Naw. The purchased one is cheaper and it's made of TPU so it's soft and flexible.
I printed on in PLA and was always worried that it would scratch something.
Plus I have to say that there are better stands - the watch sometimes doesn't connect with the magnet.
This Spigen stand gives a much more reliable connection to the charger and it's only $8.
Edit: I'll keep adding things as I remember them. I'm not adding the usual stuff like laptops, ipads, gym gear, etc, because those seem...common sense?

How does this happen?
Trendy:
"upcycled a Huawei watch box as an Apple watch charger".
Fancy:
"repurposed a Huawei watch box as an Apple watch charger"
Plain old English:
"used a Huawei watch box as an Apple watch charger"
Regardless, I think it looks pretty cool, although I'm too lazy to deal with that everyday. I just slap my watch on a $10 Apple Watch charging stand for 30 min a day and call it done.
It's on Amazon for $499 but its currently unavailable.
I should probably know based of what you are saying, but I don't really. So when I have the following Powerbank and I bought a USB-C Cable i shouldn't charge my Switch with it? Or would it be fine?
https://www.amazon.de/Anker-PowerCore-20100mAh-Externer-Akku/dp/B00VJT3IUA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1487952704&sr=8-1&keywords=anker+powerbank+20100&language=en_GB
Edit: Now that I'm taking a closer look at the Cable I was going to order I don't even know if that fits to my powerbank.

Can anybody help a brother out? :'D
This Spigen Apple Watch stand is great. Simple, minimal, and cheap. Gets the job done. People have complained about the tape on the bottom of it, but I just left the plastic on and don't have a problem with it sliding around on my wooden table.
Then you should see the 120k mAh Anker PowerHouse.
Be careful not so much for the snow while driving, but the ice. Especially the ice that forms at intersections -after- the snow plows have come through. Seems like they put a Zamboni like shine to the intersections. AWD and ABS won't really help you to stop. So approach intersections slowly.
About your AWD. I don't think you'll need true "snow tires", but check that you have all-season tires.
If heavy snow is forecast, top off your gasoline and your cell phone battery. Kinda like the folks saying to bring extra gloves and such in your car, wouldn't hurt to get a small portable USB charger, like one of these https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerCore-Ultra-Compact-High-Speed-Technology/dp/B01CU1EC6Y
[Not an endorsement. Just that or something like that]
If your phone uses Type C, I've had this one for over a year now.
This is stupid and wasteful. For something around that price, I'd recommend this reusable charger: https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerCore-Ultra-Compact-High-Speed-Technology/dp/B01CU1EC6Y/
It says that each of the chargers in the 15$ 3-pack of Jolt Emergency chargers will take your phone up to 20% battery power. This is a total of 60% if you use all three. The 16$ Anker battery, on the other hand, can store 5000 mAh. Assuming 80% efficiency, this will charge an iPhone X to 100% and still have enough left over to charge it once more to 50%. Also it's reusable. I use their 9000 mAh and am surprised how many months it holds the charge. Other brands are probably good too, but I've heard good stuff about Anker.
Yup. I use this one and it’s great. Sticks on the nightstand well and allows for night mode. Plus it’s under $8.

I have this 30000mah Aukey and it's amazing, charges really quick.
Anker FTW

Remember folks, the battery is literally the stomach of your moeblob. Battery stress will be directly voiced as stomach problems, so avoid stressing your moeblob with deep charge cycles and rapid charging; carelessly crashing below 30% is just really rude anyway. Make sure she's relaxed and cool before and during charging. If she's a brainy one, ensure she's not overthinking anything as that alone will heat her up.
Use a high-quality charger and/or cable with a good powerline filter/power surge protector. I like to use ones from Anker. If you have to feed her on the go, I recommend this right here. This will provide her with tons of clean, tasty power.
When it comes time to replace her battery, ensure you can get a replacement from her manufacturer, or an OE equivalent from a reputable company such as LG, Panasonic, Sanyo, or Duracell. You might also want to look into Li-Fe batteries as the lithium-iron phosphate chemical is a lot more stable and has 4x the number of charge cycles. Unfortunately, the Li-Fe batteries aren't as compact and don't have the same voltage as Li-On batteries, so I can only run these in my two larger moeblobs that can compensate for the voltage. They tell me all sorts of good things though, especially that they aren't exhausted and as ravenously hungry, even when being feisty at 20%.
I hope I helped someone. All of these tips will prevent your precious moeblob from being BURNED ALIVE IN A MOLTEN BALL OF LITHIUM ION FIRE

I use a CD phone mount, that's the sturdiest one I've used. Obviously you need a CD player, and don't have reason to use the CD player, and then it works great. I have a iPhone 7 Plus in an Otterbox case and it fits just fine.
https://www.amazon.com/Koomus-CD-Air-Smartphone-Android-Devices/dp/B00HRKI5V2
I have a magnetic mount that fits into my CD player. You can't use the CD player anymore or even leave a disc in it, but who cares?

Nothing exists that fits all your qualifications. You're not gonna get that many ports, with that much power, in a small package.
My current setup is an Anker 5 Port with PD and shorter C7 cord. I charge my 2017 Macbook Pro 15, iPhone, and Pixel phone just fine.
My old setup was a Pixel 45W charger, and an Aukey dual-port. I consider this setup more compact overall, but I preferred having a cord to plug into outlets, instead of directly hanging the charger off the wall. If an outlet is wonky and can't support the weight (airplane outlets, I'm looking at you...) it sucks.
I use the Anker charger https://www.amazon.com/Charger-Anker-Premium-Desktop-Delivery/dp/B072K5ZJXF/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=anker+usb-c+charger&qid=1556286951&s=gateway&sr=8-5

But I would now purchase the updated Powerport PD4
https://www.anker.com/products/variant/powerport-atom-pd-4/A2041121

It takes a double barrel (C7) plug/cable, so I just ordered C7 power plugs for the countries I needed
https://www.amazon.com/SF-Cable-adapter-60320-C7-receptacle/dp/B004OHHKSU/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=IEC+60320-C7&qid=1556287077&s=gateway&sr=8-3

Upside is I have the choice of bringing the cable or the plug (or both).
That's not the point.
The point is that both last years and the new gen of iphones support fast charging. You need a different lighting cable as well as base mount in order to do it (the normal iphone charger is a 5watt charger, fast-charging is using something like this 42 watt charger)
So yes you can totally still use all your old iphone and ipad charging stations and cables. The problem is you're not going to be able to take advantage of the much faster charging speeds.
Think of it like filling a tank with water. The current iphones all fill up with a pipe that's 1 inch around. It takes a while but it gets the job done. The two latest generation have a opening that is 5 inches around so if you are using a bigger pipe, you can fill it up much much faster. You can of course still use the old 1 inch tubes but it's not taking advantage of the fact that your new one can accept a much faster stream of water to fill it up.
Does that help?
If it's your first TT and you're just getting started, /r/vinyl recommends this one. I've been happy with mine, although I do plan to upgrade in the future. If your budget is a little higher, I've heard good things about this one.
The one I plan on eventually getting is this guy.
This RAM mount works amazing on my motorcycle and is extremely secure
Not sure what exact model he is using but the RAM X-Grip Mounts are pretty popular and work very well.
Thanks! If you're curious, this is my phone case, which comes with a template so you can customize it!
I use one of these - it's nothing amazing but it looks nice and works really well for night mode: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Apple-Spigen%C2%AE-Charging-Premium-cradle/dp/B0109I9W24
Honestly, I don’t think it’s really necessary. For charging, I use this portable charger to keep my phone and my boyfriend’s phone charged all four days. There’s a phone charging station in maplewoods if it runs out of juice so you have a backup option.
For lights, I just use these solar powered lights and they work great! Then I use a battery powered lantern for the camping table, another in the tent, and that’s more than enough light to be able to find everything in the dark. I also have a few solar stakes from the dollar tree that I put next to the tent lines so no one trips over the lines or stakes.
As for the speakers, I really don’t think that you need anything more than a small portable Bluetooth speaker anyway which doesn’t require much power and can just be charged at the phone charging station if necessary. I stayed in maplewoods last year and I loved how quiet and relaxing it was (my sis calls it the “retirement home of electric forest lol). I kinda think of it as the unofficial quiet camping option. If you’re looking to party after hours, the RV camp is like a two minute walk away. Of course, if you wanna have a big speaker setup, I’m sure no one will stop you, but maplewoods seems like the wrong campground to have it in bc not many people can get in, it’s generally super chill (I don’t remember anyone playing loud music after hours last year), and, again, the RV parties are right next door.
Happy (early) forest! You’ll love maplewoods, it’s honestly so great!
It would work like an external hard drive. For instance, you put a movie file on this "external drive" and when it is hooked up to the tablet, you can watch the movie on the tablet. If the "external drive" is disconnected, you will not be able to play that movie, but the tablet would function normally.
You would need an OTG USB cable and some type of USB storage device (this could be a usb drive, an sd card with sd card reader, etc...)
Only 64GB? Haha, you pleb.
This + This + These + Stickmount
Seriously though, walking around with a cable dangling from the device is not ideal.
First I completely agree with you on all the points you have brought up.
A couple of chargers that have worked for me are Anker and the one liked below, there are a few Anker ones linked on the Amazon page in the same.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00LJT2EPK/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Spigen S350 Designed for Apple Watch Stand with Night Stand Mode for Series 4 / Series 3 / Series 2 / Series 1 / 44mm / 42mm / 40mm / 38mm, Patent Pending - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0109I9W24/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Qw85BbMG4EKY7
Powerline+ are the best. I absolutely recommend them.
I usually get the USB 3.0 version, not entirely sure if it will make a difference for charging speeds.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LNAAEJ2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_-y10BbV7PTMS9
A regular USB-C power bank at 15W won't keep up with a lot of use cases of the laptop. It'll charge the laptop while asleep. Otherwise it'll hold the line or slow down battery drain more often than charge while you use.
No power bank currently on the market will match the power needs a 15-inch laptop with a 90W power adapter has. The upcoming HyperJuice will, as it outputs up to 100W. But it is not released, expensive, and untested by third parties so I wouldn't rush into that.
Your best option right now is a 45W output power bank. They work well with 13-inch laptops, charging while in use. They are still 15W shy of ideal for a 15-inch laptop, but better than any other option. They'll charge while in use under more conditions, but not all conditions. They'll charge fast enough when the laptop is asleep.
I would recommend looking at two specific power banks:
dodocool 20100 45W Type-C PD
ZMI QB820
For efficiency try one of two charge approaches and see which works better for you.
Basically any QC 3.0 pack is supposed to work, did you get one that has a green qc3.0 port?
This one works fine for me and I already had it on hand. (for some reason the port that supplies QC on this one is the orange one).
This smaller Anker one is supposedly a drop in replacement for the stock one.The QC port here is blue so I have no idea what the color standard really is now.
I always buy Anker stuff as the quality is great. I have two of these (I'm in the UK)
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Powerline-Durability-Including-ChromeBook/dp/B01GN0M6NE/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1493625562&sr=1-4&keywords=anker+usb+3.0+cable
Anker makes the best cables I currently use this with my Pixel XL in my 2016 civic. Also the 1.5 is just the charge it puts out, it doesn't affect anything else. If you buy this cable and it doesn't work, it's most likely a setting on your phone that's messing with something.
Just wondering, is this cable going to be okay? I can't find the omh resistance on the specs.
https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B01GN0M6NE/
edit: nevermind, found this FAQ in the website, it should be okay then.
> Are your cables equipped with 56K Ohm resistors?
> Only USB-C to USB-A cables and USB-C to Micro USB adapters are equipped with 56K Ohm resistors.
I'm glad you asked, I'm still trying to figure out my battery pack and wall charger for the AZT/PCT this year so I'll be watching for responses. Right now I'm leaning toward the Anker Powerport Speed II and Anker Powercore II 10K If anyone is aware of a 10k battery pack with power delivery let me know! So far the only PD packs I've found are massive 20k+
Any USB-C cable should work, from a reputable brand. Bricking systems might be because of a faulty USB-C cable. Long story short, those faulty ones may give the device too much power -> bricking it. A good brand I know is Anker, a great US brand for powerbanks and cables, quality products. They offer USB-C cables (USB-C to USB-B (IIRC, not that technical myself) so you can plug it in a USB to Power Outlet adapter.
Edit: Found a good 1,8 metres one: https://www.amazon.de/Anker-PowerLine-lebenslange-Ladekabel-Inklusive-Rot/dp/B01LNAAEJ2/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1509878592&sr=8-4&keywords=USB-C+Anker The colour fits the Switch's logo coincidentially, haha.
If you're from Europe, try checking on Amazon. And if you're in the EU, you could try importing from Amazon. I did it myself, as the Netherlands got none, but we get free shipping at 29€, even though it's from Germany. :)
The LG v30 uses standard USB-C. There is no special adapter needed specific to LG.
You need to decide:
I personally went with fast wireless charging and could not be happier. If that is something you're interested in you need to make sure you're using a 15w power adapter and a charging mat/stand that support it.
This is a popular adapter:

Kenu Airframe
It rotates 360 degress at 45 degree increments, nice soft rubber that has great grip, has a nice little squeeze/tension to hold the phone.
Slides right onto the AC vents, I decided to go for the middle left vent but the far left vent would be a nice location as well.
I like this as it stays out of the way of my field of view and looks clean, no suction cup non-sense unless you like those types.

I’ve used this for years. Works fantastic. I use this one which goes into the CD player (which I do not use anyways): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016GNYZIC/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It is magnetic so if you are trying to quickly grab your phone and slap it back into place that can be done as if it is not even mounted. It works very well imo
Anker PowerCore 5000, Ultra-Compact 5000mAh External Battery with Fast-Charging Technology, Power Bank for iPhone, iPad, Samsung Galaxy and more https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CU1EC6Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_hq4sybRVDT38T
Poor plan, the budget, that is. The orbit actually is a decent turntable and actually will produce a decent signal, so having it choke on $70 worth of junk will not give you your money's worth. I'd go for their preamp, or this one if you wanna keep it down. As for a headphone amp, if you're willing to try something different, go for this little bastard. Sounds great and will drive bigger badder headphones down the road.
There's no point in buying the 16GB:
$199 8GB Nexus 7 + $1.39 USB OTG Cable + $39.99 64GB Flash Drive + Stickmount = $240.38 for a 72GB Nexus 7 vs $250 for a 16GB Nexus 7
See the various threads about how stickmount was updated yesterday for JB + Nexus 7 and works almost perfectly.
$1.39 USB OTG Cable: http://www.amazon.com/T-Flash-Adapter-Samsung-GT-i9100-GT-N7000/dp/B005FUNYSA
64GB Flash Drive: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220674
Not to mention that this makes copying media from a computer much easier (remove flash drive, plug into computer)
Ram mount x-grip
... Amazon?
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00FJJ38HY/
I printed it on Semi-Gloss photo paper, then cut out INSIDE the black lines (remove the black lines completely) with an x-acto knife. You don't have to be SUPER accurate, but you do need to make clean cuts, so use a fresh blade.
Then you just drop it into a Spiegen Ultra Hybrid case (did I mention that you needed a case with a clear back???)
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FJJ38HY/
This is a bit difficult question, because different people have different preferences and use different phones.
Some people don't like to block their vents, I live in Southern California, where if I used regular dash, it would shorten life of my phone battery due to the very high heat that accumulates there.
So in my case blocking the vent is intentional, so the AC can keep the phone cool. So far this mount works best for me: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06WVT3QJB
It can be mounted on the center console and I use phone mounted horizontally through help of an USB-C angled connector: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZYL2ZTL
That seems to work well for me: minimal sun glare, horizontal position makes phone (HTC 10) content visible through polarized glasses. Doesn't obstruct anything important 2015 Prius IV (it sits on the mechanical CD door, but the way the console opens doesn't cause issues with it.)
Some things that didn't work for me:
Initially I also used ExoGear Car Mount: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G2U1O8E but stopped due to phone getting hot (might start using again in the winter)
Then I used Kenu Airframe+: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LU5LWQK
That fit on my left vent, kept my phone cool, and in vertical position (worked better with my M8 (no problem with polarized glasses)) although that location overall is not that good (you have to look to the side if you want to check map and there is often a sun glare there)
So, I'm the most happy with my current mount.
Hands down the very best:
Spigen S350 Apple Watch Stand with Night Stand Mode for Apple Watch Series 1 / Series 2 / 42mm / 38mm - Patent Pending https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0109I9W24/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_EZEwyb0V1C2ZB
i have this . Slightly expensive in my opinion but good quality.
Works well for me in my Hyundai. you have to stick the magnetic plate, either directly on the phone or inside of your case. The magnet is strong and phone sticks even on bumpy roads.
One of the major advantage of this is it gives me access to the power and volume buttons.
Magnetic cell phone mount, I believe.
Yeah, that is really lame of them - thanks for the heads up.
I decided to give this one a try as I'm not about to give up my fast charging.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016GNYZIC/
This is the mount if anyone is interested. I tried a few different suction cups/air vent mounts and none really worked as I wanted.
The magnets are strong, and the phone doesn't move/jitter around whilst driving.
I’ve got an Anker brand portable charger as well & it has worked really well for me too.
It will work just fine as long as you have a wall adapter/laptop/outlet that you can plug a USB cable into.
My team brought a small USB Battery Charger. Kept our phone at full power each day (9 am to ~Midnight) of the con. We had a 3200mAh 5V/2A, which I could not find online. So here are two I would recommend:
Anker PowerCore+ mini, 3350mAh, 5V/1A (this is a slower charge), small form-factor.
Anker PowerCore 5000, 5000mAh, 5V/2A (like the one I have), bigger than the mini, close to pop can height.
^ This.
Plus they're inexpensive, lightweight and add hours to unplugged usage.
Of course they're worth it.
I use an Anker, too. It's only 20 beans and worth every pfennig.

That way when you have access to power you can make the most of it/take it with you.
If this isn’t the case then OP, please check out r/personalfinance
Maybe, but I would recommend the Anker anyway. I trust them not to burst into flames when placed under a continuous load. Anker does have a different model with the plug rotated 90 degrees that might fit your outlet better, but it is also more than twice the cost.
Also, a cheap, noisy power supply coupled with cheap speakers without filtering might end up yielding you a lot more noise.
Just got the Powercore II 10,000. FWIW it charges from dead to full in 4 hours using this charger https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IUSYF8G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1.
With my iPhone 7 plus I get a bit more than 2 full charges. It's a great bank.
I personally vouch for Anker. They have a booth at one of my local malls. If you have multiple devices, get this car charger as well as this USB Type-C to USB 3.0 cable.
Turbo charging will be dependent on the power source, not the cable.
My favorite cables so far have been the anker powerline.

Check out Anker. I have this PowerPort and charge my iPad Pro and iPhone at the same time, along with my Apple Watch, Kindle, and baby monitor.
Anker sells a nice wireless charger on Amazon. It's not the full charging speed that the Official Samsung wireless charger uses (15W) but it does charge at 10W. It has two coils within the stand so it can charge through the bigger cases if you have one. It's a affordable price too at $20 currently.

