 9 parts jojoba. I bought these and I usually mix like three bottles worth at once and it lasts a while. I use a syringe but I still haven't found one that easily pulls the oil because it's so thick.

u/Kimandmakeup · 3 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

My favorite is the #7 Anastasia too!! (aka 7b on Ulta) but I've heard the Ardell duo brow brush is a dupe.

I tried so many - from dollar store, from Amazon, never found any that delivers a nice, uniform mist!

The ones I tried on Amazon (and disappointing) were:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D7BJ6MW/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

My search is on for a good mist dispenser.

My Hylamide Spray is near over - so I am thinking of re-using it for Kikusamune!

Would love to see if anyone has suggestions for a good spray bottle that puts out even mist (like say Mac fix plus bottle)

Some folks recommend things like nail polish organizers.

I use a foam filled hardshell case from harbor freight for mod organization (I have too many mods) and a cheap plastic toolbox to organize atties (in the tool tray up top) and building supplies below. If you drill little holes for the 510s all your atties can stand up neatly in the tool tray.

u/turn0 · 3 pointsr/tabletopgamedesign

Pretty cool. A suggestion for your next iteration, sand down the pieces you are going to cast as you can see the grain of the wood.

If you need quick iterations without casting, you can also try the link below. With a quick spray paint job and gluing the magnets or washers inside you can make lots of them really fast for pretty cheap.

yeah like someone else said, i’m not super sure what look you were going for. personally, if ur just starting w makeup i’d just start w a bb cream as foundation (depending on what level of coverage u need), mascara, and a lip colour. unless ur in a transphobic or homophobic area, definitely don’t be afraid to go to a local drug store and ask whoever’s at the makeup counter for help finding a good foundation shade!! they’re usually really friendly. unlike another commenter, i wouldn’t recommend trying contouring. it’s really hard to get right, especially if ur inexperienced. eyebrows can be tricky too bc going too dark can be very masculinizing. in terms of eyeshadow and eyebrows, watching some youtube videos or, if you can afford it, getting just a half hour makeup lesson can be really helpful. you can look up the definitions cuz it’s hard to describe without pictures, but ultimately all you need is a transition shade for your crease, a shade to go on your eyelid, and a darker shade for your outer “crease” if you want to deepen the look. (a n eye primer can be very helpful for blending out your eyeshadow and getting the brightest colour. the last i’ll say is remember that the way ur face looks in the lighting of ur bedroom is not how it’ll look outside in the sunlight. i’d recommend doing ur makeup in the brightest light in ur home. finally, if the time comes that you want a full-ish brush set, i’ve heard this one is really good if ur on a budget. sorry if this is wayyyy too much. makeup can be intimidating at first, but youtube will be ur best friend for the first little bit. the most important thing is to practice. hope this could be of some help :). ultimately makeup is about having fun, feeling confident, and expressing yourself.

Actually just found this gem on Amazon too. A two-pack for only $2 more than the original with Best Seller and Prime status.

u/IT143 · 2 pointsr/RandomActsofMakeup

No I wish I got the $1 one rather than the Ulta one! The Ulta one was like a rubbery sponge! Just bruuuuutal!

I'll be honest when I say I have only been using the bb about a month. I bought the two pack for 20+ish? I have been using my normal brush cleaner on it and sort of rub it in, and squeeze it a few times, and so on. You can deff see makeup come out of it, but its still a bit stained. I plan on trying a few other ideas to give it a deeper cleanse. Since I bought the two pack, I haven't been too concerned with how long it lasts, since I have another on backup!

I actually use a $3 shave oil (Shave Secret) that I buy at WalMart, and it's the only thing that keeps me razor bump free. I will never go back. There's a couple of really nice shave oils out there, but none so cheap that work so well. I use the executive blade option (6 blades) from dollarshaveclub.com, which mails me four blades each month for $9.

My throat was a big issue until I discovered the Beauty Blender and using powder to set my concealer/foundation properly. Once you get rid of the razor bumps it's a lot easier to manage, too.