That 5 port charger has been amazing. It is routinely use to charge a combination of my daughter's tablet, my Pixel, my wife's iPhone 7 Plus, my Xbox One Controller, mine and my wife's Kindles, and random devices from visitors with no problem. It has charged tablet and both phones simultaneously without any issue and at a very normal rate. I also use my OEM wall charger in the bedroom and the OEM Nexus 6P charger for travel.

This is my work case ( I work 7 days on and 7 days off so I use it every other week) and feels and looks great but isn't as thin as I'd prefer. I generally prefer no case or just a dBrand skin.
This is my home/out and about case. [The Spigen Ultra Hybrid clear.](http://www.Spigen.com/ Ultra Hybrid Google Pixel Case with Air Cushion Technology and Hybrid Drop Protection for Google Pixel 2016 - Crystal Clear https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LX6CDHG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_6M1Pyb6KC420F)

I also found these [Yootech glass screen protectors](http://www.Google.com/ Pixel Screen Protector [5.0"] [2-Pack] [Update Version],Yootech Google Pixel Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Google Pixel https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MPY1RPC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_oP1Pyb5Y22PEZ) to be more than good enough but they cover screen only and not full front (supposedly due to the subtle curvature of the fines edge).
Of course you can never go wrong with a nice dBrand skin for that finishing touch.
Hope this helps.
I use the ZMI USB PD Powerbank for all of those items. It is the recomended powerbank for the guys in Wirecutter. It is actually 20000 mAh but is really small for that.

Wirecutter recomendations
> I read good reviews about Logitech keyboard but it maybe too thick to I went w The official Apple one.
I have the Smart Keyboard and the Brydge keyboard. I like the Brydge at home but usually, switch back to the Smart Keyboard when on the road.
> Where do you guys stash the pencil while Traveling
Either on the side of the iPad or in a bag with some other tech pieces (cables and chargers).
> Do you have a privacy screen on it for flights ?
Nope - but I also usually have a window seat and can angle the device more towards the corner if there's an issue. But I'm not working on anything top secret and if someone really wants to watch a film over my shoulder without audio then that's fine.
> if you found a good charger w multi usb c plugs
I personally have and use this Satechi charger though the more powerful port is meant for my laptop (I can and have charged my iPad through it though).

I have an Aukey Powerbank which is 10000mAh and a ZMI one which is 20,000mAh - which one I take depends on the trip.
It took me ages of research to find new releases for items like this. Here's the Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074C2VZ2T/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I've been loving the charger so far. Incredibly quick.
I use a wireless stand at my desk and a pad at my bed. I have an Apple Watch so I use that as my nightstand clock so my phone lighting up doesn’t wake me at night. My picks are listed below
Anker Wireless Charger, 10W Wireless Charging Stand, Qi-Certified, Compatible iPhone XR/Xs Max/XS/X/8/8 Plus, Fast-Charging Galaxy S10/S9/S9+/S8/S8+/Note 9/Note 8, PowerWave Stand (No AC Adapter) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DBXZZN3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_346kDb0ZHGFKW

I got this.
Personally, I'd say search through thrift stores for LPs and even a Turntable. I got my record player from a thrift store for $10 and it works amazingly, has for about a year now, the most maintenance I've had to do is buy a new drive belt and a preamp so I could actually turn it up to proper volume (all that was about a $60 total). I can't guarantee the same luck with you of course. But that's always the option if you want to go cheap and don't have much of a preference. There's also the internet of course too.
For records, again thrift stores are great. They're usually only a $1 a record. You will see A LOT of repeats in a thrift store record collection, but if you take the time to sort through it, you can find great things. Also the internet is a great way to finding local stores around you and a great way to buy records. I live in Massachusetts, and I buy a great bulk of records from Newbury Comics, seeing as it's closest to me and one of the very few places that has them around me. Buying directly from whatever artist you want also works, it's reliable AND you're directly supporting them and you can also get some pretty cool bundles and deals too! I also recommend Kung Fu Nation if you like any of the bands they support they usually sell LPs of albums they've released.
As for equipment, just find a reliable pair of speakers, I suggest buying a preamp (this is the one I bought and it's amazing. And when it comes to your turntable just be sure to keep everything in proper running order and maintain it.
I hope this helps, happy hunting!
Depends on the phone. I can use PS3 controller on Galaxy Note II unrooted via an OTG cable and usb cable connected to the controller. Xbox 360 controller (Wired) works as well also.
But if I want to use PS3 controller via Bluetooth, then I need to use the sixaxis app.
Yes.
On the R1200R, the gps is connected with the 12V auxiliary power cable which is switched on with the ignition. This cable can be acquired at your bmw motorcycle shop: hornig
You take this cable, and connect the proper leads (see description of the link above) with this usb power regulator: ebay/amazon
I've tried a few different 12V to 5V usb regulators, but this is the only one that charges the phone consistently with 2 Amps. Most other regulators I've tested don't supply a consistent 5V when the bikes 12V fluctuates (e.g coming to a stop/accelerating/switching to highbeam) causing the phone to drop to a lower charging speed.
I've found an adapter plate to mount that usb regulator to the handlebar in a local bike shop (standard ~28mm diameter socket) for $5. You can probably also cut a piece of plastic/metal like this and mount it with a handlebar screw. Alternatively: twistedthrottle
edit:
To hold your phone, Ram Mounts X-Grip works best (though expensive). You can replace one bolt on the handlebar for an anchoring point: hornig/amazon.
edit2:
The best/most secure throttle lock I've found is brake away: https://brakeawayproducts.com/ . You would have to measure the available space and handlebar diameter to choose the right one though.
This one right here
That's too low to be useful. You can't glance at it without taking your eyes off the road. I use a CD slot mount. It works very well and fits just about any phone.

Love this. Small. Doesn't slide on my night stand.
Works great.
If you know what size it is, you could get a sport band. https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=moko+sport+band
Or this dock https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Apple-Watch-Stand-Night/dp/B0109I9W24/ref=sr_1_4?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1481218722&sr=1-4&keywords=apple+watch+dock
There really aren't that many things that are specific to apple watch for $10 or less. If you broaden the scope to all Apple branded things, you could buy him an apple mug or poster or something like that. Gift cards are good too
This one since I bought my AW last year. It is very cheap but has held up this whole time. The charging disc fits snugly in the dock and the sticky tape stuff on the bottom has stuck to my stand, come off, and stuck to a different stand. It doesn't budge and supports night stand mode. For $7.
Usually they'll have one of those small honda generators. They're really quiet. You're not supposed to have generators in GA, IIRC, but lol rules. They're hot items for theft too, so be careful.
Alternatively, I've seen people use the power packs like for car emergencies that have the regular plug outlets. They'll die pretty quickly with continuous use, so sometimes people bring a fee, but they're easily $100 each(example: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FYJVFNK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_LemSCb8F83D33) . They take forever to recharge, so it's not likely you'll be able to do it at the park. Or you can get this beast: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0196GQAKM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_1bmSCbK96YA6M
The real LPT is engineering a deep cycle battery into a custom made box. Like this: https://www.arkportablepower.com/blogs/news/48712645-cool-diy-battery-box-on-reddit
Most these crews have this stuff laying around from hunting/camping/fishing/etc. So the investment curve is steep for strictly festivals.
and theres no bass and the treble is too high too, right? you need a phono pre amplifier.
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000A36LQ4
pre amp goes in between record player and amp.
I was looking at maybe something like this, just as a starter:
http://www.amazon.com/TC-750-BLACK-Audiophile-Phono-Preamplifier/dp/B000A36LQ4/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1310354886&sr=8-4
Surely that, coupled with my D2 and the Shure cartridge will surpass my current cermaic-based (Soundesign) TT?
Most turntables (including yours) output phono-level and need a preamp to convert to line-level using a phono preamp (like this). Some older receivers have one built into an input labeled phono.

I don't know about designated keyboards, a case with a slim keyboard built in would be nice, but I might just get this Logitech Bluetooth keyboard and a slip cover for the tablet.
You can always get one of these micro-USB adapters and plug any regular USB device into it.
I bought that case and there are a couple things you should know that I wish I did. Firstly, it is hard to type on because it is small and the buttons, especially the space bar, are slightly indented, making them hard to depress. Secondly, it is not bluetooth, so you also need to buy an OTG cable for it, which is cheap but might take some time to get to your place if you don't pay attention to where you are ordering it from. The entire first page when I bought mine were shipped from Hong Kong and it took about a month for me to get it. You cannot have the N7 plugged plugged in to the wall while you have the keyboard attached either, which makes longer typing sessions impossible, but you wouldn't want to type on the keyboard for longer sessions anyway. Lastly, the thing is not a case. The little hooks only hold the Nexus 7 in two places on the bottom and one on the top. The two hooks on the bottom, for me, were not parallel, which angered me that the N7 was on a tilt the whole time I tried using it. If you are transporting it, there is a great chance the N7 will simply fall out, and the case offeres no actual protection from falls, impact, or scratches. Additionally, it says it comes with a stylus, but that is just a plastic stick, so it will not work with the N7.
In summation, I would recommend saving the $4 +$5.95 on this and just purchase a reglar case with a kickstand and a fullsize bluetooth keyboard/mouse combo, as the efficiency of a mouse extremely helpful while typing large pieces also. If you are tyring to make a mini desktop setup, I'd also be sure to download a launcher that autorotates the homescreen, if you aren't rooting the device to change the LCD density controls ande give the N7 the 10-inch layout.
Ill just leave this here for people who want to go with this idea. I ordered 2 just to have a spare. Not bad for 65 cents and free shipping.

This is the USB OTG cable I picked up. Works fine. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005FUNYSA/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00
Use a normal usb keyboard + http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005FUNYSA/
I'm gonna try that out with my das, i'll let you know how it turns out soon :)
Yeah, this is the one I bought. There is another one I just saw on amazon when I was getting the link for the one i bought that has the x mount with the silicone holder along with the ball socket arm and a u bolt set up for mounting to the bars. Here is that set up
I have a Samsung s6 edge and the silicone part is pretty tight. I think any phone that is bigger might be too big to fit.
Edit: i screwed up the links, fixed now.
here
I got a RAM mount a couple years ago and it has been 1000% worth every penny. Really nice setup to have. Mine is this package, but I went directly to RAM and got a base that mounts right on top of my clutch reservoir like this.
Items used:
Battery SAE Connector $6
SEA connection that has 4 plugs. If I need to hook up a battery charger or air compressor it's nice.
USB Power $10 I used one for the phone itself and one for the hub, however you only need one. I just didnt not want the amplifier taking power away from charging the phone. Redundancy is nice too. Extra USB ports for whatever.
USB Hub $7 For all the gadgets.
USB Phone Power Cable $5 This is the real weak point in the setup. I've gone through a lot of these. monoprice.com is good for really cheap cords.
[Phone Audio output(between phone and amplifier)] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00F9KUF7O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

[Amplifier]( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005HJWWW8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 $28
Amplifier output connection: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00007FGU7/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) $30 After not being able to hear very well with no amplifier, this greatly improved the experience.
Helmet coil cord $5 With this cord you never know the cord is there until you get off the bike and it will break away.
Helmet speakers: $10 I found a great deal on ebay for some "hoodie" speakers and I epoxied them in the helmet. You could always use this setup with earbuds too, but I was never fond of getting them pulled out while riding.
Phone mount $35 I would trust it will an $800 phone.

For a screen protector, I would recommend any tempered glass one. I personally have a Niliken and love it.

For a case, I have the Spigen Ultra Hybrid and Slim Armor. Both feel great, minimal bulk, plenty of protection and work fine with the glass screen protector.
http://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Japanese-Protector-Included-Resistant/dp/B00FJJ38HY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1395672687&sr=8-2&keywords=spigen+nexus+5

Wife and I are using 3 types of cases and all of them work with wireless charging:
We've dropped our phones with all these cases and the cases have done an excellent job in protecting the phone and the screen. Our phones look brand new and charge without any issues.
Spigen Hybrid

But there's not alot of tactile feedback. I do like how you can cut out art and put in the back of your phone. Essentially you can have whatever backing you can cut.

I bought that one, and got 2 day shipping. It's only $10, comes with a screen protector, and even if it doesn't fit right it'll protect the phone till i get a case i want!
I have this mount that sits in the CD slot. I only use it on trips and it's been fine so far. Had a Nexus 6 which barely fit and my Pixel XL fits fine.
You can orient the phone horizontal or vertical. It's easy to set up or remove. Only minor complaint is that my phone covers a bit of the infotainment screen.
I'm using one that mounts in the CD slot, no complaints
Seconded for Aukey. I have this and this and they both work very well with no issues. Also purchased this and this and they are great as well. You can usually find promo codes for Aukey devices on Amazon.

I use this in my car and this for work/travel and they both charge quickly. The second one is currently out of stock but the build and functionality of the brand is fairly good. It fiddles around for the first five seconds saying TurboPower connected/disconnected but stays charging afterwards. Plus, you can get good deals on both of those with the offers underneath them.
Edit: Have been using both since November with no problems.
Great deal! Also got this car charger together. ($5.99 with code CZO24P8M) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LJT2EPK/

Can't go wrong with this one. Aukey makes some quality stuff. My Nexus gains 40-50% of battery on my 20 min drive to work with this.
Worked on my Mk6 and still working great on my Mk7:

Bought it a few years back for my wife's 16' impreza... works and looks great.
I use the Kenu Airframe+. It's pretty good.
I use a Kenu Airframe+ in my car generally, and take it with me when travelling. Small. Works well.
This vent mount. Bought it for 15 bucks a while back. Has a nice grip to it. Went out to the bumpy suburbs and it held my 6P without budging a bit.
I did my research and settled on a Kenu Airframe+. It's been a good choice. It's small and unobtrusive and meets my Ubering needs.
Use the cheapest & most efficient bed-side night-stand-mode compatible dock:
https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Apple-Watch-Stand-Night/dp/B0109I9W24

I bought this one this past weekend and it will be delivered tomorrow. It's good to hear the positive reviews on it. So many reviews on amazon nowadays are paid reviews so it's getting hard to gauge what's a good product.
I use a small dock for my watch and a wireless charging pad for my phone. Both are on my nightstand.
Looks definitely cool. But I'm always wondering if the material costs are lower than the 8$ stand from Spigen (this one).
Or is it more like a "I created this by myself" thing? :)
I have this one. It's a magnetic mount, so you need to stick a metal plate inside if your case.

Yes, When I had my EV I would drive under 50 miles almost every day.
Regarding the product i couldn't find a data sheet or specifications on your website.
That said from photos, and comments here, it appears to be a 5kWh external battery pack, able to be charged from a standard wall outlet (using a tiny wall wart), and with an integrated inverter powerful enough to run a factory volt EVSE (I assume something like 15A at 110V?)
Your website shows a slim female carrying the device with one hand, and you advertise the price as USD999. You state on reddit the current charge time from a wall outlet is 6 hours.
There are a few technical issues with the above that you really should look into.
Weight As an example, the chevy bolt battery pack holds 60kWh, and weights 440kg. Your pack is to be 12 times smaller, so weight will be at least 37 kg (prob more as packaging in a smaller pack will be less efficient. A 2kW inverter will be 5 - 8 kg, therefore your minimum weight will be 42 - 45kg's. No way your slim female is carrying that with one hand wearing heels.
Cost A 6.4kWh powerwall runs as USD3000. Your price is under a third of that, and you need to include an inverter & charger that will run to hundreds of dollars...
Wall Wart To charge in 6 hours, you will need to charge at 830Watts. I don't think any wall wart goes that high.
-------------------------------------------------
Take a look at what is already on the market:
0.4kWh, 300W output battery bank for USD390, 12.36 pounds
Anker 0.4kWh, USD500, 9.36 pounds
1.1kWh, 1100W output, USD1,749, 20 pounds
You specs require something about 10 to 12 times the capacity / inverter power as the first two items, and about 5 times the capacity / inverter power of the last one.
As such I would expect you would need to price your device at around USD 6000, and expect it to weigh 100pounds (roughly 50kg).
With those numbers the proposal is a lot less attractive. 50kg's is very hard to move by hand, and $6000 is a lot of money to tie up in a battery bank. (I wouldn't want to leave that unattended as I charged during the day). Also that money would go a long way in terms of just buying a longer range EV in the first place (Price jump from a 30kWh Leaf to a 60kWh Chevy Bolt in the USA is $6000) and that buys you a 6x the additional range of your 5kWh power pack, with convenance to boot... (no charging car and power pack each night (just charge car), no lugging around heavy power pack. no need to change except at night (every second night) for your 40/ 50 mile days)...

Want a longer battery life? Buy these fairly inexpensive items on Amazon:
USB Charge/Data cable: https://www.amazon.com/Data-Power-USB-Cable-Sony-PSP/dp/B000LEFKXC
Anker portable charger (chosen for form factor, battery size, and sale price): https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerCore-Ultra-Compact-Fast-Charging-Technology/dp/B01CU1EC6Y/ref=zg_bs_7073960011_10
My nearly identical setup used to work amazingly before I gifted my PSP.
I can use my Iris with my iPad (wired), but it's a bit of a pain to transport. I'd rather bring a Let's Split or a Planck with me.
Either way, this is what you need:
I quite like my Aukey 30000mAh bank. It can charge over micro USB and USB Type-C simultaneously, and it's a bit beefier than the USB Type-C Anker bank.
That one is 17ah. Not terrible, but if battery capacity is what you want to maximize, this one is almost twice the capacity (30ah) for about the same price.
It's a bit bigger and heavier but I'm a huge fan of my Aukey 30,000 power bank. This thing is a beast, can keep my phone running for easily a week with fairly heavy use. Down side is that it's right over a pound in weight.
I know Aukey doesn't have the customer support that Anker offers, but Aukey offered this with 2 quick charge ports and 1 USB C port which can be hard to find (I think Anker recently released a 20,000 power bank with one)
AUKEY 30000mAh Portable Charger https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01F8IRIN0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_MJRazbYJY150C
[The same battery capacity, but from Aukey, and currently cheaper.]
I was looking into this today. Both aukey and anker seem to be making fairly compact dual port quick charge adapters.
Also found a 10,000mAh battery from ravpower that has quick charge input. Anyone using these adapters or battery?
Can someone tell me the difference between these 3 10,000mAh Anker external batteries? One
Two
Three
I don't know the difference between Quick Charge 3.0;PowerIQ, PowerIQ, and PowerIQ II.
This is the wall charger I have. Which one of those external batteries will work best with my wall charger??
I've been using Anker cables for the last couple of months and they seem very sturdy and haven't frayed at all (yet). There's also usually a sale on them, so they're worth getting. USB-C example.
Do we know the length of the USB-C cable that comes with the pro controller?
I travel on trains a lot for 2+ hours and would like to get a longer cable (like 6ft-ish) so I can plug it in on the train and have plenty of slack so if I don't get a window seat, I'm not stretching a cable tightly across another passenger.
I was looking at this cable and this charger for my trips.
I went with this one:
Anker PowerLine+ USB-C to USB 3.0 cable (6ft), High Durability, for USB Type-C Devices Including the new MacBook, ChromeBook Pixel, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nokia N1 Tablet, OnePlus 2 and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LNAAEJ2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_poKSyb4D1SZ0A
Because red. Hope it works!
I just ordered this one. It has great reviews, it's got a durable nylon weave instead of just rubber, and I am pretty sure it's on the approved lists. Also, the color will be a cool counterpoint to my black phone. https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerLine-Durability-Including-ChromeBook/dp/B01LNAAEJ2?th=1&psc=1
Just order it from here: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B01LNAAEJ2/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=Anker%2Busb%2B3&qid=1574498811&sr=8-3&th=1&psc=1
I live in Sweden too and on Monday I should be getting it. Its 1.8m long but I ordered an active extension like this: https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0179MXKU8/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=cablecreation&qid=1574499015&sprefix=CableC&sr=8-3
I have a 20176 Hyundai Sonata and PH-1. Tried using the AmazonBasics cable (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GGKYR2O/) and still doens't work. I've also tried this Anker cable (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LNAAEJ2/) and it also doesn't work!
Plugging your Pixel into an old charger should be fine. I would avoid cheap, sketchy chargers in general though.
The only difference between using the official cable/charging brick that came out of the box and an old cable/charging brick is the charge time. The latter will be slower, it won't hurt your Pixel though.
For instance, I use a USB A - USB C cable for my Nexus 6P. This cable is slower than the one out of the box, but it charges my phone just fine. No issues whatsover knock on wood
I use this and this.
Works perfectly.
Anker's regular 6ft cable specifically says does not support quick charge. You'll need a very thick cable for that at longer lengths.
This is a thick 6ft version that will work: https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerLine-Durability-Including-ChromeBook/dp/B01M5GMZ6X/ref=pd_sim_23_5?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B01M5GMZ6X&pd_rd_r=VV3AWVD7SXS4KTFJ9XYA&pd_rd_w=hTbOJ&pd_rd_wg=nhs0f&psc=1&refRID=VV3AWVD7SXS4KTFJ9XYA
But it's expensive.