Apply lightly in layers. Use a huge, thick, fluffy powder brush. Then, take a spritz bottle on the lightest mist setting you can get and spray it up into the air maybe twice times. Look up into the mist and let it sprinkle on your face. That should get rid of some of the residue.

Here is a decent brush set.

I used to do stage makeup.

Edit: If you can, put the powder into a child's tight (You can get them at the dollar store) and tie it off. Hold it over one another's face and tap it so it dusts the face with powder. Use the brush to dab it into the appropriate places, don't swipe. Then mist.

u/Mishiiee · 2 pointsr/RandomActsofMakeup

As someone mentioned before, the ecotool brush set. Or you can always go with E.L.F.

Not sure with the lipsticks, as I'm still a beginner (and kind of makeup challenged myself) and I right now opt for lip balm or the couple lip stains I have.

As for eye shadow, you can always go with something like this for your neutrals. Or something by NYX (which can be found in some Targets) like this

As for other things to start with, you might want to figure out how her skin care routine is, and toss in a few things that she could use in that regard. It'll make the makeup look better :)

Some other tools that she might not have, like an eyelash curler (E.L.F. has one for $3), NYX Milk is a good base/primer for eyeshadows as well.

I did this on my last flight only I used travel shampoo bottles which are bigger and I filled them myself at home for even cheaper drinking. Something like this: http://www.amazon.com/Humangear-GoToob-Travel-Bottle-Blue/dp/B002VS8H3G/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1409244369&sr=8-4&keywords=travel+size+shampoo+bottles

I also bought a coke at the airport (past security) and just asked the flight attendant for a cup of ice and can of pop. (additional can = additional drinks!) I mixed it myself in plain sight on the plane (though the attendant wasn't around at the time) and no one said anything to me.

If I'm worried about TSA and all that mess, I have Gotoobs and I fill 3 with chamois cream. Otherwise it just makes more sense to carry the big 8oz tube for unlimited creamin' up. I consider it an acceptable weight penalty. But having universal travel bottles like gotoobs/etc is just a useful travel tool regardless.

But here's the hard truth about chamois cream: You can replace it with hotel body lotion in a pinch and not notice the difference. Last time this happened I rode 60 miles with oatmeal scented hotel lotion in my shorts. I've done this plenty of times when I've left home without my Butt'rs.

Makeup brushes because I am long overdue for a new set.

I think it would be the best thing to hear that dialogue between two pilots. I would do it if I was one. One would need an epic Chewy mimic, and the other would say "...I don't know, fly casual". Almost makes me want to be a pilot, just for this.

u/T4n6l3d · 2 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

Thanks! And I just realized when I read ecotool that I actually have ecotool brushes not RT. I have this set and this set

I'm guessing the one you use is this brush (says for bronzer) or [this brush] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N9BUU73/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_TqNuzbWE8SCZF). Do either look familiar?

u/tessie999 · 2 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

Hmmm well I'm in the UK but I can recommend stuff I like! I know some of the eyeshadow palettes I like can be found in Walmart/Target sometimes (from what I've read on here).

I got ecotools brushes as my first set and I really like them. The quality is pretty solid and they are cheap - I know MAC brushes are supposed to be the best if you want to start off with the big stuff. I don't use make up that often so it's not a biggie...

One thing to note though is that has a concealer brush - not a foundation one. If you want a foundation one on it's own you can get it in MAC. Fingers would be faster to get the hang of tough to stick to that if you like :) I think brushes are supposed to give more consistency but it's honestly whatever works for you!

You can get loads of really nice multi-coloured palettes here on the cheap by E.L.F.. I got [this palette from Coastal Scents!)[http://www.coastalscents.com/makeup/eyes/eye-palettes/pl-001.html)
I liked it but you need a primer for some of the matte (not sparkly/shiny shades - just the flat colour).

For high quality expensive eyeshadow you could again go to MAC or Sephora :) I'm not sure what budget you are looking at - I'm very much a cheapskate for these things so I go for a balance between price, quality and quantity.