Here you go.
This one is better I'm with 45W output vs the 30W linked in the other reply. Less bulky too.

Dunno how big your pockets are, but this is what I use. It's kinda big but it'll charge your phone for several days:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072BD98CM/
Whatever battery you opt for, make sure it has "PD" in the description. This means it'll fast charge your phone.
Wireless charging probably isn't the best bet for travel; you wanna be able to stuff your phone + battery into a backpack, airplane seat back, etc while it charges, and get the charging done rapidly.
I've bought many Anker brand batteries, chargers, and cables. I'm currently using this model for my pixel, battery banks, and bluetooth devices.
Can you fix your post format, please?
-No, you only can replace the M.2 SSD with higher capacity or buy an external SSD
-Only if it's throttling too fast you should replace the thermal paste, maybe you can use Arctic MX-4. Undervolting it with ThrottleStop / XTU. I'm using ThrottleStop because XTU can't run on my laptop and it's very light.
-egpu.io is the best source for eGPU setup, check that website. I think Aorus/Gigabyte Gaming Box is really good eGPU
-Connect wired keyboard-mouse to the TB3 box
-Yes, TB3 output has enough power to recharge your laptop
-For on-the-go setup, you should buy USB-C charger that has 1 more port, maybe something like this https://www.amazon.com/AUKEY-Charger-Delivery-MacBook-Samsung/dp/B074C2VZ2T so you can charge your phone and headphones (I don't know a charger with >2 USB ports), a Bluetooth mouse
Check to see if it can run on 45W. There’s a good chance it can unless it’s running at a very high load. Some of the reviews will monitor power usage, and if it’s okay with 45W you can some smaller options.

AUKEY USB C Power Bank 30000mAh, Portable Charger with Quick Charge 3.0, Battery Pack Compatible with Nintendo Switch, iPhone Xs/XS Max, Samsung https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01F8IRIN0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_1UE5CbY5J313B
Save yourself some money and get this one. I use it all the time. It charges the Switch just fine while playing BOTW.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01F8IRIN0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I have AUKEY 30000mAh USB-C Portable Charger with Quick Charge 3.0 Power Bank, 3 USB Outputs Battery Pack for Nintendo Switch, iPhone Xs/XS Max / 8 / Plus and More and it works well. But it's pretty hefty.
This is the one that I use. I think they have a shorter one available as well. I'm a fan of Anker products. I do wish they offered a 10ft one of these though. I used a 10ft micro usb for my last phone at my bedside and loved it for that little bit of extra freedom it allowed me while charging. This chord though, works great although doesn't charge as quickly as the pure C chord, but I think that's the case with all USB-C to USB-A (I might be wrong)
This cable fixed all the problems I was having been working great about 6 months now. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01GN0M6NE?psc=1&ref=yo_pop_mb_pd_title

If you're going to spend that much on a charger you may as well buy an Anker with more ports.
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Charge-Charger-PowerPort-PowerIQ/dp/B01IUSYF8G
Samsung sell this for 7 USD.
Else, pick up an Anker charger & cable, they're a trusted and reliable brand. They even sell multi-port chargers, so you can charge more than one device at a time.
This has two quick-charge ports.

This has two quick charge ports, and then 3 additional USB ports.
Op I recommend you buy this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IUSYF8G/ref=emc_b_5_mob_t and use the supplied cables to charge the controllers usually charges fully from dead in about an hour or so
If you need two ports:

If you only need one:

I have the 1-port charger and love it. Like u/TheRipePunani (lol) said, anything Anker or Aukey and you can't go wrong.
I hate to break it to you, but Anker's USB-C charger does not fast-charge the iPad Pro. Here's the response I got from Anker when I asked them about it.
'Glad to hear that you are interested in Anker products. Since the OEM charger of 12.9' iPad Pro uses Apple's Power Delivery technology with an input of 14.5V/2A, sorry to tell you that we have no charger which can charge as quickly as its OEM charger. However, our PowerPort Speed 2 (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IUSYF8G) can take 4:57:26 to fully charge 12.9' iPad Pro.'
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IUSYF8G
I use this, charges both of them at the same with with fast charging.

You can never go wrong with Anker Powerline cables. Best built cables in the industry. Kevlar composite, same raw material used in anti-bullet vests. This one is 6ft too.

been using this anker for 2y and would definitely recommend it
I highly recommend these.
Edit: I use the USB-C to USB-C version of this cable for my Massdrop CTRL, and it works flawlessly.
You need a high quality cable, even the Samsung cables only last me a few months.
After I started buying Anker cables and car charger I have not needed to switch cables in over a year..the Samsung wall chargers have been fine, but if I ever needed to buy one I would buy anker, their products are high quality.
This is the cable I used on my note8 and now my note9

Zimi makes a 45-watt USB PD enabled laptop charging power bank that works well with Spectre x360. The laptop can be charged at up to 45 watts on the 15V/3A PD profile. It has a small form factor for a 20000 mAh battery with its size: 6.31 × 3.22 × 0.83 inches.
Check it out!

you mean this one? https://www.amazon.com/ZMI-Pixelbook-Nintendo-External-Portable/dp/B072BD98CM
This battery bank I got recently is cool because it can also charge laptops and power the Switch dock (if you'd ever want to do that for some reason).
For a case, I have a rebranded version of this case that I've only ever heard good things about. It's pretty great... they also made a larger version apparently that can hold the AC adapter.
Edit: There is a matching AC adapter for the battery bank that's good for travel. I use it to charge the Switch and power my Nintendo dock that I moved to smaller plastics for travel and bringing to friend's houses.
This is what I use with my Pixelbook + other devices, it works really well: https://www.amazon.com/ZMI-Pixelbook-Nintendo-External-Powerbank/dp/B072BD98CM
ZMI QB820 seems to be USB C as well as PD.
Amazon and GearBest
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B072BD98CM/
The charger doesn't support power delivery, the USB C standard. What you need is one of these:
USB C Wall Charger, Anker Premium 60W 5-Port Desktop Charger with One 30W Power Delivery Port
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B072K5ZJXF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_YWZ9BbNVB86DZ
You will need a USB C to C cable as well.
Your charger influences the speed the battery pack charges, as can the USB cable type.
Different chargers have different amperage output, and many travel chargers are a lower amp output.
The battery packs will handle charging from a higher amp charger.
I’ve fallen in love with my Anker Powerport PD (https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Premium-Charger-PowerPort-Delivery/dp/B072K5ZJXF)
It has four Power IQ ports offering 2.4 amp output, and one Power Delivery port, which is the Apple version of a rapid charge for high cap batteries over usb-c
It’s also hefty enough to handle charging all those devices at the same time, at maximum power.
Some of the Anker Products offer Qualcomm’s rapid charge that is used on some android products, some offer the Apple Power Delivery.
If it only lists PowerIQ, that’s just their own “smart” charge tech. It’s a 2.4 amp output charge, and is similar/compatible with Samsung’s rapid charger tech, and will have a noticeable improvement over most travel charger/wall ports.
AUKEY USB C Charger with 56.5W... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074C2VZ2T?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
This Aukey charger should do the trick. Both A and C ports, 46W power delivery, plugs into the wall, and smaller than the anker version. Haven't tested myself though, was holding out for something in between the aukey and anker version in terms of ports/size LOL
https://www.amazon.com/AUKEY-Charger-Delivery-MacBook-Samsung/dp/B074C2VZ2T
I don't have it myself, but this looks like a good solution https://www.amazon.com/AUKEY-Charger-Delivery-MacBook-Samsung/dp/B074C2VZ2T?pd_rd_wg=loNzG&pd_rd_r=a006ce88-8cfe-4315-9d7e-54bc6db55c51&pd_rd_w=NrcUY&ref_=pd_gw_cartx&pf_rd_r=PB2N3P26KF6RQDN33BSV&pf_rd_p=6b27b606-ba71-500d-b5f8-3510f86504b4
It sounds like you have not actually ordered yet, so here's a suggestion for Bluetooth earbuds:
Anker Soundbuds Slim are very similar to the ones you are looking at, but they support aptX HD (So they will sound better and have lower latency) and are cheaper. I have the Soundbuds Curve which feature a slightly different design. They are super comfortable and sound great, so I expect the Slims will work just as well. Lots of people recommend both styles in any thread asking for Bluetooth suggestions.
I really like this wall charger. Bluetooth headphones that charge via USB-C are basically non-existent, so this lets me charge the accessories while also charging my phone at full speed.
The Whitestone Dome is good, but they have awful customer service if you have any issues. Especially since you are going through a forwarder, taking weeks to get a resolution if you have an issue might be a deal breaker for you.
AUKEY USB C Charger with 56.5W Wall Charger, One 46W Power Delivery 3.0 & 5V / 2.1A Ports USB Wall Charger, Compatible MacBook, iPhone 11/11 Pro/Max/XS, Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8+ / Note8 and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074C2VZ2T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_CcyHDbWN5VEQD
I have a 46W PD charger from Aukey I bought on Amazon
I bought this one since it has USB C and an extra USB A port (which I can use for my phone). 46 Watts on the USB C port too.
I just didn't like how the 60W one has to be plugged into the wall with a cable rather than mounted right on the outlet. But for that sale price it might be worth it to grab one.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074C2VZ2T/
https://www.amazon.com/Nekteck-Certified-Charger-delivery-Macbook/dp/B0719KV9PH/
You have to decide what is more cost/time efficient for you between buying a new charger like one of the above or exchanging your c302.
I use this one.
AUKEY USB C Charger with 56.5W... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074C2VZ2T?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Your case looks pretty tight. I'm not sure if it will fit, but consider the AUKEY USB C Charger with 46W USB-C Power Delivery 3.0 & 5V/2.1A Ports (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074C2VZ2T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_dtoPAbAY89VQT). It has both port types and the C port will deliver enough power to run the dock/charge a laptop.
I grabbed a 46w (56.5 total with additional 2.1A USB A port) Aukey on amazon for $35 and have it in my hand already
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074C2VZ2T/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I have this laptop and yes it does support USB C charging. I use this one however, you want portable charging. The first one seems to be possible. All you need is to assure your charging method is of 45 watts and supports power delivery.
My current setup, similar to what it sounds like you're looking for, all-in for under $35
Anker PowerPort Elite II
Anker PowerWave Stand
Tranesca Apple Watch Charger Stand
Edit: formatting, wording
I’m a huge Anker fan, they have really well made products at amazing prices.
I’m using 2 of these, one on my desk and one in the living room. I love how they’re vertical; I have it positioned on my desk in a way that unlocks my face without me having to grab the phone, so I can tap my phone and quickly read my notifications when it unlocks using my face, and only lift it if i need to respond
For my bedside table, I have this one, which is a lot cheaper but slower charge. It’s okay though because I put it there before bed when going to sleep and don’t need a fast charge or anything.
But one of each is really all you want and you’ll have a great set up, and its still cheaper than buying a single Samsung or Belkin wireless charger
Someone here suggested an anker one to me. I bought one that was actually the previous version, and I love it.

You'll have to provide your own wall adapter and charging speeds may vary depending on which you get, but if you're like me, charging at your desk is just for top offs anyway so speed doesn't really matter as I'll be at 100% most of the day.
do you have a home theater amplifier? if so if you have empty rca in the back say the dvd,cd player channel isn't being used you can just use an phono pre-amplifier [here] (http://www.amazon.com/electronics/dp/B000A36LQ4)
hook up - [here] (http://www.phonopreamps.com/images/TC-750dB.jpg)
all this is doing is supplying more power needed to register the turntables audio signal a new amplifier may not be the solution
if your saying you have a home theater 5.1 the Marantz PM5004 wont solve any problems (only supporting 2 speakers) you'd need a 5.1 amplifier.
Here's a $20 option, and here's a $40 option that I'm currently using. If you want to spend more you can. Up to infinity.
Vintage turntable: $100
Cartridge: $60 Other good options exist
Basic phono stage: $50
Headphones: $100 Headphones are hard to recommend, but the entry-level Grados are considered good bang-for-buck by most. If you want better sound, spend more on the headphones.
Headphone amp: This is headphone specific. You probably don't need one. Build yourself a Cmoy if anything.
Here's a link to what I'm using..
http://www.amazon.com/TC-750-BLACK-Audiophile-Phono-Preamplifier/dp/B000A36LQ4/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1456875523&sr=1-1&keywords=tc-750
I gotta say, it sounds on par with the phono stage on my old Marantz hi-fi, if not a little better definition.
I use the TC-750 for, you input the two phono ports from the turntable and the output can be connected to the normal AUX or CD line-in on the back of the receiver.

Hey! I'm going to get an AT 120 LP. I have a question - can i buy passive speakers, if I'm also going to buy this TCC TC-750 Phono Preamp. Do i also need to buy a large amplifier in order for this all to work?
Turntable -> TCC Phono Preamp -> PASSIVE powered speakers = is it everything i need for the music to play? Please help me out, i looked for so long and it's still really confusing to me. Thanks a million.
Glad to help! Here's what I have - https://www.amazon.com/TC-750-BLACK-Audiophile-Phono-Preamplifier/dp/B000A36LQ4
I don't know everything about preamps, but I've seen these two recommended for a budget:
TCC TC-750 Black $43.50
Behringer PP400 $23.99
Yes, you'll be able to play modern records on old turntables. All records, old and new, run at standardised speeds of 33 or 45 rpm. They're clearly marked on each LP, and you should switch the speed on the controls of your turntable.
Normally when you have a turntable connected to an amplifier, the amplifier MUST have a phono input, otherwise you need to use an external phono pre-amp (They're really cheap - something like this is fine: http://amzn.to/17VJtnt). Old "receivers" or expensive home theatre hi-fi Amps almost always do, but lots of cheaper stereos don't. Sometimes, the turntable has an in-built pre-amp. This means that it does not matter what kind of amplifier/receiver you hook it up to.
I'm not familiar enough with turntables to recommend very many, but I have a NAD c556 (identical to the Rega RP1) which I love, and goes for about $500.
One of the most popular turntables on this site is the ProJect Debut Carbon. It's also great, but doesn't come with a dust cover, which is an absolute must in my opinion (I have one and it's always covered in dust - I can't imagine what my platter would be like if the cover wasn't there!)
Depending on your budget, it can be a good idea to buy a second hand turntable. If you buy a used turntable, you should probably replace the stylus, because you can't be sure how old it is. Old needles in poor condition will permanently damage your records! Great turntables can often (and sometimes speakers) be found quite cheaply at goodwill, or garage sales.
It's also a good idea to get a brush to get dust of your records, and a cork mat, which will help prevent the build up of static, but these aren't essential to making the turntable actually work!
Finally, don't worry if it makes you look like a wanker - You don't have to be an audiophile to buy/collect vinyl, and if you like it, then that's all that matters!
I've used and like this one, but this one is popular, as well. I have no experience with the later.
From my understanding, Sixaxis needs you to be rooted, which I am not. I just connected it using an OTG cable. http://www.amazon.com/T-Flash-Adapter-Samsung-GT-i9100-GT-N7000/dp/B005FUNYSA
Mhl adapters allow you to convert the micro usb port to hdmi and watch videos / play games on a television or monitor. An otg cable allows you convert the micro usb to regular usb to use items such as a usb mouse or game pad.

Happy to help out, diving into APM is a bit daunting but is very satisfying in the long run, especially the bang you get for your buck.
Cases/Barometer issues - I haven't flown using altitude hold on this board yet (got it for Christmas) but it uses the same barometer that the original Pixhawk does, so there's a good chance it is still susceptible to the same issue, which is air from props/wind disturbing its readings. If it is you can use a cotton ball or foam and some tape/a zip tie to take care of the problem.
As for cases you can either fashion one yourself or try this or this. Not sure if the holes for cables are on the same, but just about any 35x35mm flight controller case would fit.
-This covers gimbals and pixhawk thoroughly. I strongly urge you to wait on adding more complexity until you're happily flying however.
-915mhz is what you'll want in the US, you're all good there.
-Believe it or not there's not much more to do to get lily-like features up and running. You'll want an Android device (optimally with a 3G/LTE data connection so you don't have to download maps ahead of time) and a $2 micro USB host cable. Plug the ground side of the telemetry radio into the cable, plug that into your device, start the 3DR Tower app and you're set. It can even take "Dronies" where the camera stays locked on you while the copter flies up and away from you. Really cool shots.
You can try to use IOS but you'll hate it and you won't have nearly as much functionality. You can find cheap android tablets everywhere, I have a 2013 Nexus 7 that is perfect.
Once again don't try to add on too much at once. It makes for way more variables to troubleshoot and is a good way to get discouraged early on. There's tons of cool stuff to do with APM but if you don't take your time you better have deep pockets!
Take a Playstation 2 controller (can prob find one for around $5 if you dont have one in a closet somewhere) and get a ps2 to USB adapter + an OTG adapter. With 2 adapters on the end of the cable it's going to be clunkier than a wireless PS3, but no root's required and it's in your price range.
No. That device will not work. What you want is something like this:
http://www.amazon.com/T-Flash-Adapter-Samsung-GT-i9100-GT-N7000/dp/B005FUNYSA/ref=pd_ybh_rec_home_1
I use this cable, works fine for me, price is right as well (although when I bought it it was cheaper at $0.64). Took about two weeks to get it delivered, but free shipping from Hong Kong, so no complaints
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005FUNYSA/ref=gno_cart_title_1
I did the same originally. I bought one for $1.20 something from hong kong. However i clicked the click where it says "XX number from $X.xx" link and it comes up with all the available vendors for the item. I found one vendor from the united states, so it stated 3-5 day shipping (continental mail). Instantly had my business, I cancelled the other order and placed one from there instead. It was well worth 30 extra cents for getting it that much sooner, plus my money is staying in the country.
EDIT: looked again. here is the link to the page. It turns out there are many vendors from the united states. It tells in the vendor description where they ship from. I'd say cancel your order and buy from the closest to you. It will probably come within a week. I can't find the particular vendor i bought from though.
I have one coming on Tuesday, and in anticipation, I ordered these:
The first one seems to work fine for mice and other things, but not flash drives...maybe it would work with a driver hack? I don't know.
The second one seems to have varying results. Some say it works great. A lot say it doesn't work or causes freezing.
I'm not saying you should buy both of these, nor these particular brands (I'll let you know if they work, if you're interested), but you might find the potential uses interesting, and/or useful.
I use a Ram mount x grip on both my MTN bike and my motorcycle. Never a problem.