SPEAKING OF PRIMERS....

I have this primer that is also a liner for your eyeshadow! In all honesty the liner didn't last that long...the tip got dirty kinda quick and I only really used it for black. For pretty colours with different eyeshadows I used a nude eye pencil and then my liner brush from ecotools. I'm not a big liner user but if you want to I'd say to just buy a separate liner.

Some people REALLY like the Urban Decay's Primer Potions which are bottom left here. I think you need to go to the stores listed though to buy it.

Honestly the best advice I can give is check the sidebar and post some B&As here - or just your plain face asking for tips. People here are really nice and helpful - they helped me out a lot! :3 Also the sidebar as some good brands with a range in budget from drugstore to the super high-end expensive stuff!

Just start small and work up. The only thing I went big on was the eyeshadows where I bought that 88 palette...but I think that's fair enough for when you are just starting out. Get a primer for the cheaper eyeshadows though since they are not that pigmented (not much colour)!

I'm sorry those were all UK links but when I try to access US versions they switch me over to the UK version...I'm sure there will be an online store with it though :3 Amazon could be your best friend!!

Good luck and happy makeuping :3

Hopefully these are the ones your coworker was wearing. I know they come in different styles, but you're probably going to have to look for it on amazon.

Depends on your personal taste, eyeshape, makeup style...
I like the Ardelle Wispies:

If you want to make your own cuticle oil for cheaper, pure jojoba or sweet almond oil are both excellent. I bought one ounce of jojoba and decanted some into a Amber glass bottle and use it daily, and I haven't even gone through half of it since winter started. If you want to be extra fancy you can add essential oils to make your own scents, or add in extras like vitamin E.

You could get some plastic pipettes to transfer small amounts of the oil. I use these for depositing scented oils in my oil diffuser so that I don't accidentally use too much.

Same here. Just thought it was easier to post a link to EZ Sweetz rather than a recipe.

That said, what strength do you use? I've been using a 1:4 ratio (splenda to water) so 1 drop = 1 packet.

My recipe: 7.8 grams of sucralose to 30ml (1 fl.oz.) water, and I keep it in dropper bottles in the fridge since I didn't add any preservatives.

u/twisted_dick · 2 pointsr/Vaping

Hey man, I would love to help you quit smoking and didn't notice the first time I commented that you didn't have any experience with vaping. So I'm going to try to put together a list here of what you need to do to start vaping for very little money.

  1. A mod. I am suggesting this mod because it is very simple and fairly cheap.

    https://www.vapordna.com/Joyetech-eGo-AIO-All-In-One-Starter-Kit-p/egoaio.htm

This is another option for you.

    https://www.vapordna.com/Eleaf-iCare-All-In-One-Ultra-Portable-System-p/icaref.htm

I love my Icare, but you will need to use high (24-36) mg ejuice with it, whereas with the ego you would need 12-24 mg/ml.

  2. Eliquid making basics.

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005UGBG20/ref=sxts1?ie=UTF8&qid=1488210602&sr=1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65

OPTIONAL: flavoring. If you want flavoring just ask in a reply I'll let you know what to get based on your tastes, but it's not necessary and you're trying to go cheap.

This is the recipe for making flavorless, 12 mg juice.

    http://e-liquid-recipes.com/recipe/1240996/For+cheapos

You can make an account at that site and adapt that recipe to be higher or lower nicotine if you want.

I know this seems a lot more expensive than the Ryo cigarettes, but trust me, this makes like a year or two worth of liquid and the mods I suggested have really cheap coils. Please believe me, this is worth every penny of the investment, you will never regret it. If you need help with mixing your first batch of eliquid, go to r/diy_ejuice and look at the new mixer thread in the sidebar. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask me, but comment it cause I don't get message notifications on my phone app.
u/Used_Taco · 2 pointsr/beards

I've also tried Burts Bees. I liked both but I think the honest Amish might've been cheaper.