This one looks like the same one I got, except I paid $18 for it rather than $50.
Looking at the other options available, the handlebar mount RAM x grip mount is only $33 now (I swear it was $50-$70 when I bought my knockoff). If you don't mind the handlebar mount style I'd probably just go with that one. It looks like it has better adjustability than the one I got
I bought this mount when I got my license but it didn’t fit my BMW handlebars, so I’m just now able to use it for the first time. Seems fine so far. In addition to the clamps you see, there’s a stretchy rubber material that secures the corners of the phone down.
I have a motorcycle, this past July I drove across the US, from Florida to Oregon and back. Some of it off road. I have a Ram Mount and not once did it fail or did I feel that my phone was going to fall off.

i have a RAM Mount that works great. however, my HTC One M8's rear camera went to shit, presumably from all the vibration at higher speed. just a fair warning. i think it might be more specific to my model though, because after searching it seems that lots of people have had similar issues with the same model.

Try that one. Sorry- I copied from my past orders to make sure it was the right one so it’s probably trying to find it in your past orders. Anywho, it’s amazing and I love it.

I love this Nexus 5 Case, Spigen® [AIR CUSHION] [+Screen Shield] Google Nexus 5... http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FJJ38HY/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_o4uhub106BK3K you can customize it with your own pictures there is even a Photoshop template for it
The official one is stupidly expensive. And when I first got it I was disappointed about it's shape and how hard the buttons were to push.
I have just about every case type out there so about a dozen I think. The spigen ones are good value.
But what I like about the official one is that it's grippy in your hand and sits still if you rest it on your leg or a sloping surface.
I also use an Anker battery in a flip case so am transferring it between cases a lot.
Some cases are hard to take on and off.
For example the SPIGEN Google Nexus 5 Case Protective [Neo Hybrid] [Metal Slate] ... http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00EV8Y684/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_G9ssub0QCEF95
Is tricky even with good technique.
The Spigen Ultra Hybrid Bumper Case for Google Nexus 5 - Black http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00FJJ38HY/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_88ssub0TGEPX6
Is better, but, as you mention getting one where you are can be hit and miss.
There is a very good xda review that concludes that you don't have to spend big bucks. But IMO the official one does all the things I want it to.
> I'm looking for something like a Spigen Hybrid
How about a Spigen Hybrid?
I have the Spigen Ultra Hybrid , and I like it a lot. Sure dust sometimes gets inside the case, but it protects the phone great and hardly makes it bulkier at all. Just take off the case once a month and wipe it out, it works great! It is a really solid case also.
Clear case bumper by Spigen, similar to Ringke's: http://www.amazon.com/SPIGEN-Google-Bumper-Release-Hybrid/dp/B00FJJ38HY/ref=pd_sim_e_2
I've been really happy with this one.

This. I bought the clear back, black edged one for my red, and it looks amazing.

Your best option would probably be the holder that goes into your CD tray. Something like this or this.
I like the CD slot mount holders like this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Koomus-CD-Air-Smartphone-Android-Devices/dp/B00HRKI5V2
Exactly, with Bluetooth you don't even have to touch your phone. It can sit in your pocket. If you need GPS is easy enough to be a dock for your phone that essentially does the same thing (http://www.amazon.com/Koomus-CD-Universal-Smartphone-Motorola/dp/B00HRKI5V2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1393863763&sr=8-1&keywords=koomus+air) However, I'm glad Apple is putting something on to the market I feel like their designers will help speed up the modernization of built in head units across the board. Some cars look pretty archaic.
Does your Accord have a CD player? I used one of these in my Civic:
Koomus CD-Air CD Slot Smartphone Car Mount Holder Cradle for All iPhone and Android Devices https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HRKI5V2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_6pEyxbZWJA302
I don't use CDs much anymore so I really liked this mount.

http://www.amazon.com/Koomus-Air-Vent-Smartphones-Black/dp/B00JNJPS4W or http://www.amazon.com/Koomus-CD-Universal-Smartphone-Motorola/dp/B00HRKI5V2
Koomus makes some good stuff.

Can't recommend this enough, been using it for almost a year, with 6P and my 6 before it. Fits my 6P with no problems, even with a case on, and its easy to stick the phone in it one-handed. Seems secure, hasn't fallen out yet, and we have some really shitty, bumpy roads around here lol.
I use this http://www.amazon.com/Koomus-CD-Universal-Smartphone-Motorola/dp/B00HRKI5V2/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1426458468&sr=8-4&keywords=phone+mount+cd
Edit: fair warning, when I used a case it was a tight fit to the point where it wasn't worth the hassle, but naked I can use it one-handed
Sure thing! I have the Koomus CD-Air.
I can't compare it to any other ones as it's the only one I've tried, but it has been working fine for me with the Rhino Shield Bumper and it's been pretty stable. It'll bounce a little bit sometimes, but not enough to really affect the readability of Google Maps/Waze navigation or anything like that. Neither the phone or the cradle have never fallen off either. There are probably cheaper ones but this one has pretty good reviews, so it's what I went with.
I have a 2016 Ford Fusion for reference. It totally disfigured my little CD dust curtain thing if you care about that. I am leasing my car and I don't really plan on ever removing the thing to play a CD, so I'm not too bothered by it.
A few things I recommend:
I got great compliments on this:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HRKI5V2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I was going to get the Kenu but I didn't want that vent blowing heat at my phone while a drive. Also I drive a mazda 6 which as circular vents and not sure if compatible.
I perfect the CD Mount best.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00HRKI5V2/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?qid=1414881561&sr=8-2&pi=SY200_QL40
This one from Koomus has worked great for me for both the Nexus 6 and 6P.
Here's what I installed on my factory unit on my Mach to play tunes via my iPhone X + Spotify:
iSimple PXDX universal aux input + iSimple PXHFD3 harness for Ford + Mpow Bluetooth receiver/adapter + CD Player Phone Mount
I did upgrade the cig adapter from the Mpow unit to a double Anker unit so I can charge my phone at the same time.
All of this was super simple to install.
For some reason peripherals plugged into my cig adapter will stay powered on even if the ignition is off, so I have to plug/unplug the socket. I have to plug the lightning cable to keep my phone charged anyways, so this works seamlessly for me. Just hop in, plug in and my phone automatically connects to Bluetooth + my phone is right above my shifter for easy access/swiping.
Get a real car charger. This is not an engineering problem.
https://www.amazon.com/Charger-Charge-Samsung-Qualcomm-Certified/dp/B00LJT2EPK
i have that set up. if nothing is plugged into the 12v adapter it doesn't draw power. 2 years so far without any battery related issues.
I use a regular 12v socket instead of the USB because i use a quickcharge charger with my phone because gps and screen on full brightness + data really drains the battery and normal chargers can't keep up.
I've had this for almost a year now. It works great and doesn't take up much space
Aukey Car Charger with Quick Charge 2.0 Port for LG G4, Samsung Galaxy S7/S6/Edge, Nexus 6, iPhone(Qualcomm Certified) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LJT2EPK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_WVdfCr359o8Fj
2.1a is the universal fast charger you'll see around. Doesn't rely on any fancy standards or anything. Quick Charge 2/3 and Samsung Fast Charge are standards developed that some phone support. It increases voltage to allow an even faster charge, with better efficiency. Personally I think they're quite invaluable, but again require both phone and charger to support it. This is an example from a company I use. The green is a standard 2.4A port, the Orange is a Quick Charge 2 port. I don't know which country you're in, but that's an example, you may be able to find cheaper and more local.
I have both of these. One in each car. They work great with my S7 Edge.

Same as pretty much everyone else here. I have the Airframe+ by Kenu. It's very stable and keeps my phone cool. Kinda scared to see what happens in the winter though tbh. I would def recommend though!
https://www.amazon.com/Kenu-Airframe-Mount-Smartphones-Phablets/dp/B00LU5LWQK
Kenu Airframe is a very nice, if pricey, vent mount that you might consider. I use the door pocket sometimes for my LG G4, but it also fits, just barely, into the cubby beneath my radio.
Kenu Airframe+ Car Mount for Phablets
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LU5LWQK/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_mbuCub1Y01PDN
I've got one and it works great. Nothing bad to say about it so far. Found out about from a few Redditors here.
I have the airframe+ I hate suction cup mounts. This one is minimal and works.
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LU5LWQK/ref=pe_385040_30332200_TE_item_image
I've been using the same Kenu Airframe mount for the past couple of years. It still works the same as the when I first got it. I tried an iOttie CD slot type mount, and it just felt extremely cheap compared to my Kenu. I use an UAG Monarch on my S8, and there's no issues.
If you want to use a magnetic mount, the magnetic plate will most likely block wireless charging, and may cause issues with NFC.
i have a Vent Clip for my phone. It normaly have Waze running, but when things get really bad, i turn on Plex, and catch up on lastnights TV.
I more listen then really watch.
I'm a simple man.

I've been using the Spigen dock since I got my S1 and it's been great. It's dirt cheap and enables the desk clock/nightstand mode. Soft touch, rubberized feel and takes up very little space on my nightstand. Both include a little bumper to adjust for the 38mm, as they're setup for the 42mm out of the box. Cheap, simple and they get the job done.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0109I9W24/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_wsfryb6S441ES
I bought the Moko brand for my wife and she has used it with no issue on her S0 for some time. I think the cable management is a tad cleaner on the Moko. Otherwise it's almost identical to the Spigen.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B010LFIXMA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_dtfrybKGBNYQF
You can get a perfectly decent charging stand that supports nightstand mode for $10.99. It's not worth butchering your watch case (and decreasing potential resale value) for that little IMO.
http://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Charging-Premium-Compatible-Nightstand/dp/B0109I9W24/
One of these cheap and cheerful and does the job
I personally don't like the vent mounts, but love the magnetic mount concept. I also don't use optical media, so seemed like the perfect use for my CD slot.
I remember it being cheaper, and the one downside is it doesn't seem to work in all CD slots equally - works great in my car, not at all in my truck. I would avoid this thing tho, it broke within a week.
I found the vent mounts were the same, did not work equally in all vehicles (different vent designs work better than others for a mount).
Edit - found a cheaper one that looks similar to the one I have.

Does your car have a CD player and an aux input? In my old car these two products were excellent:

If you're already happy with the mount you have you don't need the second one, I really liked mine though. When I was car shopping I really put a premium on Apple CarPlay but now I realize it's still shitty if your car is powered by an underpowered Android tablet from 5 years ago, which it appears most new cars are.
Magnetic a gizmo that slides into the CD slot - I have a gen 1 volt. Don't think gen 2 has a CD slot.
I just ordered this one. I'm not expecting very much but maybe I'll be surprised.

I've been intrigued by the goal zero generators for a while, but then I found this. Seems to be significantly more powerful for the same price, still has solar inputs. I do lots of car camping and am really considering something like this eventually.
Someone above posted about the goal zero, its a great product! for the budget savy person, i went with a cheaper route that i keep in my van that keeps me running smoothly on my weekend shoots granted i shoot motorsports, but it keep my laptop charged, battery packs, audio equipment, phone and gimbals all charged up. its the Anker powerhouse, decent price and its on sale, lightweight enough to take with me if needed, and its dead quiet check it out. https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerHouse-Generator-Alternative-Rechargeable/dp/B0196GQAKM
I just got a Anker Powerhouse (https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerHouse-Generator-Alternative-Rechargeable/dp/B0196GQAKM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1493417945&sr=8-2&keywords=anker+powerhouse). It is expensive but good for all sorts of emergency power. I can run a full night with the humidifier on, or multiple nights without. I was considering the deep cycle marine battery and all in the DYI ideas, but chose something more expensive, but more flexible.
Apparently you can charge it with a 120 w solar panel (16-17 volt, 8 Amp). See the questions at: https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Powerhouse-120000mAh-Alternative-Rechargeable/dp/B0196GQAKM
This is not the cheapest option, just the best known one.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0196GQAKM/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I24XAD72I4220&colid=1TMGWJRFITCSB
Seems really damn solid and reliable. However, I haven't used it before. Expensive too. About 15 laptop charges, might be overkill for you if it's only for the weekend.
This is one of the larger sizes that Anker makes.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0196GQAKM
I would really suggest getting anker power banks off amazon. They have better quality cells in them and they stand by their 18 month warranty.
Phone detects the power bank the same way it does any other charger so yes you can keep your phone charging and play.
I have this one for heavy use when my gf and I grind out several heavy 6+ hr sessions that stays in the zip up pocket of my mochi bag.

Though this is overkill and could last a week of heavy use. Maybe you want something a little smaller and lighter then I would recommend..
Anker 20000mAh Portable Charger PowerCore 20100
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00X5RV14Y/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_l43Jxb5Y6CK4J

Anker PowerCore 5000 Portable Charger, Ultra-Compact
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CU1EC6Y/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_P53Jxb6TFGJ6X
Beyond this the smaller options will only give you a charge or two max and for what you are doing I wouldn't recommend anything smaller.
make sure you bring a charging stick!

Yes, on your "just a thought". It strikes me as pretty whacky that a guy who says he's happy with his smart phone except for battery life gets all these recommendations for cameras that are geared towards making better pictures and which generally are also geared towards people who enjoy spending more time thinking about photography and taking pictures.
Seems to me the Anker smart phone battery charger is potentially a much better solution, and at the very least a dirt-cheap option to try before spending a lot of cash on a much more expensive and much-heavier camera. With that idea in mind, I'd suggest that even the 10000 mAh model may be overkill, I would look at something like Ankers 5000 Powercore model ( https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerCore-Ultra-Compact-Fast-Charging-Technology/dp/B01CU1EC6Y ) or even one of the 3300's.
I'd suggest using a 5000mah battery (which is about that same shape/size) instead of the roll of coins there.. this one - https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerCore-Ultra-Compact-High-Speed-Technology/dp/B01CU1EC6Y/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=anker+5000mah&qid=1563812060&s=gateway&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1
If you can't carry something the size of this because of your skinny jeans, maybe you should try some new jeans.
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerCore-Ultra-Compact-High-Speed-Technology/dp/B01CU1EC6Y/ref=dp_ob_title_ce
A portable charger will always be better because when you change phones, you don't have to buy a new replaceable battery to go with your new phone.
Yes. I it works best if you keep GO charged above 65%. It will eventually top it off up to 100% then drain from there https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerCore-Ultra-Compact-High-Speed-Technology/dp/B01CU1EC6Y/ref=dp_ob_title_wld
Heat loss. When you transfer energy some of it becomes heat. Since your going battery to battery some will be lost at the point of the garmin and some will be lost from the pack.
At home this doesn't matter because your have infinite power from the grid at least in relationship to the 300mAh of the battery in the watch.
The other thing you want to make sure of is the amount of Amps it can transfer at. You want 2A or above
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CU1EC6Y?ref=emc_b_5_t
Something like this is small , its about the size of a lipstick and its 5,000mAh which is likely over kill for what you need. Even if between heat loss and the battery in the garmin its 1,000mAh a charge this would provide 5 .
Therei s also this guy here if you want something flatter
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00P7N0320/ref=psdc_7073960011_t2_B01CU1EC6Y
Sadly these are the smallest they come in from what I can find. For something like your watch if you only needed 1 or 2 charges it be nice if there was a 2,000mAh battery as it would be much smaller but the majority of this stuff is aimed at cell phones and then tablets so you can get stuff that can charge a phone at least once all the way up to huge 50,000mAh ones that can charge tablets multiple times
For apps, def get the strava app. It will keep track of all of your rides/segments and you can follow your friends. Once you start using it, you won't stop! However, if you use your phone as your gps/computer make sure to buy a small anker charger from amazon with a cable to recharge your phone when it dies out there. Have fun my dude!

EDIT nevermind the below charger is also twice as big
It should be noted there's a newer model of that charger for $16.99

I have a 10,000 mah pack and it only charges a spark battery 1 time. And takes hours. The Spark supports the Quickcharge 3.0, so getting a power bank with that will reduce charge times. Like this one:
https://www.amazon.com/AUKEY-30000mAh-Portable-Charger-Nintendo/dp/B01F8IRIN0/ref=sr_1_20?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1524670565&sr=1-20&keywords=quick+charge+3.0+power+bank
Aukey sells one that does.

No, you can't simply connect the RCA cable to the turntable and the crack, phono voltage out is below 'line level' amounts.
To mirror what /u/andrews013 said, yes the aune is probably the weakest point of your stack. If you want to improve your setup, sell the Aune, buy a proper phono pre-amp such as:
TCC TC-750
Rega Fono Mini (which does have a USB output)
Bugle2
or several others & for dac suggestions I'd probably go with either a Schiit Modi, Henry Audio DAC or JDSLabs Standalone ODAC,
I just found this. I'm pretty sure it's for line level input, so you would need any basic phono stage to input to it. I've heard people talk about this one, it gets fairly positive reviews.
All the setups I've seen have the ground go to the preamp. I've seen people reference these
Could I use Pyle - Mini 2x75W Stereo Power Amplifier with TCC TC-750 and be good? I really don't see the need to have a huge flippin' box when all I'm wanting to drive is a single turntable...but again, I'm wanting to keep as much fidelity as possible. I'm also simply wanting the only thing sitting on my white bookshelf to be the white turntable (aesthetic whore :).
I am looking for a more compact setup. I currently have a Technics SL-23 sitting on top of a Onkyo TX-80 and it looks horrible. I am also using JBL 2500 bookshelf speakers.
My question is this: Will [this Pyle Amplifier] (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001P2R1RW/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=13XYWXZAWR3J1&coliid=IQ10TXTENCS80) and a [TCC TC-750 BLACK Audiophile Phono Preamp] (https://www.amazon.com/TC-750-BLACK-Audiophile-Phono-Preamplifier/dp/B000A36LQ4/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1464799060&sr=1-1&keywords=tcc+phono+preamp) give me close to the performance (if you can call it that) of the Onkyo? Would a Rolls VP29 also suffice for a pre-amp?
Thank you for any input.
Hey guys! I've been lurking this subreddit since I picked up my first record a couple months ago. Since then, I've been researching budget turntables, and decided to buy this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01F2B3FKI/ref=twister_B01KI5736U?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 turntable and this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000A36LQ4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 pre-amp.
I went scouring the pawn shops today and came across this http://imgur.com/a/2Lt0j amplifier. I liked the look of it, and figured you couldn't really go wrong with an '89 or '90 Kenwood amp. I took it home for $50, and realized there is no volume control! Apparently this model (KM-208) was originally sold with a pre-amp that had all of the volume controls. I have 30 days to return it, but if possible, I wouldn't mind rigging up a volume dial. Is this amp worth the work, or should I return it? As of now I don't have any speakers, but I'm willing to spend up to $250ish. I'm also considering building my own with the same budget.
TL;DR I'm new to vinyl ad so far have collected a TT, a pre-amp, and would like your opinion on the amp I bought.
Thanks for reading. I'm looking forward to your feedback!
Well you would plug the record player into the "input" of the preamp, and them from the output of the preamp you would go into any "input" of the Yamaha. So CD, AUX would be a good bet. And then yes, after speakers, you are good to go.
Here is a phono preamp for even cheaper. ;)
http://www.amazon.com/TC-750-BLACK-Audiophile-Phono-Preamplifier/dp/B000A36LQ4/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1406504785&sr=8-3&keywords=preamp+phono
Hi there, complete newbie here, just ordered a JVC AL-F3 automatic table for my first one. They said it comes with an Audio Technica SLT88E needle/cartridge. I just had a few questions/reassurances from the beginner's guide.
I assume I will need to get a new platter(I think that's what they are called?, the thing that goes below the record)
Do I have to get a new cartridge right away?
I was looking for a preamp for it, was thinking this maybe? Any other recommendations? https://www.amazon.com/TC-750-Audiophile-Phono-Pre-amp-Preamplifier/dp/B000A36LQ4/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1198035223&sr=8-1&tag=Audioreview-VigLink-Convert-20
also if anybody then had some passive speaker recommendations, something cheap preferred
I never play a record on RSD the same as the tone-arm weight? If you can swing it, I'd go for their preamp, or this one if you use it more than probably half the record.
I have seen the Grado black recommended, but it's probably outside my price range for my first upgrade, as it's worth more than what I paid for the TT. I also read that conical is better for older records, because an elliptical would make the pops and clicks louder, is that true? I just started so I don't have many new records yet, but I plan to. And yeah, I just got the Pyle as a stop gap until I can afford something better. I also looked at the TCC Preamp, is the ART still preferred? Thanks.
EDIT: My setup is a yamaha 3066 (aka 375) receiver, Micca MB42X speakers and an andrew jones sub.
TCC TC-750
What are some suggestions for receivers?
Turntable will be a U-turn Orbit Plus and I'm thinking of purchasing the TCC TC-750. I haven't purchased the preamp yet, so feel free to suggest receivers with it built-in too.
You could skip the receiver in general if your only input is turntable by buying a turntable pre-amp like this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000A36LQ4/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=googlcom05-20&linkCode=as2&camp=217145&creativeASIN=B000A36LQ4
Otherwise, I guess I'd do as DrGrinch recommended and use the tape/monitor out on the receiver.
cool i'll check that out! I'm planning to use headphones and i already have this phono preamp as well as this amp ready to order. All I need next is the turntable correct?
EDIT: possibly this Samsung SS-3350 reciever instead of that amp and preamp i posted above?
Thanks for the response. I understand the questions were a little...stupid, and I appreciate you taking the time to answer them. If you don't mind answering another....
As far as a pre-amp, I'm trying to decide between this or this. Have you heard anything about these? Something else you recommend?
Or you could just buy one for $0.64 off Amazon shipped: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005FUNYSA/
Bought this one. 65 cents plus free shipping!
Bought 2 of them
This, this, or this should work. I have the 3rd one and it works fine.
So this thing won't do the trick (connecting USB pendrive or game controller to phone) - http://www.amazon.com/T-Flash-Adapter-Samsung-GT-i9100-GT-N7000/dp/B005FUNYSA ?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3qFZZzEvPY here is the video with that cable
---
Well, bummer. I just read some posts and everyone says that Nexus can't give enought power. I found something like this - http://i948.photobucket.com/albums/ad322/hanyun2011/cableadapter/T2EsOZXopaXXXXXXXXb.jpg?t=1357396326 - but it is completly unpractical... I won't find any power source in a bus or train ;/
I have 2 batteries left from my SGS, but I have no idea how long would one battery stay alive. Also I have no idea how to build such thing.
I haven't tried it myself yet but you can use a 360 controller if you don't mind a cord.
Get a USB adapter like this and use the 360 controller.
From what I've read the controller just works in ICS. I ordered a different one for 0.58 shipped a few days ago and a coworker got a 360 pad for like 25.
I don't know how much ps3 controllers are but I have never used a better game pad than the 360.
Anyone know if this adapter would work with the N7? Someone in the reviews said it would, but I figured I'd double check.
Nice to see that you're reviewing adapters, but you don't really need to. I just bought 4 of these after having already bought and received 2. They're really cheap (68 cents free shipping) and they work just as well as any other adapter.
I purchased this cable - only tried it with a Logitech USB receiver, but I can say that works perfectly. Fairly solid feel to it too.
Also, it's 70 cents including shipping.
I bought a cheap one from Amazon that was finicky and only worked if I was holding it to the left. Decided to try my luck and bought another one (different vendor but it looks exactly the same) that works fine.
Ram Mount X-Grip with rail mount.
RAM X-Grip like Dan said and you can grab the little net to make sure it's steady.
This and This
I've used the Ram X mount for the past 5 or so years wthout any issue. It doesnt look that secure but it is. When the guy at shop recommended it, I said it didnt look secure. He put his brand new iPhone (no case) in it and swing it around as hard as he could and it didnt budge.

I went to the iron pony in Ohio recently and purchased this ram mounthttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B006X387ZS?psc=1&smid=A2XENS8LQP1A6D I really didn't have much knowledge of these but I figured there was a place I could mount it. It turns out that theres really not, i moved the clutch and brake levers all the way in an attempt to gain a little room for the mount and I probably could have squeezed it in with a Dremel but I really didn't want to do that.
Anyway after fighting the U bolt version for about 45 min i eventually decided that i was just going to mount it on my mirror, which...worked, and honestly worked very well. I tightened the mirror screws about a quarter turn more to ensure tightness and mounted this mount. It works very well. it doesnt vibrate much and its almost at eye level which is really nice.
Im only posting this in case someone was wondering which mount to purchase. I'm not telling to to buy this mount this is only what ive discovered using this. hopefully this gets archived until someone eles has this question.
This Ram mount is a good bet. I have a couple of knock off ones the same design (only about $15 on ebay) that have served me well. I even use them for enduro and my phone hasn't fallen out, so they're pretty secure.
$47 aint that bad dude
or $57
if you want cheap you're not getting a ram mount.
Really happy to see Woody got himself a thumper and will be motovlogging. /u/vanguard_anon you mentioned you were looking for a phone mount and most motovloggers i see swear by these things: RAM mounts. You should definitely give those a look if you haven't gotten a phone mount yet.
Also, you probably already looked into this, but something like this would be a great start for when you do your first motovlog, specially the segment from 9:50 to about 15 minutes, that should help you set up the camera and mic so we can get a good angle and as good quality audio as possible. (keep in mind the helmet is a big variable in all this, some are just better than others when it comes to audio recording)
Really looking forward to those motovlogs, also the guy on the video, Dan, would be a great guest for the podcast and /u/DrChiz should definitly try to get him on.
Hope this helps. ^^if^you^actually^ever^see^this.
Under $300- easy. Sena headset intercom kit.
It goes in her helmet and lets her talk with other riders. But, it also connects to a mobile phone with Bluetooth, so the phone can play music, phone call audio, AND nav directions right into the headset.
Sena 10S motorcycle bluetooth intercom kit $215
If you want to spend a bit more than $300, there's the 10C for $350 which has a built in camera. That can be a safety thing, so if a driver does something bad she has evidence of it.
Note- if she has a Schuberth helmet (expensive European brand) get her the Schuberth bluetooth kit as it integrates into the helmet...
If you want cheaper, try a $45 RAM Cell Phone mount so she can mount her cell phone on her bike handlebars.
This may not be a great gift if she's really new to riding though as the mounted cell phone can be a distraction in some cases...
Ram X mount. This is the handlebar clamp option but you can also get a mount for your brake reservoir or handlebar clamp bolt mount. This is the best mounting system I've ever owned.

Needs a Ram Mount with the X-Grip phone holder. Tat thing will never rattle off. Great looking project!
Hello folks!
While I wait for my 2018 MT-07 White Intensity model to arrive at my dealership, I am putting together a list of things I would like to change up.
Planned mods:
Any tips or suggestions are appreciated!
I am in the market for this too. Was saving up for this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006X387ZS/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B006X387ZS&linkCode=as2&tag=everide-20&linkId=JUE2XVSIDI4726J2
Here's a universal car mount. I believe it is a bolt on. I don't know if you drive for a living the way you described, but companies can and should accommodate. I would find it bizare if no one had supplied a solution for what you described.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B006X387ZS/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1527024402&sr=8-4&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=cellphone+car+holder+bolt&dpPl=1&dpID=41Jm1WhyvML&ref=plSrch
I use this handlebar mount on my boat - but I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable with it on a motorcycle.
I put on a Spigen http://smile.amazon.com/Japanese-Protector-Included-Graphics-Resistant/dp/B00FJJ38HY?sa-no-redirect=1 case almost at day 1 and did not put on a screen protector. I got the case when I saw this: http://www.cnet.com/news/galaxy-s5-bests-nexus-5-iphone-5s-htc-one-m8-in-torture-gauntlet/?ttag=fbwl
Good question. I'm sure there are. I have a relatively thin case though. It's not nearly as bulky as an otterbox would be.
http://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Japanese-Protector-Included-Resistant/dp/B00FJJ38HY/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1394835010&sr=8-2&keywords=spigen+nexus+5
Why not buy a Ringke Fusion or Spigen Ultra Hybrid instead and use a graphic cutout? Those cases are actually built with durability and protection in mind, whereas custom cases are generally just shitty hard plastic that'll shatter (along with your phone) after a drop.
I have had pay attentions to three cases, all with transparent back:
Design aspects of above three cases, Rearth one has the most minimalistic design IMO. Supcase have a bright logo on the side (logos of other two cases are not as obvious), the back of black one not totally transparent. Some say that Spigen one may felt more bulky, considering those straight edges, and it's a bit thicker than Rearth.
Then, official case looks really good, just not sure how well the button response is. It's most expensive, with nice design and high build quality.
I use this one : http://www.amazon.ca/PROTECTOR-GRAPHICS-CUSHION-Release-Resistant/dp/B00FJJ38HY/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1397230689&sr=8-3&keywords=spigen+nexus+5
Just the Headphone hole was a bit too small for my Audio Technica headset, but I drilled a bigger one.
Excelent case I use it with a normal screen protector that actually came with the case.
Here is the desktop version of your link
Here are the two things I use...
http://www.amazon.com/ArmorSuit-MilitaryShield-Anti-Bubble-Responsive-Replacements/dp/B00GDW22H8

20.00 and I feel completely safe with my N5.
Here is the case I have. Doesn't feel cheap at all and quite premium feeling. It also doesn't hide the cool nexus logo.
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FJJ38HY/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_AcHkub0GSVZJP
I got the SPIGEN Google Nexus 5 Case Ultra Hybrid
I am highly impressed for something that only cost $10 with shipping.
The one I got is kind of a soft plastic/rubbery material around the outside which feels really comfortable on the hand.
No molding marks anywhere on it so it it looks pretty flawless.
The back is pretty hard plastic, it even has little raised parts around the edge on the black plastic part so it won't scratch the clear back when you set it on the table.
It also came with two neat photo inserts you can stick between the phone and the clear back, or I would use them as templates if you wanted to stick real photos in it. Personally I still just want to see the back of my phone.
The one and only thing I think could be a problem is the buttons, I think it would be hard to have enough pressure to click them though the case. But since I am lacking a certain phone Google won't even speak of its existence. O_____O Its kind of hard to tell. If it indeed does work flawlessly it going to look and feel really freaking amazing being flush with the case.
Also with at least the case design that I picked out the brand logo is pretty incognito which is also a nice touch.
It seems like a really great value for such a cheap price. I think if I was blindly looking at the case and got to test it out with the phone I wouldn't mind paying $30-35 for the case.
Included loot in box
I have the Spigen Air Cushion case and I love it, I bought the Neo Hybrid when I first bought my nexus, and between the two, the Air Cushion feels better in the hand, the buttons are easier to push, and I enjoy the clear back personally.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FJJ38HY/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I use this one.
Did you get the lollipop OTA?
I highly suggest the Spigen Ultra Hybrid. It makes all the buttons flush AND easier to press. It's a really nice case. It's protected my phone from at least 8 or 9 hard drops and it still looks amazing. The plastic on the back is surprisingly resilient to scratches and I love that I can put custom inserts into the case to make it more unique. Originally I bought it with intention of showing off the nexus branding, but I really like one of the inserts that came with the case, so I've been using that.
The light had just turned green, and had to wait for a good angle. But, you're right. My phone is always in the CD holster.
I use a CD slot phone holder. It does not block the top display, but it does block the stereo screen. For me that is not an issue since I rarely use my stereo screen, I usually use the steering wheel controls to answer calls, change songs, increase volume, etc. Only time it is a hassle is if you want to see the rear view camera, but you could get by just going old school and use mirrors.
Side note: I have a Galaxy Note 4 with a case and this holds it very securely.
Here is the holder:
https://www.amazon.com/Koomus-CD-Air-Smartphone-Android-Devices/dp/B00HRKI5V2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1472736190&sr=8-1&keywords=koomus+cd-air+cd+slot
I've had this one for 4 months or so and I absolutely love it.
The pieces that actually hold the phone aren't super bulky, which I like, so it maintains a relatively stealthy visual (about as much as you can get with this type of holder anyways).
I also like that it doesn't fully cover up a vent which should be nice as it starts to get hotter in the next month or so.
Koomus CD-Air CD Slot Smartphone Car Mount Holder Cradle for All iPhone and Android Devices https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HRKI5V2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_7Z5oxb4B71FT4
Bear in mind that there may be differences in terms of how well one mount will fit in one car stereo, versus how it will fit in yours. (Obvious, I know, but felt I should mention it anyway).
That said, I've been using this one in my Nissan Rogue with my Galaxy S7 Edge and it's worked very well for me: https://amazon.com/Koomus-CD-Air-Smartphone-Android-Devices/dp/B00HRKI5V2?ie=UTF8&ref_=pe_1763890_145073390_tnp_emaildp_i1
It's quite easy to insert the phone into the arms of the mount, the mount has held onto the phone very well, and it's simple to remove the phone from the mount. It also leaves the power and volume buttons accessible when the phone is in the dock.
I've been very happy with it overall.
http://www.amazon.com/Koomus-CD-Universal-Smartphone-Motorola/dp/B00HRKI5V2/ref=sr_1_4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1415395453&sr=1-4&keywords=Cd+pHone+mount
Koomus CD-Air CD Slot Smartphone Car Mount Holder Cradle for All iPhone and Android Devices https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HRKI5V2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_kS27wbF22NB31
Blocks my clock but I love this mount.
Has never dropped and it swivels in every direction
I use this CD slot mount. It's worked well for me and even held up on track days.
I would reccommend this one. I use it in mine and it is amazing and out of the way. Never had one problem with it.
If you have a CD tray you don't use, get the Koomus CD mount, http://www.amazon.com/Koomus-CD-Air-Smartphone-Android-Devices/dp/B00HRKI5V2/ref=pd_sim_107_1?ie=UTF8&dpID=512x4RXhzBL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=1DYKS4K9G7CFV8KSZ81P#
the thing is great! fits my 6P with a case, grip is tight on the phone, but easily removed. it fits very securely into your cd tray, not at all worried about it falling out of a big bump or something. and it doesn't block your air vents. ;). Of course, you can't use your cd player anymore but I use AUX so it doesn't matter. I prefer these to magnet ones since no one else can use the mount in your car but you.
Not specific for the Nexus 6P but I struggled a lot during my N4 and N5 days with suction mounts, etc and even tried the Air Dock. However one thing about the Air Dock caught my attention and it was the CD player mount.
Since then I've been using the Koomus CD mount for my phone. CDs are seldom used nowadays and the position is better. It's far easier to reach my phone if I need to quickly move the GPS a bit or whatever without having to reach to my dashboard.
With the 6P you just need to make sure it grabs the bottom half of the phone.
Check out the CD player mounts as well, I have one and with the position of the CD player in this car right above the infotainment center, it's amazing. See for yourself! (Sorry no phone in the picture because I was using it to take the picture lol) In landscape mode it doesn't cover any of the touchscreen, as you can see in the picture, besides the Pandora button, and who uses that anyway? :) Besides, there's still room under the mount to reach under and press it anyway, you just can't see it.
Also, the top part of that mount retracts and grips the phone, so even if you have a larger phone it won't cover any of the touchscreen. It's sturdy enough for the phablets too, I've used it with my Nexus 6P and it works amazingly. It does rotate around as well if you prefer the portrait mode.
Amazon Link
I have not tried a magnet cellphone holder. I might change it up one day, but so far this one still works pretty good since I bought it 4 years ago. It holds my phone securely and I can adjusting whichever way I want.

CD Air Slot SmartPhone Mount Holder
They could, if it takes that long to charge the S7E it likely is quite low power output. A lot of the ports in cars were designed for older phones or those with smaller batteris like the iPhone. Not really a lot you can do if that's the case and want to use that port. Car adapters aren't that much if you do need fast charging though.
They make 12v ones you can just throw on a female cig socket. Like a so.
Edit: weird link formatting
Edit 2: are you wanting a flush mount for the final port?
I have this one from Amazon Quick Charge 2.0 AUKEY Dual-Port Car Charger $16 and works great
Wondering if the sunlight heating the phone might be an issue.
I'm currently using this Aukey charger with the 6P plugged into the 2.4A port with a USB-A to C cable, and I have had no issues with the phone charging (let alone maintaining charge) while using either Google Maps or Waze.
The difference is I have my phone in a CD slot cradle, so it's out of direct sunlight and the AC is usually blowing nearby so the back of the phone remains cool even after hours of Maps (and Pocketcasts bluetooth streaming) while charging.
I use an Aukey 2 port that does Qualcomm QC on one port and 2.1A on the other one.
https://www.amazon.com/AUKEY-Charger-Samsung-Qualcomm-Certified/dp/B00LJT2EPK
Wireless charging is fine, but any bump that makes the phone move and/or "jump" will break the connection and reset.
FYI the Qi charger on the CH-R/Prius Touring/Prime barely work for my S8+ because the phone is physically too tall.
I I have this one that I bought over a year ago for when I had my Nexus 6. I use a usb to usb-c cable and either port charges adequately.
I might recommend this one that will allow you to use your longer usb-c to usb-c cable.
No, that's not really a great deal.
I can get all those on Amazon for much cheaper:

Yeah, my car charger worked great for my s6, but doesn't work with my s7.
I use this works just as fast as the 25w. Which I assume is about the same as that.