As far as making your own oil, yes I just use dropper bottles like these . I just mix all the oils together in the bottle and shake, no need to let it sit. You do want to boil the bottles beforehand and let em dry to kill bacteria. Most essential oils have a spout thingy that makes it easy to count drops.

Edit: I also make my own beard shampoo.

This is the brush I use. However, I may be in the minority in what I like in an eyebrow brush. The bristles are not very stiff, but I love this as it's very easy to get short, feathery, natural strokes! If I'm going for a bolder brow, I use a small Sonia Kashuk angled liner brush from the anniversary set that was out over the summer - it looks pretty similar to a SK brush someone posted earlier!

Hey!

This bottle has the best fine mist I’ve tried. It’s continuous and even. I’ve tried a few other types of spray bottles but this one is A+.

It’s pretty large, but I think you can shop around on Amazon and find the same thing in a smaller mL amount.

u/loserfame · 2 pointsr/succulents

Suavecito here as well. I also wanted to add that I have the most success with blow drying first as opposed to putting product in with varying levels of wet hair. I then use this to put a light even misting of water then shape it.

Also as others have said the cut is extremely important. Don't know how true this is but my barber has always said that a doing a quality undercut is pretty difficult and the details will make or break it. In other words to OP, invest in a good barber. Your cut shouldn't be 100% dependent on product, it should be able to be presentable with zero product as well.

Also OP I poked around your post history and seems like you're in California (as I am) so it shouldn't be too difficult to find a good barber that has experience with Asian hair and doing an undercut since like 90% of young Asians have the same cut.

I’m sure it will come back sooner or later. Maybe in a slightly different style or color.

Meanwhile, if you search for ‘makeup brush set’ on Amazon, you will find tons of sets with near-5-star reviews for around $15, and some even under $10!

I have heard really good things about this set. - I own just the stubby kabuki from this set and it is excellent.

Here’s one with white bristles (also comes in purple!)

And there’s even a unicorn set .

So really - lots of choices out there. I would just read the reviews carefully. There’s even an app that can tell how how many of the Amazon reviews are fake. I forgot the name of the app, though.

Update: OK, it might be fakespot.com
I’d just heard about it online. I don’t know if this is the app I’d heard about.

(According to Fakespot, the first 2 sets have reliable reviews; the unicorn set does not).

I recommend these EmaxDesign brushes from Amazon. You get a variety of brushes for very little money. They are decent quality (in fact, I prefer some of them to their more expensive counterparts). That way you can get a sense of what kind of brush you like to use, and down the line you can upgrade just the type of brushes you actually use.

I've had decent success with Amazon brushes, and regularly reach for them. I've used and enjoyed these brushes, especially as a beginner set. They're very soft, no shedding, and pretty versatile.

I got a set of brushes awhile back that I really like from Amazon. I do all my application/blending with brushes too. I haven't had much luck with the sponge things.

I bought this one. Decent quality for the low price. The two kabuki brushes are my favorites for achieving an airbrushed finish (I prefer it to a BB, but that's just me).

u/cafea · 2 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

I just received my DragonPad 11 piece brush set order today for $11.94 (free shipping with prime). They are sooo soft, on par with more expensive brushes like MAC. The brush denseness is good for the price. The kabuki feels on a little thin, but the rest is adequate. I tried them out on my hand and they worked well! Applied eyeshadows and blended easily. I was also rough with them and no shedding so far. They did arrive with a smell, but I can only smell it when I sniff up close. I think this brush set is well worth the price!

They’re dense and haven’t lost any bristles and way softer than expected for cheap brushes from amazon.

After you have read up on this stuff, watched coil build videos, learned ohm's law, etc. I have some gear reccomendations.

Sigelei 100W+ box. The plus version is what I have. Dual batteries in series (that means it has an input voltage of 8.4V) and output from 10-100W. Floating pin (meaning you don't have to adjust it for different sized atomizers). It also comes with a silicon sleeve if you are butterfingers like me. That should run about $100 from most retailers, give or take $10. If you're handy and have some time, you can build your own box mod using a few different chips (DNA30/40, Yihi SX350, etc).