It'll TurboCharge it and everything. My phone ends up being about 50% by the time I'm done with work, so I use this on my commute home (about 30+ mins) and it charges it up almost to 100% by the time I get home.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013HSQXZC?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00 - Bought this for travel. It's a little bit finicky, like sometimes it won't say "TurboCharge Connected" when you first plug it in, but unplugging and replugging usually does the trick. Definitely doesn't charge as fast as the car quick charger, or the included AC adapter, but it still seems to charge at a pretty decent rate, easily the fastest I've seen out of any battery pack I've ever used.

Can I use https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LJT2EPK/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 with an A-C cable and not worry about damaging the phone? I bought it ~2 years ago and can survive with a slower car charge if I have the good ones at home.
Any idea which port I should be using on that?
Was using the Moto stock charger in the 110v outlet of my pickup for a while. Then got the Aukey 30W charger. I'm pretty happy with it. Also have a couple Aukey 5-port chargers for my desk and my travel bag. Again, happy with the performance.
Here's a list of chargers that I have bought and used from Amazon that work with the fast charging.
Car Charger 1
Car Charger 2 This model isn't available, but they have more updated versions out there that I'd have no doubt work great.
Wall Charger 1
Wall Charger 2
Wall Charger 3 It's no longer available, but I still have it and it works great to this day.
As you can tell, I like to have plenty of chargers around, and most of them are connected to the wireless fast charge pads. The only problems I ever had were cable related and how I found out that not all cables are built the same to handle the fast charge.
I'll use this to ask a question I've been having trouble finding a clear answer to:
I have a Pixel XL, and I use the USB-C to USB-A cable that came with the phone to charge it in my car. I have a Quick Charge 2.0 plug that I've been using with my Nexus 6 up until now.
Does the fact that Quick Charge is different than USB PD mean it will only charge at slower speeds? Or can USB PD recognize the higher amperage levels, and push those safely to the phone? Would it actually charge faster in the 2.4A plug, rather than the QC2.0 plug?
Don't. I have one, and it's a great phone, no doubt. But wish I'd waited for S6 active or S7. Battery life with battery saving off is terrible, and performance with battery saving on is poor. S7 has bigger battery, removable storage and is waterproof.
But, if you must have S6 edge, get a case or bumper because if you manage to grip it without a case, you'll tap things you don't mean to tap... and you'll definitely drop it frequently.
Also, if you are in the car as much as me (ave. 60 miles a day) get a car charger with quick charge 2.0 because you'll need it. The QC 2.0 chargers are WAY cheaper than the Samsung Adaptive Fast Charging chargers and they do the same thing (this one is awesome https://amzn.com/B00LJT2EPK). YOU WILL NEED A FAST CHARGER ON HAND AT ALL TIMES if you use it without battery saving turned on... which you will because battery saver sucks.
Get at least the 64 gig because no SD...
I think that's it
This is the one I've been using - it's pretty great, slightly slower than the stock charger but connects as turbopower and it charges quickly.
The Kenu Airframe+ is pricey ($30) but came highly recommended & after 2 weeks, love it. I promptly threw out my previous holder attached to the windshield - it is sooooo much nicer to have yr phone to the right of your wheel without having to reach! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LU5LWQK
Thanks for #1! I tried going back to my Mountek nGroove but traded it. While it held the 6P with the Spigen case linked above I could not trust it as the 6P was too tall to make me feel comfortable using it.
Right now I'm back to using my Kenu Airframe. This holds the 6P in case with no problems.
Kenu Airframe
http://www.amazon.com/Kenu-Airframe-Mount-Smartphones-Phablets/dp/B00LU5LWQK?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00
I love my Kenu Airframe. They do wear out eventually, but they seem to endlessly replace them for free.
I recommend this
I have the non plus version, but since you have the Otterbox, you'll need the extra extension. The non-plus version will fit the Note 5 without a case.
Alright I just Solo'd an Alakazam right now https://pokemongo.gamepress.gg/alakazam-solo-raid-guide he had Confusion (rated Challenging by gamepress) and Future Sight (rated Easy by gamepress) and it took me 4 attempts to get it. I went with lv30 Houndoom (S/FP), lv32 Houndoom (S/C), lv32 Scizor, lv30 Mewtwo, lv32 Tyranitar (B/C), lv30 Tyranitar (B/SE). I kept timing out as you can tell based on my unoptimized squad. Some issues were hitting me like timing out with 5 seconds left. What I discovered with this little experiment of mine was a nice little hack to improving your phone performace underpressure. https://www.amazon.com/Kenu-Airframe-Android-iPhone-Accessories/dp/B00LU5LWQK/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1523903603&sr=8-2-spons&keywords=kenu+phone+holder&psc=1 I have this car mount and it's on your air vent. What I did was turn my car on and placed my Airconditioner on low and removed my phone case, shut all my vents off except for where my phone was mounted. It worked I beat Alakazam with 0 seconds left.
So would I recommend challenging any Tier 3 higher than Intermediate on Gamepress ratings? No. Don't do it. There may be exception if you have a tracker and know the moveset and have an optimized team for that moveset but it took me too much time and resources to solo that Alakazam and I regret doing it to be honest though I am stoked to have won.
Something of a lesson/cool story for you guys.
EDIT: The Houndooms were caught in the wild. So look out for lv35 15 attack houndours/houndooms on clear or foggy days.
EDIT: I'm also updating the guide with some performance hacks
Yeah, this is the one I've been using specifically so it's the only one I can really vouch for: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00LU5LWQK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_dp_T2_cELDzbC4RF3PQ
The phone doesn't slide and the holder won't rotate by itself either. Could probably get away with a cheaper one though.
I also use my phone for Waze since the NAV is crippled with no real-time traffic. The Kenu Airframe (http://www.amazon.com/Kenu-Airframe-Portable-Smartphones-Phablets/dp/B00LU5LWQK) works great right under the main screen.
Kenu Airframe+ I use this since MXPE and now ZPlay, no issue with the width, not sure about the depth with a large mod attached --
https://www.amazon.com/Kenu-Airframe-Universal-Accessories-Compatible/dp/B00LU5LWQK
Ditto, cheap, easy, solid, and goes with you anywhere. I almost bought one of those steel setups before realizing what a mistake it would have been considering that you can't use the big chunky mount on the back of your phone when you're renting a car elsewhere.
Don't get the ones with four sides, you just need two. Like so https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LU5LWQK/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_Rfe5Cb63BM747
The $5 section at Target has a similar style.
It depends on the pockets. As a guy, slacks, cargoes, and loose fitting jeans are all fine. Rodeo cut and thinner tend to have shallower pockets with tighter openings, so its difficult to sit down. The large openings and flexible nature of athletic shorts' pockets have given some people issues on /r/Nexus6. I never carry my phone in back pockets, so I can't speak to that part. In short, the Nexus 6 (case and all) is generally compatible with the average male wardrobe. Women's clothing, on the other hand, is categorically lacking in pocket quantity, width, and depth. Proceed with caution if also buying for your wife. My better half has the GS5, so we've had a lot of time to compare.
To check on pocket-fit before ordering, I threw together a quick mockup using corrugated cardboard, scissors, masking tape, coins (for ballast), and the spec sheet. Took about five minutes. Simply cut two rectangles (one slightly wider than needed), round the corners, and sandwich the two sheets together with the wider one forming the curved back. I stuffed in a few strips of scrap cardboard so it would hold the curved shape, then taped it up. Tightly fitting masking tape even deflates the cardbaord corrugation around the rims to give an unintendedly accurate curved-glass front. Works well, and has stellar battery life; I have yet to need a re-charge.
As a quick note about the case, Spigen's Slim Armor is surprisingly thin (for a dual-layer model). However, if you're used to the soft, springy silicon liners that Seidio makes, you're going to be disappointed in this hard inner shell. Less bounce (and less bulk) means less force re-direction on impact. That said, mine offers adequate protection for the moment, and I'll probably keep it for a while.
The Kenu Airframe+ looks like a great little car mount. According to Amazon, it fits phones as large as the Lumia 1520 (wider than the Nexus 6) but that's something I would wait to see before believing. I have an older iOttie mount that is too small for the Whale, but my solution is to 3D print an arm replacement. If your mount similarly falls short, you might also want to give 3D printers a try. Many libraries and universities will let you use their MakerBots for roughly the cost of materials, so a dollar or two at most.
It's great to hear that Ting is refunding the cost of your phone, and also that you're with Ting in the first place! It seems like Nexus phones are almost custom-built for cost and contract cutting (despite the initial price tag). I look forward to seeing you around the related reddits! /r/Ting /r/Nexus6
I use the Kenu Airframe+ mount. It's a bit expensive, but it is very sturdy and has a minimalistic design. It clips on to your air vents.
http://www.amazon.com/Kenu-Airframe-Car-Mount-Phablets/dp/B00LU5LWQK
Kenu Airframe + for me.
I travel and am in rental cars every now and then, so being small & portable is also a nice bonus for my needs.
https://smile.amazon.com/Kenu-Airframe-Universal-Accessories-Compatible/dp/B00LU5LWQK?sa-no-redirect=1
She uses the Airframe Plus. I'm pretty sure it is spec'd for the S7. They also have the regular Airframe which holds phones up to 5".
Anyone tried the Kenu Airframe + with the Nexus 6?
I'm currently using the regular Kenu Airframe with my Nexus 4 and I really like it. I was planning on getting the plus version when I get my Nexus 6.
I use a Kenu Airframe+, works great.
If you plan to stick to sub-5" devices, the Kenu Airframe is a good choice. If you plan to upsize to the Pro range, choose the larger model I have the larger one, and it's been rock solid yet easy to put my phone in and take it out one-handed.
I have a [Spigen]https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0109I9W24/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_21.CybDDC2B5D) dock.
Ah, I didn't realize the dock worked like that. It is expensive for what it does, though, I agree. I just connect my puck charger to $8 Spigen plastic dock. Even it wasn't so expensive it's still too big for what I'd like to do. I wonder if the magnetic puck is licensed by Apple in the same way that the lightning port is?
If you can incorporate this for your watch out will look more streamline . Spigen S350 Apple Watch Stand With Night Stand Mode for Apple Watch Series 3 / Series 2 / Series 1 / 42mm / 38mm, Patent Registered - Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0109I9W24?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
Ah ok. Not bad for 8$. The one I got is small and unobtrusive. Stays put w the sticky pad on the bottom but it's not stuck w adhesive so it can be moved easily.
Apple Watch Stand, Spigen [Charging Dock] Apple Watch Stand [S350] Premium TPU Compatible with Apple Watch Nightstand Mode [watchOS 2] for Apple Watch (2015) - S350 (SGP11584) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0109I9W24/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_r7JKxbKC73X03
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0109I9W24?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
10$ and no issue at all. No problems with any bands. Nice because I can use nightstand feature and tap the table to see the time.
Yeah, I just ordered this watch stand. It's an Apple Watch stand but it looks like it will fit. If you remind me on Wednesday I'll tell you if it works or not.
Edit: That's gonna be a no on the watch stand. The charger fits but the watch doesn't sit right for it to work.
Charge your Watch every night, treat it well, and it'll treat you well. :)
A cheap little nightstand dock is a good purchase, makes it a regular place to charge the device overnight and keep your charging puck stationary. This is the one I have, but you can find others that work just as well, and its from the Spigen offical eBay store: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Spigen-Apple-Watch-Stand-S350-Compatible-Apple-Watch-Night-Stand-Mode-/252020890753?hash=item3aad9d9c81
I also picked up a spare charger for travel purposes, so I can leave the other attached to my dock. They're not cheap, but having a spare is worth it in my opinion!
Edit: You can also get this stand on Amazon for slightly cheaper, looks like: http://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Charging-Premium-Compatible-Nightstand/dp/B0109I9W24
There are definitely less expensive, yet still very functional watch stands on Amazon. I was using this Spigen one and had no complaints at all (https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Apple-Watch-Stand-Night/dp/B0109I9W24/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_107_bs_lp_t_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=E0GQMM062GEM532MJY2N)
That stinks man. I’ve put mine on my desk charger when I get out of the shower which keeps it on it’s side. Maybe that’s helped mine from getting messed up from my carelessness
Here it is if your interested:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0109I9W24/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_I3nSDbEM0E9Y5
A charging stand. Even just the most basic ones like this or this. Obviously it's not a big deal to stick on the charger normally, but when you have to do it every day/every couple of days its worth streamlining and a stand will make it practically effortless to just drop it on the charger.
Alternatively also worth considering a combined watch + phone dock, if that appeals to you - when I got my stand I didn't want one of those because they almost all hold the watch vertically which would negate nightstand mode. Now as of watchOS 4.3 there's a vertical orientation nightstand mode, so a stand like that is more viable.
Been really happy with this Black Stainless Steel Link Bracelet I got on Amazon, it's my new default. Only downside is that the Spigen dock I bought to use with my older lighter band is mildly incompatible -- the weight of the band causes the watch to rotate down off the charging surface (I have to prop it up to keep it horizontal).
I grabbed one of these the other day and I really like it. It's very very simple (and very inexpensive) but it does make connecting and disconnecting the charger really easy.

This thing is perfect. It stays in just the right place to not block buttons too much and who wants their phone in front of a vent? Was recommended to me here when I asked the same question.
While it's not a dock, I use this for my car and it works great. The magnetic plate (it comes with 2) holds it on there real solid.
https://smile.amazon.com/Koomus-Pro-CD-Cradle-less-Smartphone/dp/B016GNYZIC/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1483735542&sr=8-4&keywords=magnetic+cd+mount
> i've seen some cd-tray mounts that might be good (i pretty much always stream from my phone via BT anyways). Anyone have any experience with those?
Yes, I just started using one. People recommended the "iOttie", but I found one that is magnetic and includes little metal plates that you can stick to your phone or case. I put mine on the inside of my case, and it works fine:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B016GNYZIC/
Easier to just "throw" it on the mount, than to use some clamping cradle, and certainly much cleaner looking while not in use...
Honestly not worth having to worry about the port breaking your phone incase someone mistakenly jerks it or pushes on it.
I got this for my 2017 and is much better than the TechMatte one as the screw for it would block the screen a bit.
Currently if I have the phone mounted it still blocks the view but I can remove it for complete visibility.
Did you just bought the 2018?
For my phone holder, I use this: https://www.amazon.com/Koomus-Pro-CD-Cradle-less-Smartphone/dp/B016GNYZIC/ref=sr_1_14?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1493212591&sr=1-14&keywords=magnetic+phone+car+mount
Cause who uses CD's anymore? I also put the plate inside of my Otter Box phone case, at the bottom of my phone. I have an iphone 7 plus. When its at the bottom of the phone, you have full view of the infotainment screen, and your phone is very handy.

I have a magnet mount on my CD player. Just slap the phone on it, looks like a gps from outside of the car, best 20 bucks I ever spent.

I'm using the Koomus metal plate that came with the car mount:
https://www.amazon.com/Koomus-Pro-CD-Cradle-less-Smartphone/dp/B016GNYZIC
What you see is black duct tape over the plate on the interior of a Spigen Neo-Hybrid case, because I don't want it to possibly scuff up my phone :)
I have this guy and so far I love it!
I should mention I don't think I have ever used the CD player in my car.
I use a mount that fits into the cd player: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016GNYZIC It looks like this might work for you in the Elantra.
Koomus CD mount works great.

I've liked the vent mounts but the positioning of the vents in the MINI make it difficult to read the screen on either the right or left of the wheel.
I just picked up a CD mount that's magnetic and I am loving it so far. It makes reaching the right most radio buttons a little tough but doesn't completely block them. All in all it was inexpensive so even if I didn't like it I didn't mind giving it away.
This is the one I went with
Been using this one and it works great and you don't have to deal with clamps.

I have one that sits in the CD slot. I don't even own a CD anymore so no problem. It's magnetic so the phone slaps on and off quickly. I love it.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016GNYZIC/
I would have made use of this battery.
Use only portable electronics when absolutely necessary.
You can charge it with this USB power bank that came out in May:
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerHouse-Generator-Alternative-Recharges/dp/B0196GQAKM
This might be more in your range. I caught it for $180 on sale. Normal price is ~$220. It can run my laptop for a total of 20-25 hours. Granted, my laptop draws 9W from its internal battery under max load. I purchased it specifically for its low power consumption. If your laptop is running anything serious, you'd be looking at quite a bit less on-time.
When I first got it, I used it Saturday through Wednesday after work as my laptop's only power source until it died, running off my laptop's AC adapter. I'd probably get more out of it with a DC-DC car charger instead.
There's also this guy for $170, but it's half the capacity of the Suaoki.
You might also want to consider other things, like portable phone power banks. Ravpower's 34WH banks are $15 on sale and $20 full price. If you picked up 2-3 of those, a cheap usb powered tablet, and some usb string lights, you'd still come out under $150 if you picked up the tablet used from eBay.
And for $500, there's also the 400WH Anker PowerHouse.
Something like this?
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Powerhouse-120000mAh-Alternative-Rechargeable/dp/B0196GQAKM
Get this instead. haha https://smile.amazon.com/Anker-PowerHouse-Generator-Alternative-Rechargeable/dp/B0196GQAKM?sa-no-redirect=1
I suggest the Anker Powerhouse. It should suit all your needs because its made for outdoor camping or as an emergency portable power bank.
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerHouse-120000mAh-Alternative-Rechargeable/dp/B0196GQAKM
Not much different from https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerHouse-Generator-Alternative-Rechargeable/dp/B0196GQAKM though, and it's actually smaller for a higher price.
That can easily be solved with duct tape and a 120000 mah battery.
The gopro becomes slightly more unwieldy if you wanted to carry it in your bike helmet.
Well I hate to burst your bubble but I live in the most expensive neighborhood in the city limits (Old West Austin - 78703) and we haven't had power for about 27 hours as well. God bless Anker
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerHouse-Generator-Alternative-Rechargeable/dp/B0196GQAKM
This may do the trick......... :D
50Ah is old hat nowadays. Even Anker themselves sells a 120Ah powerbank these days, and that's on the low end of the scale.
Probably the easiest way to quickly get going is to get something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerHouse-Generator-Alternative-Rechargeable/dp/B0196GQAKM
I know it costs a lot.. but if you can get paid 50usd/second for the timelapses, it is probably easiest way ! Probably runs a D700 for at least a week. This is of course if you cannot get an extension cord there. With an extension cord or even the Anker PowerHouse, you could use something like this too: http://www.ebay.com/itm/AC-power-adapter-f-Nikon-D90-D300-D700-D3000-D5000-as-EH-5-EH-5A-EP-5-coupler-/180952806542
Not cheap but should meet your needs. Option 1 Option 2
Enjoy
not sure what the recharge rate is but i would imagine unless your directly tethering to the terminals then you would be limited to the fuse amperage, typically like 15 amps on a cigarette plug i think?
back on the main topic, maybe something in this article might help? https://teslatap.com/articles/12-volt-battery-compendium/ they dont mention exact rates that i saw but it says "
>The Gen 2 DC-DC converter in the refreshed Model S accepts 220 to 430 VDC at 15 amps, and outputs 9 to 16 VDC. When outputting 12 VDC, it can deliver about 200 amps.
>
>The Model 3 integrates the charger and the DC-DC converter into a single package, the PCS (Power Conversion System)

IMHO i would just invest in one of those Portable power stations from the likes of Jackery, Anker or Goal Zero especially seeing as how the replacement battery is going for about $500 on Amazon.
Here is a small one that does have fast charging: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01CU1EC6Y
smaller with no fast charging: https://smile.amazon.com/Anker-PowerCore-Lipstick-Sized-Generation-High-Quality/dp/B005X1Y7I2/
I'd go for the fast charging. It really makes a difference.
Selling Anker super portable Battery 5000mah -- $20 -- Comes with cable and small carrying pouch.
Reason for selling: I have a Power Delivery Phone, would like a Power Delivery Charger.