That brings up my second piece, batteries. DO NOT skimp on batteries, you need good ones. You need 2 18650 batteries that you keep together and only use in this mod. Switch the positions of them each charge. I recommend Samsung 25r batteries. High continuous amp limit (if you exceed it then the battery might fail), but they aren't really pushed up that far on a Sig 100W. That is more important with a mechanical mod. You also need a charger, the Nitecore D2 is a great one.

Then for an RDA (rebuildable dripping atomizer) I suggest a CLT V2+ like others here. It won't break the bank (about $35, or $12 clone from fasttech.com). Easy deck to build on because of the block centerpost. Good airflow, and you can restrict it as much as you need. You can also get an RTA (rebuildable tank atomizer) like a kayfun, fogger, or orchid. I have had bad experiences with these, mostly because I fucked up when building. That pretty much ends up with the full tank of juice emptying in your lap. But it can be done. I prefer RDAs for simplicity and the ability to change flavors if I don't want a whole tank.

You also need wick and wire. A-1 Kanthal is what most of us use. Its cheap, and 28 or 26 gauge is a good starting size. Higher gauge means smaller wire and higher resistance. For wick, I use rayon and japanese cotton. Any of these will last you a long time.

You don't need a resistance tester if you get a sig 100W, but it will be more precise than the box. You also need something to cut cotton (it is way harder than it sounds) like tiny scissors and something to snip wires like small flush cutters. Tweezers to squeeze those coils and make them look nice and purty are also nice to have. A small screwdriver set is perfect for wrapping coils. "Coil Jigs" are overpriced and necessary.

I would buy all the stuff I linked through Amazon, its cheaper there than most vape websites. For batteries and chargers, use Illumn or Lightning Vapes. Wire, resistance testers, and tweezers are also fairly priced at Lightning Vapes. There are a few places to get the Sigelei 100W+ and the CLT v2+. Fasttech is amazing and I love China. This site carries cheap clones of other devices. Good place to get RDAs if you are willing to wait for shipping and read the reviews/discussions. There are so many things I would never purchase because they are out of my budget that Fasttech made available.

I will say on the cleanser (because I am sort of cheap) I use the Dr.Bronner's Magic Castile soap in lavender (I bought the bar form) but they have liquid from Target and it cleans my BB perfectly. Also Amazon has a two pack for [24.99] (http://www.amazon.com/Beautyblender-Ultimate-MakeUp-Applicator-sponges/dp/B000I5HJ2Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1417464731&sr=8-1&keywords=beauty+blender)

Edit words... also my reasoning on the Castile soap is the fact it is way more than you will get with the name brand beauty blender version.

Thanks for the response! For brushes do you think just ordering something like this or this would be good? I have no idea what half of them are for but ~$1 per brush (+case on the one) seems like a pretty good deal. Like it looks like the case one has one of those little angle brushes which I think I've seen used with eyeliner goop stuff I think but the other doesn't. And for eye shadow do you think just getting a giant thing like this would be smart? It seems cheap and there are so many colors so I'd have no problem figuring out which ones I like hahaha.

u/heyheynikki · 1 pointr/RandomActsofMakeup

Heya, welcome to RAoM!! I hope you enjoy it here :D Also, happy birthday c:

I'd definitely recommend picking up the NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk -- it's a great base that really makes colors pop! It's also really creamy, so it blends out easily.

I also love my Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains. I have Rendezvous (a very orange-y coral) and Lovestick (bright pink), which are perfect for summer. I also have Romantic (pretty true red) and my sister has Crush (a darker plum), which are great for fall. These are really easy to wear because they feel just like lip balms, but they're also very nicely pigmented.

If you want to play around with a lot more colors, I would say go for the Coastal Scents 88 Original Palette -- I use at least one color from this every time I do my make-up! It's not too pricey, but it gives you a lot to experiment with :)

I think it would be a pretty great time to pick up some brushes. Since you're just starting out, I'd probably go with ELF brushes because they're super cheap. Here are a few of my favorites (although I'd recommend looking in store at Target, because the white brushes are only $1 and the black ones are usually only $3; they might be cheaper on the ELF website too):

Eyeshadow Brush -- great for packing on the color
Blending Brush -- because everyone could use a nice blender!
Contouring Brush -- really great for applying color in the crease
12 Piece Set -- I don't actually own all these brushes, but it looks like a great set to start with, especially for only $12!

As for something I'd like...well, I'm currently obsessing over this lipstick in Black Cherry, because it is the PERFECT color for fall, and I don't have any other dark lip colors :3

Oh yea, and Summer Fun !

Hot dogs or Kielbasa - dehydrate by cooking slow at low temp in the oven.

Cheese - cut into small pieces

Squeeze tubes filled with mashed liverwurst (add little bit of water at a time until it is smooth enough to go through the hole), whipped cream cheese or peanut butter.

Happy Howies is another good brand for a meat roll. They make beef, lamb, and I think turkey. Get yourself a vidalia onion chopper and use it to cut them into small pieces about the size of a pea.

u/throwawayfortulip · 1 pointr/reactivedogs

Good for you and your pup! I'm so glad to hear that's working. We're struggling with much the same issue (with our adult dog) and we've used similar tactics with some good successes.

If you find the deli meat ever loses its charm, don't be afraid to switch it up with new, stinkier treats. We hit a plateau with our dog that seems to be scalable with some new, even smellier treats (just wrote about that here actually!).

You can also use squeeze tubes with cream cheese in them, if yours--like ours--doesn't always have the gentlest mouth when stressed. We use these and it helps us give a good steady supply of treats when passing stimuli that take a minute to go away (e.g. clanging trucks going down the street), while keeping our hands relatively clean.

Everyday Minerals. I swear by them. Been using it for years and my makeup looks so sheer and natural, yet I can cover any flaws I need to. It just melts into my skin. And they have free samples (well you pay shipping, a couple bucks) and can try a bunch of foundation shades before committing to a full size. I don't know what your skintone is, but their concealers are also fantastic if you have the right brush...

Which leads me to coastal scents. If they still have a brush called the 'mini detail' buy that right now. As someone who has dealt with cystic acne and regular acne..its the best thing ever. A teeny tiny brush that will dab on foundation/concealer (liquid, cream, mineral, whatever you end up using) with precision on top of blemishes. Its amazing and works better than anything else. You need to be able to blend and dab product right on that spot without getting it everywhere around it. As for blush and thicker brushes...I still recommend EcoTools. Try to find one of their travel sets with the half size brushes, they have the best blush brushes that work with mineral makeup, blush, bronzer, highlighter...I bought a couple packs and use that mini blush brush for everything. its fluffy and not stiff and seems to pick up the exact right amount of powder on every product.

The mini kabuki set is indeed special--it's "limited edition" but has been sold for forever so idk what's up with the LE designation. Anyway. Can't get it in stores, at least in my experience, amazon has it for 10 USD

Even the designs are supposedly special.

The handles are aluminum and have a certain weight to them, which takes away the "cheap" feeling, and all brushes are sufficiently dense and fluffy (especially the concealer brush, which is the magic finger I referred to). If you choose to get them, I hope you'll like them :)

I bought a 6 pack of amber colored, glass bottles off amazon. Only 6 bucks. These come with eye droppers, but they have no markings on them. I bought one seperately, also from amazon.

To mix them, I buy vodka from a liquor store. You can use water, but do NOT use tap water as it has chlorine that will immediately destroy LSD. I've also read that water degrades LSD more over time than alcohol, hence my choice. I use the dropper to measure out how much solution I want to use to put into the container, along with however many tabs I want to put in with it. Let it sit for a few days (swirl contents now and again) and voila.