Get one of these to keep your phone charged.
OSMAnd is a great software that works just fine for me, it's based on Open Street Map and works offline. In addition to that I have a small powerbank that I have in a ziplock bag ziptied to my top tube when I'm on longer tours, that has never failed me yet.
I had gotten this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CU1EC6Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_I2A-Bb53EB9NQ
Though, i would say its good for one and a half charges for the galaxy S6, i bought this at a later day and each battery lasts for two charges which is enough for one day of play per battery, and the dock charges the batteries in about 2 hours:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0711YT4QY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_C4A-BbAB9T0KR
Both are great deals but it depends on what you are looking for.
Most modern phones and watches should comfortably last 8 hours even tracking and playing music.
I have in the past used a small Anker charger which I keep in my pack.

You don't understand this so I will break it down further:
Long story short, you might want to read closer into what the tech specs actually mean instead of buying based on brand names alone.
Please show me where it says it supports USB-Power Delivery 2.0? This is different than USB 2.0 data transfer.
>PowerIQ: 5V 2A
This part of the description is what the Switch uses to charge since it does not support Qualcomm Quick Charge.
Here is an Anker branded charger that offers the same output for $35 cheaper.
You could maybe find a black power bank so the color doesn't stick out.
Is everyone miked, or did you just use it as a stand to tape the flashlight to?Nevermind, thought you were the OP.There is also this type of power bank which might be more discreet
Somewhat unrelated, but I'm about to buy a power bank (I just learned that term from you, btw) for someone's cellphone, like this or this.
Can you recommend a good, non-exploding one that's not too pricey? I was planning on buying it off Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CU1EC6Y/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This one. I've only had to use it once (last time I was at WDW I didn't have the right cable to connect to my phone...so remember about getting that, too), but on my last trip it was a godsend when I had to be on the phone a couple of hours with our airline after a cancellation.
I personally didn't have problems while shooting in 1080p, but that does not mean that all other cameras are the same.
Additionally if you plan on using A6300 you might want to do something about external power supply.
Here is really cheap solution that I'm currently using ...

Note - Batter pack used in the video is no longer available for sale I purchased few of these and they give me about 4 hours of continuous shooting.

This one to be specific. AUKEY 30000mAh USB-C Portable Charger with Quick Charge 3.0 Power Bank, 3 USB Outputs Battery Pack for Nintendo Switch, iPhone 8 / Plus and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01F8IRIN0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_IMs0AbPCGPR2D
It’s a beast.
The car charger for Nintendo switch Hori is 5V 3amp https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MZAUPD6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_ep_dp_RBcKyb75XS92A
I would suggest you match that output in a power bank.... There are not that many that do output 5V 3.0Amp via usb c. Lower current output ones will charge, but do so slower.
I'd recommend looking at the Anker 20,000
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerCore-Ultra-High-Capacity-VoltageBoost/dp/B014ZO46LK/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1485844640&sr=8-2&keywords=anker+usb+c+battery
Theres also an aukey one that's 30,000 mah, but its heavier and bigger also I'm not sure about how well it conforms to usb c spec.
https://www.amazon.com/AUKEY-30000mAh-Portable-Charger-Micro-USB/dp/B01F8IRIN0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1485974356&sr=8-1&keywords=aukey+usb+c+battery
I did some very rough estimate calculations based on Nintendo's estimates on battery life and charging in post if your interested.

For $5 more, there's this one where you can charge via USB C, supplying a recharge at 5V 3A much like the Hori High Speed Car Charger linked elsewhere in this thread. Dunno if 2.4A (through alternative ports) would be a problem when the Switch has printed on the back 2.6A.
Or, or here me out here. Pick yourself up one of these bad boys and go over an entire weekend without a wall socket. I've gone nearly a week using olny this power bank to charge my phone.
I use this one for my phone and Switch. You can get about six full chargers on your Switch with it, which is quite a lot. I have had no problems with it and I would easily recommend it for the quality. However, if you want to get cheaper, maybe find one that isn't as large. This is a bit overkill, so maybe you don't need that.
There is an officially licensed power bank which you can see here, but its both not as big and more expensive than the one I recommended above. Its really not worth it, so don't bother.
And don't worry about bricking your switch with one of these either. All the problems with bricked Switches come from trying to use a 3rd party dock in TV mode. As long as you are always playing in tabletop/handheld mode, you will be fine.
would this one work better?
same thing but has a USB-C output
If you plan on charging it on the go, there isn't a better portable charger out there.
https://smile.amazon.com/AUKEY-30000mAh-Portable-Charger-Nintendo/dp/B01F8IRIN0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00
If my power bank fits into it, you have a new customer. I paid $38 when I saw it on slickdeals or kinjadeals, if anyone is curious.
Dimensions: 5.9” × 3.3” × 1.1”
Weight: 20.4 oz
Mine works with this USB C to A cable and the USB C to A cable that came with this power bank. That's all I've tried it with.
Has anyone used a power bank to charge there Switch since the 5.0 update? I hear (few) reports that some people had theirs bricked but perhaps not because of a power bank. I haven't and I'm worried about it using mine.
This is what I have: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01F8IRIN0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I just purchased this 30000mAh bank (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01F8IRIN0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) that supports QC 3.0 (Meaning it should support Samsung's fast charging since its equivalent to QC 2.0 and QC 3.0 is backwards compatible). it also charges via micro USB and has a USB-C input/output port so if you plug in both the micro USB and the USC C ports it chan recharge the battery twice as fast (~8HRs)
Aukey 30,000mah with USB-C
I'm using the Aukey 30,000mah . Fast charges the pixel USB c to c. Supports dual input charging of the device itself and charges off the pixel fast charger. Supports 3 simultaneous outputs. Gives you almost 10 charges for the XL.
That's a good quality battery. That'll more than double the stock capacity. The beautiful thing about spare and extended batteries is that you can really expect double the battery life. If you use something like a 10,000 mAh power pack for say a 30,00 mAh phone, you're not going to get 3+ extra charges due to heat and various charging inefficiencies. For really high quality power banks and high end Flagships I usually get about 70% of the power bank's capacity in "extra charge". With extended batteries it's like an OEM built a phone with that size of a battery. Have you been using the one stock battery that came with your V10 as you would a phone with a sealed battery (charging it via an AC adaptor)? If so just a new stock capacity battery would drastically improve battery by itself, I obviously recommend getting multiple spares and or an extended battery though. As for the fastest charging battery bank, there's no real Bible on that. Generally speaking you want something that's USB C PD compliant if you're fast charging a Pixel or 2017 iPhone, and Quick Charge 3.0 support for other Flagships. Most of the time the USB C port is pulling double duty for both standards. It also doesn't hurt to see if Benson Leung has given the charger his golden seal of approval. He's a fairly reliable guru who who knows the USB C spec inside and out. He has been wrong in the past, but generally speaking he's extremely reliable. Marketplace reviews can also be a good indicator, just look for verified purchases and see what they actually take umbrage with. I personally use an Aukey 30,000 mAh power bank with Quick Charge 3.0 and 30W USB C PD. I've tested it with power gauges it and it works really well. It'll charge all of my Quick Charge 3.0/2.0 devices at full speed, and it can charge my iPhone X and iPad Pro 12.9 (2017) at full speed. It can keep a Nintendon Switch topped off during use, and rapid charge it when it's idle. It can also charge a 12" MacBook fairly reliably. It's Overkill for a V10 but I recommend it. I have 2 of them, and bought them when they were $80 a piece. I've seen them a little lower than what they're currently going for, but they're worth every penny. To my knowledge it's the largest capacity power bank with this many power user features. Here's a link : https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01F8IRIN0/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1527167420&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=aukey+30000mah+usb-c+portable+charger&dpPl=1&dpID=31T63ZNoF6L&ref=plSrch.
God only knows what your problem is. Get yourself one of these and two of these and you're sorted
I'm sure you could trust one made by anker. I used their micro usb cable for over a year, jamming it into bags and bending it everywhere. Still works beautifully. Unfortunately their usb-c premium cable only comes in one color (red) and length (3 feet). I'm holding out for a 6 ft black version to roll out sometime.

I'm using this USB plug and this cable to charge my Switch when I'm not at home.
If there's no power outlet where I'm going, I use this powerbank, which is a bit older and isn't sold anymore, but works nicely. Doesn't charge very fast, but if the Switch is on Standby, it's alright, considering that powerbank was very inexpensive.
I bought the 3ft Anker Powerline+ USB 3.0 to USB-C cable, quite nice a few dollars more than what OP posted but well worth it IMHO.
The 3 ft cable is $13.99 and the 6 ft cable is just a few dollars more at $15.99 for the Powerline+ cables.
There's also the regular PowerLine series of cables which are cheaper but work just as well (they're simply not braided as far as I can tell), I own a 1 ft Micro USB cable from this series and it's good too.
That is quite odd. I haven't used the included A-C in my car as I decided to leave that at home for when I need to plug my phone into my computer. But I bought this Anker cable and it works great in my Civic. My only complaint is that the C end of the cable is quite snug to the port. This is good because the cable won't pop out on its own but it takes a little extra force to plug it in and unplug it.
Nope, you got a dodgy cable. I had this problem so I got a new cable and it fixed
Anker PowerLine+ USB-C to USB 3.0... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01GN0M6NE?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
This one works great for me
This will work, right?
I overlooked this tiny detail too, not all cables were created equally. Here's a link to the one I bought that was correctly spec'd as USB3 type C. Soon as I opened it I found how much thicker it was so more power delivery.

Anker Powerline+ cable..
Seriously. The cables I had kept disconnecting. No idea why. People kept suggesting these cables so I tried it out and it worked like a charm. Again, no idea why, but it works.
What about this cord?
When was this "Benson" thing confirmed by Nintendo or tech specialists?

Works fine. Good quality and comes with a wallet case.
Here's a good one: https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Charge-Charger-PowerPort-PowerIQ/dp/B01IUSYF8G/
You can only charge via USB so fast unless your device supports one of the technologies that negotiates faster charging. If your battery doesn't have that, then it can only charge so fast.
thanks for the reply bro. how is this one compared to the one you linked?
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Charge-Charger-PowerPort-PowerIQ/dp/B01IUSYF8G/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=anker+fast+charger&qid=1565751557&s=gateway&sr=8-5
So if I were to get an Anker with 39W with quick charge 3.0 (Anker Quick Charge 3.0 39W Dual USB Wall Charger, PowerPort Speed 2 for Galaxy S7/ S6/ Edge/ Plus, Note 5/ 4 and PowerIQ for iPhone X / 8/ 7/ 6s/ Plus, iPad Pro/ Air 2/ mini, LG, Nexus, HTC and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IUSYF8G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_weLfAbGAW8G9E) would it work?
Also I won't be playing there most likely. It's mainly for the plane ride.
I recently bought this along with a couple of these and they seem to work fine at the moment even though it does not charge rapidly.
I am curious about the fact the that brick is Quick-Charge and not Power Delivery and how that could play out later on, but time will tell.
hey /u/psychojunglecat3 , /u/vv0rm , and /u/kananjarrus
i got a response from anker...
First of all, let me thank you for your great support to Anker products. To your requirement, we would recommend below wall charger model for you, and you could use the blue QC port to recharge our PowerCore II 10000, and you will still have other 3 Power IQ port to charge your other devices:
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Charge-Charger-PowerPort-PowerIQ/dp/B01N2HIR9R/ref=sr_1_11?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1495091165&sr=1-11&keywords=Anker+wall+charger
If two output ports are enough for your needs, you may also consider below model:
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Charge-Charger-PowerPort-PowerIQ/dp/B01IUSYF8G/ref=sr_1_2?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1495091165&sr=1-2-spons&keywords=Anker+wall+charger&psc=1
Hope this helps and let me know if you have any further concerns. Thank you!*
I get that. But there are other anker adapters that use USB-A, such as this one that's 39W. Why not just use that and save yourself the price of the cable?
Do you know if this wall adapter would work if I plugged the USB charging cord into it and connected it to the charger that you recommended? I think it would, but I'd like to double check.

Anker Qualcomm Charger
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Charge-Charger-PowerPort-PowerIQ/dp/B01IUSYF8G/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
Thanks for contacting them.
I feel like it's worth noting, to get the quick charge input, you do need to use their QC input adapter. Assuming one would want a two port charger, Amazon has the QC 3.0 two port listed at 4.6 oz.
The older 10k (6.2oz) will charge a bit faster, in my experience, with my 2.4ax2 port (3oz) at around 6 hours. That is about the same listed on the newer 10k's amazon page of 5hr 40m with a 2a charger.
Assuming that the 4.6oz is accurate, there is a 2.6oz difference total for a savings of 2 hours if the 4hr charge time holds true as well. Still significant time savings but at a price.
This is the one i got, purely because it had good reviews and was the biggest I could find:
LG G4 Battery Case, ZeroLemon LG G4 8500mAh TriCell Extended Battery + Soft TPU Full Edge Protection Case (Compatible with all LG G4 variants) (4897010519648) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01181ODJI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_7-Qwyb67383AC
There are however some other alternatives if you don't like the price or bulkiness of the zerolemon;

And another thing, it's not widely stated but the LG G4 supports quickcharge/fastcharge so it's totally worth every penny to scoop up a quickcharger if you don't have one. I like the company Anker as I've been using them for years.
Anker Quick Charge 3.0 39W Dual USB Wall Charger, PowerPort Speed 2 for Galaxy S7 / S6 / Edge / Plus, Note 5 / 4 and PowerIQ for iPhone 7 / 6s / Plus, iPad Pro / Air 2 / mini, LG, Nexus, HTC and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IUSYF8G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_LdRwyb94QRH6K
There are some other anker quickchargers as well if you only want 1 USB socket or if you want something like 8. And they vary from quickcharge 1.0 to 3.0 which is pretty much just different charge speeds.
I bought this yesterday during the "cyber monday" deal, it was only $2 cheaper than that one at the time.

Any good charger and cable will do. These are the ones I picked up. I needed the longer cable, but if the one that came with your Nighthawk works for you, no need to change it.
Charger
Cable
I have an iPhone XS regular size.
To charge I have an Anker wireless charging mat that sits on my bedside table. Its connected to an Anker 39 watt brick with 2 usb slots. My watch charger is plugged into the other slot. I'm not sure if the charging mat is capable of fast charging, but it doesn't really matter because I put my phone on the mat at night and when I leave to workout (s3 cellular watch, thing is awesome) so I never really get to a point where I'm hurting for battery.
In the car I use this Kenu wireless charger. I kinda splurged a bit on the car one, but whatever. In the past I would have it sit on my leg and it would sometimes fall off and generally be a pain in the ass, so the fact that it holds it up is great. Benefit of upgrading from a touchid phone to a face id phone with this kind of setup is that you just have to tap the screen and it wakes up and a glance unlocks for any notifications.
I'm doing my best to embrace this wireless future. If I gotta spend a little extra to get there, that's cool with me.

Does anyone have experience with any of the above or perhaps a better recommendation?
Anker - once I saw that name I knew this would be good.
Their cables are the fucking best. I lost my original micro usb cable for my 10in Surface 3 (non-pro) and none of the shitty usbs I had delivered enough power over distance to actually charge the device. Their cable is so damn burly even the 10ft works just fine
the 6ft even came with a nice holder that looks like a sunglasses case

right after I got my shitty V20 in December of 2016. It's been awesome, the phone has not.
I use this power bank with this usb-c cable and I haven't had any problems. The switch charges at a pretty normal rate compared to the official charger, and I haven't had any crashing, errors, or anything like that from using this pretty regularly since launch.

I have this cable and charger and they've worked incredibly well:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016LO4UTA
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LNAAEJ2
I have an inverter in our car and was able to use the Switch (BotW) on a 7 hour trip without the charge dropping below 100%. Obviously works just as well when plugged into the wall.
For 3rd party I've recently found Anker (as others have pointed out) to be top notch:

Or would I need to get a USB-C to USB-C cable for the power bank?
Here's the cable I bought almost 1.5 years ago: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M5GMZ6X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_hU1xCbHMHQ7EK.
It's great. Quite durable. I usually buy a 6' cable (I use my phone during charging) from them with each change in technology. This one is USB 3.0 to USB Type-C.
I bought great cable from Anker 6ft Grey or Red available. Quality product and works perfect

>USB3.1 Gen 2 (10Gbps) adapter cable with USB Type-C connector providing ultra fast read and write speeds for the latest desktop and laptop
Yes, that only speaks "USB3.1 Gen2" as the protocol, and doesn't speak TB3.
To use this enclosure you'd need a USB-C to USB-A adapter or cable. For example this USB-C to USB-A cable which supports USB3. Cheaper cables like these will only support USB2, which will work, but be slower.
So, you can switch to using USB, or return this and get a new enclosure that supports Thunderbolt (which will almost certainly cost more).
Here you are mate, I got this cable yesterday and it works great. Little short but it's cheap and very well made. Comes in grey or red

Adding my two cents. Windows 10, i7 4970k, 1080ti, 16gb ddr3 2400mhz: using the below cable.
Only issue I have so far is getting audio to come out of the headset but it came out of my speakers just fine. I just need more time to troubleshoot the sound issue.

If you want to use Link to play standing games, I'd wait for the official cable. There aren't any others that are 15 feet long and still meet the required specs. But if you just want to play sitting games with Link, any quality 6-10 foot USB3 Type-C cable should do. I got this one so I can play Vox Machinae.