I use this Ardell brush with an angled brush end and a spoolie and it works great!

u/jaburke · 1 pointr/MakeupAddiction

I have two angled brushes: The one I have amongst my other eye brushes is from Sephora that I got in this set though of course you can buy it individually. It's a good angle brush but I dedicate it solely to eyeshadow. The one I actually use for my brows is the Ardell Duo Brow Brush. The angle brush on this one probably isn't as firm as my Sephora brush but for the price it gets the job done. I bought it because of the price, particularly because it has the spoolie end and I was too cheap to buy the Anastasia version of this brush for $18 lol

drama llama!

These if you have Prime, this if you don't.

Thanks for the contest!

u/ottiecat · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

I've been using this from Amazon for ages, I really need to upgrade to that, it's not stiff or big enough. I need to get better at grooming my brows on time, I swear they turn into a jungle as soon as I get them threaded.

u/roseatesg · 1 pointr/RandomActsofMakeup

I think Ebony should work fine! I use the Ardell Duo Brow Brush to apply.

The steps are pretty easy but it takes practise to get the shape you like!

I spoolie my brows first to get them to go in one direction, then I draw the outline (shape) of the brow that I want.

I'll fill in from the back of the brow inwards so the inner of my brow won't be as harsh as the outer :-) Something like this! Haha I'm still far from an expert for my brows - but currently I like how it looks.

Congrats!! I might be too late, but I'd love this if I'm not! :) you're so sweet to share

Edit: I realized that's an add-on item, so here's one with shipping included.

I haven't tried it, but maybe something like this?

I'm so glad I asked – that continuous bottle sounds like a dream! I just ordered one with a white top. Thank you. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D7BJ6MW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

u/pretzel_lover · 1 pointr/CrestedGecko

The white is just pee and it usually dries into a solid powder. I agree that your temperature is too high. You also need to be careful about too much humidity because this can lead to a respiratory infection and/or bacterial infections on the skin. Your current cage should retain a lot of humidity and if you add the Eco Earth that will also hold humidity. Because this cage has little ventilation you should uncover the top screen. The daytime humidity should be between 40-60% and 80-100% for a few hours after you mist, which should allow your cage to dry out. I use this spray bottle because it is more of a mister and my crestie doesn't seem bothered by it. It's also super easy to use. Also, I can't see if your crestie is sleeping upside down or not, but if so you might want to consider breaking the habit or be okay with the potential of floppy tail syndrome.

Yeah I mix by weight, I can usually knock a few out really quickly if I already have all the flavors set aside. I just need something better than a big box to store all the flavors in. Are you talking about something like this? https://www.amazon.com/Multi-Level-Premium-Quality-Organizer-Collection/dp/B00FPOOJL2

u/frankiecat_ · 1 pointr/RandomActsOfPolish

I'm not sure about over there, but you can get some clear acrylic dividers from the cheap shops here. Pretty sure you can get them from Amazon. Like this but it's one single flat plate. I hope that makes sense lol.

u/Synlight · 1 pointr/Makeup

Oops I was wrong, mine aren't EcoTools, although I do have a couple of those and I like them.

Here is the set I got. They work really well, don't shed, and you get a lot of brushes for the money.

I bought this set from Amazon (from other sellers, it's under $10 but shipping takes longer). They're really soft and pretty good quality!

u/penneforyourthoughts · 1 pointr/MakeupAddictionCanada

I bought this brush set from Amazon after hearing the youtuber Thataylaa talk about it, and I like it. I have also slowly added individual Elf and Real Techniques which you can find at Rexall among other places when I feel like there's a gap in my collection. I love my Elf and Real Techniques brushes, so if you want to start out by making a little list of what types of products you need brushes to apply, then going to somewhere like Rexall and looking through their sets and individual brushes to fill your needs, that would be a good way to start.

u/imjustheretobehere · 1 pointr/MakeupAddiction

I use the fourth brush from the left in this set for my all-over base shadow and light brown crease because it's nice and fluffy. I use this brush for the darker brown in my crease because it's denser and more precise. If it feels too harsh, I'll go back with a light brown color on my fluffy brush to blend it out. And this has been my go to for packing eyeshadow on the lid. It's small enough for my lid and does a great job.

u/please_leave_soon · 1 pointr/MakeupAddiction

Yes! I have these amazon brushes and they are amazing. Way softer than my sonia kashuk ones and the blush brush is about as soft as my ecotools one if not softer. I seriously recommend them.