However, for the T490, in benefit of having USB-C charging port, you could utilize an external battery pack to charge up the laptop on the go.
There are an assortment of battery packs out there with high capacity and high output to be able to charge the T490 multiple times over. As well as if needed, can charge during use. While the battery packs may not be able to create net-positive charging, it will extend the laptop usage time at least twice over. Especially if you arent utilizing the dedicated graphics.
Here is a couple battery banks you could look at:
Here is a video Linus did about a battery pack used on a Razer Stealth Pro while gaming. (You will experience FAR better battery performance in comparison):
In my opinion, I prefer to have a sleek and slim laptop, with the OPTION to have extended battery life with a battery pack. Lenovo did have the neat design to have an internal battery, and a swappable battery slot so you could swap on the fly, but that required that you had to charge each battery IN the laptop seperately for each battery you have. Here, you can charge it outside, and use if for multiple different devices when needed! A win win in my books!
My powerbank still works. Using a qb820 with a Benson approved cable.
I tested it playing on docked mode.
Aim for a USB PD power bank with 45W output (the max iPad Pro can accept).
I have this one by ZMI. Great build quality and comes with some cables.
I am using this, work like a charm
I use a ZMI (brand under Xiaomi) QB820. It's rated for 40W at 20V output.
Amazon
N.B. MSRP in China is 299 CNY, which is quite a bit cheaper than the price on Amazon. Buy it from Taobao if you can.
I have this one from ZMI https://www.amazon.com/ZMI-Pixelbook-Nintendo-External-Powerbank/dp/B072BD98CM/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1537989136&sr=8-3&keywords=ZMI+USB+PD+Backup+Battery It can charge the Pixelbook at the same rate as the charger it comes with which is nice. It gets one full charge from dead from it.

Some of the Anker and Aukey ones can't charge the Pixelbook if it is dead for some reason. You have to change a setting that pops up on the screen to use them. To me that defeats the purpose of them then so I passed on them. I don't think the Omnicharge one has that problem either but it is like 3x the price of the ZMI one which is why I went with it instead.
I currently use a RAVPower USB C Battery Pack 20100 since it's USB-C and can power my MacBook (bought in 2017). If I were to buy a new one today though, I'd probably look at this ZMI since it's a bit thinner/lighter and the power output is higher.
I use these:
Compact single port
Dual USB C
Smaller Dual USB C (untested)
DO NOT USE (when two are plugged in, limits both to 30w)
Battery pack, USB C (gives warning but still can charge a Dell XPS 13). Can double as a USB HUB when needed:
Hi, this is not that hard to find if you search. The only tough part about your requirement is the Macbook requirement. Even though you didn't mention it, I assume you have a Macbook that charges via USB C? Take a look at https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B072BD98CM/
A Redditor PM'd me a link (Don't wanna call you out - Yell if you want public credit for it) to This Previous thread saying that the ZMI QB820 can power a switch dock. It's currently available on Amazon US for $69.95 (Complete with the seller confirming Switch Dock compatibility.
Amazon won't ship lithium to the UK, but can get it from GearBeast for £41.69 in a flash sale for the next 24 hours.
I'd prefer the razor pack, but it's three times the price, out of stock in the UK, and doesn't have confirmed Switch dock use out in the wild. Likewise, a power pack with standard outlets would definitely work, and give more flexibility for other uses, but they're still more expensive and a lot bigger and heavier.
Unless you fine redditors know a reason not to trust ZMI Kit, I think this is the one to go for. Hoping to order the TV, Battery, Hotspot, and simcard this week - Happy to report back on what does/doesn't work with that setup.
I designed and built an entirely battery powered "portable" docked mode switch console-thing for car trips and smash tourneys. Before anyone says it, yes, the switch is already portable, but 4 people can cram around this thing and not go blind and the whole thing will run on batteries for about 8 hours. That includes the monitor, which is now a 12 inch display and looks much nicer.
I am using this battery to power the switch while docked:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072BD98CM/
Which naturally also charges it. and lasts a LONG time.
Here's the link I used at Amazon https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B072BD98CM/ to buy it. I will be buying a second one for international travel as well as this 60W charger (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0712252ZQ/) for recharging the things (right now I only have 18W chargers. I'd like to be able to recharge one quickly while at the airport or whatever.
I'm not sure if my Switch's current battery drain is normal. I've read it somewhere that when the Switch is put in sleep mode with no game running in the background, it should be able to maintain 100% charge for about 1-2 days. I unplugged my fully charged Switch overnight and when I turned it on late afternoon, it has 98% left. Is that normal, or should it be able to hold 100% longer? I use the official charger for my dock, and use this ZMI wall charger next to my bed. Occasionally, I also use the ZMI power bank. Both of them seem to have good reputation and work well for the Switch.
Edit: words
I can't speak to the converter situation, but I did just buy this power bank for charging my usb-c laptops.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072BD98CM/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It seems like it is cheaper than some of the other options out there. Doesn't max the airline capacity, but has a solid 20k mAh. It has a 45W output that should charge your chromebook without issues. I haven't had the power bank very long, but I am really happy with it so far (and reviews are positive).

Your Anker charger will not have enough power output.
Think about a different approach -
Get a Chromebook that has a USB-C charger. Then build a travel kit around it. You will need a hub that uses your Chromebook charger as the power source, and includes multiple USB ports that can be used to charge your other devices.
This is one I found
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Premium-Charger-PowerPort-Delivery/dp/B072K5ZJXF/ref=sr_1_10?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1511790995&sr=1-10&keywords=usb-c+power+delivery+charging
There are probably many other ones available.
If the same cable that charges your laptop won't charge a microusb device with the adapter, it's probably a bad adapter. I've used the AmazonBasics c to micro cable without issue from by a type c charger and a MacBook pro. Does charging your phone via the type c/lightning cable work?
Personally, I went the route of a multiport charger. I use this one. It's a little sketchy on delivering the full 60w via type c, but works great otherwise. Unfortunately, I haven't found a 60w option from a (relatively) reputable company. Closest I've seen is 45w or 30w.
The OEM charger is 45watts. It will charge on anything less than that but just not as quickly. Right now its charging on 10watts (cell charger).
I was looking into this charger but its pretty pricey and I would have to get a USB C to USB C cable as well.
I currently use this Anker one, but have heard good things about this Monoprice charger.
The Essential phone is very, very picky about cables and chargers. The cable they included in the box is a very low quality cable and should be replaced for purposes besides charging. If you bought during an eBay special, you may have an unusually low quality charger.
For optimal (fast) charging, you want a high quality USB-PD rated USB wall (or car) charger supporting USB-C to USB-C charging.
Something like this, this, or this along with a USB type C to type C cable.
Once I switched to doing it this way, my phone started to charge rapidly every time.
A-to-C cables have the potential to be dangerous in the way you're asking, and there was a lot of that in the beginning, where the manufacturers would put the wrong resistor (10k Ohm) and the cable would trick the host to output in many cases more than they could. For A-to-C cables you want a 56k Ohm resistor. See this article for more detail: https://www.androidauthority.com/usb-type-c-and-3-1-explained-656552/
Your best bet (though unfortunately not 100% certain) is with well known brands and C-to-C cables. The AmazonBasics ones are good and cheap, and as a bonus they're USB certified. I got several in different lengths. As for a charger, I like the multiport Anker one. They also have a new model, but I don't have that one.
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Premium-Charger-PowerPort-Delivery/dp/B072K5ZJXF/
There's that.
I don't think there's a brick with that many Type C ports.
This Anker wall charger has one USB-C port and a few USB A ports
I have one of these on my desk and it works for USB stuff pretty well. As far as USB C to Lightning cable, AFAIK the only actual certified Made for iPhone USB C to Lightning cable is the official Apple one.
I know that doesn't really help much, but Anker is a really trusted brand of mine so I wouldn't go wrong with them. Here's a decent one. It's expensive, but it's definitely worth it.
It's a 60W Anker hub/power supply: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072K5ZJXF
Hmm, now that I'm looking at the listing again, it appears that it only delivers 30W, which is probably not enough

I see you picked one from Anker.
If you don't mind the price hike, I can also recommend this one from Anker with Power Delivery (rather than Qualcomm QC 3.0):
I have two of these.
The advantage is that the PD USB-C port allows you to power USB-C hubs such as these https://www.amazon.com/ATZEBE-Compatible-MacBook-Adapter-Ethernet/dp/B07H6996RW/ , which can in their turn fast charge the V20 while being attached to peripherals. QC does not work for this scenario.
Downside is that the required USB-C to USB-C cable is more expensive and less common to find. A USB 2.0 cable is sufficient, btw.
USB C Wall Charger, Anker Premium 60W 5-Port Desktop Charger with One 30W Power Delivery Port for MacBook Air 2018, iPad Pro 2018, and 4 PowerIQ Ports for iPhone XS/Max/XR/X/8/7, Galaxy S9/S8 and More https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072K5ZJXF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_fbCBCb60NCF9K
Good to hear you're not affected. My max arrives on the 4th so I'm not sure if it has the charge issue.

I've heard from some tech YouTubers that these are trust-worthy. I've never used them and they are a bit pricey. I've purchased from Anker several times with no big issues and their customer service is really good. Hope this helps.
There are a lot of Amazon reviews regarding reliability concerns with the UX430UA. Unfortunately, there isn't as much information on the Q325UA because it's a Best Buy-only model. The Q325 is on sale this week. I was considering an HP Spectre x360 with similar specs, but this will be $300 less, so I'm probably going for the Asus. I'm using it for travel, so the 2-in-1 design is a plus along with the USB-C charging that means I can get something like this to charge multiple phones, batteries, and the laptop.
Edit: If all-day-power is a concern, there are portable batteries for USB-C power delivery. The 430 uses a traditional power brick, so no portables.
So, I did not thoroughly do my research before purchasing the following charger as a spare for my Chromebook Pro
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072K5ZJXF/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza
This charger only gives me the "Low-power Charger connected" notification even though the charger says 60W. There is a review from another purchaser that realized this after the fact, and Anker stated that the CBP required "at least 12V/3.33A input when powering it".
My question: Is there any recommended multi-port USB Charger that will put out the necessary input for the CBP? I'd prefer something trusted such as Anker, but if I have to go to other brands to cut down to carrying 1 charger I will consider it.
I use the anker USB Type-C, Anker Premium 5-Port 60W USB Wall Charger, it is almost twice as wide as the stock charger, and only charges at 30W out of the usb C port. but it is a little lighter and has 4 usb ports for charging other devices. It does charge the 920 with no problem just a little slower. I a few times I forgot my charger before I bought this one I used my friends charger for his HP specter x360 a few times with no issues. I got the anker charger from amazon with a coupon code from anker for $32

Thought I'd close this thread with a product that I bought and works for me. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072K5ZJXF
It's a 5-port multi-USB charger, with 1 USB-C port that works great for my Pixel2.
I am a big fan of this Anker's USB-C power supply. Works fine for all my legacy devices and also for my cell phone and Pixelbook.
And the best part is, while it comes with a power cord, you can install an adapter to turn it into a wall charger. I haven't tried yet, but I imagine this also works with European plugs.
I installed an extra long 10ft USB charging cable. That's the beauty of having a device that you can plug arbitrary cables into, rather than being limited by the power supply that came with your device.

I really doubt you need to worry about frying your devices. Also, if you want to charge to the max, you'll need new cables. Those USB A cords don't usually cut it. You'd be better off buying some usbc to lighting cables and usbc to usbc cables to keep around the house.
Don't worry about 3.0 cords either. Sounds like you'll need 2.0 cords only.

AUKEY USB C Charger with 46W... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074C2VZ2T?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf this is what I use for my phone. Works flawlessly.
I see. So if I wanted to carry only one charger, I'd have to get something with two ports like this and still carry around two cables? (One USB-C to C for the Chromebook and one USB-C to USB-A for the phone?)
https://www.amazon.com/AUKEY-Charger-Delivery-Compatible-MacBook/dp/B074C2VZ2T
This Aukey 56.5W wall charger is on lightning deal for $22.79 for the next 4 hours. About 18% claimed right now.
Will this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074C2VZ2T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_QqXRDbFSK59H5 brick be able to warp charge my incoming 7t?
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074C2VZ2T?psc=1
I use these with my SL2 for USB C charging and they work fine.
... And then any quality USB C to C cable. I use mostly Anker, as I've had the best luck with that brand. I can also get it to charge (more slowly though) with the Anker PowerCore Speed 20100 mAh battery.
My current laptop is the Huawei Matebook X. I use and Aukey power adapter (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074C2VZ2T) and battery pack (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JK63TSJ). The battery pack can actually charge the laptop. The power adapter can charge both the laptop and battery pack. I have one long usb-c to usb-c cable and one short one (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DNSYH7R) that each do USB 3.1 speeds. It's great having a usb-c setup like this. Super light and lots of charging options.
FWIW, I have good experiences with this:

I've used it to power my official dock (inside a smaller case) for travel.

Links that I removed out of caution of triggering automod:
> Wireless Charging - Great as well. 10w charging via Qi, quickcharge 3.0 compatible chargers. I bought this one to go with it. It's not like the slow shitty Qi charging that came with the Nexus 5 (I had it and can attest it was pretty bad, even the magnetic charger you had to buy separately).
The charger I bought, but mine came with the power adapter; currently $13 with a code found on slickdeals
> Case - I'm a case guy, so as a case guy, I did case guy things. Like waiting for my case to arrive before taking my phone into the scary outside world. I decided to splurge and this is the one I bought as Spigen Tough Armor XP. This case goes on perfectly and feels like it could survive any drop. I was deciding between the slimmer cases (neohybrid, rugged armor, etc), but I'm glad I went with this tough boi. It doesn't add too much to the thickness either. It's still way more pocketable than the 6p lol. It also doesn't interefere with my wireless charging, which is fantastic.
Case I bought
The Anker Powerwave Stand does work, assuming you don't have a case on your phone. Unfortunately, I have the Tudia case on my RP2 which added just enough additional bulk to raise the phone out of range for the coil to work consistently when the phone was upright. At best, I'd have to keep the phone in landscape and center the stand behind the bottom half of the phone (which usually meant propping up the top half of the phone with someone so it sat leveled on the stand).
I decided to scrap the stand and get a few Anker Powerwave Pads at home and keep an Anker Powerwave 7.5 Pad at work (to charge rapidly). While the placement still requires centering the pad on the bottom half of the phone, the pads all work great... and I can still use my Tudia case!
Get anker brand one like this https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Wireless-Qi-Certified-Compatible-PowerPort-x/dp/B0753Z4PGC/ref=sr_1_5?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1550361682&sr=1-5&keywords=anker+wireless+charger that's apparently 5w. There's a 10w but faster charging will heat up phone more so up2u. https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Qi-Certified-Compatible-Fast-Charging-PowerWave/dp/B07DBXZZN3/ref=sr_1_3?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1550361682&sr=1-3&keywords=anker+wireless+charger

I also have these two, that work great.

Good to know. Since it isn't flush with the case do you know if it obstructs the use of a case? Also, have you tried any Qi wireless chargers? I'm thinking of one of these.

Yes, it is! Anker Charging Stand
I recently graduated law school and built a home office setup for around $600 (my law firm has a good work from home policy). Details below:

Desk - DlandHome L-Shaped Desk - $130
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0798JW7FD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The L-shaped desk contains plenty of space for my dual monitor setup and has plenty of extra space on the sides. It was very easy to assemble (unlike some IKEA desks) and ships in a manageable flat box. I keep it in the corner of my room and it is very sturdy and doesn't shake.

Chair - AmazonBasics Office Chair -$50
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01D7P5BFS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Cheap and comfortable.

Monitors - 2x HP 23.8 in Monitors - 2x $110
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072M34RQC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
These can rotate both horizontally and vertically, which makes them perfect for work. Also VESA compatible. The quality of these are pretty good, but I only use them for word processing and web browsing. Not sure how good they are for movies or gaming.

Laptop Dock - Dell Universal Dock - $130
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071YTQBXM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Compatible with any laptop with a USB-C port. It charges the laptop as well while plugged in. It works with my work laptop without installing any additional drivers. Supports 2x DP and 1x HDMI. You might need to buy additional DisplayPort to HDMI cables depending on the monitors you use.

Accessories
Logitech K840 Mechanical Keyboard - $60
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071VHYZ62/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Anker Wireless Charger - $15

If anyone requests, I can upload a picture when I get home tonight. Also feel free to ask any questions.
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Qi-Certified-Compatible-Fast-Charging-PowerWave/dp/B07DBXZZN3/ works well for me. I just plug it in my computer and it charges fine. But faster charging should work using a quick charger. Phone charges in both portrait and landscape orientations which is handy.
Just FYI, I got this Anker wireless charger but just know that it only charges at 5W, not 10W. Apparently the wireless charger needs to be EPP certified to be able to charge at 10W on the Pixel 4.

I've got a Tudia Merge, but it does NOT work with wireless charging. Here's what I own:
Merge: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07K73P7NX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Anker Wireless Charger: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DBXZZN3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Choetech Wireless Car Charger: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HQDHV49/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The Anker works fine when I remove the case. So does the Choetech, but it has to grip the phone at a weird height to start charging. That makes both of them pretty much useless to me.
I like the Tudia case. I'll take protection over wireless charging any day. But those chargers above don't work with it, at all.

There's a few power banks on amazon with almost twice as much storage for cheaper.

The XPS can take power through it's USB C port so you've got quite a few more options available if you google around.

(Aukey 30,000 mah C-C)
I like it a lot. Pretty big and bulky but it can charge a phone fully like 6 times. I can fit it in the pocket of my jeans (I wear a 40, so take that as you will).
Sometimes it turns off randomly but i think that's because I hit the button or my cable is fucked up
Looking to charge my switch on the go. I have an ANKER power bank and was thinking of getting this cable: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Anker-PowerLine-Durability-Devices-Including/dp/B01GN0M6NE/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=usb-+c+to+usb+nintendo+switch&qid=1558469645&s=gateway&sr=8-3
I was wondering if using that combination would be safe for the switch cause I really don't want to brick it.
There seems to be a sale on Anker chargers. Would any of these be a great fit for the Switch? I don't want to run the chance of ruining it. Also if they are what would be a recommend charging cord? 4 Port
Quick charge 3.0

Anker powerline cables are much higher quality than Samsung's
I think I understand what you are trying to do. You don't need our Mac to do this.
You need the usb cable to connect your controller to a usb, and a USB OTG.
Then all you have to do is connect them together, and then go to the SixAxis application and choose the "Pair Controller".Don't forget that you need to be rooted. That should allow you to pair the controller with your phone.
I don't think there is a way to pair it with mac as the middleman. Either do what I say above, or borrow someone's windows computer.
Having USB OTG helps though, for other things as well, so having it is no harm.
P.S. If you are just playing dead trigger, you can just connect the controller via USB + USB OTG to the phone.

Bought this same setup last week. The small universal X-grip (UN7) works for the the average smart phone, yours included. I have the galaxy S5. A thick case like an otter box might be too big. I believe the item description gives the maximum and minimum measurements for phone height and width.

I use this:

There's a ton of options though. That one is a bit on the thicker side so fee free to look through amazon.
That's totally fair. But don't think there aren't people who think that Apple made usb c. I've met more than a couple :P
And here is a more expensive, but high quality USB C charger that is still half the price of a Mac charger.