I have these jars for samples. They're a pretty good size for something like foundation.

u/tldnradhd · 1 pointr/ploompax

Have a stoned grinding session every few days. You can store a couple ovens worth in lip balm containers. Edit: item description has the words "high" and "pot." We know what they're for.

u/ThirteenDream · 1 pointr/Indiemakeupandmore

On Amazon, the 5 gram jars are usually slightly cheaper than the 3 gram jars.
adon Prime
I also bought the bead container ones, but those jars wear really big. I don't use them for eyeshadow.

u/arbarnes · 1 pointr/Wet_Shavers

Yeah, I was on a box pass where somebody clearly confused the Muhle and Van der Hagen logos. (Hey, they've both got windmills!) Then again, it was interesting to see in person just how poorly the VdH badger brush is made.

What about just shipping the stuff in full-size jars and letting people take samples themselves? The main problem then is portion control. Including 5g containers would tend to limit people to that amount, but they get bulky pretty quick.

Maybe you could start with, say, 50 jars and ask people to drop a buck in the box for each 5 jars they take? Then when the jars run out the next person can take the money and order another 50 from Amazon.

u/theaxolotlgod · 1 pointr/Indiemakeupandmore

I've had a great experience with these jars!

The last two on the right are empty at the moment until my winter routine starts. I'm planning on putting Hl premium and tcfs sleeping pack in them. My vitamin c is also in the fridge.

For the specific bottles:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01C3UMR46/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_c_api_RiAUzbZ3YS01K

I've used this for about a year and a half and they! seem to be doing well. One caveat is that I can't put my cleansing oil in them because they'll leak through the seams. Other than that though I've used both creams and liquids in them and they work great! No spills and easy to travel with!!

u/RandomCB · 1 pointr/SkincareAddiction

I got the pump bottles and sunscreen on Amazon. https://amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01C3UMR46

u/kmillieee · 1 pointr/MakeupAddiction

And brushes I honestly just bought a cheap set on Amazon and they seem fine haha, but I have some Sephora brand brushes that I like a lot better. This is basically the brush set I bought. Not very nice but it does the job. The one I got has more eyeshadow brushes though.

Lots of battlestations have the laser cut MDF paint racks that look like stadium tiers. A quick google turned up this nail polish rack on walmart's site. I've got a desk facing the wall so I use one like these but made from aluminium scraps from where I was working.

edit: Before I got the racks I used to keep all my paints in one of these drawer stacks. It worked great while I only used GW paints.

u/Xavir1 · 1 pointr/minipainting

Thanks! They work really well. If anyone is interested I got these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M0JT8J8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_lom3CbQ12ESTE

u/Route66_LANparty · 1 pointr/Warhammer

My partner and I finally bit the bullet and got enough wall mount racks for our (non-air) GW paints. (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M0JT8J8/)

We've got them organized into:

  • Rack for 3rd party and GW Texture basing.
  • Rack for Bases and Metallics.
  • Rack for Layers and Edges.
  • Rack for Contrast, Shades, and Drys.
  • Desk rack with GW and Vallejo Air paints in another room.

We went back and forth on mixing the bases and drys in with the layers and edges so all the colors would be next to each other. Giving a better idea of the gradients and hues between types. In the end we separated them out by type.

Thanks. I didn't feel like making it so I just bought it online. The shelf is normally used for nail polish bottles and can hold 102 bottles. Here is a link to the exact shelf: 102 Bottle Acrylic Shelf

This is the one I ordered. Looks pretty similar to this one. I figure I’ll rig a curtain or something over it to keep too much light from discoloring my polish.

It looks like it is under review for packaging reasons, but you can find similar ones up there, and it is awesome and affordable
